✓ Fun gameI have been playing this game for almost two years. I was having fun killing some time. But the most recent update Smuggling Dock really drives the players crazy. Initially it was fun snatching gems, gold and oil to upgrade. But eventually it was no fun at all! Whenever you explore cargo in your dock, a bunch of people will come to your dock out of nowhere and snatch everything! I don’t feel like this type of game is fun at all when you gets angry, frustrated after all. I hope there will be some update to improve the nature of the game. For e.g. you should have some power to prevent other people from snatching the things you’re carrying in your own dock! Because of this update, I am so frustrated and wanted to even delete my account and restart everything again!.Version: 7.1.0
✓ Good game… big problemsThe game itself is great, and it seems as though the devs put a lot of work into making it enjoyable with the new events and missions… however, what isn’t so enjoyable is the in-app purchases and subscriptions, specifically the mafia club membership. I chose to pay $5 a month for it and I don’t necessarily regret that, but if I’m paying to remove ads from the game, that should apply to ALL my devices, which it does not. I have a tablet that I would like to play a separate game on, but because of this issue, I can’t play it ad free. Honestly, if I had to buy the membership again for another device, that would be one thing, but as of right now it is impossible to have two of the same subscriptions on your Apple ID, so I couldn’t even if I wanted to. For $5 a month, it should at least be POSSIBLE to have a subscription on multiple devices, whether it costs extra or not, but because it is not even an option, I feel as though the “subscription” is a pointless money grab. (Not to mention the shop purchases that go up to $100 just for some in-game gems).Version: 3.7.0
✓ Great GameEasy fast flowing game which is super simple to pick up. Regularly sit for a couple of hours playing the game and doing the daily challenges. Biggest low ping is that it’s cash consuming to achieve higher levels. During the early levels it’s quite easy to level up your capos, however the higher you go (I’m level 32) it takes ages to level up your capos so they can auto collect cash. Close to deletion of the application but will continue for a short while..Version: 5.0.0

✓ Agree with other reviewsBig fan of idle games, big fan of this one - initially. Took until stage 24 for me, but now can’t enjoy anything about the game until the levelling up issue is sorted. Am at a point where I either need to start spending money or quit as the fun goes out of this completely once your capos hit level 180 and it becomes Impossible to level them up, progress any further or collect money any way other than one disengaging tap at a time. ✓ Great game but....As other reviews state, great unique idle game until rank 22 when everything you have built comes to a stand still. Your capos arent a high enough level to leave it idle, you have to be online to cash in, challenges such as spend cigars are useless as all of your capos are maxed and it will take approx 3-4 weeks to log in every 2 HOURS to get your free capo to exchange them for a legendary in the hope its the one you need to get 3 stars. ✓ It’s had it’s dayThis used to be a great game but with the recent update v7.0 they have killed it. The top spenders are now so far in front it’s impossible to catch them or compete. Even spending big will not help as you now need to collect resources daily which the powerful players just take off you, so you remain weak while they continue to get stronger. The required to spend has increased over time and now isn’t an idle game as you need to be active for hours everyday to not fall behind. I can only recommend avoiding this game now and looking elsewhere, this game has had its day!.Version: 7.0.0
✓ Not getting double idle cash for watching Ads...Edit 2: Just noticed Im not receiving my double idle chips/cash for watching the Ads.. Effectively giving them money for nothing at all. Honestly, I’m convinced this game has fake reviews. In the short time I’ve been playing, the game hasn’t been that fun. Edit: After playing a couple Vegas events, I’ve noticed while playing the roulette wheel, it’s almost impossible to win any of the better prizes. There’s a total of 8 prizes, yet after buying coins in both events and spinning the wheel possibly over 200 times, I have maybe 5 times hit the better 4 prizes. It’s clearly rigged for you to buy more and keep spinning. The odds must be absolutely ludicrous. It’s not even fun. Definitely looking for a better idle game to play. ———————————————————————I decided to purchase the $2.99 “starter pack” because it was said to offer and “Max Level” mafia member.... of course when I finally decided to purchase the pack, the mafia member you get is not fully upgraded at all. ✓ This game started out great… but then…This game started out great, collecting, advancing, winning battles. I’m at level 27 and can’t advance. You gather keys, which you use to get “capos”( your mafia). You do things to upgrade them so they carry you through gun battles and work your “businesses” and you upgrade those with as collected. You are forced to use a certain group of capos in your businesses. If your capos aren’t a certain level you have to manually collect the money by hitting the $ button, capos that are high enough level continually accrue money automatically. My current game has 4 out of eight of the “ manual” capos. I have collected over 600 capos that are supposed to be used to upgrade your capos, problem is you HAVE TO HAVE certain SPECIAL capos in addition to be able to upgrade… those very rarely ever come. One would think with 600 you’d be able to do something… anyways, it’s fun when you start, but it doesn’t last...Version: 3.9.0

