ROUVY for Positive User Reviews

For a real cycling experienceSo much better than the video game approach of Zwift. I’d much rather ride in a HD video on an actual route, many of them world famous, from around the world than in a cartoon volcano. So much variety with routes based in distance, hills or flat, scenery, etc. Helps keep me engaged when I’m forced indoors to ride. The workouts are helpful but sometimes I just like to ride a new (or favorite) route. As expected, easy integration with Strava and my smart trainer and heart rate monitor..Version: 2.30.1

Seems to work well for me?!Hello. Our group just switched over from Zwift. Rouvy seems to be working quite well for all 5 of us on appleTv. I love getting to “pre-ride” trips all over the world; motivates me to visit some of these places (lol and avoid others, sorry Witchita Falls...).Version: 1.3.1

Great virtual riding + racingLove the real routes AR riding. Devs listen to comments and do their best to improve the app according to riders' needs/requests. A growing variety of real world cycling organisations making use of it to run their virtual races. Riding with Rouvy has kept me sane during the pandemic. Keep up the good work!!.Version: 1.5.1

Like it!Seen a few reviews complaining about the registration and start up process, but it worked well for me. The search function for videos could be refined a bit, as its very clunky, and its hard to find anything. (The map is nearly useless, as you can’t see the routes unless you click on EVERY marker, and zooming takes forever), but the actual app AR ride experience itself seems to work really well. Thoroughly enjoyed my first ride, and as a long term Zwift user, was pleased to have a fresh route or two to follow..Version: 0.11.1.

Not a computer gameRouvy is far more realistic than that Z computer game, no such thing as power ups in the real world.Version: 1.6.7

Works great…love the road feelI gave ROUVY a try after being frustrated with a different, popular, platform’s interface with my Tacx trainer. ROUVY has no such problems…road changes are immediately felt. Love it. The video vs. cartoon world is also much appreciated. As for customer service, I have had to interact several times for help with the growing pains of getting started. I found the support to be quick, accurate and very helpful. In trough, I give the app 4.9 stars. Up to 5 if it actually remembered my login info when I’ve told it to do so..Version: 2.18.0

CrashingNot sure if it’s a problem with the new Apple update but the app keeps logging me out mid ride now. Very frustrating!.Version: 2.10.0

ROUVY WorksI’ve tested Rouvy out on various Turbo Trainers and it works. No cheating like you find on Zwift... It’s you, your bike, your trainer and AR. Get fitter and faster with Rouvy..Version: 1.0.2

Realistic alternativeRecently retired, I began biking regularly and enjoyed riding the country roads around home. I soon discovered that I wanted to ride even when weather or air quality would not allow. So, I visited the local bike shop, Gettysburg Bicycle, and purchased a trainer. They told me about ROUVY. I have been blown away by how much the new updates have improved the ride. I love being able to ride beautiful scenery while also tracking my relevant data in a very realistic environment. I find myself getting in the zone with the scenery going by just like on the road, even grinding the hills! If I have to ride inside giving up the natural feel, at least my mind can be distracted enough to make me forget that air moving by is from my fan. Thanks..Version: 2.19.1

New UI is an improvementThe new UI is a clear improvement over the previous one. App is much easier to navigate, more intuitive. The app could be a bit more responsive during navigation, e.g. selecting rides, but the latest version is definitely much better. Thanks, Rouvy team..Version: 3.0.2

Update to my reviewAs I have now spent almost 2 weeks with the App, I have learned how to create virtual riding partners who ride just a little faster than me, using Rouvy’s archive of other cyclist routes. I have been adding 30-50 riders so I always have someone nearby to challenge me. I think this app deserves to be viewed on a large screen. It runs best with Apple TV 64. Second choice would be a large screen iPad or computer. Another good choice would be an iPhone linked by HDMI adapter directly to a big screen. The filming and immersive feel would be wasted on just the small screen of a smartphone. And unless you have an ultra fast WiFi network, screen mirroring with ApplePlay or similar mirroring methods is too choppy to maintain the immersive feel. My next project will be to rewire my biking room with a direct Ethernet connection to my AppleTV so I can stream the rides instead of the 5-10 minute WiFi downloads to the Apple TV. I will soon run out of storage on the device and will have to delete earlier rides. My WiFi varies from 30-50 Mbps while my Ethernet runs 10 times faster..Version: 1.3.3

