Stardust Cycle Tracker for Negative User Reviews

DO NOT DOWNLOADTheir updated privacy policy has made it clear that they can and will give your data over to law enforcement at request!!! They also state that any data that is shared to a third party, is then left in the hands of the third party and that they have no control over the third parties privacy policy and what they do with the information. It is also nearly impossible to delete your account if you wish to! There is no where in the app that gives you the option to delete your account. I only found that option because I emailed them asking to exercise my right to erasure. They sent an automated response where the option to delete my account was given. In order to delete your account, you need to provide the email linked to your account (obviously so they know what to delete) BUT there is no where on the website or app where you can access what email you’ve given them. With out that email you can’t delete your account… so you just have to trust your memory… but even then they give you no confirmation that the account has been deleted or that the email was correct. I tried to delete my account, I think it was successful but I have no idea. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. I know that in recent events of Roe V Wade being overturned we are scared of big corporations being able to access such personal information about us. Stardust uses this fear as a marketing scheme and to target vulnerable people who think they’re putting themselves in safe hands. DO NOT DOWNLOAD..Version: 2.0.0

Very disappointed1: Privacy I thought this was a really great app because of how it showed your cycle with the moon, and upon downloading the app and opening it it says they will never sell or show your data to anybody, but after actually reading the whole privacy statement it very clearly states they will give your data to any third party or government upon request. This did not bother me much as I live in Australia where abortion is still legal, but if you are effected by Roe v Wade’s overturn then this is very unsafe. You also cannot delete/erase your data anywhere or delete your account. Even if you don’t care about that, it’s extremely dysfunctional and after I noticed that I recorded how long it took to open - 2 minutes and 29 seconds. If it doesn’t do that then it tells you to verify your email which takes forever because they don’t sent the email for a few minutes. You have to do this every time. In short I just wouldn’t recommend this app to anybody and would suggest downloading something that actually values your privacy and safety..Version: 2.1.1

Regularly resets?I like this tracker, it’s fun! but it’s not terribly intuitive to use, it also keeps resetting my data and has forced me to start from scratch at least twice in 6 months. It was also recently showing the wrong date/day combo from one page to the next (how?) Luckily I’m just tracking my cycle start date and nothing else overly important or these would be reasons to use a different app..Version: 2.1.2

It could be great but is too buggyIt’s become unusable now. There were multiple times where I wasn’t able to access the app when I needed. I got kicked out and tried to sign back in but now it’s running me through the entire onboarding again which probably means my past months are lost. I’ll be switching back to the other apps like clue as it’s so unreliable..Version: 2.1.1

The updates delete everythingReally good app when it works, but every time you have to update it wipes all your data, and this new update didn’t have somewhere to put my old encryption key, it just makes you make a new account, can yous PLEASE fix this issue, I love this apps setup and I don’t want to have to use another app cause this one’s now deleted the last 2 years of my data which I had set up in it..Version: 2.1.2

Not For Me (25yo Autistic Enby)Downloaded this for the moon alignment concept but found everything hard to understand because of the colloquial language. Really liked the hormone graph but, again with the language, hated how gendered it was ("female hormone", referring to users as "woman", "witch", with no option to change pronouns). Might keep the app as a reference to learn more about hormones but definitely doesn't feel like it was built for someone like me, but I'm fine with that as I'm happy with Clue..Version: 1.0.21

Lost all my tracking infoI went to check where I am in my cycle today and track some symptoms but the app had somehow completely signed me out and LOST ALL MY HISTORY. There’s nothing left. What’s the point of a tracking app when all my tracking history is lost..Version: 2.1.3

Good for trackingI was looking for an app that tracked menstrual period, my mood etc., and the moon’s cycle. This app does this which is great. I wouldn’t count on it for horoscopes or anything though, it is totally wrong about my astrological sign..Version: 2.1.9

Loved The App Until I Couldn't Log InThis app was by FAR my favorite in this week or so that I had it. Before installing the update, despite the few symptoms that were able to be tracked at that point, it was fantastic to use and was easily understandable + enjoyable. However, with the most recent update, I tried to then get back into my account and was told to enter an encryption key which I hadn't recieved or seen when making my account. I tried to then recover the encryption key, only for an error message to pop up regarding accessing my account information. Same happened when trying to get a new key. Can't even make a new account as the app isn't letting me or giving me that option, only allowing me to sign in. Tried to also make one via my email or mom's number and had a "timed out" error pop up. I'm locked out and cannot access my previous data whatsoever, and it makes me nervous. I've tried to contact customer support yesterday, hoping I'll get a response soon because this truly was my favorite app but this stress of not being able to obtain my data or even create a new account is making me highly upset with the circumstances in our world now occurring..Version: 2.0.1

GlitchyI really love this app, but I’m really missing the feature where you could click on a phase and it would give you diet/seed cycling/movement recommendations. Is that a glitch or did you get rid of it? That was my favourite part of the app. Please bring it back!.Version: 2.1.9

Great, but…I loved this app. Switched to it after finding out about Flo keeping unnecessary bits of your data. I had a good two years of dates backed up on Flo and just input them onto stardust about five months ago. However, recently I opened back up into the stardust app to find I wasn’t logged in anymore. Tried logging in using the same email/mobile I use for everything. And every input I had put in for my cycle dates was just, gone. Two years of it. And now unfortunately I have to start from the beginning or risk logging back into the Flo app. This app was great, and so helpful. Until it wasn’t..Version: 2.1.2

DisappointingI was really impressed with this app at first and thought it would be a great way to track my cycle. However it just doesn’t work properly, I’ve been putting in my periods for 3 days now and it’s still saving I’m “3 days late” even though they’re showing as tracked on the correct days, so I’ll not bother continuing to use it as it’s pretty pointless and inaccurate..Version: 2.0.4

Confusing & InaccurateI had high hopes for this app because their whole selling point is they cannot give your information to any party and your info is encrypted. Even though that is wonderful and what us women needs right now, the app is incredibly inaccurate and has too many bugs to be useable at this point. The first month I had it, it sent me a notification every morning that my period was late, when it was not. I believe this bug may have been fixed but along came another. When tracking my cycle, the app told me on Day 21 of my cycle my period was 9 days away, but the very next day, Cycle day 22 it says my period is 1 day late and so on. Obviously my period cannot be 8 days away AND 1 day late at the same time. I didn’t catch this at first and just saw I was several days late so naturally, I panicked a little. Now I’m super confused when my period was/is supposed to start. Women who have irregular periods such as me, rely on these apps to help us know when we are late and by how much and this app just can’t seem to do that. It’s a beautiful app and the idea behind it is solid so I hope the creators can clean this up. I’d rather have less aesthetics and it be accurate..Version: 2.0.4

Wish it was better…This app is great when it does work, but it’s so glitchy.. and it logged me out for some reason & I can’t get back in. Love the fact you can track the different phases of your cycle, as well as many different factors of your period. And it’s also love the funny/cute comments they put but as I said sooo glitchy! Disappointing as this is a great app..Version: 2.1.4

Somewhat usable.Ether you need to resign in or the app just shows you one day and the rest of the UI is broken yes it’s better than Flo but Flo works somewhat better... it’s either my cycle gets sold on black wed and Facebook or a glitchy Ui that sometimes doesn’t work half the time but it’s owned by women... (Also.. for me it’s always like 4 days to a week off I’ll usually rely on the apple period tracker :/ ) so I'd advise a better Ui or the older one..Version: 2.1.4

SlowJust want to check when my period is predicted to come but the app gets stuck on the loading screen..Version: 2.0.4

