✓ Great Concept. Some Major FlawsI love the concept of the game and it’s really enjoyable to play and accumulate your earning/ over time. How ever, I was playing earlier today and I logged on 5 minutes later and I lost all my progress. I made a lot of progress considering I’ve been playing for over a week. I asked others who played this game and they said it’s a bug and they’ve also lost progress and needed to restart more than once. I’ve experienced this problem in games before and I thought it was just my buggy phone. However, asking others, other people have experienced similar problems and I believe that this is something that needs fixing. ✓ Why force ads?I used to play this a couple years ago and now it’s just unplayable. I uninstalled it after like 3 minutes because the other two minutes I had it open the game was forced me to watch through ads. ✓ This is another tycoonRight now I am currently playing this game and I have found so serious problems. 1. Paying does not work. I payed for the no ads things and in it states it is permanent. It cost 6.99 US dollars. After purchasing it I found out they I did not have it and was scammed out of my money. If the creators see this and if it is possible I would like my money back. 2. The game breaks. I have found on times when finishing an ad to lets just say get some investor money I have found how closing it results in multiple copies of it to start flowing down to the bottom. It often resembles a waterfall. Attempts of opening over tabs to stop it make that same problem happen to those newly opened tabs. 3. Make it easier to start up. It has taken me a full week to get to a point where I can just start playing the actual game. Before that it felt like getting loans and one second later losing the loan money. Then you wait for another two hours to get another loan. In conclusion, this game is a scam, full of multiple bugs, and is a hard game to start up. ✓ Run of the mill tap or idle game.How idle/tap games got so popular to the point they churn them out rapid-fire is beyond me. Nothing unique or special, just another boring tap game easily exploited by your phone’s date/time settings. It’s simple, and kind of cool...but it’s more of the same. You get plenty of opportunities to watch 15-60 second ads for a temporary boost somewhere...that is, if the ads work at all. Sure, it will let you watch them, but they may not work. The stars are the typical pay-to-win fare, pay (way too much) money to get these special “stars” to increase whatever you wish from a set selection of options, but as of now, there’s no way to earn these without paying real money. If you spend a red cent on this “game” for some arbitrary number, then you should probably get your head checked...it isn’t worth it. There are no leaderboards, no strategy, once you build your army, then nothing...they march off just to be recycled again. Having some sort of actual PVP or PVE game could have helped it...but it doesn’t, it’s just the same garbage that accesses that part of your brain that keeps you coming back for just another single upgrade that doesn’t help progress to anything. ✓ Feels like a scamI like how you get to watch the soldiers do the coarse, but eventually soldiers leave, so your not trying to get a lot of soldiers. Also when you accept 30 recruits, you get them, but most of the recruits leave the line, NOT giving you a total of 30 soldiers. One time I accepted 30 recruits for ONE ad. But instead for some reason it gave me TWO ads. A lot of the new things cost money so basically, if you don’t want to spend your money, then your just gonna have everything original. Something I’ve always DESPISED is the fact that every time you come back ...YOU START WITH 0 SOLDIERS, basically making this IDLE game, a non-idle game. Also it could really use a tutorial. ✓ Poorly executed ideaI wish they would put more work into user experience rather than soul-destroying adverts that are much too long to keep players engaged. Add to that the number of times said adverts crash the game and cause your entire base to empty out for no benefit, and so far all this game has given me is frustration. If they made one or two tweaks, this could have been a great idle game. I have spent money on paid versions of games I have enjoyed in the past, because those games enabled me to enjoy them. ✓ My nth? ReviewSo I’ve reviewed this game several times at this point and they’ve finally gotten me up to 2 stars almost 3. Originally the game constantly crashed within 2 min. I even timed it. Now I was getting decent game time, but in the past month it has been crashes at roughly the 5-7 min mark. Other issues since last update. There is a new update as of this moment, 9/24, and I’ve not played since I’ve updated. The issues since the previous update are stupid. So what moron decided it would be a good idea to make players watch an ad every time they go to improve a unit? Improve exercise, ad. Improve artillery, ad. Improve gate, ad. Etc etc. The person needs a good kick to the groin. Another issue is the Hummer just disappeared. Progress mark just drives around with no Hummer. But worse yet is the invasion. Get the troops loaded and now you don’t get credit until timer has moved half way and if it’s not back and the game crashes you don’t get credit for the troops you just sent. And the crem de la crem is you get to start over and with no troops loaded. And we all know how crappy it is to have to wait on troops to get through all those training modules before loading..Version: 1.19.0