✓ Pay to win to the extremeI used to love this game. I’m still playing it. The long and short of it was they used to balance how much you could pay to win FS many free different ways of playing. Weekday events were based on fun, but have since turned in to pay walls to be progressive. Developers - please balance they way you used to when the game was fun. Pay on the weekends fine, but let the week days be based on just having fun with the game and not dumping diamonds. I am a subscriber still and have been for a while - but my patience and many others are running out. I am in the jessy James gang North America. It’s one of the more elite teams. ✓ You wrecked the gameI used to love this game. It was one of my favourites. However I have just endured the week long Fort Tilden event that was utterly boring and impossible to get all the milestones despite sitting on it all week. I used to like the weekend events which are all a lot harder than they used to be. Now I feel so very disheartened that I worked so very hard and ended up without getting what I needed. I don’t want to play another week long event except the developers are forcing us to. I liked the new smuggling except even that had been done badly. It’s all based on your main game street level so once you have reached that limit you are stuck. Now you can only play it 4 days a week which is not fair. They have taken our money fraudulently because they are not honouring what we paid for with the dock permit. Also they change things based on what a couple of thousand people on discord want not the 30 million players they do have. There are so many complaints from people on Facebook about what the developers have done to the game yet the developers aren’t on Facebook. I wonder why. They have taken what used to be a fun game and changed it into a money making scheme. I certainly wont be playing fort torture again. That mythical capo is pointless. They have just introduced some new games (dock) which is so bug filled it’s causing the game to crash continuously. ✓ I like the game but…I’ve been playing for a while now, and I do like the game. I guess you could say I’m a regular. Why is it so hard to earn loot such as gaining more capos? When you reach around rank 23-25, game drastically slows down and your forced to invest money into the game because you can’t upgrade legendary capos anymore and it’s just too tough to even come across legendary shards or legendary capos. What if you don’t have the money to invest in the game? I understand the game needs to stay afloat and what not. However you come into the game and earn legendary capos at a rapid pace then get shut down and have to start spending money. I feel like the only thing that should be difficult to earn is the mythical capos, but even at that there should be more of those shards and we should certainly see a lot more earning of legendary capos, legendary capo cards, and legendary capo shards as they are in the game from the very beginning. If people don’t want to spend money on the game and or don’t have said money, then you’ll lose that percentage of players because you win and level up so quick then get slapped with disappointment when you can’t level up anymore because you don’t come across the things you need to do so. ✓ Greedy gameIdle mafia is a great game till u reach level 12, then it takes toooo long to upgrade ur capos unless u pay more than expected. Unfortunately I payed £4.99 then payed to level up my capos but was scammed and got purple capos when I needed gold capos to upgrade my capos. This game is greedy and won’t give u what u need. Payed to get the same capo I needed but got shards that I needed to buy more to get a capo. My advice is to play till level 12 then delete the game, as I am doing right now. I sent in a ticket while in game and this is their answer to me. “we understand where you are coming from and please note that most of the issues encountered in the docks has been addressed and fixed in the latest update. If in case you are still having issues with the game, please contact us and provide at least a video so we can forward it to our team for further investigation so we address them as well. We are hoping for your kind understanding regarding this matter.” Yes they fixed the crashes as far as I am concerned, but not the cheating that is happening because of their coding. ✓ Definitely not a free to play game if you want good rankingsGreat game not great if you want to do great in ranking for better prizes in events where the better ranks get better prizes. That pretty much means: the earlier you wake up, the more time you put into it, the more in game diamonds, and probably above all, the real life money💰 💵 💴 you put into the game that is only on that game, on that server, on that device. There are high cost “idle mafia game packages“ that you could buy, but to me, every package that costs you real life money 💰 💴 💵, is costly enough for me to not buy it. ✓ Fun but get your Credit Card readyThis game is great when you first start off. The ability to level up at first is nice and it keeps you interested. It isn’t until you get to the higher levels that you really see that you do have to idle to play the game, not because you want to, but because you aren’t able to enjoy the game as much as in the beginning unless you buy multiple memberships. The game has a variety of mini games but they each have a premium membership you can buy to really get the most out of the game. Every week and every few days a new mini game is introduced and are expected