What exactly are we reviewingI’ve been adapting to riding indoors and it’s a challenge. Many choices out there. The one part of road cycling i have been looking for is in Rouvy. Rouvy takes my setup and makes the experience the closest i’ve come to being on the road. Get this, climbs feel like climbs. But when you get to the top of the climb you feel some float in the pedals. Then the drop comes and you’re on a nice descent that feels like you’re actually descending. The app is not perfect but the feel is . So let’s let these cool maps and rider community mature or grow. i’m more forgiving of less than perfect if it’s fun to ride and Rouvy does that. Do you want to recalibrate your riding for an app? Did you spend your money to have to learn to do it “their way”? I invested in myself when i bought my trainer. As that should be everyone’s goal. (** Tacx Neo 2 T for power and my Quarq power unit for cadence.) The apps should work for the riders not the other way. Give this a chance and i think you’ll get past the marketing and wow factor the competitors are banking on in a few short rides. Not that Rouvy lacks in wow factor. 😏 Cycling is personal and i’m reviewing this from a cyclists stance..Version: 1.2.2

Super appVraiment bien fait et super réaliste. Tellement de choix et paysages c’est vraiment plaisant. Configuration ultra facile Je recommande..Version: 3.1.3

Great for realistic routesJust started using Rouvy with the half price for 6 months offer and am really pleased with it. Realistic routes, great scenery, workouts and much more. The only flaw I have is sometimes when you’re cycling the picture freezes and your avatar carries on into the distance and it repeats that for a few kms. Annoying. But apart from that I’m enjoying it.Version: 2.27.0

As close as it gets to riding outsideGreat if you want to ride real life routes with real videos, either individually, as part of group rides or races. Rouvy and individual users are constantly adding more routes. This app focuses more on ride experience than training. It's more realistic when used with a smart/interactive trainer..Version: 1.5.1

The closest thing to the roadFantastic app. There is plenty of rides for you to choose from and for the few that I had the chance to compare in both virtual and real version, I can say that they overlap very accurately. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to ride but find it a challenge to get on road due to weather or time..Version: 2.13.0

Best AR and video routes, app needs a revampThe concept behind it is awesome. There is a UI/UX issue that they need to improve - strongly advise that they check the interface of competitors like Kinomap and Zwift to understand why Rouvy feels like an app designed 15 years ago. I like what it offers but damn, you can make it look better, especially on iOS.Version: 2.22.0

Most engaging appBeen on Rouvy for a year or so and easily best app to draw you into cycling fitness. The challenges encourage you to tackle rides you may not otherwise try and I like the small VR additions added to the route which makes it feel more like an event. Maybe some VR cheering crowds would be encouraging every so often! I definitely prefer the real road feel as compared to the entire VR of Zwift.Version: 2.8.0

Created Routes no longer work after 3 years usingOne of the main reasons I use ROUVY was my ability to add my own routes. After 3 years of riding my own routes it I longer works! Not sure why this features was removed ROUVY support was quick to respond and fixed the issue!.Version: 2.16.0

Perfect for what I want to doI am by no means a structured cyclist, but I do consider myself an enthusiast and definitely do not want to lose my summer gains over the winter months. I pair Rouvy to my Keiser M3i and it’s off to the races. I had some complaints about the original app in terms of bugs and crashing, to which the developers kindly responded with suggestions. Now that I’ve returned to the app in the fall, the changes and updates are night and day. New maps, fluid movement, and a lot more app stability once the ride gets going. You can tell they put a lot of work and love into making the app better for us. I have no reason to use anything else..Version: 2.0.1

Far exceeded my expectations -I’m HookedI’m not a fan of indoor trainers probably like most folks. In the past I’ve used my own recorded footage from my Garmin VIRB camera on an Apple TV to simulate a virtual ride to spice it up a bit. That worked just OK but with no interaction was a fairly mundane workout ( albeit better than staring at a wall!) I tried Zwift for a week but couldn’t really get on with it, I’m not knocking it as I know folks love it. But for me it was a bit like an Arcade game. Anyway not for me. I saw this and as virtual cycling appealed to me I thought I’d give it a try. First full disclosure, I don’t have a smart trainer, just a regular fluid flywheel type with Bluetooth sensors on the rear wheel and cadence sensor. So haven’t used it to the full potential yet. I was mightily impressed as to how easy it was to link the bike to my iMac using the software download and set it all up. I was up and running in no time at all. First impressions Wow! I found it incredibly good and immersive. What felt like only 30 minutes of cycling was actually 1r 15 mins . The scenery and augmented reality of my avatar riding through the beautiful countryside and interaction with other users was amazing. I particularly liked the companion riders. I am hooked absolutely love it! I’m now going to upgrade and purchase a smart trainer to get the full effect of resistance on the climbs etc. Thanks very much Rouvy this has really made my indoors fitness training so much more fun and taken it to the next level..Version: 2.18.0

