✓ I would say... meh, don’t bother.Not a great game. Gets very repetitive very quickly, no real challenge or strategy involved. The constant ads you have to watch to really progress make this a really un-enjoyable game. Don’t bother..Version: 1.8.8
✓ Game has gone downhill and over a cliffThe latest updates which were touted by the developers as game changing indeed were. Unfortunately, they completely broke the game mechanics. I wish I was more surprised that this was a one off occurrence, but this is just another example of poor communication and execution by this development team. One has to wonder if the software is tested at all based on the numerous issues that are introduced each “fix”. I’m extremely close to being done with this game based on the track record of this company which has little care or respect for their customers who have supported them for years. Everyone who has invested their time and money into this game should stop doing so until a wholesale change is made. ✓ Its decentI do really like this game, but after level 300 something, everything feels slow. it takes hour upon hours (by this i mean literally 24 hours at a time to get 1 thing) to get any special units and if you want any, you have to spend actually money or wait a ridiculous amount of time for something you will have to probably wait another 24 hour period for. concept of the game is pretty good, but another problem ive had is the daily challenges for dueling. you only have 20 tries and afterwards you have to spend your gems. but if you have no gems or no tries, you can just gradually watch your trophies go down while you cant do anything about it. campaign rewards the same stuff you get back at level 50. its a good game it just seriously needs improvement and variety. if you want to make a better game, dont make it revolving around pay to win. oh and another thing the VIP thing is a straight scam..Version: 1.8.8
✓ DisappointingThis is a game made to make you spend money and even then ,they will keep you spending , they will pair you up with way stronger armies and you have no chance of winning so you either spend money or quit playing not to mention the game crashes at least twice a day , and half the time it happens right when you are about to collect gems or coins , and when you reopen the game the stuff you were about to collect is gone . THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS with the "HUNTING MEDALS " after spending money and playing a bunch, your soldier and armies can only be upgraded to level 8th after level 8th they start requiring a number of "HUNTING MEDALS " for each upgrade, and the number of hunting medals that the game provides is ridiculously Low . you can only get very few a day , and they require thousands of hunting medals for each upgrade . Now most of my army is stuck on level 8th because is almost impossible to get those darn Hunting Medals , well not impossible but they give you so few a day , that it will take forever to upgrade just a few soldiers to level 9. Now , i might just stop playing all together and delete this app , unless the developers do something to solve these issues , and make the hunting medals more accessible and increase the number of hunting medals we can get every day ...Version: 4.0.0

✓ Fun concept poorly executedReally liked he idea and look of this game, but it becomes clear through playing that these guys have no idea how to make a strategy game. Generals ruin the gameplay, I found myself removing mine, just because otherwise there is legitimately no challenge- the troops fight by swirling around so it soon becomes a mess, and bomb throwers move people around so much that any positioning is useless. Sad thing is I’m actually addicted to this game- really wanted it to be good, but I guess il have to keep looking for a mobile strategy game that isn’t garbage to play, or riddled with ads and base customisation. Props to these guys though- it’s clear they don’t treat their players like garbage- just wish gameplay was better.Version: 1.4.1
✓ Needs workGames not bad but really repetitive, I’m level 286 and not lost a battle, Chests take too long to unlock I’ve currently got 9 Hero chests and 5 troop chests stacked up, Think you really need to bring in boss levels and some battles where you can only use certain troop types and certain number of troops to mix it up and make it a challenge, I watch an ad after every win to max the coins think that might be why I’m finding the game easy due to my high level troops.Version: 1.2.2

