✓ Search bar is horrible to useThe app is fine, but the search bar to find and click on articles is seriously flawed and very frustrating to use, and you then often can’t click on the stories you find for seemingly no reason.Canvas43Version: 3.0

✓ Inews digitalI am rather disappointed that the digital format seems to have changed without any prior notification. Bring a full 6day print subscriber for many years, I understood that this entitled me to a full digital format, which I have also enjoyed for many years. However, although I still get the digital format, it doesn’t allow me to do the puzzles online anymore. ✓ Steering to the right then wheels fell offCan’t help feeling that as we approach the UK general election this news outlet is becoming increasingly critical of Labour. Almost as though it has some sort of hidden agenda. Oh, and my subscription was automatically renewed for another year without any agreement from me. ✓ Unable to log-in with Apple IDI have always enjoyed the i print newspaper, so thought I would give the digital special subscription offer a go. I signed up for the offer with my Apple ID. However, when I try to sign into the app using my Apple ID, I just get an error message: “ invalid_request Invalid web redirect url”.TimleightonVersion: 3.3

✓ Access issues to inewsHowever many times I try changing my password, it still does not meet the approval of the app in it and my email being correct. ✓ Great news - clunky login proceduresI would have rated this App higher if it didn’t keep telling me to login when I already had. And then telling me that I could sign up for £xx when I already paid. And intermittently telling me that my password isn’t valid, even though it is, and it isn’t a typing error because my phone automatically fills out the details, which works sometimes and not at other times. This same problem has continued intermittently since day 1, sometimes refusing to log me in, and at other times it goes straight to the article of choice… you just don’t ever know if luck will be on your side - sometimes to the point of exasperation and not wanting to even bother trying, due to the possible rigmarole. Not one to give in easily, (if there is something I really want to read), I have persisted and when it works, the news, articles and puzzles are great! Definitely worth paying for an annual subscription - but I wish the login was smoother and more reliable..Emjay En.Version: 3.3

✓ No helpI have a subscription but haven’t been able to access the paper for 3 weeks now and I can’t get any help. I’ve phoned the customer help number but it’s always ‘too busy’ and there isn’t an option to hold for an operator. I’ve left messages but no response. ✓ Not impressedI’ve recently taken out a subscription and was initially using the old App. Content was very limited on that. The content on this new App is much wider/better but the layout makes it very difficult to read on my iPad. 2 ‘newspaper’ pages are condensed into the ipad screen meaning that you need to expand it to read. The result is that you can’t see the whole page/articles and are constantly having to move the page around to continue reading. The puzzles on offer are not all of the puzzles on offer in the paper and somehow doing the crossword on line still requires a paper and pencil for my working outs! ✓ IPad Presentation poor1)The iPad version does not use much of the screen available especially in landscape mode. It looks just like the iPhone screen transposed to the iPad - narrow and unappealing. 2) There does not seem to be anyway of working out what is todays news and what is historic. Also the same articles seem to appear under a number of different “tabs” which can be overwhelming. This desperately needs resolving as at present it gives the impression of being chaotic. ✓ Black Friday not workingPurchased the Black Friday deal following the link in the iNews app. I am afraid to say it doesn’t work on this app and only allows you to view the paper through a web browser. I feel totally ripped off, £24 down the drain. To make it worse you have to jump through hoops to cancel the continuing yearly subscription. ✓ Love the paper, hate the appIm a print subscriber. I love reading the i - it is by far and away my favourite print paper. But the app is woeful and seriously lags behind the competition. When I don’t have access to a paper copy, I am loathe to use the app. It feels like stepping back into 2012. Whereas the website feels slick and modern. ✓ Dreadful appThis is an updated app and it is truly dreadful. It’s clunky, doesn’t always deliver the latest edition and is less easy to use.