Incredibly RealisticCan’t thank the developers of Rouvy enough for their continual efforts to provide their riders with the highest quality program on the virtual cycling market..Version: 2.7.0

Great enjoyable to keep fitI don’t get out on the roads as much as I would like to so ROUVY provides a great alternative. It provides ample of routes to meet all standards, I really enjoy setting pacers that help to push me that little bit harder. I am not and never have been a great cyclist and as I approach 70 I needed something to keep me motivated, ROUVY fits my needs perfectly and it is definitely improving my fitness level and my climbing ability, sure I am not fast but it’s still a great feeling to know that I can still climb some steep hills and have the energy to carry on and climb more. In my view this is a great product, especially for those who love cycling but can’t get out as often as they would like - this improves your fitness level and gives you confidence to keep cycling up those hills..Version: 2.10.0

Love it!I like the company when biking, and the competition! Great app, great routes. I cast it to my TV, and hop on..Version: 3.1.6

Love RouvyI’ve tried/used several smart trainer VR apps - some of which don’t exist any longer - and none provides the realistic sense of “being there” that Rouvy does. Lots of options like FTP test, ergo training, group rides, solo rides and races. The challenges certainly keep me engaged and riding inside even when the weather is great outside. Love the quality of the videos and prefer the real life feel to that of cartoon land..Version: 2.7.0

Lockdown essentialI’ve never been a fan of indoor training but it’s fair to say that using Rouvy makes a big difference. The virtual experience is very good and continues to improve with new features such as drafting. My only niggle is the navigation/workflow - i have to bounce from app to website to check on challenges and career progress - could the app and website sync more features?.Version: 1.2.2

Great app for fitness and to explore the worldI have enjoyed for 2 years through Covid lockdowns and endless rainy months in Sydney. I really enjoy exploring the world through this app and like the challenges. Technical support has been very good..Version: 2.7.0

Best indoor cycling appBest indoor cycling app without a doubt. Far more realistic and better feel in the saddle than Zwift. They also been pushing updates like crazy since a few months (kudo to the devs), the app and experience is becoming better and better each ride. Rouvy is the underdog to watch in upcoming years!.Version: 3.1.6

Love exploring the world’s cycle routesHaving used Zwift for a few years I was getting bored of the limited routes and the tedious graphics. This opens up a whole new world - literally. I love the real video, the fact that you are given three bots to ride with and the opportunity to see different spots in the world. The only thing I struggle with is finding a route. It’s clunky and hard to filter the type of route you’re looking for. A world map view would be awesome. Maybe it exists somewhere in the depths of the app?.Version: 3.1.6

I Love It!So far, it is the only App I’ve used, mostly because I am addicted. It is not perfect, but still great. My biggest gripe, is that SOME of the challenges have to be completed in “Race Mode.” I am slightly introverted, and really just enjoy riding the routes alone. Also, I am just a dude trying to get and stay in shape. I Would Love Love Love it even more if, they could make it compatible with FitBit, so I can see my heart rate and upload my workout to the FitBit dashboard..Version: 1.0.2

Lockdown lifesaverBrilliant indoor training experience. Am running with a wahoo kickr and with the Rouvy Augmented Reality you feel you are actually there... 100s of routes available- many seriously challenging. Went thru a couple of platforms before landing on Rouvy - now training every other day all round the world, from Columbia to Taiwan! Gamification element really works, finding myself racing other virtual cyclists and the clock in Rouvy’s Challenge rides. A real example how hardware and software here has combined to create an unbelievable experience for the user. Thanks team Rouvy!.Version: 1.3.5

Great variety and realismI prefer to use Rouvy for my off day rides because I really enjoy the realistic graphics and numbness choices. It’s like virtual site seeing in environments as rich as 4k. I revert back to zwift on traing days however because TrainingPeaks workouts sare only available on mobile. on zwift I can use my Mac mini and 50” tv for a immersive experience. When I can do my workouts on Rouvy mac app I will use it almost exclusively..Version: 1.4.0

Great to use with my Tacx NeoThis app works so well on my Apple TV and iPad. I like the challenges and feel it is helping immensely to regain my fitness after a long term hip injury..Version: 0.12.8.

