✓ Ad breaks — too many!I was really enjoying this game as it’s challenging and fun and would have rated it a 4 or 5. But the last couple of weeks the developers have added so many “ad breaks” that it’s just gotten annoying. Sometimes as many as 3 or more in one level. I don’t mind ads — I know they’re part of the whole gaming system — but this is ridiculous. The ads are really long too and quite often the time is still running in the background and when the ad is finally over you find out either time has expired or a bomb has gone off while you were held hostage to the ad and then they want you to spend 900 coins to resume your game. Can’t you at least pause the timer while you make us watch ads? I’m really close to deleting this app and finding another by a different more reasonable developer!.Version: 1.17.11

✓ Not the same as shown in advert!I installed this after seeing it in an ad, the game showed tiles being moved around the board but this is a con as it’s completely different, you can’t move the tiles at all! Why do this? Is it because the developer doesn’t think anyone would install it if they showed the true game as it’s just another boring connect game? I certainly wouldn’t have and I’m now going to uninstall. I love games where you can move pieces around the board but finding them is difficult, why not make one like shown in the ad?.Version: 1.6.9
✓ Way too many ads- even after I bought it!It’s obvious that this game makes money off the amount of ads watched..it’s a fun game and it has different style’s of tiles that you can play…BUT..the ads are out of control! You assume that after you buy the game that the ads will stop..but there are just as many…just used differently.. If you are doing exceptionally well on a certain game they will throw in more tiles so you don’t finish in time and therefore you have to watch an ad..they also move the tiles around so that your distracted and it’s hard to find a match ( if there is even one to find) so you have to watch an ad! Then after you’ve watch 2 or more ads on the same tile game…your third try.. because your really invested now…goes so quick that you are now having to watch a 4th ad… Is it worth it…..if you like to be frustrated…then maybe👍😃.Version: 1.16.5

✓ What keeps happening?I have played this game happily for a long time. In the recent past few weeks it has been ending games with two tiles left that don’t match! ✓ Not workingI used to play this game every day for relaxation/calm anxiety on short breaks throughout the day and to help me sleep. Suddenly it stopped working. Everytime I opened it, it would load up to 20%, freeze, and shut down. I checked for updates and there were none so I removed the app from my device and redownloaded it. It’s still doing the same thing. Getting stuck at 20% then just disappearing. I’ve tried deleting all unused apps from my phone, I deleted a couple thousand photos from my library, and cleared my cache and web data in the settings, my phone is updated and still fairly new. I’m left to believe it’s a glitch in the developers end. Please fix the game? I’ll rate a million stars. As of now I changed my rating to one star because I can’t even play it. ✓ You have to pay to claim the coins you worked for in Tile Connect?!While the levels can be challenging from time to time, you run into the same problem that other games have - players forget what the tools are for 20-30 games after they were first introduced, and the only way to figure it out is by using them. There is no help page or call out (like Toon Blast). Also, a major sticking point with Tile Connect is that it seems you have to pay to break open the piggy bank that has all of the coins you worked so long to collect?! Of course you have the coins you have accumulated separate from the bank, but then why are we paying for the other ones we have earned...?.Version: 1.7.1
✓ Started fantastic.I love this game! I’ve been playing for awhile and even began paying the $5 a month to avoid the pesky ads that usually pop up in these types of games. However, it seems as of today the levels have suddenly become larger, more complex, with less time to complete; which results in having to watch those pesky ads in order to continue on the level, sometimes multiple ads because the time just drains within seconds. It’s too bad really, to spend money to avoid ads, and be forced to watch ads in order to play a once wonderful game that you’ve advanced so far in. Is it a bug? Perhaps. I hope so. ✓ Used to be funI’ve played this for years and really enjoyed it. It used to be one of my favorites. I took a break from most my games, found a puzzle game that I like a lot with few ads and most importantly no ads during gameplay, but decided to play some of my older games for a change and I am so disappointed in how bad the ads have gotten. It’s no fun. I’m spending more time watching ads, clicking on close tabs and done tabs and waiting for ads to end, start playing the game again and then another ad pops up, several times throughout game play. Games nowadays are nothing but ads. Very few decent games anymore. I got a Nintendo Switch and I can play that with no interruptions. ✓ No more freebiesI loved this game and played it a lot …..until I reached level 1356. Then, the timer speeds up and it is impossible to complete a game. So, you have the option of spending 900 coins to continue it, or watch an ad. So you put up with the ad, because you’ve used up all your coins and don’t want to spend $5.00 to get about 1200 coins, which won’t last long at 900 a pop, and the game can be continued for about another 10 seconds. Then you again have the option of paying 900 coins, that you don’t have, or watch a video. Or, you can watch 5 ads and get 100 coins. So…..looks like I’ll be deleting this game..Version: 1.13.4