PotentialThis app has such potential but just doesn’t work efficiently enough to continue using it. It kept closing when I would do updates and I had spent time making months worth of entries into the calendar only for them to all disappear one day..Version: 2.1.4

Great concept but too many bugs. This app would be great if it wasn’t so full of bugs. I’ve now had to stop using it as it asks for a sign-in every time I open it. Also symptoms don’t log properly, the graphics don’t load in the app sometimes. It’s such a shame as it’s quite unique and I’d use it daily but I’ll stop for now and hoping they get better in the future..Version: 2.1.0

Logging datesI absolutely love this app as it helps me track my periods better than other apps I’ve tried, but recently I’ve seen I have to manually adjust the dates so it knows I’m actually on my period still. It does this for ALL the days during the period, and it’s beginning to become annoying. Please fix this developers, as there’s times I forget to adjust the days..Version: 2.1.3

Was great now I’ve lost everythingI only recently downloaded this app. It was great and then a few days ago I couldn’t log in. Now I have to enter an ecyrption key every time I go in and it always wants me to answer questions such as mothers maiden name etc. Today I wanted to add symptoms and all my info regarding current cycle has gone. Loved the app and recommended it to all my friends but as of this week I’m having second thoughts..Version: 2.0.1

Interface is cool but needs improvementsI initially did love this app, the interface is nice and it’s original not like any other period app I used before. But it needs some work, it’s not very practical. You can’t skip forward and see what the forecast is for the following day, you have to wait to read it on the actual day. I also got pregnant, then every day I received a notification saying that my period was late. There was no where to track that I wasn’t going to get my period. I then had a miscarriage and now I’m still receiving the notifications that my period is late. I just wish it was more intuitive..Version: 1.0.7

Friend sync wont workWholesome and cute app but it won’t let me sync with my friends:(.Version: 2.0.4

Good but could use improvementsI love this app, it’s so visually pleasing but please bring back the feature where you could click on the part of your cycle that your in and see what seed cycling/ diet and movement your body needs. Also I would love if this app could be available offline as well- sometimes I don’t have wifi but would still like to see where I’m at in my cycle.Version: 2.1.9

Incredibly unreliableA period app that doesn’t load or consistently save data isn’t exactly a great period app. IF the information loads, you’re lucky. I’ve just had to completely remake my profile, even though it should be tied to my phone number/email address. Previous to this, any time I would try to open the app it would take forever to load, or it wouldn’t at all. It could be days before I get the app to work. And now, here I am without any history because it’s completely restarted for no reason..Version: 2.1.3

Nice app but...They are sticking to some really archaic science around periods. For instance it allows you to adjust your ovulation day but if you have it set to a 28 day cycle it won't allow you to change ovulation past day 14 because it's assuming that you have a very typical luteal phase. For myself I know I have a shorter than average luteal phase and that I ovulate on day 17 of my cycle like clockwork but I still have a 28 day cycle but it won't allow me to change it unless I make my cycle longer. I'm not sure why they restrict it like this or even bother allowing you to scroll past 14 if they're going to police it like this. Kind of annoying as the app prides itself in being inclusive but chooses to restrict this. Just wait until the devs find out about Peri-menopause! 🧐🤨.Version: 2.1.9

🥺It’s a lovely app. I adore the concept and swapped entirely from my old app to this one. But sadly I did just delete this one to go back to my old one. Reason why? Because my old tracker didn’t tell me how long my period had to be. It didn’t stop me from logging all the days I’ve bled in a row. This tracker refuses to allow me to log past 14 days while my old one didn’t care. I have always had extremely irregular periods. Even as an early teenager. I need to be able to correctly log everyday in a row that I bleed or else I’m not able to explain correctly to my doctor what’s happening and the correct duration of it. My most recent cycle started August 18 and it’s now Sept 7 and I have not had 1 day where I haven’t bled. That’s the kind of thing I need to accurately track but when I get an error saying my cycle cannot be longer then 14 days it’s very frustrating. Please please change this. If this does get changed someone let me know and I’ll gladly come back and be a loyal user of this app til the end of time. But until then I have to return to the old one to correctly log everything..Version: 2.0.5

Good app but keeps logging me out after useIt’s a good app. Moved everything over from flo, but my only issue is that it requires you to sign in every time you open the app. It would be nice if we didn’t have to do it every time When I opened it after I first transferred all my data from Flo I got signed out a few days after I deleted it. I legit thought I lost all my period data because I had no idea what email I used with the app. I eventually figured it out but big jump scare there. It would be nice to have a permanent sign in where I don’t have to every time I wanna check my cycle.Version: 2.1.4

Can’t loginI loved the app when I first got it. After updating it logged me out and now I can’t get back in, with no access to my data that I’ve collected over several months. I used my phone number to sign up originally, but now when I try to sign in again with it, I don’t even get the text message to verify. It just never comes through. I’m hopeful that an upcoming update will fix this issue..Version: 2.1.3

Period trackerI first love this app and then it went down hill from there because when I first started this app periods were on timeEverything was all good until the app started glitching and I had to sign in every single time I wanted to use it so I deleted the app and reload it and then my periods were wrong they were saying they were one week but then they weren’t and then I would become unaware of them it’s supposed to be able to track them isn’t it and see when your next period is I know your body can change from time to time but I don’t think it’s supposed to change that many times and I it was started glitching again now so I deleted it and reloaded it and now it’s asking me some weird questions that I don’t know how to answer.Version: 2.0.2

Update deleted my dataI loved this app when I started using it it’s so much more fun than other tracking apps but the last couple of months it’s been bugging and whenever I add an irregular day of bleeding or early start to my period the tracker doesn’t automatically adjust to fit my new pattern. Also, I was just made to update the app and now all my data has been deleted so I’m back to square one.Version: 2.1.2

I want so badly to love it but….But the dependability of this app is horrible. Every other time I open it there is something not loading, a graphic glitching, missing all of my period data, blank screens I can scroll through etc….. Maybe I’ll come back to this app in a year and see if it is any better, but it seems like for so many updates and bug fixes that the app is still barely usable..Version: 2.1.9

Needs improvementsI love the idea of this app and loved it when I first downloaded it. Since the updates, it has been nothing but glitchy, unreliable and always logging me out. I pretty much never use the app now because it’s too much of a hassle. I really hope the developers make some much needed improvements to the app to get it to where I know it can be!.Version: 2.1.3

The app is cute but never worksI love the concept of this app, and I love all the different things I can mark down about my period, but the glitches are driving me crazy. I’ve had issues with it since I first downloaded it, which, at the time, I assumed was because so many people were getting the app at once. Now, I’m not sure what the problem is, but I hope that they get some major bug fixes soon. I’ve opened this app at least once a day for the past week to get a feel for when my period would be, and it never once loaded. Finally, I got my period and went on today to log it, and once again, nothing is loading. It keeps saying, “oops, something went wrong!”. My app is updated; I’ve tried to open it both with my wifi connection and on cellular. I also just tried deleting the app and redownloading it, but it still doesn’t work. Unfortunately, it looks like I will have to start using another app which is disappointing because I love Stardust’s concept!.Version: 2.1.1

Can’t Stay Signed InI downloaded this app after someone shared it on Instagram about 2 weeks ago. I signed up, entered in all of my information. I had chosen to receive all of the notifications/reminders, and after a few days I realized I hadn’t gotten any so I opened the app and had to ‘log in’ which required me to sign up and enter in ALL of my information again. So I did. I started getting some notifications, most recently one that said my period was going to start in 2 days. 2 days later (today). I opened the app, and I was yet again back to square one. The app wanted me to enter in all of my information again. And I don’t feel like doing this every time I want to take a look at the app. It’s not just ‘signing in,’ I have to enter my name, email, birthday, last period, cycle length, etc. every time. And when I can get into the app, my horoscope never loads anyways. I wanted to love this app for what it offered and how it was advertised, but it just doesn’t work for me. Great concept, but I don’t have the patience..Version: 2.0.2