What I was looking forGreat platform to exercise and make as real as it can be… Exactly what I was looking for! Works great on the Apple TV though I wonder why some of the options on the IOS app aren’t on the Apple TV? On the app you have a Workout option (on which you can do an ftp test) but it isn’t available on the Apple TV?.Version: 2.0.1

Best Trainer AppI know Zwift is loved, but I think this is better. AR is more immersive and engaging. Not tried group rides but love using it in my way. Supper is always quick and helpful which is an important factor too..Version: 2.10.0

Remote controlThanks for the latest updates. I like the planned workouts and videos. Is there a way to control the interface remotely? Eg. A phone app to navigate the screen on a laptop when the laptop is out of reach? Thanks.Version: 2.2.0

Virtual companions are helpful, but…The addition of virtual companions is an excellent change. There have been several times when all of them have been literally shoulder to shoulder for the entire ride. On a recent ride, two of them were overlapping so much that they could have been a creature from “Stranger Things”! Perhaps in the next release we could be given the option to select 1, 2, or 3 virtual companions. Otherwise, the ability to travel this world by bicycle is priceless. Thanks very much..Version: 2.8.0

A Fun Way to ExploreI enjoy the more gamified apps as well, but I always come back to Rouvy- it’s just what I typically feel like riding when the outdoors aren’t an option. My favorite thing to do is find routes I’ve done before in real life - Malibu Canyon, Cinque Terre, Valley of Fire - and ride them again virtually. It’s also helping me plan future trips. I’ve been using a Gen 3 Kickr and it feels great - no complaints there..Version: 2.4.0

RouvyI began using a few years ago. I love being able to outstanding scenery. The challenges are cool. I now Rouvypals around the world. Rouvy is a community and I really enjoy the connection. I appreciate being able to include outdoor rides and continue to receive coins. The Rouvy is engaged and I feel dedicated to their product and creating delight for us users. Kudos!.Version: 2.8.0

.Im a regular user of Rouvy, i like what i see within the many worldwide courses, and hows its adaptive to routes and gradients.....the races are entertaining, no faults found. Its helped me alot with hill training, and fun when flat course is a slight recovery day..Version: 1.5.1

Great app... best of everythingGreat workouts & I absolutely love the real hi def video footage.. makes turbo in the dark gloomy winters all the more enjoyable. Could get my head around zwift as I’m not a gamer but between ar and workouts rouvy is definitely my favourite.Version: 1.0.2

First ImpressionsI downloaded this app after watching the GCN show the other day . I’ve used Zwift for about a year and this app caught my attention . It was very easy to install and setup . Road up Mt teide in Tenerife and I’ve got to say I was impressed with it , takes virtual riding to a new level , yes there’s not as much interaction with other ppl but I often ride solo . The array of routes available to download looks great ,British hill climbs to the Vuelta stages looks amazing . Looking forward to riding those routes over the next few months. I’ll update this review in about a month , first impressions is its a very nice polished app with lots of potential in future updates ..Version: 1.3.1

Move leaderboard and add toggle to disable live racersFor the love of Contador, you gotta move the time trial leaderboard* off of the route profile! We need to be able to anticipate gear changes!.... And please please please add a toggle to remove live racers from showing in time trial mode (and for ourselves on other riders’ views [privacy]). We are not all here to race others! We are here to challenge ourselves, and having the Valverdes out there hanging on the back wheel until the end makes me want to just find another app. And really, the only time I want to see the Roglič’s of the world passing me on a motorcycle is through the lens of the Grand Tour chariots. *the leaderboard is pretty silly considering the numbers, but sure..Version: 1.5.3

USE THE BEST IT BEATS THE RESTI’ve tried pretty much all the cycling apps. Rouvy completes what I wanted and needed. Easy to use. Masses of routes to choose from to suit every mood and need. Only one complaint - that damnable Avatar who keeps beating me in the final sprint! One day my friend! One day!!.Version: 2.12.0

