✓ Deserves No StarsI cannot backup to iCloud. Each time I try to do so, I get an error message. I am forced to enter a title, but it can only be used once. If used again, there is a notice that it is a duplicate, and it will not let me enter it. The dates of my entries are incorrect. I have to remember to change the date after adding my entry because the entry is added for the day before. I cannot uninstall and reinstall the app because I will lose my entries since I can back up my journal, so that I will lose all my data. There is no way to contact the developer to report issues. Entries for December 2021 are listed under December 2022. Entries will not list by date. January 2021, December 2022, February 2022 is how my entries are listed..Version: 8.7
✓ GoodOnly rating so that they won’t bug me anymore. Constantly asking ruins set up. How come I can’t edit activities when its an option in settings.Version: 8.8
✓ The app is ok. But annoying review requestThe app works ok. Simple But the request for review every time you make a note is annoying and I will delete the app if it continues past the first day of use. Change that and I will rate this better..Version: 8.7
✓ Greet BUT…I love being able to write my journal entry easily and this app fulfills that. The big problem is the lack of auto-correct or any grammatical correction of any kind..Version: 9.2
✓ Very buggy and unusableThis app might have potential but I cannot honestly determine it’s potential as I encountered multiple issues. But the potential for potential is the reason I gave it the second star. One problem was trying to backup to iCloud. I received an error repeatedly. “Error saving record… Cannot create new type backUpList in production schema”. I attempted to use the voice recording or transcription option (within an entry started as a written entry the voice option did not record audio instead attempted to transcribe what I was saying). However, the apps ability to transcribe is practically non-existent. Although it asked and was granted access to send data to Apple and to access the microphone, I only ever got a single word to save into the journal entry. And it was a word I didn’t even say. A few times it recognized and correctly transcribed what I was saying only to delete that text and not reappear even after closing the recording using the check mark in the top right of the box. The app crashed when I went to add a link to a photo via the link icon at the very top right. That’s when I restarted the app and wrote this review. Additionally, I did not know it was possible to disable spell check or auto correct but the app was highly capable of both. Though I don’t always appreciate apple’s auto correct feature I apparently utilize it often and it’s presence is sorely missed in the app. iPhone 11 Pro iOS 15.3.1 App version 6.2.Version: 6.2
✓ Decent App - issue with password protectionThe app is pretty good, nice features. My main reason for using the app - it was passcode protected. But there is a bug. If you have your phone unlocked and the app is running in the background, it allows the user to view diary entries - no passcode needed ! There are other apps out there - that ask for the passcode anytime you try to view the diary content. Fix this issue and it’s a 4.5 star app, with this issue it is unusable..Version: 7.2
✓ Too many bugsCould be a useful app but just so many simple bugs. UX is poor too. Using it is a real chore due to simple issues in the editor. iCloud backup shows an error too!.Version: 8.8
✓ Just got this todayWill I got this app and I can add The video and Audio should be a bit longer then 20 seconds ! As it would be nice to add a video that was a special event to enter it in your journal for safe keeping , haven’t add any photos as it doesn’t state how many photos you can add? ✓ Yay lock works but bugs!!!I found out how it locks basicly you Have to go to setings then tap sucurty!then lock it and if you want you can back it up to icloud or restore the app but it alwas says a erro when you try to restore it or Backup it!!!.Version: 9.2
✓ Unwieldy, pitifully inadequate. But free.Most irritating of all the faults of this (completely free) app is the fact that predictive text and autocorrect do not function within. You can only choose one mood and one activity per entry. Seems silly to have to write multiple entries for the same day. Warns you CONSTANTLY that you’re not backing up to the cloud. Yeah? No. I said no. Please stop asking. There are additional repetitive and constant reminders popping up at all times. I didn’t find this app useful at all. Pretty annoying..Version: 5.3

✓ Audio recording doesn’t workI downloaded this app specifically for the audio recording aspect and it shuts down every time I hit start recording. I’ve closed and reopened the app multiple times and it flat out doesn’t work. Disappointed as I was looking forward to that functionality..Version: 8.8

✓ It could be better.The app is a little glitchy and some things could be better designed. It works ok and I like that it has a lot of options for how to journal. I just wish the typing area was cleared and you could paste text..Version: 8.7

✓ No help. I am lock, no way to contact for helpThis app is great and I would have put 5 stars if I had an help and hability to recover my pin. I used their security and cannot find a way to change my pin. I forget it and to change it I need to enter it! Also I do not have all my entries appearing with the others entries I have to enter the month I want to see all the entry for that month. ✓ Good Journal No iCloud BackupThis journal as a whole beats Apples Journal. I’ve been trying to inform Apple about their flaws but nothing changes. The only issue here I have is the error message that I receive every time I go and try to save my work. I think everything of mine is saved but who knows. Wow if someone reads it I hope that you don’t fall asleep after the first page or two. I get it and understand that this is a free app… but it would be nice if all features….Version: 8.8
✓ Had such high hopes…So I had such high hopes. There’s a lot of things about this that makes it very confusing. This includes backdating, editing, structural navigation, and the thing that I wanted the most was- backup on iCloud. So far I’m not sure if all the nuisance is worth enough to keep using this. I wish I could include a picture, but during iCloud upload, it always gives me a warning message.. then it shuts down. Please fix this. ✓ Still in search of the perfect journal. :(At first i thought i had found my favorite journaling app…it worked great for the first couple of entries and then it happened..i spent about an hour writing an entry and all of a sudden i couldn’t do anything on the page, it just froze up. So, i got out and went back in..Your guessed it all the time and effort of details on the page and the whole page was gone, everything but the title…i wanted to cry i was so upset….. UPDATE…is was the driver in the app that was the problem.. I didn’t “save” my work, therefore i lost it. All is well now!! I am very happy with this app. 🙂.Version: 8.8
✓ Private but AggravatingPretty user friendly. No autocorrect which makes things more difficult for particular people like myself. Very straightforward. No real frills, which I like. I do have to say that the fact that my entries seem to be getting cut off is extremely aggravating, and it doesn’t seem like it’s a specific number of characters allowed issue. It just… stops letting me type at random. Sometimes I have to make 2 or 3 entries just to get all my thoughts out. It’s nice that it has a passcode for privacy. Overall, it’s a free app. It works. ✓ Videos need to be longerI was not told until afterwards that the video could only be 20Seconds long. In my very first video for my very first entry I made a five minute video. It was my introduction for my Diary. I had very important things to say for that very first entry. I wish I knew that there were only 20 seconds that I could put in and then I may not of chosen this particular diary..Version: 6.4
✓ App won’t let me backup my journalI just downloaded app and started my first day of journal. App won’t let me backup my journal to iCloud or sync it. Keep getting error message. ✓ Difficult to manageI had high hopes. But I am just going to use an IOS Note as a tracker. There is some odd glitch that makes the app repeatedly ask if I want to backup to my cloud. But if I say yes, I get a complex error message. Ok, fine I can be limited to one device. But then it constantly freezes and it also is difficult to just simply add facts for today. It would be great if you could set your fields as a template so you could add an entry based on the same data points for each entry..Version: 8.3
✓ RemindersI can’t select my own time to enter a reminder. The only option is the current time. That doesn’t make any sense, if I want a reminder for earlier in the day to record my progress For some reason my entries are going on the wrong dates and I haven’t found a way to move them to the correct date..Version: 9.0
