✓ DisappointingThere are several issues with this app, the main ones being the fact it’s nearly impossible to join a raid (which is understandable if there are a lot of users) and the number of fake profiles or bots that add you to a raid room and then either don’t invite you in or worse, you join a raid and you’re the sole player while everyone else is just standing in the waiting room. Waste of time and remote raid passes. There are better and more trustworthy apps..Version: 1.6.2
✓ It was pretty good til the updateI liked the app before the update. The feature where only premium members can join in the first 10 seconds makes it impossible to get into any of the good raids since they will fill up so quickly. I don’t mind the other premium feature not being available but this one is very annoying. I hope they improve this mechanism and make it better. ✓ PremiumPremium definitely ruins the whole app, you won’t be able to join a lobby now because you have to wait 10 seconds for premium members to join first and by then it is full. On top of that who wants to pay 15$ a month for barely anything when we already have to pay for raid passes. Was perfectly fine beforehand. Not only does premium make it difficult to get into any raids; if you try to join one, it’ll prompt you with a message saying “only premium members are allowed to join in the first 10 seconds” and when you go to join after 10 seconds, the party will either be full or it’ll prompt you with a different message saying “wait a few more seconds before rejoining this room” when I wasn’t even in the room in the first place! People who use the app for free will have a terrible experience and will be forced to pay 15$ a month for a good experience. My best advice is to use facebook groups or a different app for joining raid parties..Version: 1.5

✓ Good concept, don’t bother unless willing to payIf it wasn’t such a greedy 15 per month I’d maybe pay it, these guys are making money of another game /company. ✓ Great when it worksApp was great when it was still working for me. After a few week no one was joining my hosted raids. I thought it was just a slow day so I waited patiently until all the time ran out. This is what happens every time I tried to host. So I asks a friend that also had the app to see if they could join my raid. They could never find me. I tried to host smaller less popular ones so it would be easier to find. They could never find me and no one still ever joined my raids. I didn’t mind so much because I was still able to join raids. After a few weeks I finally emailed for help because I wanted to host and was still having the problem. I got an email back from Jason telling me “There are a million people trying to host Primal raids so it's perfectly normal to have no one joined your raids. “ I responded with more information because it didn’t just seem like no one was willing to join my raids and was sent a second email “ We don’t show every raid when there are too many hosts. It’s normal to have your raid not showing up when there are already plenty of hosts. “ It would have been nice to get help instead of being brushed off so fast. Glad I didn’t spend the money to become a premium member if that’s how they treat users..Version: 1.8.1

✓ Premium subscription ruined the appThis was a great app to host and join raids and I used it a lot for legendary and mega raids. But one small issue with the app was the small amount of players using it. Meaning there would be maybe up to 3 legendary raids at once but almost immediately filled up. So it was almost impossible to join a raid especially when these legendaries first come and are limited. But now with this premium member thing they added players can pay $20 monthly to be first to actually enter a raid. Meaning those who can’t afford to spend that now have no chance of using this service. Really sad way to try and earn money when the ad removal is over $8 already. The premium service would Make more in the future when the quantity of users is 10x the amount and you have a lot of options of raids to choose from. But here where there’s only 3 raids and you can barely get in cause they fill up quick, no chance of being added. I would suggest people to find a new app or discord group because you won’t be able to get in otherwise. If you spend the $20 your just competing how we all did before this addition. ✓ £15/Month - No ThanksThe app itself is good if you’re willing to wait for the 10 seconds to pass whilst the Premium members fill up the raids, you may strike lucky if someone drops out. This means that when new bosses are released many thousands of players are all after the same thing & it gets frustrating as there’s a limit if 6 players per raid. I paid for one month then cancelled just not worth it as once the rush subsided then you can join the raids much easier. Drop the cost to a reasonable amount then maybe the developers will see a bit more interest - most reviews I read criticise the cost & they’re spot on! Every so often the app struggles to refresh the data & freezes which means a restart & loss of the raid list. This app is good but could be better!.Version: 1.6.2