Downgrading my review from 3 to 1 starsToo many issues I can’t be bothered to list them all. I’ve written to support 2-3 times and already left a review with feedback. Today on top of everything it says I’m on cycle day 28 on the log page whereas the calendar shows it’s day 31. I’m constantly confused and despite daily use I feel like I don’t know where in my cycle I am. I’m also in Australia which messes the whole thing up even more (which cycle day,the astrology, the alerts I get). Deleting now and returning to 100% pen and paper charting which I’ve always done - this app is no longer get a helpful complement to my charting and only makes me feel less connected with my cycle not more. Shame!.Version: 2.0.4

Great unless you’re irregular?I absolutely adored this app and relied on it to see how I should be feeling that day and what was down to my hormones. But recently the screen went blank and everything is plain because my cycle is irregular. I have PCOS so I find this upsetting as I already struggle when it comes to my cycle, I didn’t need all my colours and nice messages taken away too. Disappointing..Version: 2.1.4

Glitch with latest updateI loved this app until the latest update and ovulation window is now showing up straight after period and I can’t adjust it. I try adjust it and click save but it doesn’t update the data..Version: 2.1.5

Having too many issues (update #3)UPDATE #3: For a brief moment I had notifs again, yay! They’re gone again tho :( + Why do I have to go into the app every day and individually input each day of my period? Why doesn’t it just automatically continue after the first day until I stop it? • • • UPDATE #2: I now have not received notifications for what seems like over a month, which is incredibly frustrating. I really appreciate having warnings and check-ins regarding my cycle. I have tried turning notifs off and on both on my phone and in the app. • • • UPDATE: it’s still *very* buggy, but better. I really don’t feel like searching for a new app again so I hope everything gets sorted with this one soon. • • • I’m looking to find a new period app after using the same one since 2016. My old app is overrun with ads and now sells information — it has to go. I saw recommendations for this one and thought I’d give it a try. I backlogged years’ worth of previous periods to make sure the algorithm had enough info to work with. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to have an algorithm? Like, if your cycle isn’t consistently 28 days and your period isn’t consistently the same amount of days, this app and its predictions will not be accurate for you. Also, there’s constant glitches and “unable to open your cycle” messages upon opening. This app is so pretty visually, but I don’t think it’s strong enough to fully rely on. There seems to be a lot of issues that need to be worked out..Version: 2.1.3

Awesome but too many bugs to botherThis app has very cool features and a very vibrant aesthetic, but it’s SOOO buggy. Freezes on startup almost every time, dates don’t transition very well, if you enter data you lose some functions and have to restart. I will keep an eye on this app for improvements but it’s really quite useless until the bugs are ironed out..Version: 2.0.7

Great app…untilThis has been wonderful for me to track my cycle, then tonight when I updated the new version all my last 7 months are wiped! *Deletion of all information has occurred once again, absolutely gutted..deleting app.Version: 2.1.3

Love the app but it lost my data…I love the concept & interface of this app! I’ve had it since it first came out. There have been some pesky issues though…when I updated it a handful of months ago—even with my encryption key—my previously logged data was deleted. I decided to start over and went about using it frequently again. Then I updated it again (the most recent update) and it deleted my data…again. The only reason I updated it was because it wouldn’t let me click to see more in-depth about each phase of my cycle. I wish I hadn’t. I tried to reach out via the contact portion of the website and nobody has responded. I really like using this app but it’s frustrating that all the information I logged disappeared. I tried to log in using multiple methods and it either prompted me to create a new profile or just showed that I hadn’t logged anything in over 100 days..Version: 2.1.3

App issuesThis is a great app however it keeps logging me out and I’m always having to verify my account. Can someone tell me if there are issues with this at the moment?.Version: 2.1.8

Used to loveUsed to love this app for tracking everything… but now I’m unable to login and all of my data is gone..Version: 2.1.9

It started good but now…I absolutely loved this app, it replaced my old period tracker as that one started stealing people’s data, and I loved the stuff with astronomy and the horoscopes. I’ve had this app for about 9 months now but after the 3rd month it got really messed up, the setting I gave for it wouldn’t stick and it wouldn’t give me notifications anymore. It eventually fixed itself but then about last month the app just kicked me out of my account and it wouldn’t let me get back in so I had to start over, that was highly annoying but fine I could just start over. Now though it won’t give me notifications still and it used to do predictions for like ovulation or the start of my period on the big calendar screen but now it doesn’t, the screen is just gray and it only gives the moon cycle. It’s made me really upset as this used to be an app that I just loved opening to read the horoscope or just input symptoms, but I hate it now it’s just so broken..Version: 2.1.5

Don’t updateUpdated the app and lost all my data..Version: 2.1.3

Bring back the hormone graph!Update: the hormone graph is BACK! …but it’s wrong? For example, the graph shows progesterone rising and rising all the way until day 1, and then not starting to fall until day 3-4. On a 28 day cycle, your graph previously showed that progesterone peaks at day 21 and then falls heading into day 1. The graph also has an incorrect count on the number of days until my next cycle, even though I set the number in my profile post-update when my historical data went adios. I have PMDD, and the #1 thing that set this app above any other was the graph showing me what my hormone levels (likely) are every day of my cycle. Being able to see when my progesterone and estrogen are rising and falling at a glance has been BEYOND helpful for my sanity. I can’t find this feature anywhere on the new update, and I also can’t tell at a glance on the Home Screen when I should ovulate or start my next period. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring it back! I’m so perplexed by the design decisions that went into this major overhaul. I don’t care about tracking additional finite symptoms if I can’t compare them to my hormone levels for different days of my cycle. I also wish I had received some type of warning that they’d be enforcing new logins and wiping all of our historical data…I just lost 2+ years of tracking symptoms and dates with the new update. Much less important: While the new design style is fine, the old one was SO cute and felt much more hip..Version: 2.0.2

Could be better…So ever since my last pregnancy and having the implant in, my periods are irregular and I just wished there was an option that clearly states “start period” and “end period” like other apps. I also wish there was a monthly view of when my period actually started and ended. I’ve tried selecting every button on this app and cannot see a monthly view of it. A graph view would also be nice to see. I’m someone who likes to see my menstrual flow in months and side by side comparisons. My previous app had these functions and would show me Jan 6 days, February 7 days, March 6 days and etc. It was helpful to see how my flow changed throughout the months. I am always concerned with it being irregularities and constantly check the app to reí and see it’s progress but this app isn’t making it easy. Other than that, it’s pretty and I value the company not sharing our information - privacy is huge to me!.Version: 2.0.6

Okay but not for UK?I downloaded this app after being told in a FB group that it had endometriosis pain symptoms, which is rare for an app. However, I’ve came to the conclusion it’s not user friendly for UK users? Correct me if I’m wrong though! I also keep getting pop up error messages and my date is wrong - it’s now Sunday in the UK but my app is showing Saturday. I really enjoy this app but please make this user friendly for the UK otherwise, I can’t use it properly and it’s just wasting space on my phone 😩 Some points to look at for the V3 update - • Endometriosis pain = it’s good but maybe if there was an option in settings to select ‘endometriosis’ and ‘PCOS’ and then have a select range of those symptoms, separate to the normal ones as they can differ & be irrelevant to normal symptoms. • Dr appointment = if we could set reminders, a calendar and so on for dr appointments • UK friendly.Version: 2.0.3

