✓ Great idea, great implementationI just wanted to commend the devs for opening up so many parameters to external control in the Audio Unit. Far too few apps do this. It really does function just like my old A3000 hardware sampler. Of course it would be great if users could produce their own sample packs but I can see why that ain’t gonna happen..Version: 1.1.1

✓ In app purchasesIs anyone else having issue where all the purchased samples don’t load? I changed iPads and “restored purchases” and a lot of my packs only restored 1 or 2 samples. Still a quality app, but I think it needs an update..Version: 1.1.1
✓ You guys are on to somethingShoutout to you guys. Love the product and the add on capability. Can we look at filesize reduction maybe something cloud based for the future. Also organization by bpm and key for the samples would be tremendo. It gives it the crate digger vibe when sorting through but to also have the option would be mad for productivity. ✓ (UPDATE 2022) Just buy itSample import was added and opened up a whole new world in Chomplr. I’m still loving this app. The only other feature that would significantly improve this app would be the ability to save a project state. Unless you’re in a DAW you can’t save all of the in and out points you’ve made to a sample. It would be nice to open up a sample in Chomplr, create all your in and out key points, set your effects and then be able to come back to it later in the same place it was when you left. Any chance of this feature? Still worth more than they’re charging tho. ————————- I’ve been following this company for a while and am nothing but impressed with their aesthetic and attention to detail. This app sounds amazing. What you can do with one short sample by assigning certain sections to keys and tweaking is a game changer. I know the tech has been out for a while but hasn’t been implemented into iOS in this way with such a diverse array of effects. I was pretty disappointed to see that I couldn’t import my own samples though 😕 If that feature gets added then this thing is unlimited in its scope. For now I’ll just tweak what is provided by MSXII and try to make it my own. Anyway if you were on the fence just do it, it’s only $5, what do you have to lose?.Version: 1.2.5

✓ Almost like KOALA for beginners… and it’s AMAZINGUsing koala and Samplr stumbled upon Chomplr later on and almost wish I found it first… it eliminates the complication involved with other iOS apps with similar concepts so you can really just focus on making music and enjoying it… My only gripe is the sample library, yet amazing, isn’t inexpensive… paying a few dollars to sometimes get one or two samples seems a bit minimal when other apps usual sell massive preset packs for that price… but the import your own sample feature makes this app 100% worth it… and the samples they do offer for sale are definitely optimized for usage in Chomplr to be used “right out of the box” with little to no tweaking needed… either way I plan on continuing to buy more of their samples and adding my own cuts… Koala is still my favorite sampler for features but for more of a free flow “fun” workflow Chomplr gets right to the point… Looking forward to what else comes out from the developer going forward….Version: 1.2.5

✓ Much improved with state saving addedHaving put some pleasing stuff together in AUM with this app earlier today I just reloaded the sessions to find all the samples have changed, this renders the app somewhat useless at present. £0.99 for just 6 samples seems a bit steep frankly also, agree with the previous review that this desperately needs the ability to import samples to really be worthwhile. ✓ Not Quite Finished....YetJudging by the name (chomplr; rhymes with rompler), Chomplr is clearly just intended to be a sample player, as opposed to a full on sampler. However, the developer seems to be suggesting that Chomplr will have some sampling capability as well as the ability to import your own samples in the future. I hope this is true, as it will elevate this app into the must-have category. After using it for a couple of weeks, Chomplr could really benefit from an easier and more precise method of manipulating the slicer start and end points. And some kind of basic transient detect function would be really nice. And a pads option, instead of a keyboard. Apart from that, this is a good, solid v1, and the samples are top quality. I just really hope the MSXII team keep pushing this app forwards. It could be one of the greats..Version: 1.1.1
