Mixed BlessingThis app was based on VCVRack but without asking permission. Because VCVRack switched licensing model when it hit v1 this app is taken from an older version of that program so it isn’t as advanced as the latest VCV. Crappy ethics aside it’s a good modular synth environment and the best i know of for ios (IMO). One star for appropriating VCVRack without permission and being a jerk when confronted but it’s probably a 4 star app with room to improve. Edit: more likely a 5 star app..Version: 3.05

Very cool but needs improvement.I love the app ,it’s like a dream came true. But after I was switching from multiwindow mode back into miRack only my whole setup just reset back into the state in which I opened it. So all progress got lost. And also there is no connectivity to Audiobus 3. If these things get fixed I give you five stars..Version: 1.02

Help!I’ve given up on this I’m afraid to say. A little help for a novice (like me) would help. At the moment I’m left with what looks like a lot of potential and more than a little frustration. Step-by-step tuition from simple to complex would seem essential but there’s nothing to absorb or inspire me. This is clearly intended for someone a lot more savvy than me and that’s disappointing..Version: 2.02

Needs modules and freezesNeeds more modules or the ability to import your own third party modules. Some buttons freeze up a fair amount like solo on the 16ch mixer and has to be closed and reopened.Version: 3.74

Can't record on ipad, keeps crashing when i want save a wav file in folders. The app is good, but it keeps crashing anytime i try to save a recording in my folders!.Version: 2.02

Great potentialGreat potential, but currently unusable for me because I get a glitch (hiccup) every 1 or 2 seconds.. and that’s with any oscillator plugged directly into the output - which should be a sustained steady tone. It gets worse when adding an envelope etc etc. Hope an update comes soon, looking forward to getting into it. Running iOS 11.3.1 on iPad Pro..Version: 1.0

Isn't polyphonic. In fairness, the description doesn't claim polyphony. But I suppose I've come to expect polyphony in any synth app, whether it is mentioned in the description or not. I'm new to modular synths, and I didn't realize this wasn't polyphonic, until after I had already spent several days learning it, and had finally built my first working midi synth, and noticed it wasn't playing more than one note at a time. Spent another day trying to figure out which modules I would need to make it polyphonic, only to finally discover that there literally ISN'T any polyphony in this app. Amazing modular synth. But pretty astonishingly useless if you are like me, and needed polyphony. Looks like mirack is going into my "junk" folder, at least until polyphony is added, which might be never. But in the mean time, there are other modular synths available for iphone, which have polyphony..Version: 3.05

Give us a bloody clue.I bought this based on the reviews only to find that the manual, such as it is, gives no instructions on how to get started. I’m not stupid, I understand how to set up midi controllers and audio inputs and outputs, but how do I use this with a midi controller and is that even possible? I see that there are midi modules but there’s nothing to explain what to connect. My Korg nanoKey Studio shows up as a controller but it’s impossible to connect it to anything. Nothing works and I’m faced with various badly labelled modules and so far guessing what connects where has failed to produce any sound whatsoever. A few simple diagrams showing some basic setups would have been helpful, but I’ve wasted 4 hours on something I can’t get any sound out of. I’m sorry to say that this is not a very user friendly app and I would not recommend this to anyone..Version: 2.01

Virtually NO documentationYou can look up details on some of these modules on the web, and you’ll have to as documentation here is extremely weak. Basic stuff like, how do I save the generated output as an audio file appears to be nonexistent. Modules have a “manual” link but so far all I’ve seen there for the most part is a phrase that restates what the module is which was obvious. I’ve not found a community forum and support on the developer’s site is just an email address. If it were a free app, that’s one thing, but as a $9.95 port of VCV rack, it’s the bare minimum. And attempting to save a wav file from the sampler crashed the program and lost my patch entirely..Version: 2.10