✓ THE DEVS NEED TO READ THIS!This app used to be amazing but it has recently lost touch with its ways, this new “pay to play” enhanced experience has meant that you now have to wait 10 seconds to join a raid, this would normally be fine, except that you can pay £15 a month to remove this! This app relies upon you spamming and refreshing to get into a legendary raid, and with the new 10second feather that’s almost impossible for the vast majority, absolutely disgusting and greed fuelled devs need to have a good long look at the fans that helped establish this.Version: 1.5.2

✓ Great before premiumSo the good stuff: The app itself is great, raids load frequently, it’s a simple process to add the host and be ready and it enables users who don’t live in gym-heavy areas the opportunity to raid much more often with a variety of levelled raids clearly laid out. However... The bad stuff: Prior to the premium feature being added I would have given this 5 stars. Nowadays even a 2* is pushing it. Without paying £15 A MONTH?!? you cannot join battles within the first 10 seconds which means that 96% of the time, it’ll be full before you even get the chance to try and be a part of it. After this happening over and over again, this app very quickly loses its appeal and quite simply, it takes the fun factor out of it. Yes the app itself is good but the price is ridiculously high for the majority of users who play this free game with occasional purchases for community tickets, storage upgrades etc. If you are truly dedicated to catching them all then I dare say you’ll pay for the ease of this. And at a fiver a month, I’m sure a lot more of us could have been persuaded. ✓ Good app, but cant trust other playersDont get me wrong. This app is useful and i have come across many people that would continue to invite me and send gifts, which is awesome. Although i can’t begin to tell you how many remote/raidpasses i lost due to other players. Some people are too old/young and cant navigate through a phone properly, some people just wanna see the world burn and leave with 1 second until the raid, and others are just not smart people in general. Some helpful things you guys can add is a rating system or a trust level. So people know what they are getting into before its too late. Also an up-to-date level of the player shown in the app. As bad as it is, depending on certain 5 star raids you barely get by with 6 people. Players under lvl 30 cant do much in raids and once you get more than 1 person under level 30 that raid is a bust. Everytime people leave. In a way its unfair, but that also goes both ways. ✓ It’s okayIt’s an okay app but there are a few issues… 1. Too many bots. You get into a raid only to find out the host of the raid is a bot. This is not so bad if it is a 1 or 3 tier raid, but when you get to legendary or 5 tier raids is causes issues in that instead of 6 trainers battling, there are only 5. 2. Half the time the bots never send you an invite so here one sits and wastes almost 7 minutes to join a raid only to never get an invite. 3. No accountability. You get in a legendary tier 5 raid and there are six trainers. In the last 5 seconds trainers leave the raid and you don’t have enough time to bail out. The result is you have between 1 and 3 trainers and there is no way to win! You have to leave and end up losing your remote raid pass. This actually happens quite often! Where is the accountability for this? The reason they bail is issue 4 below. 4. Anyone of any level can join a raid. The issue is that when fighting a legendary or tier 5 raid, the other trainers don’t have the power to win the raid. You end up being defeated as there is not enough power between the 6 trainers! At least put in something in the app so that a minimum combat power is required to join certain raids! You can get into some good raids with this app but most of the time you will be frustrated trying to join and end up wasting a lot of time!.Version: 1.6.9
✓ Better if you didn’t have so many bot accountsThis app can really help you get all those hard to get Pokémon especially ones that are located around the world. However, because most of the people that recruit fights are fake accounts only designed to start the fight and don’t actually help fight the Pokémon, you have to make sure that five people are able to kill them which makes it really difficult in some instances. For that reason I don’t think this is the best app. The only best fights are the ones where some real players actually trying to recruit a battle..Version: 1.6.9