✓ You screwed up the gameI just did the update for this game on 7 April, 2022. I was hoping maybe you would have added some new images or something but you have totally ruined this game. Now when you eliminate a few pairs of pics they reappear making it impossible to even try and empty the board in the time allotted. I got half way through the timer and the board was still completely full! How is it possible to even get part of it emptied when it fills in almost immediately? ✓ The amount of ads is ridiculous!The first day of playing, I enjoyed and didn’t mind the ads. I was still getting a feel for the game and wasn’t familiar with how often the ads popped up. Well a few days in and I’m over the crazy, ridiculous amount of ads. You press pause, and you are approached with an ad before resuming the game. You want to go the home page, well you gotta watch another ad. You finish a game, hold on here’s two more ads to watch before you can move to the next level. I understand the ad game is a business and they gotta make their money someway but man! Do you really need to watch an ad after finishing a game within 20 seconds, even though you just watched one 20 seconds ago? Unbelievable! And the process just to get out of an ad that you already finished watching is another story. You would think after watching an ad for so many seconds, you would be given the option to exit out and continue with you game. Welp nope! Not that easy. You literally have to press the double arrows that appear to be the exit, only to find out that you have been taken to the App Store, to press done, and then you are given the X to exit out of the ads. The in app purchase is so aggressive! They throw all these ads at you so that you can give in and just buy the darn game! What happened to the games that gave you the option to watch the ads? ✓ FRUSTRATING!This game, apparently, is supposed to be hard and it IS. Honestly I cannot figure out how or why it’s so difficult since all it is is matching for God’s sake, but somehow they (the computer) manages to displace the tiles in such a manner that makes you lose your mind trying desperately to find a set of pairs before the time runs out, or the bomb goes off, whichever comes first. So yes, it is challenging, but not in a good way- not for me at least. Playing this game actually ended up increasing my anxiety and stress level to the point that I had to finally delete it. So if you’re looking for a difficult matching game that truly puts your mind to the test, try the one. If you’re looking for a chill game to relax your mind, definitely do not get this game. I gave it two stars for the game creators not allowing its players to earn points more easily to get help when they need it (shuffle, image reset, hint, bomb, etc)..Version: 1.16.1
✓ Ads With No AdsI really liked this game initially. I did not mind the ads because they allowed me to continue the game without having to purchasing more time to play. Now, though, instead of ads in between games or when I run out of time, my game keeps getting interrupted with a black screen. When I tape my screen, it looks like it should be a video playing. I tried removing and reinstalling the app but am still having the same problem. I don’t know if this is a ploy to get you to purchase the ad free version. ✓ Weird messages very creepyThe app sends inappropriate messages to my iPad if I haven’t played for a while. Very creepy and I ended up uninstalling as I didn’t want to receive them. Ads are incredibly annoying and one particular type (with the 2 children behind bars) is really difficult to get rid of. Even after having to watch for the full time it won’t let you close down and opens up in the App Store, almost insisting you have to download before proceeding (which I don’t). I’ve ended up having to move to a different app to break the connection. Game itself is easy fun at a juvenile level, but that’s about it. I used to love playing it, but… #1 - didn’t mind the ads after each game was completed, I understand they’re needed, but now there are so many ads ‘during’ game play on the pretense of telling me I’ve reached a new rank (which means nothing) and the exploding icon continues to count down while ad is playing then explodes before I can get back to game. #2 - sometimes when I hit the ‘X’ to close the ad it won’t let me and I have to force ad closed and restart game. # 3 - the gold star coins that were added I try not to ever touch because a few times during play when I got to the end of game it had replaced something leaving no match just one icon and the gold coin. ✓ Ads are super annoyingAds are not only between games, there are multiple ads within each game! At first ads were short enough to tolerate. Now they are all 30 seconds each, and each has a couple of additional windows to close, which adds 5 more seconds each- all before getting back to the same game! And if you don’t clear any of those windows on time, you start the same game all over. Plus the same ads are repeated over and over. How many times do you have to have to see 30+ second dog med ads in your face, and you don’t even own a dog? Other ads are equally long and annoying, and now the game is intolerable. ✓ Fun game but a CPU hog and very poor ad handlingThis is a game I play every day and I enjoy it a lot, but the ad handling and performance issues keep me from giving it five stars. I don’t mind a short ad between levels, but you have to wait seven seconds (yes I was so frustrated that I timed it) until it presents a skip button. Then you have to wait five more seconds until it pops up a close button. Then it pops up the App Store splash page for the game, then you have to press “Done”, then you have to press *another* close button to FINALLY exit the ad. Net result is twenty seconds of button pressing in between levels which is more than annoying. Miss a button press and you’re in the ad forever. While I will pay for ad free (and I have with other apps), the other more serious issue is that the game gets progressively slower the longer you play it. After four or five levels the game is so slow that you have to wait three seconds or more for a button press to register. However, if that coin lands on a tile then that tile is no longer available to match and you can’t complete the game because of the unequal number of tiles. ✓ Weirdly DevelopedIn the ad I watched to get me to download this game the person seemed to be finding the matching tiles as the board was moving in a sort of a Tetris style. That looked intriguing: Find matches quickly! However the actual game is find two matches. Sounds easy. The trick is to find two matches THE GAME WILL LET YOU MATCH! It won’t let you match two near each other, but you can match two across the board from each other. It seems to indicate that it can’t match around corners but then others can be matched around corners. ✓ Stop the interruptionsI’m currently in the 600’s on levels. They are a fun mix of difficulty. However, suddenly, there are interruptions caused by achieving new levels and special cubes. It interrupts concentration on a timed game and are really just an unwelcome distraction that can make you lose your flow. I’ve seen these “bonuses” in other games and it’s an annoying trend that I hope the developers stop. The skill levels don’t mean anything and if bonuses are earned, just tack them on at the end of the level.