Target heart rateLove this app and benefits of improving fitness. Would be great if one was able to set target heart rate with a notification on screen when exceeding target while training. Could this be added to customer requirement sandbox?.Version: 2.13.0

Great App, shame about subscription model.Great App, good mix between Zwift and Fulgaz and I enjoyed it. As a rider that only rides inside when the weather is bad the subscription model doesn't work for me, would be good to have a pay-per-play or credits type alternative as otherwise I am paying a monthly subscription to use it sporadically..Version: 1.5.6

Fun, engaging and affordableThis app is great for training indoor if you’re not after 3D worlds and visual effects. It allows you to ride all around the world and UK event routes which is great for preparation for a local ride. Also, for one premium account I get to have 1 premium account for me, 1 for the missus and 1 for my brother... you really can’t beat that value for money..Version: 1.2.2

Great cycling appI’ve been using Rouvy for almost 4 months. I looked a Zwift, Bekool and RGT but ended up with Rouvy as my preferred choice. I like the real video, the gaming style graphics in Zwift don’t appeal. The AR is a bit gimmicky tbh. most of the vids are HD or 2k. The choice of real routes are great. Haven’t done any workouts yet or races but not really into that malarkey. It’s cheap too..Version: 1.5.1

ROUVY is perfect for meAfter a few years of Zwift, ROUVY is a really welcome change and delivers a much calmer and scenic experience. I love the number of routes all over the world. Keeps things very interesting. Also, love the shared family plan as my wife rides it almost daily as well! If I could make one suggestion… adding audio would really bring this app to the next level, like Zwift. Overall, very happy I made the switch!.Version: 2.24.1

High motivatorI find the Rouvy app an extremely helpful tool to help maintain interest and motivation; there is a significant variety of routes from which to choose and there is an ability to interact on several different levels..Version: 2.7.0

Top marks for RouvyI’ve just completed my 2nd season with Rouvy. It just works for me. I’ve tried a couple of the alternative apps, which have their strengths and I’m sure work for some folks. But for me, Rouvy provides a more realistic experience with actual video of the areas being ridden. Over time, Rouvy has tweaked a number of the technical features, displays and metrics for a more satisfying experience. More recently they’ve improved the rewards “coin” system, which is more appealing to me. While navigating some parts of their website can sometimes be challenging, it is not a showstopper. One of Rouvy’s greatest strengths is their customer service. It is professional, timely and responsive, and agents seem genuinely committed to assisting their clients. I’ve had nothing but excellent service..Version: 2.7.0

Just keeps getting better and betterI switched to AR riding, what a difference. I can train on routes I plan to race in, ride countries I dream of visiting. So many routes, races, also you can climb the Rouvy ladder by completing challenges, riding routes, scoring points, aim to be a Legend, never a dull moment..Version: 1.5.1

I Love Exploring the World via RouvyI’ve been riding Rouvy AR about 4-6 days per week for most a year now, and I love it. Unlike another popular indoor training app, Rouvy uses real-world video (and you can upload your own), so that you see the real world as you ride, without video game features. In hundreds of rides, I’ve only repeated a few and that was just because I enjoyed them; I still have hundreds more saved to try. I also get great motivation from the challenges, races, and career ladder, and have made new riding friends through using it. Most fundamentally, it’s also made me a much stronger rider, despite many years of prior experience. I like it so much that I sometimes choose to ride indoors even on nice days, just because I enjoy the app so much. The AR version is still fairly new and is evolving; most notably they have now added ANT+ functionality, but I’ve always used it with Bluetooth and never had any issues. There’s still plenty of room for it to grow and improve, but if Rouvy stayed as it is I would still be using it years from now..Version: 1.5.1

Rouvy ReviewI’ve tried them all, Rouvy is the best for me!!.Version: 2.17.1

The augmented reality closestI’d like to do more ways how to add content of your favorite location with video and make it clear. Also more simple courses for people who want professional athletes. And they could do more with the instructional videos explaining..Version: 2.3.1

Love the app!!!Fantastic immersive experience for all riders!!!! Awesome job and keeping everyone in shape!.Version: 2.15.2

Best Cycling App I’ve UsedI’ve been using this cycling app for a couple of years and it is the most realistic one I have used. Using Apple TV and a Wahoo smart train with no issues. Great for rides with friends and races. Good value yearly subscription..Version: 2.8.0