✓ Inconsistent methodsThe game is very inconsistent with respect to how troops fair against other troops and how armies fair against other armies. There is no real methodology behind it. It’s as if someone gave a bunch of children instructions on how to create the game but because their children, they have no idea how to consistently apply the powers and abilities of troops and heroes so that a predictable outcome is available. ✓ Decent Game, but becomes extraordinarily boringThe game is extremely monotonous and the game play quite boring. I honestly couldn’t tell the difference between levels 200, 500 and 1000. It’s all the same with absolutely no change in strategy required. Line your guys up and hit fight. If you’ve been allocating resources coherently, your team will blow through the enemy in 10 seconds or less. Over and over with no change. There are some pvp modes which feel like more of the same. Expedition is fun and challenging, but there aren’t nearly as many of those levels. Similarly with honour hunting. These alternate modes also have very little bearing on your game progression. Game progression is slow if you don’t pay, but it’s not clear what you get if you do. The game doesn’t change and you still kill the baddies easily. And the options are stupidly expensive. You could easily spend hundreds or thousands on this game for literally no real benefit or change in game play..Version: 5.1.2
✓ BoringWas it so hard to make an actual strategy game with various heights and bottlenecks etc like the actual advert for the game shows? There is no strategy involved in this at all. Armoured units at the front, ranged at the back. Bombers move people around so much that the little positioning you can do is pointless once it starts anyway. As you get stronger, so do the enemies, so your growing strength is just an illusion. The only people who will like this are the types who like ‘idle’ games. I was addicted for the first 60 levels until it dawned on me how repetitive it had gotten. I powered through to leve 110 in case it changed, but to no avail. Potential, but poorly executed. This game has many bugs; updates are nearly always badly developed with virtually no testing and if you complain (even politely) they ban you from all communication channels. If you ask them questions politely and privately they simply ignore you. ✓ This is a pay to play game, don’t download itThis game is the ultimate pay to play game. You gain power at a decent rate up to a point, then you can’t go any farther without paying through the nose. On top of that, there are many competitions that you can only take part in if you are at a certain power level. So those that pay, get rewarded even more. All of those positive reviews have to be fake reviews, there is no way this game is a 4.6 out of 5. I know that my previous review was never posted (spent over an hour looking through all of the reviews). As for the game play, it is bad. There is really no strategy to the game, just buy your way to power and then push the auto play. If I could, I would give this game negative stars. ✓ Worst Game I’ve PlayedIf you love pressing five buttons then merging stuff then pressing five buttons again this game is for you. The constant crashes were the best part of this game as it was a change from the monotony. “But what about the other modes?” You ask. A great question! ✓ Great game, gems are too expensiveThe game is great, and feels endless with how hard the levels get. But I feel I am stuck. All of my troops are max level although I lack gold Troops because of gems. The game offers lots of chances to get gems but not enough for leveling up a hero and getting level 8 gold troops. I would be willing to buy gems because I do really enjoy the game and understand the cost that can go into these things, but the price of the gems is far too high. 28,000 gems for $100 only then 14,000 gems for $100 every time after. Where 24,000 gems will only buy you 4 gold hero shards meaning $200 will level up your hero from a level 3 to 4. Davison is great for campaign and the only way I seem to be able to get through it so I’m saving all of my free gems to level him up when his shards become available but it gems were sold for say 20,000 for $5 or $10. I would be much more inclined to spend that say once a month..Version: 2.9.3
✓ Troop glitchThis game was pretty awesome until yesterday 3/4/20 for me. Didn't need to do any in-game purchases and had a pretty strong army. Once I noticed I can start creating level 8s is when it got weird.. I noticed my army was not doing as much damage during the current event and I can't even get pass my current level at 1632.. I would log on and see troop spots empty. Thankfully I would take screenshots of my troops positioning so I can revert to it after switching them up for the current dragon event. I noticed a lot of my troops have vanished, I decided to recall all of them to the barracks just to get a better picture of what troops I had. I'm absolutely missing a handful of my level 7s which makes sense to why I was having such easy time clearing levels just a day ago to being stuck on my current level. ✓ Scam despite what devs sayAfter playing the game for 6+ months I can say that despite what the devs say they will quietly nerf heroes, that their objective is to create a system by which the games you play for gain are rigged entirely against the player. The concept of the game is good it’s just another tragic story of a company that simply can’t get past scamming their own players. People quit this game all the time once they realize it’s a