✓ DecentThe game is fun to pass the time and build up your base, however my main query is with lagging and crashes. Every single one of my sessions on here has ended with the game freezing and crashing to my home screen. When I return to the game I have to start from the beginning of the last session I played and it bogs down to an endless cycle of logging back on and making little to zero progress. ✓ Enjoyable but major bugThis has been one of the more enjoyable idle games I’ve played. I have even made some purchases, such as no ads (which is the best no ads purchase I’ve ever made, it actually eliminates ALL ads.) I’ve opened all but one training area and have defeated all but 3 nations so there’s not much left to do. I’d recommend this but for one major issue. The amount of money that you earn while not playing (the idle part of the idle game) is not even close to accurate. While I have the game open, I can make $1b in about 5 minutes. If I turn the game off for an hour or two, I come back and I’ve only made a few hundred million. Not only that, but none of my soldiers continue to train even if it’s less than 2 hours or if I do a longer offline multiplier. So I have to wait 10 minutes to get my base full and start making money again. This is especially frustrating when I leave in the middle of a battle and come back and have to wait for 80 soldiers to make it through all the training again..Version: 1.10.2
✓ Too many advertisementsEvery minute or so the game tries to display an ad which makes the game impossible to play. The game is alright on its own, really only having basic features anyway so it’s not worth it to sit through an ad every minute to the developer gets a shitload of cash. The ads for boosts and faster times should be enough as people use them frequently. A lot of the time I can’t use them because guess what your 1 minute ad pops up and then they disappear. You should always have to click a button that lets you watch an ad for a reward, my time is your money and you’re not getting it this way. You ruined your own game with advertisements anyone looking to play this game should look elsewhere as there are plenty of similar game w/o the advertisement insanity.Version: 1.18.2
✓ Way too overpricedI like this games when I’m bored and I play it a lot but I have one complaint- everything g is way too overpriced. When I leave my game overnight to collect money it only collects 2 hours worth and I have to pay £7 just to upgrade it. I get so far thru and it crashes I have paid to remove ads ... after a short time of game play it crashes and restarts so I loose my entire population and have to start again. ✓ Fun, but has a limitThis game is fun. It does allow for hours of upgrading your base, and you don’t have to pay to win either. You just have to be more patient. However, I have now maxed out what I can purchase with in game cash. I have nearly maxed out all of the upgrades I can do with stars. I sent an email to the developers, and instead of saying we have some great content on the way, they said “Hold on, we’re working on other games right now. We’ll get back to idle army sometime next year.” Not very impressed with the developer. I would think twice about investing any time into this game, or any other by Neon Play. ✓ Bad updateThis game was reasonably fun until the last update. They changed the earnings gameplay and now it’s pretty much unplayable. Before I could make progress daily and would play it for awhile. Now, the only way to progress is to open the game to receive offline earnings, spin the wheel 3 times then close it. What used to take a half day to do now takes weeks. What’s the point??? Plenty of other games to play!!! So glad I didn’t waste my money on customizing my base. I was about to. Love the idea hate the execution, though I can ignore some of the avalanche of ads, training layouts and grinding nature (it’s fun idle games and there are tedious ones)- can’t choose what you want your army to train, the game just constantly crashes, lose your soldier AND THE BONUSES so if you watch the ads for idle time they won’t count in over 80% of the time ; can’t undo the star upgrades which sometimes activate and take stars when you try to scroll down... this game is a cluster of bugs, couldn’t even rate for and leave a comment for a a few days. The conquer the world campaign is so pointless, the rewards don’t give you and incentive to attack some places plus the constant crashes make it difficult to stay on track.Version: 1.10.2