GlitchyVery pretty but keeps telling me it can’t load my cycle. Also gives me the wrong cycle type. Hopefully glitches that will be fixed, I’d rather not go back to the app I had been using previously..Version: 1.0.21

Wont track periodLoved the app’s graphics before the most recent update, but with the new update i love the range of choices you can get under symptoms etc. i find the actual app quite unappealing to use because of the change in graphics and now seems quite hard to navigate but the way of keeping track of everything is great! unfortunately however, i’m trying to log my period but on the main home page it tells me i’m 3/4/5 etc days late when i’ve already logged my period. the hormone graph also doesn’t change alongside my period which is confusing and i find it hard to read! i’m hoping the next update reverts to the more simple graphics but maintains the advanced range of symptoms and things..Version: 2.0.2

Great app but needs to include pregnancy of all kindsAfter giving birth I decided to download the app after it being endorsed by podcaster Francesca Amber. Such a shame you can not load that information as surly this is hugely significant in a women’s life and affects cycles. I understand it’s a case of developing the app further, at added cost but it would be a much needed addition to help women get back on track and understand their bodies after birth, miscarriages, surgery etc..Version: 3.0.5

Sign in issueSo much better than flo but having to sign in every single time you open the app is really annoying!.Version: 2.1.9

Lost all my dataIt was a good app. It did what i needed it to, until it updated kicked me out and lost all my data….Version: 2.1.1

Beautiful design isn’t enough :(Like many others, I want to love it. It is beautifully designed and makes it that much more fun to track not so fun symptoms. Since I first downloaded it, it’s been glitchy. From awkward notifications to just completely random (and inaccurate) information, it’s always had some issues - but never enough to motivate me to write a review. Today, though, I’ve been battling the app for a good 20 minutes, just to get locked out of my account. I was just trying to check in, log some symptoms and such. Things I do daily. But it was stuck in the opening logo for a while and, once it finally opened the app, it didn’t have any of the information I’ve been dedicated to put in daily. It was like I wasn’t even logged in. So I tried logging out and now I’m locked out of my account. Mind you, I have my safety questions saved on my notes and the screenshot of the encryption key they give you when you first sign in so I know it’s correct. It’s been extremely frustrating - and the last thing you need when you’ve been PMSing all day!.Version: 2.0.6

Continues to sign you outUseless and unreliable.Version: 2.1.3

Potentially to be great but lacking consistencyI have been in love with tracking my period with the phases of the moon for a long time but it’s not often you find a period tracking app that does both, so when I found this one I was STOKED. I loved the cute little horoscopes, the interface, and the witchy aesthetic of it all, however, it’s never consistent. It feels like it’s always changing to the point where I don’t feel like I’m getting enough benefit from it. At one point you could click on the phase tabs and it would give you insights and little tips on how to work with each phase (nutrition, exercise, etc) and I LOVED that but now it’s disappeared again. Not to mention the fact that I couldn’t sign in to the app for over a month & lost track of where I was in my cycle. I finally got back in and the phase insights are gone, and it’s just really disappointing because I want this app to just work! Potentially could be the best period app ever…. However, reading some of the other reviews about this app selling our data is pretty sketch and I’d like to thank all the reviewers who took the time to investigate that. The search continues for the best witchy period tracking app…*sigh*..Version: 2.1.3

Good for someSo there really isn’t much wrong with the app. It’s pretty to look at and has almost any symptom you could come up with. In theory it’s great. However, the period tracker could use some attention. I had an IUD inserted and I mainly want to keep up with the symptoms and track how it’s affecting me because I’m bad at keeping up with time. I’ve been on my period for going on 4 weeks now so I REALLY want to keep up with how long that lasts and when it started and any breaks I’ve had, but the app won’t let me submit a period that lasts longer than 14 days. Whatever. I’ll leave some gaps and write in the notes? No. Because it says I’m supposed to be ovulating so I can’t possibly be on my period then. Please please please make this inclusive for women who are having issues as well. As awful as it is, periods can last for MONTHS when tampering with hormones. I would love to keep using it, but for now I’m just going to deleted and keep my information stored in my calendar I guess..Version: 2.1.8

Can’t log inI’ve tried multiple times to log in and get taken back to the same page everytime - never moving forward in the process of setting up an account. CS not responding to emails..Version: 2.1.3

MehThey somehow lost my account, and wouldn’t help me find it, I tried every email and every phone number but my account suddenly just was deleted and missing. I had the encryption key but they said that it wouldn’t work without my email…but they claim my email wasn’t registered even though I had the app for months and all my data on there is just gone now. I had to make a completely brand new account. Otherwise I like it, but if my account suddenly gets deleted again then I’m looking elsewhere for something actually stable..Version: 2.1.8

Why the sign up? Not necessary. If it's free for me to use, why do you want any personal info? It's not necessary for my circumstances to keep a backup or anything. I considered this one because it looked slightly less twee and cutsie pie and pastel than the others, but they're all the same - invasively demanding some "sign in" from you. I'm buying a calendar and a marker tomorrow, its the last straw..Version: 1.0.21

Lied about selling dataStardust took the overturning of roe v wade as an opportunity to market their app as the first and only period tracker that will not sell your data. To me i already felt a bit icky about how they continued to advertise their ad by talking about the overturn of roe v wade and used this tragedy as a selling point but i downloaded it anyways because i thought the creators of the app seemed kind of genuine. It turns out that they actually do sell their data and after people have addressed this issue, stardust continues to ignore ppl and pretend like they didn’t do anything, even going as far as to double down on their “end to end encryption” and non data selling claims. There are now news articles about this and stardust has removed the claim that they don’t sell data from their terms and conditions. Regardless of if you are ok with an app selling ur data i think it’s important to note how shady, secretive, and deceitful this app has been and i would suggest going to another app or learning to track ur period on a calendar. I think it is disgusting how they have taken this tragedy in which womens reproductive rights have been stripped and thought to lie to women who were looking for an app that would keep them safe. If you look thru the high rating for the app you will se that there are many bots which are what is enabling this app to continue to have 4+ stars on the app store..Version: 1.0.21

Update ruined the appEver since the roll out of the new design the app has been glitchy. Frequently unable to retrieve my information- app just point blank doesn’t work, adjustments to your period calendar don’t take properly, the cycle predictions aren’t accurate anymore, it has stopped giving the funny messages that go with your cycle day (one of the best parts imo), and I actually don’t find the new design attractive at all. Super disappointed, no longer recommend to friends..Version: 2.1.9

Great app but really missing the daily notifications. The options for emotions are just a bit limited - missing the positive stuff, like feeling powerful and/or present, which is also a feature of the cycle..Version: 2.1.8

Previously enjoyed this appI previously really enjoyed this app. I liked that it was free, that I was able to track my period for the first time ever and that I was able to see a trend in symptoms I’ve been having. The reason I’ve rated it so low is that since their update of the encryption key, I haven’t been able to access the app. They haven’t sent any notice of the encryption: I found out on social media and they will not respond to emails about being unable to access the app. The support email that the app says to email also does not work. For this reason, I would not recommend the app..Version: 2.0.1

Great conceptGet glitchy when my cycle is slightly irregular and constantly logs me out of the app.Version: 2.1.4

Don’t use! Crashed and lost all my dataThis app is garbage! It crashed and erased all my data and nothing I could do got it back. You continually have to sign up with every email address you have just so they can sell your data to other companies. Updates don’t work and there is no tech-support despite sending multiple emails..Version: 2.1.3

