✓ Potential but so. many. ads...The game play of this looks quite fun and it is, you get invested in saving all your little people and creating elaborate rope paths to get them out. The thing is, it’s impossible to really get into it because there’s an advertisement every single round. You can finish a round in 10 or 20 seconds and then you’re up for a 30 second ad. I understand they need ads to make revenue but I shouldn’t be spending more time watching ads than playing the game. ✓ BuggyThis game is quite fun and addictive when it works. I have had my gems balance disappear, shown ads after paid for them to be removed (incidentally why do I have to wait for the next level if I paid!?) and the rope sometimes goes offset from my finger which makes it hard to route. ✓ Fun game... too shortThe game is fun. Addicting. Intuitive. I even paid the 2.99 to get rid of the ads. But I am on level 717 and I’ve been playing the same 150 levels over and over again. I mean, at least get rid of the training level - I wish there were more levels. I wish some were more challenging. Much larger, complicated, and detailed games on my phone don’t lag as bad at this one does. Also, the ads are a bit much. ✓ Too many adsI’m fine with ad’s, but there’s an unskippable 20-30 second ad between every minute of actual gameplay. Some ad’s say they can be skipped at the cost of forfeiting rewards, but choosing that option still gives an ad, you just don’t get a reward. As a software developer, this is one of my biggest pet peeves, it’s intentionally misleading, and it’s aim is to steal the users time. If you’re going to show an ad anyway, just show it, don’t trick the user into thinking they have an option. Did I mention there are ads everywhere? Just saw another review mention if you turn on airplane mode that will disable all ads, so going to give that a shot. ✓ Good idea, poorly executed.The game itself is fun. I love that the only thing that matters is people don’t die. They can go up a zip line and it doesn’t matter. It’s great. The problem is the user interface. Once a level is started there are no options. There’s no menu, no restart, and you can only skip or retry after a complete failure, even if you know before it’s over that it’s failed. Every five levels you get an ad. If you unlock something, you get an ad. If you get a box and there are two options, one increases with an ad and the other just claims it, both give ads. The reviews weren’t too bad so why not? The first thing I noticed was the title and skins....(normal stuff etc.) BUT an ad popped up which was about thirty seconds long and when it finished it was hard finding the x button. When I completed a level ANOTHER ad would pop up and spoil it. So, first problem: ads. Nextly, the levels are too easy because you don’t have to transform everyone to the platform which spoils it extremely. So, second problem: levels are too easy. Lastly, some levels are IMPOSSIBLE as they have the things going in a way that you can’t transform everyone on to the platform. I also have issue with the style of advert for several reasons; they do not observe the devices mute status and regularly play sound when I do not want sound. They are often also 2 or 3 stages long, where you have an initial advert, which you may be able to skip after a few seconds, but are then presented with another title screen advert and have to wait 30 more seconds. You can also be presented with the same advert 50 times in a row (not an exaggeration). I am currently stuck on a level which I think is genuinely not possible (116) and have watched 3 long adverts to skip it, but it does not skip. ✓ The skip system is terrible!!!I have no issue with the ads, personally, but I do have an issue with the insincerity of the skip process. Whenever I get to a map that I simply can’t solve or don’t feel like solving, I hit skip. Skip takes me to an ad, but after the ad is finished, my screen freezes (on purpose) which causes me to exit the game. Once I exit the game, it takes me back to the same level. They honestly do it on purpose because my game doesn’t freeze any other time, only when I skip a level. I deleted the game on that alone. I always collect more than 66, I watch the count go into the 100s, and once I reach the end it simply says I got only 66. All the time. ✓ Too Many Ads!I’ve gotten to about level 75 in the game. The game seems fun enough, the puzzles aren’t too complicated but still require you to think of the best way to complete each stage. The biggest issue is the constant harassment of ads, sometimes you’ll need to sit through 3+ ads to restart or progress to the next level. Sometimes the ads will force volume through the phone event though I’ve put my phone on silent to avoid noise altogether.