✓ Ridiculous Subscription, Is Now PTWI was really enjoying this app before the monthly $15 to get into a raid. It was hard enough before with raids filling up so fast, but now premium members that pay $15 A MONTH just to be able to access raids easier fill the raids up and non paying members have to wait 10 seconds to even try to enter an open raid, but then you can’t because all the premium members have filed the slots. That price PER MONTH just to access raids is totally crazy. If that was a one time payment, I’d be okay with that. Even $30 as a one time payment. But monthly?! This app is nowhere near worth that much just as a convenience app to an actual game. Only usefulness this app has if you’re not paying is that you can get a few people to help with your local raid, but that’s about it. I mean, you can do the same thing on FB and Discord groups too. ✓ Good overall, but premium is not worth it.I have had an overall good experience with this app, if you’re looking to get region specific Pokémon 10/10. If you’re looking to get into average to mid raids without having to get off your couch 10/10. But recently I purchased premium in an attempt to catch Kyogre, Groudon, or Rayquaza. I spent $15 and sat with the app open for an entire 8 hours constantly refreshing every 10 seconds to enter a raid and wasn’t allowed in once. I understand that these were very sought after pokemon, but if I can’t even access them when basically dedicating a whole day of my life to the chance then what’s the point in having premium, lol. ✓ No support?I’ve been using this app for a while and decided to pay for the premium subscription when it was released. All worked well until my son logged into his account on my iPad via Facebook. Despite uninstalling and reinstalling it will now only allow fb login from his account. I can login in via apple or gmail, but even though I use the same email address for fab, gmail and apple the app will not recognise my paid subscription so I no longer have premium. There appears to be no support desk for technical issues. I can understand when they were a small outfit, but with so many people paying for premium I’m sure they are raking it in - you cannot charge that amount of money without providing app support!!!!.Version: 1.5.6

✓ This app is now useless (unless paying)When I first encountered the app it was fun and I was able to get to do raids in Pokemon go. I was able to use it for a short while but, then they decided that they were going to change it up (mandatory ads as well-you can pay $9 [once-Suprising] to make them go away) and charge $15 a month for the privilege of being able to get in on a raid (you have to wait 10 seconds for the free option to possibly be able to join-with only 5 slots available it fills in seconds. ) if you’re not subscribed you cannot get a raid which makes the application totally and completely worthless. So basically they’re giving everybody the big middle finger for the ability to raid (unless you pay them!) and it’s at their discretion for a monthly reoccurring fee of $15. I don’t know how they figure people are gonna want to put up with that. If it was 2-5 bucks I might justify it, however with the serious amount of go players they are making money hand over fist. ✓ UnplayableI would stay far far away from this app. It was great before they introduced premium but now all the premium players fill up all the rooms and non-paying players don’t even get a chance to get into rooms before they’ve all filled up. Not to mention the terrible players wasting people’s time by opening rooms and not starting. Sure you could wait a few days when interest has died down so you can finally get into a room but then interest is so low with people jumping out of rooms at the last minute. I’ve already lost 3 remote raid passes due to this behaviour. Many hosts don’t even start a game so you can’t even downvote them. Oh right, don’t bother clicking on a room before the first ten seconds is up because the countdown is not often in sync with the room countdown. This app has wasted so much of my time. ✓ New update not greatWhile I appreciate this app a lot, I wouldn’t pay $15 a month to join before other people. The premium benefits do not outweigh that huge recurring (??) cost. Right now, Uxie just joined raids, so I understand if the app is overloaded, but it won’t even refresh anymore. I get so many error messages (“unable to load data! please try again!”) that it’s not worth waiting for a raid to come up. I hope this is only related to the high traffic today and not a new bug because it WILL make me stop using. Otherwise, in the past, this app has always worked well. It’s honestly been a godsend sometimes! Rooms fill quick (which is good and bad) and it connects just as well as it would if I was raiding in person. The notifications are instant and super helpful. It’s also a simple UI and I can add the hosts quickly and easily. I’d like the ability to add the other people in the rooms just to see if anyone caught a shiny boss (haha).Version: 1.5.3