Much more engaging than ZwiftI tried this after suffering too many tech issues with Zwift and it works so much better. It connects to all my devices immediately and automatically and has never let me down. The graphics are also much clearer and better laid out and I can read them without my specs. You get to choose from so many beautiful routes and, because you get to browse and choose each time you use it you can choose new ones or old favourites and see how your training is improving over the same course. It has got me out into the cold garage time after time for training during the lockdown and I couldn’t have done without it. Also it has a family membership so my wife can use the account with her own account unlike Zwift where we had to pay twice for each of us. Cancel Zwift and move to Rouvy, you won’t regret it..Version: 1.3.4

Great platformI’ve been a user of Rouvy for a few years and after a break from cycling I’ve just took a 12 month subscription. I love the new layout and additions that have been made since I last used it. The best things I love are the racing, the vast amount of iconic hill climbs you can do world over… The feeling when on alp or Stelvio of the huge wide roads and isolation that you’d expect, these are present on other “computer games”. I use both. This has always been a firm favourite of mine! Keep up the great work guys!.Version: 2.11.0

As close to real roads that you will get virtually. As my title says, in my opinion Rouvy is as realistic as it gets when it comes to virtually riding real roads. Having been an avid user of Zwift for many years, I gave Rouvy a try 8 months ago and haven’t been on Zwift since. The speeds and gradients are much more closer to IRL and it’s a great platform to do some recon prior to tackling a route for real. My only criticism would be that Rouvy could do with developing Workout Plans. There are lots of workouts but not many that actually cater towards a formal plan. All in all a great training platform that offers variety and good deal for you £€$ 🚴🏼‍♂️👍🏼😀.Version: 2.7.0

Customer Support A+After a self inflicted technical error the ROUVY help desk was very prompt and sorted me out..Version: 2.12.0

Great for realistic ridesPurchased and connected to wahoo kickr KOM trainer. The routes are actual video footage with avatars for you as a rider. I am finding this good for keeping motivated for training and i am searching routes which i would like to do. Very easy to connect and get going. The power reading has changed the way i measure my actual riding! For a non professional i find plenty of routes (famous ones), can join rides and enjoy the experience. I can even chase other users who i can elect to see who are riding same time as me. I do not use this for training or developing training programs. This is purely for substituting when i cannot get out. For this i cannot fault it. It does what it says and does it very well..Version: 2.2.0

Nice one!. . . . .and a developer response too, wow, users need this, don’t like being left in the dark with issues and user problems with interface, glitches etc. Rouvy is very good, and getting better..Version: 1.4.0

RouvyI thoroughly enjoy Rouvy! The app allows me to connect with my smart trainer, the Wahoo Kicker Snap, and ride a variety of courses. Among the different routes, workouts and races it has improved my cycling overall. I am a much stronger cyclist now with Rouvy. It has increased my power and made me a better climber, my biggest weakness. Rouvy tech support has helped me when I needed it. They are always courteous and get the job done. Rouvy continues to improve the overall experience of the app with upgrades. It is a great tool to improve your cycling..Version: 2.11.0

Recovery from surgeryI’ve been using ROUVY intensively for 4 months while recovering from back surgery. I generally find it to be excellent in motivating me to stay on my indoor bike for up to 3 or 4 hours. The rides are well filmed and varied and the collection is vast. There is plenty there for those like myself who are not interested in the competitive aspect that seems to be so popular in these kind of apps. There is plenty of room for improvement but overall I am very pleased..Version: 2.27.0

Close to real worldI have been using Rouvy for more than a year and a half now and find that it has made me a stronger cycler. Other than weather elements, the app and routes have real world feel. It’s nice to be able to ride routes around the world and then make an effort to do some of those same routes irl as I recently did on a trip to Scotland. Keep up the good work and continue to support the route developers that make this all possible..Version: 2.10.0

ROUVY is greatROUVY is awesome and you should really try it. One issue that has come up is the ride results list has lost information. The date the ride was done is fine and so is the ability to search for riders. These were very useful and it is disappointing that in trying to upgrade and update the program many useful features get lost. Please don’t let this continue. Thanks Mark.Version: 2.30.1

Real roads and Real videoI moved over from the Z, attracted by the real videos and haven’t looked back. Why ride Alpe du made up place when you can ride Alped’Huez? Some of the non AR routes are stunning pieces of videography and in AR you feel part of a realistic number of riders. Has helped my winter training no end!.Version: 1.5.1

