✓ Not a true trial, you’re charged immediatelyI thought I was getting a 7 day trial & am very angry I was charge before the trial period. The app is NOT AT ALL what I expected. Tried to cancel & get a refund & Apple says I’m not eligible for one I wouldn’t be angry if you had not charged me. If you are going to offer a trial at least wait until the trial period is up before charging. I will be posting this on my social media accounts. WOW 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟I’m changing my review because once I contacted the developer they were prompt to respond & very understanding and resolved the issue immediately. ALL GOOD‼️.Version: 0.53.0
✓ Love this App!!I can't believe how well the scanning feature works. Every single receipt I've scanned has imported the merchant and date correctly. Only twice have I had to make a minor modification to the dollar amount, and this was likely to a wrinkled receipt. I'm in awe of how well the OCR works - which makes this app a pleasure to use. It's also easy to change the category of a filed receipt at a later date. The export option is well worth the price as you have an option to export date ranges with or without receipt images. Lovely. ----Only suggestions would be an option to import or download into the iOS Files app and import directly into iOS Numbers vs email link. Also adding more icon options would be useful. Specifically more types of buildings and folder colors/designs. I very very rarely write reviews. This is a Great app!!.Version: 0.44.8

✓ Simple, Efficient, Quick Works!I started using this to track business expenses/receipts. The ability to set up folders is simple and to navigate. I love that I can quickly pull up the app after purchasing something and in less than 15 seconds it is logged with all of the information that I need. The only negative that is not really a negative is that you have to pay in order to be able to export in spreadsheet form, but I prefer that to ads. I have not purchased premium but the free functionality is very well executed. Kudos to the develops of the UI..Version: 0.77.11
✓ Worth every pennyIm very critical on apps as they all seem to have short comings in different ways. I honestly cannot find any reason to dislike this app. I scanned in over 200 receipts the day i got it some very wrinkled and extremely faded and had 1 that didn’t scan and upload absolutely perfect. In the app’s defense it was so faded I couldn’t even read the name of the merchant. Solid 10 out of 5 stars. Keep up the good work.Version: 0.47.1
✓ Absolutely amazing way to organize!This is a great app. I have never written a review on an app but I wanted to tell the developers that I truly appreciate their creativity and putting together something that is so easy to navigate. It will save me so much time, preparing my taxes for my accountant. It normally takes me days to do this, but with this app, it will take me, no time at all. ✓ Great for all receipts, but even better at holiday timeLove how this app instantaneously recognizes the info from my receipt and allow me to easily organize by category. I am putting stuff in folders which will make it easier when taxes are due! They also have find the return dates for your purchases and alert you so you don’t forget. ✓ Easy to useUPDATE; crashes. This crashes every few mins. I thought maybe my phone needed more space (iPhone) so I cleaned it up by deleting pics and vid’s and some games. Got a good GB from cleaning. But still crashes. I’m so so disappointed. I was in love 😫🥲 PREVIOUS; I didn’t want to have to learn too much since I wanted to keep it simple. ✓ Where have you been all my life?I’m going to sound dramatic but this is true… I’ve been looking for an app like this for SO long! I’ve tried so many other apps but they didn’t have the features I needed. I resigned myself to buying a receipt scanner, which is not cheap, and even that didn’t work as well as this little app does. I have to admit that I cringed at the yearly fee but I got to test it out for free for one week and saw how well it works. The fee boils down to about $2/mo AND allows me to get rid of receipt clutter and organize my receipts (and other documents like prescriptions, etc) digitally. It looks like the app creators are pretty responsive as well, if I ever have any issues. I can’t ask for anything more (well, “free” would be nice, but what can ya do?).Version: 0.46.4