Not allowing you to join within the first 10 seconds...not allowing you to attempt to join a previously full raid party that now has an open slot within 10 seconds of your last attempt. The likelihood of joining a level 3+ raid is slim with the new restrictions. You’ll almost never be successful for popular bosses. I’m sure that was by design to force people to go premium, but it totally kills the user experience. Also $15/mo. ✓ No communication. Bad treatment of raid hosters.Tried to host three raids the other day, wouldn't let anyone join, even when my bf specifically looked for my lobby. Turns out I had a "too low score" to continue to host raids even though every single raid I posted was legit and only one we actually lost. Was considering buying premium because the app was helpful, but turns out they ban people with no communication and no indications of that. Still happy to steal your money though. ✓ Great app sometimesIf you don’t have premium, good luck getting into a popular remote raid. The 10 second priority queue you get for paying is an extreme advantage. Lobbies get filled up very fast and you’ll never get a chance to get into one. Also, a lot of times when I create a raid people just don’t join. Not sure if it’s because there’s not enough people using the app but the “PokeRaid” app always finds people very fast, even during busy times when new legendaries come out. Overall it’s a decent app when it works. I’ve completed some legendary raids that were smooth and quick. Although a lot of the time people don’t join because it’s so busy. I’d recommend an option to make people watch adds to get the “priority queue” so that people who don’t pay can get a chance..Version: 1.5.3

✓ Spoofers are involvedI’ll be completely honest. As I am typing this review, the Ultra Beast Celesteela is in Raids at the moment. It is only available in the Southern Hemisphere, where as I am located in the Northern Hemisphere. I used it to get three or four Celesteela raids, and the trainers that invited me were all level 33, with one Pokémon caught, and barely 20 KM walked. I’m convinced that all four or three of them were spoofers, or people illegally modifying their app to allow access to Celesteela. I don’t know how Niantic feels about the Celesteela I’ve obtained via these spoofers, so it’s possible that I’ll either lose them, or lose my account. ✓ Pay to play, Not Worth the Download anymore.I’ve been using the app for about 6-7months as of Go Fest 21. Before Go Fest I didn’t have an issue and the app was my go to for remote raids. During GO Fest, I couldn’t get a raid and read the message about servers being busy. Now that Go Fest is done, I still can’t get a mega or 5 star raid. I read the reviews about having to be a premium user to get a raid. Although, I’d be interested, not at $15 a month. That’s more than I spend on PoGo!! ✓ Too many bots/fake raid hostsToo many bots host raids and then leave, meaning that you are left with 4-5 trainers in a 5 star raid. And since many of these trainers are lower level trainers, you won’t win and you just lost your remote raid pass. So be warned as you have a higher risk of loosing money with this app if you paid for those remote raid passes! Note - look at the trainer profile when they accept your friend request. If it shows no battles won and 1 pokemon caught, it is bot and DONT join the raid. If you do, understand the bot is not a player and won’t be in the arena and won’t give you the additional friendship XP. I have had more success with poke genie. You have to wait in line for more popular raids but I haven’t met a bot yet and I have a higher catch rate..Version: 1.8.0
✓ It’s okay!You can’t get into any popular raids unless you pay for the subscription, which is quite pricey at $15 a month. Also, they have bots that host raids and leave. You will know it’s a bot when you look at the amount of Pokémon caught by them, it will always be 1. THEY ALWAYS BACK OUT! So make sure if you are doing a hard to beat legendary that you have a good team of Pokémon and players with good level to beat them, otherwise you will end up using your pass and not beating it. There is no way to communicate with others, which is probably for the reason that they use so many bot accounts. ✓ Queue for non premium would make this greatIt really is a great piece of development work enabling players to do raids they could not before or are restricted from moving to. However, if not paying premium you only get a look in by absolute chance and you can be on the app for hours refreshing to no avail. I really think you should be able to go into a ‘queue’ if non premium, and