Neo-Soul Keys® Studio 2 for Positive User Reviews

The Best Just Got BetterBy far, this is the best EP simulator in the App Store. Previously that title belonged to NSK 1. This upgraded version takes things into hyperdrive. I love the ability to stack patches and presets to create gorgeous new textures, and the vast improvements to the effects section! Also, it’s really cool how this iteration of NSK contains homages to familiar keyboard sounds used by great Neo-Soul figures like the singer, D’Angelo and the producer, J Dilla. Speaking of sounds? Fantastic. Full, rich, lush, elegant, detailed, creamy, sweet- those adjectives come to mind. I’m gonna be using this app and Pure Synth for a live tv taping with a music ensemble in the morning and will also be using it to do recording in Cubasis later this week. Outstanding work, Jamal. Keep up the great work!.Version: 2.0.0

AwesomeNice sounds.Version: 2.0.0

Great ProductBest sounds I’ve found out there and stellar support to boot !.Version: 2.2.2

The app was great up until an update. The app definitely tweeks a bit but its cool..Version: 2.1.13

Last Update A+++Thank You Sooo much for last update. I hav all your IOS apps plus motif flash. I hav a new iPhone with memory upgrades. But my iPad lacked memory. So now I can hav all my gospel musicians app fully loaded on one device!!!.Version: 2.1.5

Can No Longer Download Individual InstrumentsThis is a big problem! App was fine when Individual instruments could be loaded. Now it forces user to download the complete 4 GB file. Due to RAM limitations, This makes this app useless on 5 of my devices. Thankfully I did at least get the wurly installed on my old iPhone 6s before tragedy struck. Love that wurly! It alone was worth the price, but I’d like to use it on my other devices too! Please fix this. It was a really great app, but now I can’t install it on any of my 3 iPads..Version: 2.2.2

Absolutely stunningI’m running this with an iPad Pro and a notation launkchey mk3. I’ve been able to customize an effects rack to have full touch control on top of having my favorite sound ever. This instrument is so inspiring I now play every day! Thank you! The sound quality is so stunning I literally forget that I’m not playing the real thing, it is so so sweet and responsive. If you’re at all on the fence about this, trust me, it is worth it. Thanks for an amazing collection of instruments!.Version: 2.1.13

Best (Rhodes EP) sounds; app is perfect!Beautiful versions of Rhodes (and other) EP’s. Very easy-to-use for this non tech-savvy guy. Abundance of awesome-sounding presets ready-to-play. Simple to SAVE FAVOURITES. Real support (if needed)..Version: 2.1.3

KillerThis is a killer app. Buy with confidence. Ipad air 2 is giving me 1.3 ms latency. Try that with a laptop... Can confirm it works well with studiologic sl73..Version: 2.1.13

Superior product, helpful support teams that are passionate. This app is better than IK and any other sampler applications I’ve used on IOS, the reason the files are large is because you can’t get quality and dynamics with highly compressed audio. Audio files are not clown cars. The support I received when I had issues was clear and precise, once I’d properly explained the issue I had. They’re clearly passionate about their product but, like with anything, to make it better requires the funds and better reviews. Happy to share my good experiences with this app. I will suggest it to anyone I know using IOS that want more polished and professional recordings, even just for inspiration whilst recording demos..Version: 2.2.2

Comparable to Top of the Line Hardware Romplers…Like the Roland Integra, Yamaha Motif/Montage, Korg Kronos, etc!.Version: 2.1.13

Sounds absolutely incredibleWhoever wrote “sounds slightly boring” is either a troll or had no idea what he/she was purchasing. NSK2 is by far the best collector of classic EPs on iOS. If you are a fan of Rhodes, Wurlis, CPs, etc you need this. If you want something like MKSensation then get Pure Synth Platinum. Or wait for the new version of MKS which is apparently in the works..Version: 2.1.5

Wow!I was very skeptical at first , but wow just wow! This really sounds like the real deal , you managed to amp them to perfection ma man . I like your 24 dl product better than the EP sounds on my 3K DLS NORD ELECTRO. I AM TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY! Congratulations this is the first software EP I have ever truly liked and I have just about all of them, including the best Scarbee collection. Jamal, I almost never wright reviews because I am too picky and I rather not hurt the developers. In this case is different. Once again congrats , what you did is not easy. Ps. I also live in FL ..let’s jam one day !.Version: 2.1.13

The best electric pianos for iOSIt sounds great.Version: 2.1.5

Mark 7 - Best Yet!NKS2 is already the best Electric Piano app! And the new Rhodes Mark 7 expansion just hit it out of the park. Smooth & even under my hands, with lots of dynamic range. Seems like more active controls & effects than ever. Well done!!.Version: 2.1.13

If you are reading this you need this app. When you buy it you'll be up all night jamming. I have lots of music apps but I use this app almost every day for a couple of year now..Version: 2.1.23

DeliciousIt just doesn’t get any tastier than this for EPs on the iPad. Has everything you need to get those classic sounds and way beyond. Speaking of classics: any chance MIDIculous will be developing a B3/organ app?.Version: 2.0.0

Wow!This app is the most detailed electric piano simulation available. I’ve owned several Rhodes and a Wurlitzer 200A and a CP-70 and they have nailed the sound of these instruments. I have had the most success using it with my iPhone 12 mini running iOS 14. I have also used the iPad OS version on my iPad Pro(original 9.7”) with an external SSD. It has an older processor and seems to be a little slower loading sounds than the iPhone 12 Mini. It’s still awesome but requires a more detailed setup. I use a Puc+ connected to my Casio PX S3000 to send the wireless midi to the iPhone 12 Mini. You can also edit all the presets to your heart’s desire. I mean every little detail of the sound is editable and mixable. Honestly though, I can’t think of any presets I would want to change. If you have the storage space available on your iPhone and you want the best recreation of these electromechanical instruments than this is the app to get. One last thing. You don’t have to load all of the available sounds if you don’t want to. You can also store presets in the cloud and use the Apple Files app to save storage space. 🙂.Version: 2.1.13

Terrific ProductI’ve enjoyed the detailed focus on sound design. One of the best apps for covering electric pianos hands down. Just one question, are owners of the iPad app able to download the recently released unified app for iPhone without charge? In the App Store on iPhone, the app is not showing under purchased tab and when searched, displays purchase price. I’ve seen this behavior on other universal apps and when downloading the iPhone version even though there is a displayed cost, when the download is processed, ends up being no cost..Version: 2.1.5

Neo-Soul keys studio 2 reviewYes it’s a huge app. Yes you will get the best bang for your buck with an iPad Pro vs an older or regular iPad. I’d rather this than the others out there that offer less for more and you better believe that if you want quality you need the iPad Pro for ultimate results. This beats investing in expensive and HEAVY classic / vintage electric pianos any day. Ikmultimedia was a disappointment with their confusing registering, in app purchases, and disappearing in app purchases I constantly had to download over and over again over WiFi. Getting support help/ response from ikmultimedia about the said glitches was also frustrating. I highly recommend his app..Version: 2.0.0