Stardust is going backwards…New update has my app glitching and crashing. Can’t remember when my period was, crashes every time I try to log my symptoms. Repeats notifications and gives incorrect insight. ALSO if you’re gonna charge for a premium service (which isn’t clear what you’re gonna have to pay for), where is the free trial…? Feel like the app is going backwards in terms of development….Version: 3.0.3

I tried, I really tried for many monthsI am sad to say that this app has flaws that cannot be overlooked. There was 2 instances where my information was deleted, regardless of me having my encryption key & login information…it was useless. I had to create a new acct and start over. Fine, I continued for about 3 months and I logged in this month, November, to find everything deleted again. Im frustrated. I have to keep record of my cycle because it is irregular, & funny that the message it showed me was “Cannot show graph due to irregular cycle”. Duh! Thats why I need YOU! To track my irregular cycle! I thought, ok fk it, I will start over again… but when I insert the date of my most recent menstruation date, it still gave me the same message. Im done! My cycle plays an important role in my overall health and cannot risk losing over and over again. I really wanted to love it but its just not ready. Perhaps a few years from now I will try again. Best of luck!.Version: 2.1.7

Was greatI found this app really good, with predictions, hormones, advice and insights, but the last few times when entering my cycle after the predicted start date it wigs out and won’t start the cycle later, therefor my next cycle prediction has been incorrect..Version: 2.1.9

Good when signed inThis app is nice, although there are some confusing aspects like maneuvering the period wheel to get to your current day and getting to edit the day. The issue I came across that is the reason why I’m undownloading is this: after updating the app, I’ve been unable to get back into my old account which I had been using for a few months. I tried logging in but it makes a new account as if my previous one didn’t exist. And when I tried logging out and logging in again to my new account, it basically looped and I still couldn’t get in. It’s super annoying and frustrating to lose all that period tracking so I’m just gonna delete the app. It was nice to have all the different options when recording your period, like the blood flow and cravings, but other than that, I’ll just stick to Flo. Really nice concept, and love that my information was kept private, but not worth redoing the whole process every time there’s an update..Version: 2.1.2

Doesn’t work properlyWas a fine app until a couple days ago when it thought I was uploaded to start my period, I didn’t and that’s fine bc I didn’t expect it to be perfect, but I hadn’t put anything for bleeding. Now 2 days later it thinks I’m on my third day of my period despite not putting anything for bleeding these past days and not starting..Version: 1.0.21

Not inclusive for the non-normative cycleI appreciate the lunar involvement with my cycle 🌑 🩸 absolutely divine. However - more often than not I find myself frustrated with the lack of realistic options & cute language & design which stops me from accurately tracking my cycle. For instance I need to be able to track when I have blood clots, and when my period is blood is closer to black or brown. For people with cysts or fibroids - these can happen and I’m disappointed that I feel myself body isn’t represented here. The notes option is not enough to suffice. This month my period is late & i had to go in twice & delete “my symptoms” before the app recognized that I’m late or irregular (another common period experience). It’s nice to have the predictive element to the app but you should be able to turn this on or off OR have the next period just be that - a prediction - and can only be clarified by the app user. Not saved automatically when a period hasn’t happened or will not happen. Im disappointed that an app that clearly wants to be gender neutral & inclusive & spiritual is missing the mark when it comes to bodies that don’t have normative cycles..Version: 1.0.16

What happened?I loved this app! But since the update last week, when I open it, it no longer shows me where my hormones are at or what to expect mood wise etc anymore. Perhaps just some bugs that need to be fixed??.Version: 2.0.1

Gorgeous app but very glitchyI love the concept and design of the app, there’s so much personality and it makes it fun to use. However, it does not track my periods accurately at all and there’s a lot of glitches in the language. Right now it currently says my period should be starting tomorrow based off of the moon phases in the calendar, but the language says otherwise. Furthermore I’ve notice a similar issue with the language in push notifications. It’s almost like they’re on a pre-set cycle, and as someone with a very irregular period that doesn’t always follow this cycle, the notifications do not reflect the changes I make in the app. For example, if I start my period a week before the app predicts, I’ll continue receiving push notifs as if it was still a week out despite me having updated my cycle in the tracker. Hoping for an update to remedy these issues soon, but I’ve been using this app about 3 months now, and have inputted my previous cycle history for the past two years, but it just isn’t adjusting to fit me :( Ux team has some work to do before I can rely on this as my only tracking app and recommend it to friends..Version: 2.0.4

So much potential!!I WISH this app worked consistently but it repeatedly gets stuck on the loading screen and won't open and all my data was deleted with the update which is really frustrating as that data is vital for tracking menstrual health. I was so excited to be able to learn more about my body and the moon and how they interact but this app didn't live up to my expectations despite looking beautiful, the functions fall short unfortunately. Looking forward to these issues being fixed as there's so much potential here!!.Version: 2.0.4

Doesn’t work since the updateAnother one! I also loved this app. It worked, it was funny and pretty. They updated it and it’s not worked since. I emailed them telling them it was broken, and I got a patronising response telling me how to use the app. I sent screenshots and I got asked to log my issues. I’ve had nothing since, no news of updates or bug fixes. I’ve also had many reports that their claim to not sell your data is total bull. So yeh, I’m probably gunna delete this app cause it’s gone to garbage..Version: 2.0.4

Meh after updateThis was a bit of fun for me but the update is making me reconsider. The hormone graph is really hard to read now with gradients and too similar colours. Basically unreadable now. Not a fan of making an account or the security questions, I don’t live in the States so it feels unnecessary - plus why would I give my security answers to some random app?!.Version: 2.0.4

I really wanted to love this appThe premise of this app is fantastic although I was surprised there was no option for TTC. However, there is a mysterious notification constantly showing that I can’t locate and more importantly when I open the app I receive an error message: ‘This is embarrassing. We can’t load your cycle at the moment. Our tech wizards have been alerted and are concocting a solution.’ Please fix, I won’t lose hope!.Version: 2.0.1

Trash that I tried to like for so long but can’tI’ve had this app for almost 3 years now and it’s never not been glitchy. Half the time the interface changes day to day. What’s shown in the app has a mind of its own. Parts that used to be interactive are not all the sudden not and then are randomly sometimes. I have no clue what to expect from this app half the time other than 3 years worth of calendar tracking, which was the only reason I kept using. Today, it randomly made me verify my email and then no longer recognized my account (even though same email I’ve been using) and no data there. IVE LOST ALL DATA. Considering this is a web based profile, how could no data be there?! Just as unpredictable as my entire experience here and while I hope the team contacts me to correct the issue so I can have my data back - I will not rely on this glitchy app ever again. Honestly the most confusing thing I’ve tried to use for the most simple task… look elsewhere or get a paper calendar because this app is barely doing that at minimum..Version: 2.1.1

Glitches all the time since updateAt first, the new update looked great, with a new look and improved login functions. However, it’s been logging me off the app constantly and I can’t access it for no reason. The home page with the moon cycle does not work properly now and just shows a white moon cycle with no info about my period or hormones. I wish they fix this because I really think the app was really good. If it gets fixed I’ll change the rate!.Version: 2.0.1