for certain bosses this would be ideal. ✓ Annoying hosting systenI have used this app for 3 years and it has helped me a ton, though there is a feature I have hated ever since. Both me and my sister were banned from hosting raids during this go fest because of issues with the raid itself, leading to reports which led to our bans. Now I can barely get people to join my raids anymore and now I am forced to invite people from my friends list which never join. I really think the banning feature is dumb because you are banned for a significant amount of time and wont get unbanned until a while after. ✓ Major IssuesSo I’ve used this app a lot and there are other better apps out there that I also use. This app I only use to pick the gym color that I represent that’s really the only benefit. People are constantly joining raids and will leave right as the raid starts leaving 3-4 people for a 5 star raid. There is no points system to track users reliability in hosting or joining raids and it’s extremely frustrating. You end up spending remote raid passes on a bunch of flaky raids that pan out less than 50% of the time. ✓ Cool idea but most of the time it doesn't workWhen this app works it's incredibly useful but it's not reliable enough half the time when you actually refresh enough and click on one as soon as the ten second window that only "premium" members can join, YOU WONT EVEN GET INVITED and other times since the raids are so far away the game crashes or lags so horribly that your pass which unless you pay to get are EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to get is just completely wasted not to mention that sometimes even when it says a party is full, you join, and only 4 people will be there so all the work you put in to constantly refresh and tap to join on the frame the ten second window is over is down the drain (typically this takes at least 15 min if you are trying to get a legendary 1-3 days after it's release) and SHOCKINGLY it's the best app like this so if you REALLY want to get those legendaries and somehow spend longer than in the mainline games to get one, then here you go.Version: 1.6.4
✓ Premium has ruined this appI used to recommend this app to every single person I knew that played Pokémon go, and sadly I can no longer do that. Apparently enough people are willing to shell out 15 dollars A MONTH, a fee that is higher than most streaming services and also requires you to buy remote raid passes. I have been unable to find a raid for months (MONTHS). It always acknowledges that the host adds me as a friend and it even informs me of the invite , but the invite never actually comes. ✓ Can’t find good partiesWhy can I only find low levels on this app? I keep getting paired with <lv30 and have lost many raids and more importantly, my remote passes because of it. The app needs to show what level everyone is in order to gauge if the raid is beatable or not. Also, I’ve run into the issue of not receiving invites. I have a feeling that someone else received my invite because they were previously in the party, added the host, and left. And the host sent invites to the 5 most recent friends which may have been before me adding them. Overall, I was impressed when the app first came out. Been trying to use it for over a week now, I can assure you new Lugia raid has nothing to do with not getting access to a lobby. ✓ Was a great app, it’s gone severely downhill with new updateI absolutely loved this app. It was a great way to be able to do international raids and was always accurate. I never once lost a remote raid pass with this app. This new update is HORRIBLE!!! They now make it where you can not join the first 10 seconds of a newly posted raid unless you’re a “premium member”. Well, as many of you are aware if you raid a lot (especially with new or high value bosses), most rooms are filled up within 10 seconds. Even when I find a raid that’s been open for longer than 10 seconds, I get a notification saying I tried to join the party too quickly and I need to wait before trying to join again. ✓ PokeGenie seems better to meDownloaded this not too long ago. Got into a few raids and only won 2. I’m lvl 44 and most of the hosts were low lvl 32 and below. Seemed very spoofed cause they barely caught any mons. Kinda difficult to get into a few raids unless you get the premium which I don’t recommend. PokeGenie is much better to me. Been using it since it came out. Only issue there is that some raids have long wait times. But they notify you when it’s your turn. Haven’t lost any using it. And it also makes sure you and whoever are in the raid have an applicable party to defeat the raid. Only download Go Raid Party because it’s semi quicker to get in. But again I’ve only won 2 and seems like a bunch of spoofers and ppl who leave raids right before it starts..Version: 1.6.9
