✓ Prices have dramatically droppedI sold several items earlier including a Calvin klein Jacket in March. It was barely new and they offered 20 gbp. I tried to sell the same model now (October) and they offer me 2 gbp! This is insulting! I know you are making a profit out of it but the prices have dropped so much it’s shocking. Same with brands such as Gap, Nike, and Ted baker among others. It was a great app to use earlier this year, but now it’s time to delete it 🤷♀️.Version: 3.11.83
✓ Do not use this site.I recently sent a phone to this company worth £££, firstly they had Mail issues and now they have locked me out of my account. I cannot contact them as I was communicating through the chat on the app. All emails I have found relating to this company online seem to be fake emails and won’t send. ✓ ScamFirst off the instant cash out isn’t instant they put a hold on your card for the price of your item for example the item I wanted to sell was £64 they tried to take £64 from my bank so what it seems is they take the money from you for the item then once they receive it they take the hold off and give you back YOUR OWN MONEY to try pretend that they have payed you for something when in reality you’ve payed them! ✓ APP BROKENDoesn’t send SMS message to your phone to sign in or sign up on the app. I’ve been locked out of my account for weeks and twig do not answer contact forms or messages. The app is either stuck on a loading page when you try to log on or sign up or it tells you that there is something wrong. I’ve tried re-downloaded over a period of weeks and still nothing. ✓ No responseJust listed an item on twig and cash out the money however I want to cancel the checkout. Contacted them and got no response as I’m not willing to deliver my item to them after seeing these reviews and won’t let me cancel the cash out. Also it was a palm angels top and they only said £25 for it which now looking back that is not acceptable when they are over £100. Don’t bother using twig and be patient with vinted. ✓ Awful processHolding deposit for instant payouts is so stupid and doesn’t make sense. You accept a lower amount to get the payment immediately but then they also take a holding deposit from your account of the same amount immediately. So what is this the point of the instant payout option? Inspection of items is so slow and not the next working day that you’re told. Getting my holding deposit back took so long - ended up being a 2 week plus process even though they received my item in a couple days. So disappointed and won’t use again - use more reliable and well known websites to sell your unwanted goods!.Version: 3.11.04

✓ Absolutely awfulI sent an iPad in for £92 pounds, perfect condition. Was offered an insulting amount less than 20!!! Was told my iPad would be sent back to me witching 7 days. 3 weeks go by, no iPad, I had to chase it up. Finally arrived, just the iPad, no box no charger nothing. ✓ Can’t sell more than 3 itemsTrying to sell my dads old clothes to raise money for his stone. It only allows 3 items at a time, requiring me to pay for postage on top of that, and has to be worth 15 pounds or higher. And then is only allowing me to sell 3 per month. ✓ Doesn’t make sense.Had a decent offer for my old phone which I was happy to accept, however when attempting to cash out I was informed that a “hold deposit” equal to my cash out would be taken from my account. The offer for my phone was £250, if I had £250 in my bank account I wouldn’t be selling my phone to an app like this? ✓ App is a fraudSo fraudulent. reading other people's reviews confirmed my suspicions. when they asked for my 16 digit card number, i had to start investigating cause that just didn't feel right. You do not need my card details apart from sc and acc number to make payments! i looked on tiktok (because that is where i first heard of the app) and noticed that every influencer promoting twig had their comments off or were deleting comments that were calling out twig for their fraudulence. literally run away from this app. delete ur account and never look back, these people are stealing ur items as well as your money. would give 0 stars if i could. also, notice how their reviews have been "reset" recently ? they are trying to hide their bad name. be cautious, stay away from this app, don't let any of your friends or family get involved with this app. better alternatives: Vinted. be safe x.Version: 3.10.94
✓ THIEVESI sent my item on the 27th of November. You received it on the 1st of December signed by you on tracking by Royal Mail. You were locating my parcel (iPhone 11) for more than a week as apparently you “couldn’t find it” You sent me an email on the 11th of December quoting “Woohoo! Your item has completed all of its quality controls and your sale is complete. We have sent the money on your card” Which you never did and I contacted you immediately asking you to solve this. You have been putting me off, being vague, not replying to my emails and the only reply I got was “our finance team is working on it”… What? working on it for more than two weeks??? ✓ Do not use twig. Terrible app.I sent my item off, it was delivered next day and it took them almost 5 days to check. I was repeatedly ignored by customer service when i asked for updates. I was then told it didn’t pass the test and would be sent back, however i received a random tracksuit