Stunning design, a lot of problemsI’ve been using this period tracker since June, and I’ve been sticking with it because the design is so beautiful. I love the moon, so having a period tracker that also incorporates the phases of it is so cool to me. I also love the daily forecast of how I’m likely to feel emotionally and physically each day, and the details of what’s going on with my body on each one as well. The problem with this app, however, is that it always seems to be glitching or malfunctioning. For instance, every single month so far, I’ve had moments where the day of my cycle/days until my next period on the home page will be wrong. It will say “period in 12 days” when the calendar is actually showing that it’s in 10. That makes me wonder if my daily forecasts are even accurate to the actual day when this happens. Some days the app won’t even load at all, which is strange, considering I’m always keeping it up to date and have a very new model of phone. It’s frustrating that such a beautiful app that I would otherwise absolutely love can, most of the time, be very finicky in whether or not it wants to fully function. I’m sticking with it in hopes that it runs better in due time, but it’s so disappointing at the moment..Version: 2.0.4

Really good app just not greatI found this app through tiktok and at first I was really skeptical, however this app has such a cool vibe that I have never seen before!! I feel good about the tracking options it’s a super easy way to digest the information presented to me! The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that as a nonbinary person going through a period constantly seeing she/her pronouns being used for me is disheartening. There needs to be an option for gender neutral terminology please..Version: 1.0.21

Terrible app not worth the timeYeah it was good for like 2 wks Then they updated - still with Alllllll my details. Then I’m unable to log in. Even with another email address and writing a few times asking for help can’t get through. The app is useless. Don’t waste your time, they won’t help either if you write to the contact they have listed on their website. Very dissatisfied is an understatement..Version: 2.0.4

A little disappointedI really love how pretty and witchy this app is, but unfortunately it kept restarting and erasing all of my data. I had to find a new tracker because I lost trust after the 3rd time in under a year..Version: 2.1.3

I have mixed feelingsI really liked the look and feel of the app but as of now I feel like the cons out way the pros. I’ll start with the things I liked. As previously mentioned I liked the look of the app. As someone who is into astrology I liked that this played a role in the app. I also like all of the options for cravings, moods and blood flow. It felt like I could truly personalize the way I tracked my period and I was able to track my moods throughout. However, most times when adding a craving or blood flow to the day it will somehow switch to the first day of your period, changing all of your info data for that day and not updating the correct day. That has happened almost every time I use it. It is also a bit confusing and difficult to update your period if it comes early, late or ends earlier then the app predicts. My biggest issue and the one that is making me step away from this app is the fact that after 6 months of use I go to see when I’m going to get my period and it logged me out and won’t let me log in to my existing account. This means that I have no way of looking back on my past periods for the last few months. Not having that information is devastating and honestly super frustrating. I really REALLY wanted to like this app but it is more difficult to use then any other method or app I have tried..Version: 2.1.3

Was amazing. Now unusable.I LOVED this app. Then the developers rushed through an update due to roe v wade and now it is completely unusable and I’ve lost all of my previous data. I applaud the desire to do this, but this reactionary update was clearly WAY too premature and with so many bugs it’s just completely non-functional. So I’ve reluctantly deleted it. The worst thing is that developers are not keeping us updated or responding to complaints. It would be highly valuable to have the old app back while you continue to work on the new one until it is actually ready. Then you might not lose all of your users. Please let us know what is happening! You have a loyal following and could probably keep us all if you just gave us something usable and kept us updated on what is going on..Version: 2.0.2

So many glitches!!I have been using this for months. I have PCOS and I need to be very aware of my periods so I have been using a period tracker for years. When roe v Wade was overturned I switched to this app and painstakingly added every period I had tracked for the last several years to this app before deleting the account on my previous tracker. I love the design of this and it makes tracking my periods extra fun but the app is so glitchy. I had to turn notifications off because it would tell me my period was late and I would check and it wasn’t. Plus so many more incorrect tidbits of info. It wasn’t so bad that I couldn’t ignore it and I was still able to keep track of my info and have it be safe so it was fine. But I just updated the app(because it wouldn’t let me open it without doing so) and it logged me out and started a new account and all of my info is now gone. Years of tracking my symptoms so I could see the trends of my PCOS just gone. And since I deleted my previous account I can’t add get them back. That data was very important since I am in fact trying to get pregnant. I now have no clue what to do about it and it is incredibly frustrating..Version: 2.1.2

Keep getting logged outI’ve been using this app for months now and for some reason it keeps logging me out and losing all my data and it’s making it really frustrating as it’s probably one of the best period apps i’ve used. I love how you guys don’t sell our information but I don’t think i’ll be using it anymore because of getting logged out so much..Version: 2.1.4

UselessI added the dates of my previous periods, but it wouldn’t allow me to get past the first stage because my cycle is irregular. Honestly, I’d rather just use an app that tracks my data, because at least it accepts the fact that people can have irregular cycles..Version: 1.0.21

Everything deleted??Not sure what’s going on but opened the app today and all data has been erased??? Is this going to be fixed? Also, has something happened with a new agreement about data being sold?.Version: 2.0.1

Cute app but lots of issuesThis app is so cute and i love the concept of it! You can tell a lot of thought went into the design of this! Unfortunately, that is about where my compliments on this app end. There are constantly glitches and issues with the app. Half of the time I open it i cant even access my data as the app won’t move past the loading screen, and I know it is not a connection issue on my end cuz my phone will be working perfectly fine otherwise. I’ve been using this app for a few months now, and I just opened the app to see where I am at in my cycle, and it apparently logged me out? When i enter my information to try and log back in it just has me creating a new account, so now all of my tracking information is seemingly gone. I’ve seriously never been so disappointed in an app. My fiancé and I are trying to get pregnant, and now I don’t have any of my past information to track my cycle to help us. Really regretting not just downloading ‘flo’ like all of my friends told me to do in the first place. I just thought this app was cute and i never expected all of my information to just disappear 🙃.Version: 2.1.1

Would be 5 ⭐️ but the bugs/glitches are ruining itWhen I first downloaded Stardust it was a game changer I absolutely loved the abundance of information the simplicity but complexity I learnt so much it quickly overtook other tracking apps I’ve used HOWEVER since the update, which at first was amazing even MORE information seed cycling, foods you crave / should eat at certain parts of your cycle it was amazing however the app has become super glitchy and buggy I can’t get access to ANY of that information now the screen is blank, if your period is late and you log bleeding as a daily symptom it doesn’t automatically adjust your period which just seems like poor coding it should be automatic all the things I loved about the app are glitchy/buggy if these get fixed it would be perfect…. I have also emailed and reached out on social media to see how I can fix these issues and no response so hoping the creators & coders read the reviews on here and then hopefully the bugs & glitches can be fixed to restore it back to the incredible app it was when I first downloaded.Version: 2.0.4

Love the app…but kind of frustratedOut of all the period apps I have used in the past, this one has been my favorite. I am a fan of the layout, the information it allows you to add, and it gives you interesting information about your cycles. That being said the app has it’s glitches. Every few weeks I keep getting logged out, which wouldn’t be a big deal but then it takes me a while to get my information back. The same thing just happened again…except this time it is not accessing any of my past information. It keeps trying to get me to start from the beginning. I liked this app so much I kind of became to reliant on it to check on my cycle which now leaves me in a spot where I don’t remember the dates to put into the app. I’d like to continue using this app, but I am getting to the point where I am kind of frustrated. I appreciate what the app stands for, especially how it protects users information and does not sell our data. It is a great model for a period tracker, but I do not want to continue stressing over whether I’ll be completely logged out of my account the next time I go to open it..Version: 2.1.4

It was really cute and helpful at first but…When I first downloaded this app, it was mainly for privacy issues and concerns with data sharing. This app was recommended to me by someone I follow on Twitter, and when I first downloaded it, it was really good. I really liked the concept as it was very cute; however, as I used this app more, I realized that it doesn’t save the entries or symptoms that I put in for each day… like it completely deletes it every time even though it said it saved it. the thing is… I don’t even log myself out— I just stay logged in, but for some reason the app likes to log me out automatically which is very annoying because I think that’s probably why my changes are not being saved. Also, it’s not as accurate in terms of predictions as what my other app was, which is kind of disappointing because I was really looking forward to using this app in the long run..Version: 2.1.8

