✓ $156 a year is a bit muchI’m sure this works just fine however I could not even experiment with one photo without signing up for the free week and then get charged $2.99 per week. Folks that’s $156 -$.52 a year and of course they’ll add tax on top of that. think what a professional photographer could do for you and your pictures for $156. I know they say you can cancel easily, but if that was really the case, a business would do it the other way around. You get a free week and at the end of that week they send you an email and ask if you want to purchase the premium edition. They know that most people will not remember to cancel and so they will collect $156 a year until people realize that they are being charged. Yikes!!! ✓ Free functionality not intuitive to findThe app starts with collage function including two photo collages which are not free and continually push for signing up for paid premium version. The free functionality is strictly on the secondarily merge tab. There’s no real indication of this distinction other than trial and error as to what doesn’t bring up the subscription window. I’m all for freemium model with free and premium features but not providing even some cursory distinction is a poor user experience at best and manipulative to less tech savvy users at worst. ✓ Can’t use the app if you don’t buy a subscriptionThe app begins by recommending you upgrade to a premium subscription. You can decline if you’d like to use the free version and just edit a few pictures. Then, once you’ve allowed access to your photos, the app will not let you make even one collage without signing up for a subscription. Yes, you can use the 7 day free trial and then just cancel it if you want. But I’m not interested in having to go through all that for a few picture edits. ✓ PicMerger v1.0.7 - simple app but over-complicatedUI is quite poorly designed for a simple app that just join a number of photos together to make one. First of all, remove the title from the menu bar as it confuse the user as an added option or at least use a different font. What does the three line button do from the list of added photos, there’s a delete button but what is the other, it’s disabled. The subscription tiers is ridiculous..Version: 1.0.7

✓ It does work but it’s hard work to make it workUpdated review 17 Nov 21 The developer contacted me and I took the trouble because of this to have another go at this software. A few simple instructions would make all the difference, but as there aren’t any and most of the screens are black or greyed out, when in fact they’re actually active, means there’s a hell of a lot of guesswork & experimentation before you actually get it to do what you want want. Just telling people that after they’ve selected a couple of pictures to join together you have to tap them and turn them into pictures with a big tick on before you can go on would have revolutionised my experience. So my revised opinion is that it is quite useful and free software which you can use but would be four or five star if there were instructions..Version: 1.3.1

✓ Tricky tactics to make you pay moreIn order to use some basic features you need to start the free trial. After a week you’ll be charged $3 weekly (an amount that you wouldn’t notice). You’ll completely forget to cancel it. And they’ll make a lot on you. Every time you want to edit a photo, u get hit with a fake message from the “CEO” asking for a review. It’s no wonder they have so many. The functionality of the app is pretty bad. The tools are so minimal. I haven’t found a solid editing app for photos but I can promise this one is not what you’re looking for..Version: 1.5.0
✓ Great appThis app is great to make collages and things of that sort but when you want to add text to it , it is not sitting on it correctly so I have had to download my collage from the app to my phone to another app to add text on it for my daughters bday flyer, other than that i’ll say the app is working just fine that is something i could’ve saved time and did though so i give 3 stars!.Version: 1.4.4

✓ Very useless appThe app is useless, you can move and resize pics by yourself, the app does it for you, u can’t rearrange the pics except you delete and add the pictures all over again.
