Version 1.322 December 2020The long wait is finally over, we finally got the weather! And it works as text, images, symbols, and charts!
Widgy has also been internationalized, which means that we can translate the app to other languages. At the moment the app has been translated into Croatian and Korean. If you wanna see Widgy in your language, you can help with translations!
Smart Symbols are a thing now. If you're not familiar with that term, smart symbols are dynamic symbols that reflect some data and bind images/symbols to that data. For example, you can use the battery smart symbol, and the symbol will adapt to your battery percentage. No more messages/unicode hacks needed!
Speaking of Symbols, go to Apple SF Symbols and scroll to the bottom. We now have colored SF Symbols.
Text data sources got a few upgrades too!
You can now display your current city. That comes in handy with Weather, doesn't it?
Date and Time now have the option to manually enter the desired date/time, but don't type in seconds, cause that won't work as expected.
Last but not least, we have a daily horoscope, if that's your thing.
Some bugs have also been squashed, and some things improved:
• Health should now show data more reliably (note that there still might be some cases where data is not showing correctly, but should generally be better than before)
• Sun And Moon data have been revamped once more

10 Times The Precision Everywhere
You remember the old frame and scale steps right? Well, there’s another now! Yep, and it’s what you have been asking for for so long, it’s one tenth of the smallest step you had before. It’s so good, that now the family is Large, Medium, Small, Micro step. Precise enough?
Well, guess what, the rotation button, now gets affected by the same thing. You can move the rotation by one degree at a time if you are selected on micro step. If that doesn’t satisfy you...
SF Symbols is a Big Library, who said you can’t get more?
What happens, if you get just SF Symbols? A limited library. What happens, if you get SF Symbols, Google Material Icons, Font Awesome, and a couple more? Yep, more customizable widgets, with more opportunities. Some of these icons might look... unique... but I promise you, they are going to really help with your widgets. Especially ones with Bluetooth icons made of text.
You can do it once, and again, again until it’s a Pattern
Patterns are now an image source. They might be a little bit repetitive, but paired with a blend mode, they can make amazing widgets. Actually, you don’t need a blend mode to make a beautiful widget with a beautiful design. But, that’s your choice.
A webpage in a widget
Have you ever wondered what a webpage (or a map) looked like inside a widget? Well, it looks okay actually, sometimes pretty good. However, remember that these are memory hungry items that refresh every time that we scale them (because of the nature of how they work). Also, the webpage source might not work on some websites again because of the nature of how they work.
JavaScript Coding In A Widget
If we are going to put a webpage in a widget, we should put a webpage’s scripts into a widget. That’s right, you can code JavaScript into a widget for any of your text needs.
More Sun and More Moon
Sun and Moon now have dedicated sections in the text data tab. There is a lot of new data here, and some of things we already had, now organized into one place: Day Length, Moon Age, Moon/Sun Azimuth, Moon/Sun Distance, Moon/Sun Elevation, Moon Illumination, Moon/Sun Max. Elevation, Moon Phase, Moon/Sun Transit, Moon/Sun Rise/Set (without seconds). Whoa, that’s a lot, I don’t even know what a couple of those are.