to pay $10 to continue to level up. The number of ads has become insane and once you reach the legendary capos, it becomes pay to play or you stagnate and can’t progress anymore. Also, you can’t remove ads without paying a ridiculously overpriced SUBSCRIPTION. In the latest event, for example: even a small boost requires numerous ads PER HOUR. In the actual game, I can no longer automate anything or proceed because I need 4 specific legendary capos to evolve just 1 capo, and the safes only give out one legendary capo a for every 50 or so safes I open. ✓ Collecting-based gameSilly & time consuming but gets you hooked. You collecting cash generated by businesses. You apply a gangster to manage so collection is automatic. Only legendary capos are worth having and upgrading. Game is eventually repetitive but highly addictive - sometimes I just asked myself WHY I’m even playing… ?) Nice and colourful animation and fun side tasks to keep you occupied. There is no depth in storyline. On high level it’s super-slow to be get next star on to your capo (card with your gangster employee) so game doesn’t generate cash automatically making it impossible to progress. Even paying money wouldn’t change anything as it would take 1000s of £, dollars , euros or whatever currency to get like 5 duplicates of legendary cards (characters needed to star up) Game should give more chance of getting capos that are needed - that’s why only 3 stars..Version: 4.0.0

✓ Too buggy to playI really like the game apart from two issues: First, every time you watch an ad (to get 2x money, or to catch the money van, etc) there’s a 90% chance the game will hang at the end of it and you have to un-background it and lose whatever it was you were trying for in order to carry on playing. Especially if you get the main, Idle Heroes ad, it’s almost impossible to carry on playing. Second, adding stars to the capos is far too slow; I haven’t been able to get the automatic money generator on any business for four entire streets now because all my legendary capos are maxed out on two stars and the auto level is 201 - I can only get to 180, and there’s nothing I can do about it. I eagerly seek out the gear that lets you reduce that level, but nothing goes high enough and even then I have to mess around swapping the gear out every time I want to fight because even a massive difference in levels is not enough to win. I don’t mind waiting to add stars to the capos, but to get to the point where you can’t level them up and they’re too low to fight and too low to run the businesses just means that the “idle” part of the game is completely gone. ✓ Once fun but horrible customer serviceI actually enjoy this game but unfortunately it is not run well and there are problems with getting things you’ve earned or having diamonds that you’ve saved up just disappear. A few weeks ago I worked hard to complete a mission and it should have rewarded me a very valuable capo. I never got it but I did get an email saying, sorry about that, here’s 10 free keys. Well the keys are not a guarantee to get the capo I should have just been given. Also anytime you have issues, you contact support and they act like you’re trying to scam them. Like really? I just argued with support over 1000 diamonds that have disappeared from my vault. They say I spent them. I assure you I did not. Since they say I spent them though, that’s the end of it. I’ve been playing for around 10 months now and have noticed the events of late have turned into a massive money grab with the most recent one (money talks) wanting to charge $46 for extra perks. What an absolute joke considering this was an old event that the developer removed and redesigned to encourage people to spend money whereas it was fully completable and fun before. ✓ Horrible community and non-existent supportMost people who play mobile games such as this stick around for the community. If that’s what you’re into, don’t bother looking here. They have a horribly designed discord server with unprofessional moderators who play favorites and go on power trips, banning people for no good reason. This wouldn’t be such a problem if they didn’t gatekeep game content in this discord server. You can actually get in-game rewards from logging in there daily. Support is useless. You’ll just be speaking to a bot who apologizes over and over but says they can’t do anything to fix your problem. The in-game support says to contact them with any issues regarding discord moderation, but then responds to you that they can’t interfere with discord moderation. PS: I can guarantee that the support bot is gonna respond to this to apologize and tell me to contact the discord mods (which I have already done, repeatedly), and I can’t message mod mail to request the game account be unbound from my discord because the bot won’t accept messages from someone not in the server and I am banned from said server. In game support suggested to make an alt and try from there but the bot won’t assist you unless it’s the discord you already bound with the game. Terrible way to run a company. More than half of all players have quit in the past 9-12 months. All greedy. They don’t listen to or care about players. Devs blame players for their mistakes and issues. Even though they have beta- rarely used and even when it is used- bugs are not fixed before live rollout and they don’t care about what the majority of players think. It’s so bad the last while- some think they are trying to nuke it. It was one of the best games going. Not idle at all. Customer Svc completely useless; they just stall, or outright lie. Even their discord mods are constantly complaining for all to see and yet nothing is ever fixed or listened