✓ University Bug Still Not FixedMy wife and I enjoyed this game right up until the point where we have to do the arrows puzzle in the dinosaur room in Oxford University then we came a cropper! Had we realised that this was still in the game we would never downloaded it, let alone started it. My wife fortunately hadn’t used her 1 skip crystal and was able to get past this obstacle and finish the game. Me, on the other hand had accidentally used it earlier so no longer had one available to use. Until then we were enjoying it. Maybe we’ll come back to it when the bug has been eradicated. UPDATE: The developer has responded to my review asking me to contact their support team, which in itself is what one would expect. However, the bug I highlighted was first reported 6 months ago by another user and many others and it still hasn’t been resolved, which to my mind indicates that they are more interested in cashing in on the in-app purchases than anything else. Had they fixed the issue, I’m sure many of us may have put our hands in our digital pockets and paid for something within the game, but not for a way through the obvious glitchy problem..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Puzzle are impossible and have to paySo if it wasn’t for the puzzles which require you to purchase hearts to pass I’d give a higher rating. The mine field puzzle is pretty much impossible unless you’re familiar with this and have ESP. OVER 100 attempts and still here. ✓ Unsolvable puzzle bugI ran into this puzzle and tried everything until I finally came in here to see if anyone else had this issue. Sure enough there it is bunch of people running into this unsolvable puzzle because of a bug in the game. This has been ongoing for a while and has not been fixed. Unless you have gems which you have to purchase you will not be able to finish this game. Up until that point it was done really well and another excellent game by them but they need to fix this bug and if they do I will come back and edit my rating..Version: 1.0.3

✓ Somethings wrong…It won’t let me put the glasses on, which is at the very beginning of the game. You get out of the taxi, grab your stuff and put your glasses on. The puzzle is solved but is saying it isn’t so it’s stuck with me holding the glasses. I’ve also went to your support to open a support ticket and it requires you to open an account then go through your email etc, but I didn’t get an email to verify it so now I can’t even get ahold if you guys, I give up. ✓ Great game, but a few miscuesWhen deciphering the notes on the piano, the first line of the clue is obscured by the timer and ruby. Had to guess and was able to get by. Now I’m at the door with the color block/arrow clues and two (when placed correctly in their spots) are not turning green to advise they are placed correctly, so I cannot move on and open the door. ✓ Really good until...Fantastic game until I got to Buckingham Palace where I cannot perform actions. All I get each time I come back to the area outside is the cut scene that started the level and when I open areas to perform actions they won’t let me pick things up or attach anything, such as the lever etc. So disappointed to get this far and not be able to continue :(.Version: 1.0.1

✓ Malfunction can’t play anymoreI have to say I love all the games they come out with, however I’m so bummed that I can’t play pass the dinosaur room due to a malfunction in either the coding of the game or some other error. In the mini game with the arrows at the back door, I know I’ve placed all the arrows correctly, however the top right and left arrows (purple and blue) for some reason are not registering that they are in the correct spot. I have even double check with others on how they pass this game and I wasn’t doing anything wrong it was the game. Super sad I can’t finish it. Developers haven't done anything about it in many months, so don't bother starting the game if you actually hope to finish. ✓ Mostly goodI enjoy the Secret City games (did level 1; I level 2 didn’t come up in the App Store, so downloaded level 3) except for the fact that you get one gem and can only get more with the use of real money. Also, when I have looked through a walkthrough, it appears the person gets to choose between “easy” and “hard” for some of the puzzles. Wish I was able to do that. With the puzzle where you had to move circles to the correct position to finish a picture, it was so frustrating. I got to the point where all the circles were in the correct position, except for two that needed to be flipped somehow. I finally gave up and just deleted the game. ✓ Still a game breaking glitch in May 2021Loving the game until I got to the same game breaking glitch that others have reported. The room with the dinosaur has a puzzle on the door that, even though I match to the hint, wont open. All other switches show green and I even swapped the two remaining colours round just in case the hint colours were wrong but this didn’t solve it either. ✓ Not designed for phonesI love these game’s and have had such a hard time finding the F2P ones, and was happy to do many from this developer. However after downloading a few of the different games they offer, I’ve ended up deleting them with in the first 10 minutes. Not because I didn’t like them or anything like that. For me the words in the mini games are to hard to read, be it poor color choice or extremely small font. These games just aren’t designed for phones, and that’s the only way I am willing and able to play. ✓ Can’t finish piano puzzleThe keys are so sensitive that it’s nearly impossible to hit just one at a time, it’s incredibly confusing what you’re even supposed to do. That sheet music isn’t clear at all. The only way I know what keys to hit is using a cheat solution and even then it taps multiple keys at once and makes me have to rest.
