✓ Sometimes it works properly, sometimes it doesn’t!I had the older version in my old home many years ago and stopped using it because it was useless. In a new home with a new cinema system with the latest version and it’s a lottery what it will turn on and what it will turn off. ✓ Doesn’t work, have to pay to transfer to new deviceAs many other reviews have stated, this app barely works on iOS 16 - it hangs and crashes constantly, and you’re lucky you might be able to do one thing before it hangs and you have to restart it. Also, if you buy a new device and transfer your apps to it, you have to pay ($99) again. Doesn’t this violate Apple’s terms of service? ✓ FraudI don’t know how they got this past the Apple Store review, but this is fraudulent behavior from the developer. They copied the app, renamed it by adding “go” at end of the name and require you to repay the $99 to access your system. ✓ Still not updated for iOS 16IOS 16 was released to the public 6 months ago. It was in beta for 6 months before that. Crestron has still not updated this app for compatibility with iOS 16. If you accidentally rotate your phone or tablet vertically while inside the app, you’re done. Must Force-close the app, re-launch, re-load programming, etc. If you exit the app to respond to a notification, phone call, or anything else - when you re-enter this app the screen is black and it’s unusable. Must force-close it, re-launch, and repeat. I’ve used full Crestron automation in multiple homes for over a decade. From a company like Crestron I would expect app testing and updates to occur during the BETA phase of new iOS releases so that on day #1 of the public iOS release things are ready to rock with little to no disruption to the tens of thousands of households and businesses using it. In this case not only was the update not completed during beta, but now we’re 6 months post public release and it’s still barely useable. Not a good sign for Crestron. It’s making me re-think my loyalty to their home solutions, which used to be cutting edge..NetwizzerdVersion: 1.0.24