to. They just keep rolling out more money grabs with all the old bugs and glitches; and then we get more bugs and glitches. Lags are horrific too. ✓ Love the Game, But Not the Latest EventsI have been playing for a little over three months now, and have enjoyed the game enough to subscribe to the $5 monthly membership. I enjoy the grind, the gang activities, and seeing my power levels rise relatively quickly, and I always look forward to the weekend and weekly events. The weekend events can get pretty time intensive, but the weekly events are usually pretty fun, change things up a bit, and are over without too much sustained attention throughout the week. One of the things I like about this game is I don’t have to be on the game constantly to achieve peak progress and can focus on work, my family, and other leisure activities while still feeling like a relatively top-performing player. Lately, however, the events (two of the last weekly events and the next scheduled one) have been bad spin-offs of the weekend events. You cannot achieve even all of the standard rewards without spending diamonds or $$$ on them (normally premium rewards are available for a cost), even with the membership. Normally there is no problem getting all the standard rewards, but these new events are time-intensive during the week and require microtransactions to complete. This is a severe detriment to my game experience. This review would return to a 5 star review if traditionally weekend events are not used in place of the weekly events..Version: 4.7.0

✓ Was Great at the start…Go back a year and this game was amazing. You didn’t mind spending a little to level up as it was worth it. But now a year later and basically if you don’t want to play to win don’t install. The game is aiming at in-game purchases so much it’s impossible to rank up at an okay level anymore or even complete most week or weekend events. I’ve had the 5-a-month subscription for a year or so but going to stop as even that’s not enough anymore! ✓ The best game I have ever played until level 22This is by far the best game I have ever played and that’s very easy for me to say. The game flows fantastically and there is always a target to get to. Until level 22-23 and all reviews that knock this game are true unfortunately the updates are good. The only down side is it crashes like mad all the time and I’m on a new iPhone so there should be no reason for it to do this. I would defo spend money on this app if it wasn’t for the fact I’m never sure if it going to load and play right. I haven’t had a single game that hasn’t crashed on me yet. ✓ Great with issuesThis game is quite a fun and entertaining game. It’s a great game to play. But it is very much pay to win or spend an enormous amount of time grinding. Some of the prices are reasonable and they have quite a lot of events to earn in game things quite often. However these events are difficult to get a lot of items through unless you pay more money. ✓ Not Bad, Not Great, Makes a Terrific HandwarmerAs a mafia aficionado, I decided to give this game a go. I’ve played a crap ton of idle games, even though I never understand why because they’re typically super boring, repetitive, and just ridiculous — I guess that’s their appeal, though. Anyways, this is one of my favorites so far. That said, it’s jot without its issue. For one, after so long, you’re almost forced to spend a lot of money. I didn’t care at first. I figured since they made an actually alright game, what the hay. But now I’m pretty much completely stuck; I have all of my legendary capos as maxed as I can get, yet not a single one is high enough to activate the auto collection... so much for “get rich while you sleep.” I’ve probably sunk about $30 into this, which, again, is fine, but I’m done putting money into a game that forces you like this. Another HUGE issue I have is the fact that this game makes my phone hot enough to fry eggs on. Just a moment ago, during the new missions they added, my app crashed because my phone got so hot. More and more of the events have been made too hard to complete, or end in the top 50, without spending money. ✓ It’s ok at firstOverall it’s your typical idle game that starts fun but eventually you will have to pay to win or have any type of fun at some point. The game is pretty easy however, once you progress so far it doesn’t matter what level your Capos are the “auto” feature which lets them keep getting cash for you while you’re away raises which means you have to upgrade them. Which in turn you have to spend on average 20-40 dollars to get a pack to unlock the safes to get upgrades. Even the side missions are meant for you to pay to win. It’s not a bad game up until you hit level 35-40 that’s when it gets to the point you can either sit on the same level for 3 weeks or pay real money to upgrade to move on to an even harder level which guess what means that’s right spend more money. I have had the game for 6months or so and will be uninstalling it I have played up to where I’m aggravated enough that it’s the same thing day in and day out..Version: 2.7.0