✓ Improvement for the DevelopersI enjoy this game, and I love all the different aspects of the game, which I just got today. I clicked on the Recruitment Drive Video, and it came up with the spinning circle, did nothing, and the video never came up, this has happened on my Phone and to a friend who played this on his tablet. ✓ No, Just No.I can’t fathom how a game like this gets to be on the Appstore. That goes for any app that is a cesspool of Adverts like this one. First of all, there is literally NO tutorial. Thats a big mistake. Every game should be considering the players needs. MY JOB AS THE CONSUMER however, is to try out the product and optionally leave a review based on how I see fit. Just a word of advice, a majority of the people on this planet won’t want to try and waste time figuring out how to play games on their own. That just frustrates people, leaving you penniless. Thankfully, it was relatively simple to figure out how and what to do, and I have a fair bit of patience. Secondly, getting back to the Adverts critique. I cannot progress in a game that’s this slow. Like you have no money to start with and everything cost an insane amount of coins. Literally other than your soldiers training, the only source of revenue is the many pesky prompts to ask if you want to watch an Advert, for which would be basically pocket change. Luckily, the bright side is that they are optional. Although it would be miserably slow progression, you in fact can get by without Adverts..Version: 1.10.2

✓ Devils advocateFirst off id like to state ive only started to play for a few days now after the constant barrage of ads from other games. Even though that was annoying in its self i have to say it is a interesting game none the less. I love a games like this when there isnt really microtranactions compared to other games, or as heavy as others. It feels as if i have more freedom on what i can do. But with all good things there are the bad. One in particular is the offline issue when the game is closed. Ive had many of missed income when opening the game back up where i havent opened it for hours. But i have not made any offline income. The other (of witch i dont know for sure just yet) but the upgrades you can purchase with stars. I have yet to see a reset function that would restart your world in exchange of the star currency. One of the star upgrades does refer to a investor upgrade that increase the value by ten. Im not sure if that is refering to individual upgrades for each traing ground or for a reset system. ✓ No pay offIt’s simple. You train your army, you earn money. You upgrade training, you earn more money. You go to war you earn stars and money. Problem... First, a bug in the game makes you have to reset the game when your army is only trading 3 guys at a time.(Yes you have to upgrade the number of troops that train at once so it’s a bit of a middle finger shoved in your face when they’re not training.) The same with war. You have to buy spots on boats to send troops to war and they cost billions when you make million, and 100’s of billions when you make billions. The problem is you get 3 guys pacing in front of the boats and go in the boat so you send them out with a missing soldier. You have to reset the game for this as well. Guess what? Even tho it’s a ideal game your base is empty when you reset so you have to wait for your trainees to show up to train. Another middle finger in my face. So what’s at the end of this struggle??? Nothing. You fight all the wars and nothing happens. No more war. You complete the map and nothing happens. No prestige, no other wars nothing. I did enjoy the game in the beginning and I hope they fix the bugs. Last I heard from their communication app is they plan to fix it. The bugs that is. But all in all. It’s not worth the time and aggravation if nothing happens the map is just colored in and no more war. After all, you are suppose to be training an Army..Version: 1.10.2

Actual game play is like 5 mins and your out of cash for a good few hours , attacking the world is so rubbish it’s actually comical, your landing crafts hold 20 ( being generous) and some countries require 2000 to attack , landing craft takes 5 mins ( plus the 15 seconds to dock , and 5 mins to fill ) you do the maths !! ✓ Good game, needs improvingAs it stands, Idle Army Base is pretty good idle game. It’s quite enjoyable seeing all your soldiers running around the base, and it’s fun to acquire new training areas. However, it doesn’t come without drawbacks. For one, all customization is locked behind a paywall, when a better design choice would be to have only some options locked behind micro transactions. Another thing that bothers me is it’s quite slow starting out, however once you progress a bit it starts speeding up, which is good. The last thing I’d like to add is that the animations for soldiers training and doing their thing is noticeably sloppy, for example, in urban warfare training they don’t even hold their gun correctly. I’d love to see the animations improve. In short, this game is pretty good, there’s a 50/50 chance you’ll like it..Version: 1.10.2

