✓ Charged multiple timesI went to buy a pass for me and my wife, and when I first tried to do so it gave me an error message telling me to try again. I then tried again and was able to purchase two passes, but when I went to my passes realized I had been charged 3 times. After reaching out to Yodel support, they said that “Yodel Pass is not authorized to determine if a refund can be issued.” Which is absolutely ridiculous and infuriating since clearly this is a problem with the app and has happened before (look at the rest of these reviews!!).Version: 5.9

✓ Useless appI have tried many times, over two years, to purchase day passes for parking at a local state park, or to buy the MA Resident Annual Pass. All these times the app has been useless. The map location fails to know where I am, despite me giving it access, or simply accept a payment for a day pass that I needed (never works). I wanted to pay for parking yesterday and it failed to do its basic task despite me trying for 15 minutes, so I risked it and parked without paying the fee knowing I might get a ticket. That’s how much faith I had in the app, willing to pay 4x more out of frustration. I find myself now logging into the my state’s DCR website to pay for the annual pass to avoid using this app for the rest of the year. Developer, please, do a broad user acceptance testing (UAT) to make sure that your application’s features actually work. Failing to perform its basic tasks loses customer’s trust, limiting your scope and reach..Version: 5.15

✓ Wrong license plate in app.The app shows my email address where my license plate should be. It does not have an edit button. You can’t contact Yodel and MassDCR can’t edit the license plate. They adviced me to send a letter for a refund and buy another pass. Really???.Version: 5.8
✓ No way to show existing passesI’m a resident of another state that is now using this awful app. If you buy a pass from the state parks site, there is no way to show it in Yodel. Using Yodel is undependable at best, so you’re forced to use the regular state DNR or Parks site, but then no way to load your passes in the app. Kudos to the sales team for this app - you’ve clearly hoodwinked multiple states in to buying vaporware. Now put the same effort in to actual app development & support!.Version: 5.15

✓ Mass State ParksSo here is my review you can’t buy a season pass through the app.. you have to go to the DCR website and redirect to the yodel sight.. once you pay for the pass you then have to link your account to the app.. which honestly should be automatically linked if you buy a pass.. so 3 steps to get a season pass.. I hope the state has extra staff to help people through this process that know what they are doing...Version: 5.8

✓ Forced App-based system is horridApp is required for parking at my local state park. I’m having issues with the app and I don’t always have my phone charged. The park doesn’t support cash or card payments anymore so being forced to this app incurs complications for me to enjoy the state parks. Horrible and discriminates those who don’t have wifi or have app access. Apps such as these should recognize these issues and work with clients to support flexible payment systems. 0 stars, and make payments more assessable!.Version: 5.15

✓ Not ready for prime time.The state park I am at uses this junk app for firewood purchases. I tried buying two bundles of wood. After 10 minutes of farting around with a phone in the woods I now have two transactions each for two bundles and no interface or contact info for reversal. Terrible experience. Terrible UI. It collected my info on 1 page and then showed me 5 state parks on another beginning page, then it ends there. Dead end. We all know there’s more than 150 state parks in Massachusetts. The app says ‘plan a trip’ but how can you -when they only show you 5 of the 150?! I entered multiple state parks and it was unresponsive and just blank. This is an Awful app, non intuitive, not helpful and not interactive to find anything to plan. There’s no help, no faq, no info, no tips…Just a Dead end. Deserves no stars. ✓ Constantly logs me outI used this to get the MA state park pass. The app constantly logged me out and many state parks are in areas with poor reception so it’s not possible to access the annual pass I purchased. This is the second year they have used this app and no improvements have been made. Very frustrating..Version: 5.15