✓ Love it but would love to see one thing addedI love that I can put receipts into my phone and file them into folders as soon as I make a purchase or pay a bill. Only one request I would make is if this app would automatically post your recurring expenses each month such as a car payment, or loans that have fixed monthly amounts. I dislike having to add these on every month when they could easily be put on some kind of recurring schedule. It’s really not a big deal but it would surely make this all ultra easy to use. ✓ The Best Receipt & other important documents appThis is by far the best app that scans and downloads all the pertinent information on a receipt and allows one to classify and put each copy into folders. It continues to get better! I particularly like how the app allows you to link your email address so that receipts emailed to one can be automatically downloaded. It even allows user to download receipts from emails through the beginning of the previous year. Good job SimplyWise!.Version: 0.56.0
✓ Excellent way to go paperlessI’ve been using this app for a couple of years. I’ve enjoyed it very much. The developers seem to be listening to the users. The improvements over the last couple of years have been positive, although with the last update I noticed the photo receipts aren’t as clear as they once were. It’s not clear enough to scan the barcode when returning an item. In the past it was. Overall great app!.Version: 0.77.0
✓ Game Changer for Monthly Expense ReportI’m able to keep digital copies of every receipt for both corporate credit cards, and then export all images as a bill cycle with custom dates that align to my bill cycle date. Never losing a receipt ever again. Receipt scanning interface is decently accurate… I find that 85-90% of the time the app nails every detail from my receipts. Occasionally I have to tweak small details, but this works as well or better than any comparable apps I’ve tried in the past..Version: 0.60.1
✓ Best App everThis app is great. I use it for receipts, documents, etc. it is also great for both sides of loyalty cards. Previously I almost always forgot and left it in the car. The pictures of everything are clear, as are the receipts, documents, cards, etc. it is also great for copying business cards, and organizing them; medical, auto, restaurants, etc. Almost forgot, great for copying menus, even multi page. I know I missed a few I use it for now, and more in the future. Best of all, response from customer service is outstanding; which is all to rare these days. ✓ Great App but could use some extrasI just signed up for the pro subscription. It’s a very good app and it does just what I wanted. I only gave it 4 stars because the reporting and exporting features are not very good. You only seem to get one report format that is not very good and you can only export it to xlsx or print. I think adding CSV to the list would be very helpful. I prefer using raw data that’s not formatted. Thanks for the great app. Just what I was looking for at a reasonable price..Version: 0.58.0

I use it for both personal and as an individually run business. The app works, does what they say it does. It makes organization of documentation and receipts, very efficient, and I mainly use it for tax purposes to keep track of receipts. ✓ Wow!My first praise is for the customer service! I filled out a “help request form” giving my email address and cell number and was contacted probably within 30 min or less. That’s huge in my book! They worked with me to understand what my issues were to a satisfactory conclusion. I love that my husband and I both can easily upload receipts. ✓ SimplyWise is simply greatI’ve only been using this app for a short time, but I’m already finding it indispensable. It saves me a lot of time dealing with paper receipts. I’m able to take a picture upload them and export them so that I have them all in a central location that is easy to find, and I’m able to export the data into my budgeting software program.I’m really looking forward to exploring the new functionality that the developers have put into the program, and I am excited to see what they might do in the future with this app. However, just as it is, it is definitely worth a download and is a huge time saver!.Version: 0.22.0
✓ Amazing app for small businessI just started a cottage baking business and needed to be better organized in 2022. This has been amazing so far for keeping receipts all in one place and organized. ✓ Use to be 5 starsI have used this app for almost two solid years for both business and personal book keeping. I have rarely ever had any issues but the last few weeks unless I am connected to Wi-Fi every receipt I scan it’s says I am offline and reverts them to my inbox. It really has become annoying, extremely inconvenient to the point where I have over 100 receipts to log and hoping the publishers come out with a update to fix the issue..Version: 0.60.2