Also I do agree with another user saying it needs more of a “mission” mode or concept. I do believe this would set it above a lot of the other idle games out there because there is no mission or anything to achieve or accomplish. ✓ Losing stars as I typeSo, this started out as a great game. Simple concept, but loads of fun. I happily watched ads until I decided to spend real dollars to remove them. I was happy I did...for about a week. I earned enough coins to buy almost all the areas and maximize my training so I could conquer the world. But now, the game won’t stay running in the background, no matter what I do. It crashes, which removes all troops, resets the base, and stops all earnings. So while my training alone should generate billions every hour, I wake up after 8 hours of being offline to find no troops and only a few hundred million in coins. I can’t earn fast enough to continue upgrades and I can’t attack any area because it takes 10 minutes to build up enough troops for the boats to ship out. By then, I don’t have enough time to send 1500 troops someplace 60 at a time. And since it won’t do ANYTHING in the background, I have to watch it every minute. Not what I expect from a game with “Idle” in the title. Would love to return it to a full 5 stars, if the developers would fix some of the big issues..Version: 1.10.2
✓ Greedy app devs spoiling the gameThe game was fun until the latest update spoilt all the fun. After a level, the upgrades need so much money that you only had an option to wait overnight and get 3x the money and jee accumulating. With new version, you only get 2hr max and base population becomes 0. The upgrade is now so costly that it will take me weeks to accumulate that much gold. It’s a rip off forcing you to buy additional packs, as if our watching ad doesn’t generate enough revenue. As a result I stopped playing it altogether. Penny wise pound foolish !!.Version: 1.14.3

✓ Repetitive and haphazardMore repetitive than other games of the genre, with little incentive to level up... not really any exciting unlocks. Maybe introduce badges to collect, or make the graphic for each training zone change when you level up, adding more buildings or guns or something decent instead of just more soldiers entering the zone. Aside from that there are a few other things that just seem inconsistent/random... - whether or not the ad bonus works. 1.1.2 was meant to fix this but it hasn’t... sometimes there are no ads, other times they freeze halfway through, and others there’s no way to return to the game at the end of the ad other than close/relaunch, which doesn’t give you they bonus - earnings whilst the app is closed seems a total mystery... sometimes overnight it’s 80 million, others it’s more like 30 - it’s not explained anywhere how the amount you get for a cohort marching off base is calculated To my last couple of points I’ve a feeling the developer would say “look at the discord” or something, but as the customer it’s not my job to go hunting for info on the gameplay... it’s your job to make it easily available!.Version: 1.1.2
✓ Wars are frustratingNot a bad game. Similar to other idle game so have played. A few things I find frustrating about doing wars. The timer when the boy returns runs out to zero but you wait another 5-10 after the timer runs out before your boat returns and your soldiers start to load. Secondly, you have to be in the game in order for your ships to return an load. The attack takes about 5 mins, so I will close my phone to wait in between attacks. But if you are not logged in your boats also t automatically come back and load in the mean time. That means you either have to log back in exactly every 5 mins (if all your boats leave at the same time) or literally be on for the hour plus or can take to attack somewhere. It would be nice if your boats would return and load when the timer ran out whether you were logged in or not. The. You just have to log in and hit launch and spend tour money..Version: 1.10.2

You then have to wait for them to slowly filter in through the gates and start to queue at the training sections all over again. FIX THE BUGS. The whole premise of this game is that you upgrade training sites and recruiting in order to increase the volume and value of a soldier as they go through training. At the end of training when enough soldiers amass they “graduate” and you receive coins to upgrade. The problem with this however is the value of each soldier is incredibly low. The upgrades are extremely expensive, and so relatively little to increase the speed with which you get coins. So how do you increase the speed? By being forced to watch video ad after video ad in order to say increase the rate of recruiting, or to get 300 coins. This game is absolutely garbage. ✓ 4.6 stars? 