almost a week later. I have had to deal with terrible customer service from their ONE singular customer service agent that i can barely get a reply from. They even had the cheek to ask i send back what they’ve sent me while they “Try to contact the warehouse”. I’ve received no information on where my product is or when i’ll receive it. ✓ Stupid re-evaluation pricesIf the item you’re selling isn’t straight out the box you won’t get what they originally quote you. I had an iPhone 13 Pro in near mint condition and was quoted £530, after sending the item off and it going through quality control they got back to me with a counter offer of £340. Which is absolutely ridiculous in my opinion. The phone was mint and had barely a hairline scratch on it. Only sell on here if you are willing to accept any price for your items. The process of selling and sending the item off is very easy and straight forward, however that’s the only good thing I can say about this app. I later took my phone to o2 and recycled for £450 which is much more reasonable..Version: 3.11.79
✓ DisappointingI was looking forward to using the app and thought it might be useful. I tried to sell an item that is designer, brand new with tags and unworn and was offered a frankly insulting price. I was given the option to negotiate with the bot ‘Slomo’ however and through this was able to negotiate to a feasible price which I accepted. However once the negotiation was completed the price reset to the original price and it was as though the negotiation and agreement never existed. I deleted the item and went through the whole rigmarole of doing the negotiation again; again getting to a price I was happy with and doing a deal and again the price reset to the original lowball offer. It appears either the app itself, or the link with the negotiation part of the app is not fit for purpose. Disappointing as I thought the app may be of use, but I appear to be wrong..Version: 3.11.03

✓ Good intentions, terrible executionI get what they are trying to do, but it’s extremely disappointing trying to sell a new Primark cloth I got for 25 quid, as not acceptable and I should give it for donation. The whole point of try to sell my “used” clothing is to get some money. I myself need donations. I recommend everyone uses Vinted, sales is just very slow over there. However is way better than underselling good value products just to plant trees that there’s no guarantee they are actually doing so. Anyone can plant trees in their backyards. ✓ Negotiated price and they sent the wrong (lower) amountI was offered £69 for a designer coat. This was less than the coat was available in places like Vinted so used their bot to negotiate a price and was offered £84. This was still a little less than Vinted but as payment was instant I accepted. I accepted the price and a notification came up to say that I was being send £84 and instant payments could take a few hours. No bother. The next day the payment still hadn’t arrived in my bank account so I check my account, they were only sending me £69, the price that I had NOT accepted. I emailed about where the money was and why it was lower than agreed. Was told instant payments were turned off (I selected instant payment and had a notification confirming this) and that the bot was not working and they could not give me the price I had agreed to! Decided that I could not trust this service enough to send them the items, they’d already messed me about before I’d even sent them anything, and cancelled. ✓ Hoax / not user friendlyUploaded a bunch of items, and a few months later, they all got deleted because I didn’t cash out. When I re-uploaded everything and did try to cash app, they have all these different restrictions like you can only cash out three items per transaction then you can only do three of those per month and then on top of that you have to pay for shipping to send everything in which is usually more than the cost of your items. ✓ For all those wonderingThis company was called h goodbuytech where they bought electronics and phones but now they have closed down both companies due to losing to much money when changing from goodbuytech to twig, they lost a lot due to scams on twig as they would pay out and then people would claim money back from the bank that twig was originally holding until they received your goods etc.Version: 3.11.83
✓ WARNING ‼️ SCAMBased off of what I’ve seen, the app asks for sensitive personal information (SSN, etc), and has scammed several people by accepting their items and never responding to them again. Many have said that the developer refuses to answer emails, and they receive slow “updates” without ever being able to cash out their item or be given a refund. This app is stealing personal information, money, and shipped belongings. The few developer responses I’ve seen in the reviews are downright rude, and the way they respond to their customers is very unethical. The advertisements and guarantees are extremely misleading, not to mention the fact that most of the “five star reviews” on this app’s profile are repeats and bots. I don’t know how this app is still up, it’s very clearly a scam. It needs to be taken off the app store altogether to avoid other users making the same mistakes. Sounds like they need new software or new people who know how to work the software because the phone was in perfect working order.
