✓ Power ups totally spoil the gamePower ups should be optional not essential to do the challenges, it messes up the balance of the game, when most of the later stars are only obtained by busing power ups. The core game idea is a good one., the power up system feels like it was a left over remanent from pay 2 win, and it’s so frustrating here, just let us play the game properly. One will have all of your progress and the other will be stuck after level one. If you try to select the save file with your progress, it will send you to the menu. When you try to play, it will force you to choose a save file, over and over and over again. Beyond the annoying structure of endless mini-games, I think there’s something really sad about framing the whole thing as a job. ✓ Too hectic even in calm modeI remember the OG being fun but ultimately too stressful to enjoy properly. thought i’d check this new version out and it’s just too much. which, hey, that’s me. i have an anxiety disorder so maybe a game called “Frenzic” is not for me. :) i feel like if this had an untimed, unrestricted “zen” mode it’d be nice and soothing, but would that be the same game? i dunno. just thinking out loud i guess. i will say the app mostly works well, but when trying to enter the app switcher by swiping up from the bottom of the screen, it takes multiple tries. usually it tries swiping left or right instead. and when it does read it as a vertical swipe, i practically have to swipe all the way to the top of the screen to invoke the app switcher. only app on my phone which acts this way..CarlamaticVersion: 1.3

They’re all much of the same without anything to grab attention. The variations and challenges that are there are just all more of the same basic sort-the-pieces. Many pointless power ups too given that only a handful are useful to achieve the necessary stars. Also, far too short - doesn’t take much time to reach the end and the game just stops.