scam. I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to not get this game and play it with the intention of getting anywhere with skill alone in any reasonable time frame. I spent very little mostly just the monthly VIP pass and ended up finishing mid 3000 range in pvp every season. It takes hours to find opponents I can beat because as your army levels up they force you into fights with players who have spent 1000$s of dollars and the possibility of losing is so great it just isn’t fun anymore. You can spend 10s of 1000s of gems which take weeks to slowly build up and not get a single serious gain for your army. I would rate this a -10 if I could it’s simply a greedy company and the devs spend so much time on these reviews lying to the people who submit them, if they would simply stop trying to deceive customers and make a consistent realistic fun game they would make a fortune on subscriptions. Sadly they’re just going to milk as many suckers as they can and then they’ll make a new garbage scam. Rinse and repeat.Version: 4.0.0
✓ PLEASE HELP!Nooo! I JUST updated the game to version 4.1.4 and unfortunately I had yet to link the game profile to a back-up. Now to game won’t even begin to load, it’ll go to a white screen and crash immediately! I made a big mistake in updating the game as my phone is outdated as I am unable to afford a new phone.. ✓ Devs ruining the gameI have been playing this game for two years now and really enjoyed developing and improving but in the last 3 months the development team have well and truly sh it the bed with updates and their understanding of the player base. Top heroes that players have spent months/years developing have become redundant overnight without warning leaving only a few useable heroes which makes the arena battles extremely tedious and repetitive. We have had multiple players leave the game recently due to a lack of testing from the developers. ✓ Latest update has been miserableI was really enjoying this game for a while and was honestly hooked. I saw a few weeks back that there was an update so I figured I updated. Since then, game play has been very laggy and the app crashes at least once every 15 minutes. Annoying but the game is still a lot of fun and it always seemed to pick up relatively close to where it left off regarding coins, levels, troops, etc. when you restarted the app. I figured they would eventually fix whatever bugs were recently introduced, but no new updates, just that one that broke it. I have been wasting more and more time with this game, and restarts are getting more frequent. I was thinking about uninstalling and getting back an hour of each day to do something else, but the game incentives really kept me coming back, watching ads, probably making lots of $$ for the company. Until today, it recovered from its crash saying ?session expired? and asking me to confirm my progress. ✓ Great app, needs improvementI play all the time and think the app is great! However, there are a few changes I would love to see and then I will love to give a five star rating. First is there anyway the developers can include a option where you can save your army load outs?? It’s annoying constantly changing your troops for honor hunting, then needing to put everything back the way it was for the arena and then you forget how you had it.. can you guys include a save option?? Second, can the arena be removed? If not, can there at least be a limitation on how many times you can be attacked? I hate working so hard to climb the rankings and wake up the next morning and find I’ve been hit 15 times and all my hard work goes down the drain. I then uninstalled it for a fresh start at the game, it downloaded well but it won’t load, it is always stuck on the loading screen and the loading bar will always go up to full but it will never actually go onto the main game. Finally had enough and quit the game after one of the clan captains booted most of the clan and there was literally no way to recover from this. Oh and I’m still on the 1st level as such. Finally got to final stage of the level and it’s impossible to complete. I try to build up numbers and level up.. I get overwhelmed in minutes or seconds. I try to just attack.. I don’t have sufficient numbers and the enemy just overwhelm me. Again. Either way it’s a no win scenario. Why do you start the enemy out with far more castles and numbers than the player?? Don’t even think of staying strategic methods to me. I’m ex military and studied strategy in school and military exercises. So I know how to use strategy. Your developers it seems.. did not. You may want to rethink how to redevelop this game into a realistic strategic game. Also.. arena.. I have far more powerful and greater numbers.. yet get beaten by someone lower rated and less powerful etc etc. How is that possible?? Again.. I don’t believe you understand strategy. I was up to level seven troops and several legendary rank two or three heroes and one rank four hero. I had spent about $40 over the couple months I played until I purchased a pack and my game crashed. I logged back