✓ Manual settings not workI use manual control to set iso as 800 and shutter speed is 1/500. But the jpg photo’ exif data shows iso is 125 and shutter speed is 1/88. That is so bad since the reason that most of people buy camera app is because of this manual feature. ✓ Love it!I am relatively new to photography and loving this app. I have tried a few different camera apps, this is by far my favourite. I recently decided it was time to learn how to use the manual controls, for me, this is the perfect app to learn these skills. I love the focus peaking, zebra strips and histogram that all aid me to understand how to get the perfect picture. I have been looking at various photography apps that have been recommended and I have been put off by the high subscription costs, not this one, it’s free, you can’t get better than that!!!.Version: 2.1.1
✓ An impressive appI saw a review for this app on YouTube and decided to try it out. From the beginning I was impressed with the ability this gives me to take pictures with my iPhone. Now, with this app I no longer feel ‘I wish I had my DSLR camera with me’, when I am out and about. The support team were excellent and speedy. I had a slight issue so I messaged them and within 8 hours the problem was solved. The problem was with one of my settings and not the app, but they helped me. Well done guys. ✓ If you love long exposure you need this app!Really great app - I mainly take long exposure photos and it’s been really fun using it. It’s very easy to navigate the functions. Having the focus highlights and histogram are really useful features. I hope soon they add the Raw capability for long exposures..Version: 1.4
✓ Holy Moly!Last October (2022) I stepped up from a 12 year old flip phone to an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Now this app has turned my iPhone into a comparable monster with my Nikon DSLR. I have been using this app for a couple of months now and there is not one bad thing I can say about it. The remote control (30 ft range) for my iPhone also works well with this app. If you want total control of your iPhone camera (as in a DSLR mode) this is the only app you’ll want. You know you want it so what are you waiting for? Caveat: I recommend that you only use this app for shots that require longer exposures like moving water/waterfalls and clouds. I’ve read complaints about focusing issues and such so with that said, there is no need to use this app all the time/alone. IMO, it’s better if you continued using your phone’s camera for everyday shooting..Version: 2.0.4

✓ The Best Camera App in the store!!!With the native app you can snap great photos and Apple has added some manual controls which is nice. BUT it’s got nothing on the Reeflex app, you have full manual control, oh and 98% of the app is FREE! The ONLY in-app purchase is $5-6 to unlock the long exposure feature. The UI is very easy to use and translatable to a DSLR. I picked up my sisters camera and was able to clack off a few nice pics. So if you’re like me and using your phone until you can purchase a real dedicated camera, Reeflex is the only photo capture app you need. Right off the rip you get focus peaking, zebra stripes and histogram. Pick which lens you want to use and select HEIF, Raw or ProRaw. Different grid options to compose your shots in creative ways. Flash and timer controls. I’m still blown away that all of that is free! Don’t feel silly and purchase other apps and then get sucked into more in app purchases. Download Reeflex and if you want to get creative with long exposure then spend the extra few bucks. But this is the only photo capture app I use!.Version: 1.4

✓ Now working on iPhone 14 Pro MaxDid not work since the latest update. Shut down immediately after opening. Tried reinstalling the app, but same result. I contacted customer support about this issue. They responded immediately and Salvatore sent me an update via TestFlight. The first update failed, but with the crash report they received, the second update fixed the issue. This is a great app with great customer support. The problem was resolved within 4 hours of contacting support. Hats off to you folks. You are fantastic! Changed my rating to 5 stars!.Version: 2.0.1

✓ I love itReeflex has been my camera of choice for about a year. I love it. But I find the sensitivity of the row of manual controls too limited. The tutorials say to activate the EV (or other exposure/focus options) you just have to tap it and the slider will come into view. But you have to tap EXACTLY on the control letters (e.g. EV). Slightly off results in zero response. (PS I don't have bad eyesight!!!).Version: 2.0.5

✓ Great app, could use an Apple watch shutter though.The app is great, it has the ability to reach right into every iPhone camera setting directly from the Home Screen. ✓ A Real HitReeflex is an amazing camera app, and the recent addition of Slow Shutter mode makes it even better. The Slow Shutter mode works like it should too because it gives you the ability to adjust the shutter speed to smoothen out the capture so you don’t get that “braided” look. As a guy who does a podcast about iPhone photography, I have a lot of camera apps on my iPhone, but Reeflex lives in my Home Row. ✓ Get this appI’m a photographer and have struggled to find a phone app that gives you manual computational control over the camera. Then Reeflex comes out and it’s brilliant and free! The best part however is accessed by paying a little extra and gaining access to the long exposure settings. Both light trails / star trails and day time that you could use for clouds etc. you can set it from anywhere between 1 second and 2 hours and then bulb. ✓ Nice fit at a good priceTL;DR: Not as pretty as ProCamera and not as simple yet flexible as Halide, but a darn good fit right between the two. The low purchase price is a one-off and makes ReeFlex an incredible value. I’ve been using ProCamera since 2014, and Halide for almost a year. I was always intimidated by ProCamera’s multitude of settings and never felt like I was getting the most out of the app. I often reverted to the native iOS Camera app just for ease of use. Then I found Halide as part of a re-kindling of my photographic ambitions, and a new iPhone that could take advantage of it. Halide at first seemed like a perfect solution for me, until it wasn’t. Meanwhile, ProCamera revamped its UI, the settings seemed less daunting, and I started using it a lot more. Then, through a series of happy accidents, I found ReeFlex (and ReeXpose). ReeFlex is simple and flexible, and has an intuitive and pleasing UI. The image quality for RAW and ProRAW is on a par with ProCamera, and, I think, just a touch better than Halide. Plus, there is no subscription to commit to, no in-app purchases to make, and a really reasonable purchase price. I figure ReeFlex makes their money off of their lenses (which I don’t need at this time), so they can offer their app at a significant discount. I don’t really fuss about that because the app is so useful and effective..Version: 2.0.3

I ordered a case and the Pro Series Photo Bundle. There was a mix up with my order and I ended up receiving the Fish Eye lens. I emailed customer support and had the problem resolved within one day. ✓ Fantastic full camera control!What a great camera app! I normally don’t do reviews, but this app needs one. Fantastic full control of you iPhone camera. Can completely control your exposure triangle. From setting iso, to control of your shutter speed, it is in here. Focus peaking to get what you want as your depth of field. The best part I am having the most fun with is full control of shutter drag, from not only the 1-10 seconds the iPhone app does, but now you can go up to hours and beyond to full bulb mode. In bulb mode you have your choice of M mode for motion blur of cloud trails and smoothing water and L mode for light trails, star trails and light painting. I have not found another app that gives you as much as this one does to get you the most out of your iPhone camera. A MUST BUY for iPhone camera users..Version: 1.4

✓ Metadata + Remote ControlI’m loving this app as it gives me better control. But I am also wondering where I could find the metadata on this app providing the iso and shutter information. In addition to that can you incorporate the shutter button with Bluetooth enabling the user to use a remote control button.