✓ App is great, pricing scheme not so muchSo far I've done the week trial and have enjoyed the app and how it mostly works. I think I've only had one receipt that didn't populate the info but I think that was because it was an old and faded one. The email function has worked decently as well, just have to remember to get the right email. The few things that I didn't like, and the reason why I'm only giving it 4 stars are: 1) the app doesn't seem to always save the settings. I think I've gone through the "set up account" thing like 4 times and it's still coming up. 2) the pricing scheme. In the app there's two choices, base and business. Simple enough, right? Well you'd think so but if you look in your subscriptions or even in the app on the app store, there's at least 8 different options, with no explanation about what they do. If they're old options, they probably shouldn't be shown let alone be able to pick them. Other than that, the app is great..Version: 0.46.12
✓ Be Wise Get SimplyWise!I do bookkeeping, business management, and prepare taxes I’m recommending that all my clients get the SimplyWise app. It scans in your receipts and keeps an itemized list of your purchases. Easy to create a series of folders for specific businesses. The superior export to spreadsheet function allows sorting and categorizing all expenses on a monthly and weekly basis. My clients will have more accurate information about net income on an ongoing basis. This will enable them to know their cash flow so they have the capacity to take advantage of investment opportunities with confidence. ✓ Exactly what I was looking for!This app gives me exactly what I was looking for. Most receipt scanners are too clumsy and this one categorizes , stores and exports so beautifully for an accounting professional Who can now generate p&ls in a breeze! One suggestion would be to export the receipt images in a single file instead of separate files. If you want to take it one step further, make the receipts searchable within the one big PDF file. ✓ Amazing and easy to use!The app is very easy to use and versatile. I went through 30 years of receipts to deduct for capital gains from my last house. It took me a week, but I couldn’t believe how easy it was. What was amazing is the receipts that I couldn’t see with the naked eye because they were heat affected, the app still picked them up! ✓ ?When seeking support, all it does is report an error message? At first look, the App seems organized but once utilizing, it becomes very confusing. I used it for a few days but then I attempted to in out income? That became another rabbit hole? It looks like it has great possibilities but I do not have the patience. ✓ Best Receipt Scanner I’ve ever hadI’ve tried multiple receipt scanner app and this is the best one even the free version. Other apps all need to pay for the full functionality, but SimplyWise doesn’t. It gives the free user to upload 10 receipts per month with all functionality like categorizing and exporting reports, and it’s already good enough for me as a light user for personal use. ✓ Keeping me sane!This app has been a lifesaver! Before I was drowning in paper receipts, and now, whenever I have to look for anything it’s just a matter of a few seconds to find it. My paper piles have shrunk to almost nothing! I started a small business with friends, and we were able to use it to keep ourselves square with spending! I love how intuitive it is reading the receipt and knowing where to categorize it. Of course, it’s always worth checking each item as you scan it because sometimes the receipt is not clear and the information can get picked up incorrectly. ✓ Best app & customer serviceThis app is the best app I have found for receipts! It has great customer service and I love the fact that you pay what’s fair. I’m going through tough times and this allowed me to still do what I needed without spending a ton of money. I asked the customer service team if they could add multi page receipts, and they out of the feature very quickly within a week or so. They asked questions and were very respectful. I’ve seen a lot of growth in the app meaning constant development which I love. The app is easy to use. I like that they are working on features and are willing to put this in the FAQ. ✓ Great For BudgetingI began to use SimplyWise to begin budgeting and to keep receipts for tax deductions as well. I’ve been able to scan every receipt and even sync other apps which I use to purchase items for work. Syncing other apps allows me to place receipts in certain categories into SimplyWise. The ONLY reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it wouldn’t allow me to sync my bank account to it, that’d make it 100% easier for me..Version: 0.77.11

This app scans your receipts no matter how torn, wrinkled or messed up they are flawlessly and once taught where each item goes does it flawlessly and efficiently. I am able to scan all my receipts from shopping to dining to travel to whatever and bingo! Correctly scanned and placed in the correct finder. It is easy to scan a receipt, review it, and save it in a folder. With the latest major update, it was not immediately apparent how to add a new folder or new category, but the developer replied and explained how. It is is quite easy once you know how.
