Still haven’t managed to sign upDespite the negative reviews, I decided to try and sign up. Has anyone supervising the app development actually tried to do this on an iPhone? It’s a clown show. Fields are improperly identified (e.g. my phone tried to enter a suggested password in an email field). You can paste into some fields, but not others. If I’m trying to use a secure password, I don’t want to have to type it out! (I use a password manager, like any intelligent person) If you don’t get to the end of the process, you can’t come back to it later, you have to start from scratch. S#!t show..Version: 4.18.0

Infuriatingly badI couldn’t get the verify button to link through properly and then when adding my card for the plan apparently my postal code isn’t a valid postal code, nor was any other postal code I’ve had over my lifetime. Nor were the postal codes of any of the businesses ive worked for. This app is infuriatingly bad and I wish I had just started charging instead of wasting my time with this..Version: 6.15.41

Steep Price Increase RecentlyIf you charge fast (100kW+), the price has just gone up by over 50% with their switch to price per kWh. I previously averaged $20/charge, it’s now over $30/charge..Version: 7.9.0

Poor T&CsThe sign up process requires one to consent to device notifications from third party providers (notification spam) and emails including “other offers” (email spam). This seems wholly unnecessary for the purposes of me paying money to put electrons in my car..Version: 4.15.0

Can’t sign inI tried to take advantage of the Pass+ membership & forced myself through the painful signup process that is long & does not allow auto fill. Once I finally got in & verified the email address it prompted me to sign in again, except the password didn’t work. So I reset the password several times. Password managers are not supported & pasting is disabled, so I had to retype a long password each time. I gave up. Back I go to spending the first 10 minutes of each charge trying to get the physical credit card machine to work..Version: 6.15.2

Outrageous PricingWill only use as a last resort. $0.57 a minute is ridiculous..Version: 7.3.6

No CarPlayIt’s strange that there is a CarPlay app for Electrify America, but not one for Electrify Canada. In fact, it’s strange that there are two apps at all when a lot of us drive over the border and use apps in both countries..Version: 7.10.1

Mediocre implementationThis charging network is very unreliable. Typically 2-3/4 chargers will be either broken outright. Or not working properly. A big gripe is the extra “continue” dialogue after charging is initiated. Which no other charger has and often leads one to walk away before the charger actually starts. One good thing is that you can tap a credit card and don’t NEED the app. Overall not so good..Version: 7.6.7

UnreliableWas a hassle to connect, took forever as it froze several times. Drops off from wifi now and then. I don’t see any added benefit of using this app, unless there are some much needed corrections..Version: 7.4.6

No live data without minimum payment and noAs a first time user (guest) i’m fine paying credit on demand however i wanted to know if the charger would be available- so installed the app but you can’t see live data without signing up ... OK but you can’t sign up without paying a “minimum” amount of $10 that is all fine if you plan to use the network and app often but i don’t know if i do — hence trying the app — and was immediately paywalled bad first experience (note have used other apps for Canada charger and they don’t require this).Version: 4.18.0

VERY disappointedMy first attempt to use this app & company was very frustrating. There are 4 chargers at the Canadian Tire in Kelowna BC: one was out of service, one in an endless loop of “preparing” or some other vacuous message, and two showed as operational. The “tap” pad on the one I used was non-functional and so would not recognize my iPhone, so I had to use my credit card at a higher cost rate. Yes, NFC works on my iPhone for every other Apple Wallet card so that is not the problem. I will complain to Electrify Canada but that is a waste of time I should not have to endure. Oh, and there was no help line phone number that I could call in the “help” menu on the charger. Inexcusable..Version: 7.5.1

Bad app, poor customer service, horrible charging stationsUser experience on app is horrible. Couldn’t not input credit card details without error. Finally figured out that you can’t have spaces between the postal code. The developers should be considering these small things that make a big difference. The chargers themselves are useless 90% of the time. When I plug them into my brand new Audi Etron, the chargers do not recognize they are plugged in. Even with 30 minutes of free charging through Audi, this program is a joke and not worth the hassle. Customer service is non existent..Version: 6.15.2

Still missing CarplayCarplay is still unavailable making using this app illegal while driving in Quebec. All other ev charging app support carplay, electify america app do support it. Wake up Electricity canada.Version: 7.10.0

Service client -10/10Je suis un nouveau client de Electricity Canada et je peux vous dire le service client, il est très décevant. Je suis incapable de parler à quelqu’un qui parle français, il faut qui fasse à faire avec un traducteur pour me parler. La ligne téléphonique a coupé 2 fois lors de l’échange téléphonique. J’ai du rappelé un autre jour pour que mon frère qui parle très bien l’anglais appel et règle mon problème. Je n’ai pas eu le service en français mais mon problème a été réglé. 10 jour plus tard, je reçois un appel de Jone de Electricify Canada. En me disant que c’est pas possible le remboursement. ( je parle a 2 personnes et les 2 personnes me dit pas la même chose), donc j’ai tout de suite demander a parler a un supérieur, mais aucun supérieur ne parle français. Mais Electricify Canada offre le service en français. J’ai tenu mon boute et après 1 heure de temps au téléphone, Jone de Electricify Canada a fini par me raccrocher au nez. Merci Electricify Canada pour votre service en français.Version: 7.3.3

Constant problems with ChademoI have driven an EV for 5 years and Electrify stations are the absolute worst for Chademo charging. The app fails to accept payment, even when the wallet has a balance, and often will not initiate charging. Even reporting a charging station problem is difficult to do and comes up with error messages constantly. Very hard to get situations rectified while onsite..Version: 7.4.6