✓ UnhappyI use to enjoy this game. Even started doing the monthly subscription. But for the past 5 months, 4-5 days after my money is taken for the subscription, it stops working. That means ads are needed for me to do anything. I always contact support who asks me to send over the same info everytime even though a precious support agent would tell me all they need is my player ID and they can see if it is active or not. And it always takes 15 screenshots of things and back and forth messages for a week before it is resolved and by then I have missed several events and mini things. I keep saying it’s only 4.99 so no sense tripping about it but when a company keeps taking your money and you not getting what you paid for, it tends to get irritating. ✓ Free to Play players avoidThe game is good, don’t get me wrong. However, it feels like they REALLY want your money. The balancing feels stacked against you as every level requires you to have your characters (Capos) leveled up to a certain benchmark in order to make an income. The problem lies in the fact that the upgrading currency (cigars) is slow to build up, and the only way to hurry it is to use premium (real money) to hasten to pace. There is no way to watch ads for premium currency, and the ads that give you cigars do not load. This issue with cigar ads has been addressed by the developers, but has not been fixed with the new update. Even if you do have some of the free premium currency from completing missions, the cost of using it always leaves you in the negative, especially when the cost of using premium currency increases each time you use it. If you aren’t interested in putting in tons of money, especially after they make money from ads, don’t bother downloading. In addition, the game often lags, freezes, or completely kicks you after about 3-5 minutes of playing. Another issue that was not fixed after the recent update. ✓ Ceases to be a Idle game at rank 23Good game in general with some unique features for an idle game. However once you get to rank 23 the fun stops. The amount of legendary capos to upgrade to purple star 3 is totally ridiculous and out of proportion to the number required for the previous upgrade. For purple star 2 upgrade you need one legendary capo of the same type. For purple star 3 you require 6 legendary capos of varying type. So due to the amount of capos required to upgrade to purple level 3 at Rank 23 there is only one automated collection available, so you have to be online to collect the money from your business, so ceases to be a idle game. ✓ Probably the best idle gameHonestly there’s lots of idle games and there’s also a lot of reviews on here that look fake so I wanted to give my honest opinion and my opinion doesn’t need the 5 stars they can handle one review that doesn’t highlight all 5 stars. The game is really good. No intrusive ads popping up you have the option to not watch ads at all. However what is intrusive is they ask you persistently if you want to turn on notifications and if you hit no it will continue to bring up the message it’s really annoying. They also are pretty persistent on holding you back if you are going too fast and entice you with buying stuff but all their in game purchases are way too over priced anyways. It’s just a fun game you progress pretty quickly and there’s lots of mini games and side things you can do. I went to the support page and found no entry reflecting my issue. I had about 50 safes to open, and other top tier prizes (completing the Pachinko game in the top 20) several legendary capos at the purple star level as well as on the way to acquiring the female mythical capo. I get up, I log onto the game, then I logged out to go do something else for an hour while I was waiting for the event to end. When I went to log back on, a message popped up saying they’ve detected “suspicious abnormalities” with my account and I’m banned. I’ve payed a monthly subscription since I started playing this game. I’m a nearly 40 year old woman, not some hormonal 17 year old boy living in his moms basement trying to impress his friends. I have no incentive to cheat. My credit card is linked to this game, so if they are having trouble with their servers being hacked or something, my personal information and privacy has been breached. They are telling me I have to reset my level 109 character back to level 1 in order to continue playing. That means I lose all the in app purchases I’ve made to advance my character in a fair way. This is an unacceptable and shady business practice unless they refund all my money I’ve invested since I started playing. ✓ Game has flawsI absolutely love this game. However I will be contacting apple for my money back A.S.A.P. So I have spent money (real money) on this game via in app purchases. And I am upset because I noticed through certain task and missions that I wasn’t getting all of my keys. So I made sure that I counted how many keys I am supposed to get for certain task and how many keys I already had before I wrote to the operators through the game. It’s felt as if they were harassing me on purpose… and it took a lot (including them proving my point) that they did owe me keys. I stated that I would contact apple if I didn’t hear back from them in 48 hours but waited longer anyways. So I have proof that the game has flaws and bugs. I was able to automate a building with a capo who’s level was lower that what was required and took a screenshot (glad I did) because I just finished my bounty quest and guess what?? No keys!! ✓ Thieves and fraudstersThis game used to be good but now you have to spend 100’s of dollars to even compete a month. I had a team with 8.7 Million power and was regularly beaten by players with 4.3 million power, that is physically impossible. I actually talked to one of these players who told me he spent $500+ a month on the game, this is a pay to play game as there is no win. This player actually told me that he regularly beats players and the more he spends the higher the level of the players he beats. It is almost impossible to upgrade your players beyond 5 orange stars without spending massive sums every month, I am not interested in these fraudsters replying to this review, they need to turn themselves in to the police for massive fraud they are commiting against Americans.