Has potential but not there yetUpdate: after riding several weeks, adding that I really like the routes, riding through beautiful places I will never get to visit in person. This is now my go-to indoor training app! Tried this as a Zwift alternative. I like the many different route options, the course gradient tracker, and the ghost riders. But the graphics speed on Apple TV were subpar, so jumpy at the margins of the screen that at times making me feel dizzy. Not a network issue and was using 720p and 1080. Anyway, hope they continue to improve as this has a lot of potential..Version: 2.7.0

Great visual training applicationBeen a long term user in previous versions and it’s getting all the time. Wonderful during Covid lockdown to still continue to explore routes!.Version: 2.7.0

Love it, but….This is an amazing indoor cycling app. The sceneries put you in places you might never be able to visit. The interface is easy to use and the routes are seemingly endless. The only complaint that I have is that my ride does not sync with my apple fitness and health apps like Strava does. I hope the developers do something about this in the future as it would be nice if I didn’t have to run the fitness app while I’m doing an epic ride..Version: 3.1.6

Always improvingI have been using Rouvy for 3 years. This app has come along way since then. Adding many new routes and features. Their latest feature of the ghost riders that ride with you has improved the enjoyment of the workout..Version: 2.8.0

Coming alongRouvy AR has gone though a lot of changes and loads of small and consequential improvements. Still not « there » yet to the liking of many but still quite an impressive piece of software to allow us to ride in virtual mode across the planet. Sure it’s quite different from its alternative (Z...), but it’s also quite different. Also involves races for those who want to but mostly allows anyone to ride thousands of runs on their trainers and enjoy sceneries that we can dream about (especially in these COVID times). What I like too : the Rouvy Team keeps on asking us users for feedback and improvement ideas. What a great way to sense where its users’ priorities are. So I recommend using it and keep on participating in Rouvy’s feedback loop..Version: 1.5.1

Brilliant all round trainer with some beautiful real world rides areI’ve used Zwift, Fullgaz and Kinomap - I converted to Rouvy about a year ago and now have become a great fan of the app. I’ve connected with both an interactive trainer and a resistance trainer with sensors on my bike (speed, cadence and heart) There are some brilliant rides on real routes from a huge selection - the real world dimension really makes the training easy and I notice I work harder on those vs straight training programs. It is hard to resist chasing down the digital cyclists they drop in routinely into the landscape. You get good data on screen and the new Rouvy AR gives you more options to change the riding experience. I’ve also used the many straight training options. Though I’ve recently made my own which focussed on the way I wanted to train. I didn’t find that too hard to do after I did a few experiments. I’ve had none of the problems reported on the Rouvy AR ratings. It found and connected to my trainer in about 20 seconds. Logging in was easy - but I already had an account. I find Rouvy great value for money and i enjoy training with it..Version: 0.12.7.

Suits me fineI’ve been using Rouvy for 3 years now and find the convenience of being able to ride with a purpose, whenever I have spare time, ensures I maintain a level of fitness that I just wouldn’t sustain if I just rode on the road. It also means that I can double task and watch a movie while riding a less demanding route and concurrently burn calories. Win, win..Version: 2.7.0

Really enjoy RouvyI’ve been using Rouvy now for nearly 2 years. I find the true life videos FAR SUPERIOR to the Virtual World that Zwift uses which I find simply too busy. I use Rouvy Mostly during the winter and when the weather’s not conducive to riding outside. I like the new format as of Jan 2022 with the “coins” and all. Having other riders on the route is a big motivator for me, either chasing the “carrots” or staying ahead of another rider. Through Rouvy then Strava I’ve “met” riders in other countries and can follow their activities. On Sundays 4 of us will meet up on a chosen route for a group ride. I don’t have Smart TV so I simply display the image on my iPad onto an older wide screen TV. Yeah, there’s a little bit of distortion at the far sides, but that’s a non issue for me..Version: 2.4.0

CanadianI love Rouvy! Been on over a year now and love the real video. I have done some of these rides in real life and I love seeing them again in video as I ride on my trainer. Only feedback I have is to have more workouts not just rides. I have seen Rouvy really evolve over the last year and it has def improved over time. Also a lot of trainers cannot get the crazy elevations that soooo many of Rouvy’s rides have so make sure your trainer can go over 12% incline as Rouvy loves their hills!!!.Version: 2.0.4
