✓ Few big flaws in the app and recipesApp is generally ok, but there are fundamental issues that could be very easily solved and yet are still an issue like: - there are many recipes that are in foreign language and not doable if you don’t speak the foreign language. Why isn’t there a translation feature that allows you to have access to these? When someone demos a thermomix and says there are over 60k+ recipes available, this is only true if you speak all foreign languages... - also, if you happen to actually speak a different language, by default, the search only shows you recipes in you own country, and if you want to go and explore the other countries, you need to constantly go to the filters to select the other countries to include them. There should be a setting allowing you to set these by default so that all search actually include whatever you want as « base setting » to include whatever country or language you desire as default settings.Davidsch3Version: 5.1.5

✓ Good but room for improvementThis app plus the thermomix are a game changer; however, there are some additions which would make this a far more usable and beneficial app. 1. Add the ability for people to comment on recipes and make those comments public. Knowing what worked and did not work for others and how to adjust the recipe for better results can help reduce food waste. 2. Enforcement of standardization of measurements (e.g., from two large carrots to 100 grams of chopped carrots) and ingredients (e.g., from “oil” to specifying which type of oil is best suited for the recipe)..PaulskiVersion: 5.5.9

✓ A good start, but....The app has potential but just like the website has major issues that need resolving. First of all, users should be able to save and upload their own recipes to the Thermomix. Second, and more important is access to all of the recipes across all of the countries they service. The US market is still too small for us to be locked into recipes just here. ✓ It works fine but misses on easy featuresThe app works fine but the fact that I can’t save my filters to be defaulted when I resume the app is very annoying. I should be able to do so. ✓ Crashes on multiple devicesOn three iPhones and one iPad, this app works just fine when I choose cook today (heute kochen), but immediately crashes if I attempt to add the recipe to my shopping list or my own recipes. I first did the standard restarts, reinstalls, etc, and the. contacted tech support about this issue over a month ago (contact is via email). It took two weeks and a follow-up email to get a response that simply advised me to try reinstalling the app. The problem remains. ✓ Needs So Many ImprovementsThermomix is such an expensive machine, and this Cookidoo app is so disappointing as its only integrated cookbook. Some issues that need addressed: 1) Platform needs an internal translator built-in so that, say, USA customers can choose recipes from other countries and actually be able to read them and cook them. Recipes in English are only 7,800, whereas recipes across entire platform are 60,000+. I want the ability to choose from all of them! 2) Should have the ability to adjust serving size to 2, 4, 6, 8 and all of the ingredient amounts automatically adjust. 3) App should have a way to save filter preferences and not reset every time the app is closed. 4) Recipe quality needs improved. Seems heavily geared toward sweets. I would love to see more healthy, whole-food recipes that are packed with flavor. Healthy food doesn’t have to be just plain, steamed and bland. 5) Recipe variation needs improved. Searched United States for “Steel Cut Oats”. Nothing. I would love to see twenty different steel cut variations to choose from. “Grouper”. Nothing. I want Cookidoo to work as a true online cookbook-quality compilation, but it is lacking SO MUCH. ✓ Latest Version Doesn’t WorkI used to love this app and use it daily. Since the latest release, I can no longer use any of the functions under the “add” button, such as adding to my weekly planner or adding to a grocery shopping list, which renders the app quite useless and frustrating. ✓ Could be so much betterThe app works just fine, it’s a simple collection of recipes that you can browse and add to your shopping cart but it could do so much more! For example, it’s not possible to convert units, the app can’t control the thermomix or even read the time left from thermomix. It would be nice to have more images and videos associated with each step of the recipe. Bonus point: all the recipes translated in English..YurbitronVersion: 5.4.4