in like I do when it crashed during battles and random other times to see if my purchase went through. I did receive half my purchase if you consider three epic troops worth $2.50 which is complete garbage. I played clash of clans and marvel contest of champions for years and just grew bored of them but over the years I spent thousands in game but never got ripped off. I was only a few months into this game and lost $5: I contacted customer support several times and they gave me the run around telling me that their records show I received a legendary troop and my gems lol because that was the wrong pack I had bought the day before idiots wasn’t even looking at the right pack, so I chalked it up as a loss and moved on to play something else. To be honest the game was already growing stale because of the mindless battles over and over again with no tactics whatsoever just who has better troops. Anyways I never write reviews and I know this is lengthy but might save someone time and money. So to sum it all up just move on there’s better games with better customer service. ✓ Good game but Unbalanced matchmaking and battle pass.This game is good until you are trying to level your battle pass up as the developers only give a 14 day time to complete it, doing this is near impossible as you are limited to 30 matches at a time until they refresh and you are nearly never matched with somebody on your level it’s always higher and you lose instantly, like I say this is a good game but I would hold off buying the battle pass until the matchmaking is made more balanced and efficient.Version: 4.2.0

✓ Great little game needs some improvementThis is my second day playing and while I’m enjoying it so far, there’s a few things I’ve noticed that could do with some fine tuning. - The Recruitment price is quite high for the first 60 levels, given the fact that you only earn about 50 coins to begin with, getting to level 60 and beyond requires you to use the Gems you acquire to get troops from the shop especially when the price is like 6000+ coins to begin with. - There’s no selector to the troops you can recruit so you’re left with a bunch of level 1 ranks and just random cards that you’ve found over the course of the levels. - There’s no boss fights so while the chests and bonus coins and gems are great, it becomes repetitive quite quickly. - The 3x boost for coins at the end of levels doesn’t actually give you 3x the amount of coins, it’s just an ad thrown into the mix with no payout. ✓ Great game! Some issues thoThis game has a great concept and is very fun and addicting. I have found it very easy to build a quick army while spending no money, and the different game options are dope. A couple things, there shouldn’t be a level minimum on the game modes as some of them allow you to get better cards which makes sense until you realize it only boost pay to win players as they will reach these game modes ways faster. You guys have to find a way to categorize the arena mode. I’m getting swamp by people who have obviously put a lot of “time”(money) into the game and It gets tiring and is one of the only things that makes me really want to put this game down. ✓ No supportI have previously wrote this long winded review 3 times now and it keeps getting removed or not published. The game left me at a disadvantage to other players as I did not have access to honour hunting for 5 days. I contacted developers on discord, social media and email, I was being fobbed off by everyone I spoke to and when I mentioned missing out on rewards for a battle pass I paid for and wanted compensation for the honour hunting medals I missed out on for 5 days, the response I got from the support email was did I buy the new season battle pass. The other day the game crashed and I lost all money and gems. ✓ Admin/Developers are Bias and GreedyThis game is very unfair and not a even playing ground. The Admins, email for customer service (that they will tell you to help you), and developers are all allowing cheating in the game (but for only certain clans/players). There has been in depth proof sent to them and they do nothing. In addition, they roll our new updates without even testing. They do not even have a testing server to ensure all bugs are fixed before release. Their testing server is the actual game server and they rely on the players’ feedback (who are very upset with terrible updates they come out with). In the end, the players need to teach them how to do their job. I have never experienced such a development team who fails at their jobs. I do not recommend playing this game or investing money into it as the game will always be bias and your honest feedback will get censored and you will be muted. I was muted for a whole week and was told it was that long as it was not my first time. As I explained it was my first time and to explain what other time, they told me they deleted their records. ✓ Feedback...Game play is quite simplistic; the game would be much more challenging and rewarding with slightly more complex gameplay. Suggestions: Allow each troop type’s actions to be modified (ie. direct iron guards/mages/whatever to either: hold their ground; rush to the front; or rush to the back); and Incorporate terrain components more (they were used quite well in the Christmas event! 