✓ As much as I’d love to give this app a 5 review, it’s not there yetAs much as I’d love to give this app a 5 review, it’s not there yet. The app is simple and easy to use, however, depending on where you live there’s not a lot of restaurant recommendations available, specially if you compare it to Find Me Gluten Free, which I’ve used world-wide and it’s FREE. This is due to Gluten Dude app being new, so no knock on it. I’m sure with time this app will continue to grow and more content will be uploaded. Until then I don’t find it useful for my area and haven’t had luck traveling with it either..Habertooth 2Version: 3.8

✓ Extremely expensive for what you getToo expensive. The forums are not very active and the restaurant listings are okay, but they didn’t really help me. Like all the gf apps I’ve tried, I do better with a quick internet search and a few phone calls to the establishment directly. I have super severe celiac and can only go to dedicated gf places (and any dedicated place that uses oat flour is usually out of the question too unless the restaurant is educated about celiac reactions to oats, which is rare)— so my options are doubly limited. However, I travel a lot and I thought this app might help for finding places in addition to having a little internet community of fellow celiacs. But again: forum isn’t active enough to justify that price tag, and neither is the list of businesses. I would pay a one-time price for access ($5 as things stand right now, and maybe $10 if it were more active), but not a dollar more than that..JentropyVersion: 3.5

✓ Great idea, needs a lot of workThis app is SO needed for those of us in the celiac community and a great idea but I’ve run into too many instances where it’s inaccurate that I can’t rely on it. More than once I have found a restaurant or a beer seller in the app, made the trip there, only to find the place has closed. I know and love the Gluten Dude’s blog and I know his heart is in the right place with this. And I can imagine it’s Herculean if not impossible to constantly check every listing to ensure it’s still there. But until he can get the support and team needed to keep it accurate and up-to-date, (Google listing API maybe?) I can’t keep paying $50 annually. It’s failed me too many times..SpruGirlVersion: 3.8