DisappointmentAt first I was super excited to use this app! But it has so many bugs and glitches it’s so frustrating. I downloaded it because they made the promise that it doesn’t share your data after the Roe v Wade overturn, but it turns out they do share your data as well. On top of that, the app has been logging me out constantly. It’s also inaccurate with my period despite the fact that I put a year’s worth of data into it from my old app. I’ll be switching back to my old app..Version: 2.1.3

Good app. however there are a few bugs that need to be addressed.I recently switched from flo to stardust and so far the app has been pretty good, however there are a few bugs that need to be fixed. for example, i live in australia, and today is wednesday the 13th of july (from my understanding this app was made in america and america is a day behind australia). when i open the app, it says that it is wednesday the 13th in the home page, however if i go to add symptoms/period it will say the day is tuesday when it’s actually wednesday (if that makes sense). it’s only a small issue but it does make me confused and sometimes i end up logging my symptoms/period on the wrong day. other than that i’ve barely had an issues with the app and with a little more fine tuning and interface tweaks i think this app will be perfect..Version: 2.0.2

Broken. Needs serious updates.Don’t bother downloading this app until it gets some serious updates. I have been trying to use it for 3 months, hoping they would fix the glitches that make it basically unusable. Eg, calculating length of cycle incorrectly, days of the week not matching dates (click on Thursday the 4th and then it comes up with Wednesday the 4th), daily notifications that my period is late even though I’ve logged it, adding new symptoms deletes previously added ones, sync with friends straight up doesn’t work, and sometimes the app won’t even open/load at all. I tried to persevere, really I did. But now I’m switching to another app because there is no update in sight and it has become a time waster and too frustrating. Super disappointing. I was so excited when I discovered this app. Maybe I’ll check it out in a year when there’s a chance it’s fixed..Version: 2.0.4

Not reliable for fertility trackingI’m using this app to track my cycle for IVF, because I love the look and feel. However - and this is Massive - every time you update it it messes up my period log which has real issues for my IVF planning. Right now, it’s updated and says I’m on my period - when I’m not. Please, PLEASE can you fully test updates before launching them. It really creates huge problems (and financial costs) if the logs don’t work as advertised..Version: 3.0.1

Was great but i have something to sayI loved this app ! it was so fun to sync my cycles to the moon as that’s what i work with ! however since the new updates i can no longer get into the app. i sign in and it says “failed to load period logs” and doesn’t give me any other option on signing in or any reason WHY my data cant be opened. every time i create a new account it comes up with the same failed logs message ????? why ??.Version: 2.1.9

Great but could use some more featuresThis app is fab, changed to it after finding out they didn’t sell your data! It’s great being able to see friends cycles too and how we match up and what days to avoid 😂 the only thing I would say, is there is no option to add ‘pregnant’ to it. So I keep being told I’m on my period but I’m not, and my cycle will more than likely change after birth, and there doesn’t seem to be an easy way of changing this either..Version: 2.2.1

Good Idea but lost its wayI have loved this app since starting my cycle tracking journey. However as time went on it became more and more glitchy. Which I have stuck through as I have loved it so much. To now see the dreaded monthly subscription feature be added may be the decider for me. Sadly due to the number of glitches ( app looks different every time I load it) I don’t feel it is even worth paying for right now. I would 100% stick with it while these issues were ironed out though if it weren’t for the plus payed version. Also don’t think monthly subscriptions are the way forward. Would much rather pay a one off life time access fee. In this climate who has money to commit each month for all these apps? Not me. Will be sad to not use again, as the insights were genuinely helpful, and nothing else compared. Hope this feedback is considered. I LOVE THE IDEA! & have loved how quirky and sassy it is, but just can’t pay a monthly fee to use!.Version: 3.0.3

Latest update is completely brokenUsed to love this app, but the latest update has killed it. issues logging in with the new encryption key, constant 404 errors when trying to add my email to my account, lost half of my symptom data and attributed the other half to the wrong days, and while all my data is visible in the calendar, the moon phases on the homepage are all blank and telling me to add a period to get started. the email address for support in the error messages is incorrect and just bounces back to my outbox, and the in-app link to contact them just tells me to try again later. if i could revert back to an older version of the app i definitely would, it’s so broken now that it’s nearly unusable..Version: 2.0.1

????I found this app through TikTok and everyone was recommending it as it is a safe app that doesn’t sell ur data but I’m having troubles with opening the app. It told me to Sign In with Apple when I pressed on the app and I did so and added my info but after that the screen froze and wouldn’t do anything I trued going on the app again but the Apple login button disappeared. I tried deleting and re Installing but still no luck :(.Version: 2.0.2

Not openingThe app used to work but I had to keep logging in randomly and now Right at the start stardust come up then up pops an error cannot load period logs, I then press ok where it just goes back and cycles again. Not happy with it.Version: 2.1.9

DO NOT USEBeen using this app for about 8 months and loved it. Switched over TWO YEARS of tracking into the app only for it to crash two weeks ago. I lost everything. I am beyond upset as anyone who uses a natural bc method knows how tracking is vital and now I completely have to start from scratch. DO NOT USE.Version: 2.1.3

Deleted all my data, i enjoy the conceptI wrote the rest of the review a while ago but I wanted to start this off with everything I had initially inputted is now gone. This app has been fun but has not been reliable. Up until this full deletion of my cycle, this is how I felt: I really like the way this app is set out and I think it’s a really fun and a different way of keeping track of your cycle. The only problems I have encountered are that it’s not very irregular cycle friendly. I use the contraceptive implant so my cycle is everything but regular, however the notifications the app gives never seem to line up with what I have inputted. It’s only a small thing but with a couple other small things like less accurate predictions compared with other apps, it certainly gives room for improvement. But I cannot wait to see these improvements come! {NOTE: Since deleting everything I wouldn’t be so quick so recommend due to unreliability}.Version: 2.1.2

It logged me outLogged me out and lost all my info 😠😠 EDIT-changed to 3 stars, got all my stuff back, it's a little glitchy but i'm sure it will get better.Version: 2.1.2

Cant connect with friends :(This app was free and I still feel scammed. It takes a double degree from Harvard to use it; but it take a rock to the head to comprehend any of the star sign stuff. I liked this app. I liked it a lot. before the update; my acquaintances and I (grammar hon hon *eyebrows*) used this app, we were ovulating, we would stand in a circle and clap around the ovulating person then preform a ritual stylised like Midsommar crossed over with shrek. Very serious stuff. But now it just doesn’t multiplayer :(, I cant connect with my friends :(.Version: 2.0.1

Can’t log inI haven’t been able to log in and haven’t gotten anything back from support regarding this issue. The text message doesn’t send to me when I put my phone number in to verify it’s me, and I’ve made 3 new accounts trying to log on through other potential emails I might have created my account with..Version: 2.1.4

I hope it improvesI had previously downloaded this app around April 2022 and I absolutely loved it - I recommended it to all the people in my life who gets a period. With the update in June 2022, I was disappointed to see some of the updates — the hormone graph had changed from simple lines to more of a 3D look? I am finding the colours used in this updated version hard to see/decipher, although I do really like the inclusion of the different menstrual phases I.e luteal etc. I’ve been finding with the new update that the app is glitchy, and not all the elements load all the time, every time e.g. one day the hormone chart won’t load, the next day you can’t move around the moon circle chart etc I really really love the idea of this app and would definitely consider having it as a paid app (not subscription), however at the moment I’m finding myself using it less and less, and tracking my cycle with different apps as a backup in case this one doesn’t work out for me. To the developers: please consider bringing back elements of previous versions, or creating an update that isn’t too involved (so it doesn’t glitch) because you have such an amazing concept with this app and would love to see it succeed!!.Version: 2.0.4