🤔This is another one of those below-average games that somehow gets a much higher rating than it deserves. Clearly something is happening here as there’s no way this gets a 9.2/10 rating. The game’s premise is cool, but it’s let down the the awful speed of progression and complete lack of tutorial. ✓ Can I Get My Money Back?At first it was a rather good game. But after a few months, I hadn’t gotten very far. So I made a stupid decision to buy the no ads package. when I bought that, the game went a little faster until I started the wars. Wars were generally quick in the beginning but once I started progressing with wars they took up soo many hours. there is no quick way to beat this game. Once I got better areas in the game, it takes way too long to get even close to the amount of money that is needed to buy a new area. after that it was never a real way to make progress in the game. Sure, the no ads was helpful, but they did not help at all once I bought higher areas in the game. For example, I would have 2B. I would click on the crate or the money helicopter, and it would give me 25M. Not helpful at all. So I basically gave up all hope in completing the game. ✓ Almost impossibleI love idle games, they pass time well. But this I thought would be good, that is until, I started to upgrade.. The cost/reward for building is absolutely ridiculous, which is the same for updating the site already built... Seriously, Seriously needs updating or working on to make it better.. ✓ Not really an idle gameFirst off, there is no tutorial, so it’s not really clear in the beginning what you’re meant to do and why. But it didn’t take too long to figure it out. While the game itself isn’t at all bad. It’s not really an idle game. The point of the game is to invade other territories, but that can’t be done in an idle state. Once you’ve selected a place to invade, you have to check in every 5mins to progress the invasion or it’ll fail. And that need to constantly check in can run over a two hour period. Then there is the idle earnings. Currently I’m averaging about 1 million per idle hour, I can watch an ad to get x3 bonus on that when I log in again, making it about 3 million per hour. But with the game active, without any ad boosts I average about 1 million every 5 minutes. So, not a bad game, but not an idle game..Version: 1.10.2
✓ Good-ish game buggy as hellThe game is fine to play it takes a while for coins to build up to upgrade but over time that gets faster, what really kills this game is that the ad bonuses just don’t work you watch a 30 second ad and hope to get coins or a boost but nothing. Oh and sometimes you can get a offline bonus if you watch an ad but that doesn’t work either and you normally just end up losing the lot, if you’ve been lucky enough to get any in the first place. ✓ What’s the dealOkay, I am a fan of games like these but there are some serious problems. 1: everything is locked behind spending money or watching ads. I spend more time in ads than I do in the game because of how much stuff is locked behind ads. You actually can’t customize the fort itself without buying thecustomization pack which I think might be one of the worst features of the game. 2: there is nothing enjoyable about going to war. The whole time you’re at war with another country consists of you staring at the screen and waiting for the troops to train (which takes longer the more zones you unlock) and clicking a button to send them off. That’s it. It feels more like a chore and the rewards don’t justify the efforts. Now maybe (MAYBE) I could get over most of that if the game didn’t crash so dang much. You make me watch these ads to speed up the game or get money but after the first few one will make my game crash. ✓ Stop it with the ads!!!!I’d like to play this game, but the ads are so annoying. I open up an offer to watch and ad for something, but then I get an ad either way whether I refuse or not. ✓ Pointless?The game doesn’t seem to have any point or objective what so ever. Upon opening the game for first time it opens up to the island base and instantly starts doing its own thing (loading in recruits and then proceeding to book them for training) however nothing is explained. For the first few minutes I had to get my own bearings of the game and figure out how the income works as I thought the game wasn’t making money for my base. Secondly the ads are extremely annoying. Sure they don’t pop up but everything requires an ad it appears. I don’t understand how the idle part works either as it wants you to watch an ad for money for offline. Not to mention when you watch an ad to have an influx of 30 recruits they go away cause your hate can only hold a line of 8 people for some reason? So you waste 30 seconds to get zero recruits cause it’s almost always full anyways. Also there’s a rendering problem with your roads and walkways. When you move the camera around light brought triangles flash on and off the roads. I’m guessing it’s the dirt that’s under your roadways peaking through. ✓ Decent idle gameIt’s a standard idle game, I have no complaints on that. However, it’s a very slow start, upgrading parts of you base costs hundreds, and only increases the amount of money you earn by decimals. Once you’re set up, it moves at a decent pace from being away, but there are definite places for improvement. For example, a simple addition of adding sound, as it feels empty without it. Or the addition of a quest system, to give you something to strive towards and keep your attention. This could reward the stars or normal currency. Maybe also a prestige system, where you can restart your base but earn more based on a level you achieve in the last base, possibly army ranks.