😀). Also the ‘hero box’ and ‘troop box’ countdown system is kind of absurd: at time of writing I have accrued 46 troop boxes. With their countdown times I will never access them all (I’ll collect them faster - a lot faster! - than opening them). Then you have Headhunt,more countless ads. Everywhere you look....More Ads. Most games give you option to remove ads with a purchase or with a subscription. ✓ Banned from Official Discord for Encouraging Players to Provide Feedback HereThe game invites you to their official discord if you spend on the game over a certain amount. When players complained about the update to the game and that the developers were not responding, I encouraged them to come here and express their opinions good or bad and was subsequently banned for 7 days. The game is a fun time killer, but the developers and the mods are completely oblivious to what their customers want. Not sure why you would ban a player for suggesting that other players provide feedback good or bad here… unless you had something to hide. If that isn’t a red flag, I don’t know what is. This literally is where you are supposed to be able to be able to provide feedback and encouraging others should not be punishable by the developers. ✓ Sometimes boring/grind, sometimes funI was initially drawn in by the expedition mode which is good. This is not the focus of the game however. To access later expedition chapters, you have to do things called levels, which is about as dull as you can get and not related to the expedition mode. This other mode (levels, PvP and honour hunting) is the main focus of the game which unfortunately has a large amount of grinding to improve troops. There are really easy but boring battles (Headhunt) that are mindnumbingly boring and easy, but you have to do them to get the rare ingame currency (gems). When there is a 2x speed mode to skip through the battles (paying not to play the game!) then you know there is a problem. These are all small problems. The main problem though is that new features that are added could be good but are not thought through properly and often leave a sour taste. They also need to improve the game to allow new players to catch-up. Edit: They have released a new game mode recently called Infinity War which I have enjoyed and has increased replayability..Version: 4.4.4

But then I saw that it was a subscription and not a one time purchase. I was very disappointed as I’m a student and can’t really afford to have a subscription for a game. Nothing special but it certainly wasn’t the best. The reason I’ve left the review and deleted the app is purely down to the advertisements. ✓ Not badI downloaded the game because of the adds, only to find out it’s nothing like them. I was actually more interested in what the game actually looked like vs the stick figures. PRO: this game is very fast past and fun, figuring out the best way to dominate the enemy by placing down where your troops should be is good! I just wish it was more in-depth such as planing where the troop move to. CONS: it seems like when you reach a certain point in the game your troop don’t kill the enemy before they get killed causing a lost, this isn’t a bad thing but the progress to get more troops is slow and expensive, after 15 battle I still wasn’t able to make enough coin to get more guys. This is where all of the icons come in. Every icon in the game takes you to a micro transaction, which isn’t bad but at the same time the progression in the game come to a halt, not a lot of coins coming in meaning stuck at the same level for hours/ days to get a random card. IMPROVEMENT: increased the coins so that players will lose but at the same time not stuck at a spot for hours. Over all the game is fun to play if you’re “free to play” kinda guy like myself until you get to level 54 and you just lose every battle after that until you spend real money or just grind it out..Version: 2.9.11

✓ SuggestionDitch the whole “battle dance” they tend to spin around each other and tend to miss or attack the air if two troops are fighting they should be locked on to each other and not spin around so much as well as if more then one is attacking a single troop one more is dedicated Troops should engage the closest targets and not try and run into enemy lines lastly archers and ranged should not rush the front lines like is they have my chance at survival (more realistic and easier to strategize your lineup) and I would love to see more troop diversity unlike how you have a class from each faction adding the necromancer was a great addition I understand this is a lot but I wouldn’t of taken the time write this if I didn’t feel like this game could beat a game such as “clash Royale” you guys made a wonderful game with amazing potential no other game like this could put beat this right now.Version: 2.2.5