New Update has left my app not workingI was so obsessed with the app, but ever since this new update - nothing loads or works anymore. Hopefully it will fix as I really love to use this app. Cute messages and generally easy to use! I love that it links in with the moon cycles… but would really love for it to work for me again 🙏🏼.Version: 2.0.1

Needs more optionsI have endometriosis and unregulated periods. Wouldn’t let me get past the calendar section as they needed to be tracked regularly on the calendar which I’m unable to do. Wanted to try it out since seeing it all over social media but it’s completely useless if you have periods that aren’t regular.Version: 1.0.21

Lost all my dataI went to get into the app and suddenly it’s asking me to log in or sign up but only showing me the screens they get you to sign up with even though I already have an account. I think there must have been an update and I’m pretty sure I’ve lost all my data… I really liked it before this and would have given it 4 stars, but now that my data’s lost I’m thinking of deleting the app since I don’t have a use for it… I had even backtracked and input data from about 2018 from my other app so I have now lost YEARS worth of tracking….Version: 2.1.2

I like this app but...It often won't load or erases my data.... i have an irregular cycle anyways, and it's worked all along... now it's telling me it can't work/track because my cycle is irregular. please fix this because otherwise i love it... it's super witchy and beautiful to look at..Version: 2.1.4

Erased years of logged periodsFrustrated. Spent a good amount of time logging my period from a different app to this one. Their new update erased everything and now I’ve lost years of tracking..Version: 2.1.4

Lied about encryption, sold dataIf you downloaded the app before the 6/26 and 6/27 update, Stardust has already given your data to MixPanel. Their encryption wasn’t active until the update AND even after the update, your personal encryption key is being stored in stardust’s API which they said they wouldn’t do. It said in their terms of service that they will flat out give your data to law enforcement regardless of whether or not they’re legally required. Even the updated TOS states that they collect your personal info, location data, IP address, etc. But they already gave away your data, so it doesn’t really matter. Not only this, but they’re incorrectly using the term “end-to-end encryption” which isn’t even sufficient to protect your data even if the app had actually been encrypted since day one like they said. To add to this, I constantly had bugs with this app. My cycle wouldn’t load, my moon phase wouldn’t load, it’s clunky and not very intuitive. Don’t trust this app! Response to developer: I find it telling that you’ve ignored the bulk of my review in your response. It’s also untruthful to say “we have never sold data or shared data with law enforcement and never will” when your updated policy literally says, “We may disclose your anonymized information to law enforcement or a legal process or a request for cooperation by a government or other entity, when legally required.”.Version: 2.0.1

HorribleLost all my data and i cant get it back. not trust worthy at all !!!.Version: 2.1.3

Recent data issueI was loving this app all summer and this past month something happened when I noticed I wasn’t getting my daily notifs anymore. I couldn’t log back in to my account and I couldn’t tell if it was because I couldn’t remember if it was my email or phone, either way I lost all my info. I signed up again with my email to start all over cause I did truly love all the details, but everyday it logs me back out and I don’t know what’s happening. Please fix this!!! This was my favourite 😭😭😭😭.Version: 2.1.3

Keeps CrashingI’m not sure why, but Stardust crashes every time I open it after only a few seconds. I have heard great things about this app and I want to love it, but I can’t even run the app! I have tried to uninstall the app and redownload it a number of times but the same thing happens every time. Advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated..Version: 3.0.16

What happened? My account is gone?I’m not sure what to say, went to go in an log my cycle and I was signed out, and when I tried to sign back in I had to start fresh? What happened? I enjoyed the look and layout. Probably the only period tracker I found was pretty accurate with my period cycles. Disappointed my account has been wiped clean to having to start again…..Version: 2.1.3

App privacy information very iffyLove the app itself. However very unsure about the owner/developers words on passing over information to authorities at will without legal request. I am in Australia but I feel you need to be clearer for those in the US. Your unclear privacy policy and information you have provided could lead to incarceration and death. Do better! Support women!.Version: 2.0.0

It’s starting to annoy meI am here mostly to know when it’s a full moon but now it is logging me out and not letting me back in. It telling me that my period logs are gone or smth. I created a new account and now but it keep telling me I’m timing out and it’s not even working. Please fix this issue..Version: 2.1.9

Would be a five but so glitchy! This app could be absolutely amazing as it tracks realy well and it’s so interesting having the mood cycles with it etc, but it’s so glitchy, after adding a friend I’ve not been able to use it properly and now when I download it it just has the opening screen!! So frustrating please fix you bugs and glitches so I can use this lovely app.Version: 2.1.1

Since the updateI fell in love with tracking my period on this app before the update. It used to give funny little quotes and encouragements and it was super easy to read exactly what was going on in my body. Since the update it's just been the most frustrating app to use. Most of the time it won't upload any of my information, it's deleted months of period tracking and the app is harder to read than the previous design. I wish the update never happened because I truely miss the design and using this app. I've had to download another app recently to do what this app used to do so well for me. I hope the developers try and fix the bugs because I'd really love to use it again..Version: 2.1.3

Glitching and updates !!?I love this app but recently there have been so many crashes updates and glitches. I lost all my cycle information from 2 years and had to start again Otherwise I adore this!! Please fix the bugs as it’s the best app out there.Version: 2.1.8

DisappointingNot the app to use if you have an irregular cycle. Won’t let you get past the setting up point. Disappointing.Version: 1.0.20

Cycle days offShowing cycle day 14 for ovulation as a week before next period ??? Ur cycle starts on the first day of your period not your last day of your period, so when you enter your ovulation it’s a week off ...Version: 2.0.5

A good app but doesn’t update periodsI switched to this app because i heard it was safer to use (that it didn’t sell data). overall i think this app is quite good, the symptoms and moods have a good amount of options to help you note down and understand your body more. it also provides a lot of information which is really cool. however it doesn’t track your period correctly, i think it’s just a bug. when you track your period (as in put that you’ve gotten your period) it doesn’t show that in the cycle. i also noticed that on the calendar, it doesn’t push back your period if you haven’t logged it yet. i’m hoping it’s just a bug and they can fix it, because i think this app looks really cool and has good information, it just kinda needs the main part..Version: 2.0.4

What happened?I was loving this app but the new UI is confusing and hard to use. I can’t find anywhere on the home page that tells me what day if my cycle I am on. Adding symptoms too is frustrating as I click a past day on the calendar and click plus but it ends up adding tj todays date..Version: 2.0.1

Don’t trust their social media marketingLet’s talk about the major issue. All over social media Stardust is claiming to be the only period tracking app that protects its users. This is completely false. Multiple places in their terms of services they mention they will give data to law enforcement and will comply with legal requests to protect themselves. They claim to be encrypting on June 29 but that won’t protect your data all that much if law enforcement asks for it. These people are marketing on a time of fear and concern to take advantage of said fear to get more customers. I’m appalled at their actions and do not recommend them. At least other companies don’t lie about selling your data. On top of that unlike most period trackers you have to email them directly to actually get your data removed you can’t just delete it yourself. Other than the glaring breach of trust this app is usable. It’s fairly flowery in language, hard to adjust and work, and not really customizable. If you have anything other than a perfect period cycle it won’t really work for you..Version: 1.0.21
