✓ Exciting, but needs more base weapons for all characters.I’m a little bummed out with some small details. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love this game so far, but what would really have me sold would be if we had more base weapons like AXL’s pistols or Zero’s buster gun. I’m not mad that we were able to at least get items like the Z-Saber and X-buster. I understand copyrighting but it is sponsored by CAPCOM. It couldn’t hurt to add a little more detail, more pulls for new characters or even passive skills like AXL’s cloning ability right?? That would be awesome! I love the game though! I look forward to seeing it grow. Please keep up the good work!.Version: 3.0

✓ Really only one problem.I want to start off by saying I have been playing this game everyday for going on about 4 or 5 months now and I’ve progressed relatively well. Throughout the entire game I’ve only came across one thing that not only doesn’t make any sense but it is quite aggravating. There are cards that you can acquire to do various attack and defense strategies and like among other things some are more common than others depicted by colors. Once a card is acquired you can level it up by either using a power up card or by combining it with the same type of card, all except for the gold cards for which these are the most rare cards and are difficult to collect. Not only can u not combine the gold cards the opportunity to gain a card that will power up a gold card is, let’s just say, non existent being that I haven’t acquired not even one since starting the game. I just don’t understand what is the point of giving 4 or 5 of the same cards to players who’ve done well in an event if you can’t even combine them. Other than that great game and the cards aren’t a huge issue in the game either so I don’t want to deter anyone from playing the game because I highly recommend the game..Version: 2.0

✓ NostalgicLoving the game, you see a variety of characters from across the entire series. The gameplay is engaging and so much better when playing with a controller. The gacha is what you’d expect, however it’s a bit generous with duplicates. It becomes resources that can be used towards any character to rank up the star rank. My major issue is Io, the new character that’s introduced. Would greatly appreciate it if there was an option to mute her, the voice exaggerations towards the player (in my opinion) becomes annoying after a while. Overall it’s a gacha megaman game. The gameplay is satisfying and it’s open to veteran and new players!.Version: 1.2.2

✓ Amazing game. Minor issuesIf you try this game I guarantee you’ll love it. Until you hit the progress walls. Which to be fair is mostly due to your own skill at the game. Although this is not entirely true. I will explain briefly. Power level is a number they use to determine your overall stats and to judge difficulty of levels. So for example me being at 100k. Im HALF the power level recommended for the chapter im in. The level difficulty is so obscure I can’t even begin to explain. All levels on all gear is capped at your player level. Player level only increases mainly by passing new levels. Therefore when I hit that 1 extra level. I will go and enhance everything one level higher. Gaining maybe 3k power. Total is now 103k! Well next level just jumped up 20k so…. Ya. Oh and you need to beat 6 more to level again…. So really your now doing 200k recommended runs with 103k power. Hoping that next week you might be at 120k…. Do they really expect us to just twiddle our thumbs till we level a few more times? Just to beat one stage and do it all over? It’s rough and this is coming from someone who’s very skilled. Everything else is amazing. They need to fix the level progression and that’s about it..Version: 1.2.2

(<3 Devs) #7 - PvP is brutal starting out. Ouch. 5* Rank, DNA, and Card combos required to be successful. #8 - Community is fun though. Good Megaman fanatics here. Discord is popping and people are active with tips and info. In game chat hurts but w/e. Join the Discord. #9 - Plot is skippable at best. Event bosses can be funny sometimes. The Summer Flame Mammoth Cruise Captain outfit was pretty epic. Summary: + Fun + Play as favorite characters with good variety of skills - Takes several months and a lot of love to “git gud” - Ranked PvP Meta is dominated by several characters, you have to build to counter and outplay to succeed + Good community - Takes dedication to power up and be viable. ✓ Nostalgia and funRecently bought all of the mega man collections and was disappointed that cap on isn’t making them anymore. So this app will likely be the last mega man game we’ll see. The game is fun and builds on the original idea in the first mega man X game. The whole idea of getting stronger as you progress in the game. Lots of fun characters to explore and fighting styles to choose for different gameplay. Controls on the phone are a little weird getting used to but you can tweak the controls to be similar to the OG mega man games. Really cool app and I hope falcon realizes the value in this brand and releases more games. Personally I’d love to play an all new updated mega man legends!.Version: 3.1
✓ Its ok but there is a few problems…This game has fun game play pretty fare gacha luck and great characters! So what’s the problem? Well number 1 Rico won’t shut up ever! I just want to play a level without her stupid high pitch voice screaming at me the lore of this game, Please add a mute button -_- then there is the next problem… the girl characters. They added jiggle physics… WHY DID THEY ADD JIGLE PHYSICS! its honestly super weird. Not to mention there are beach versions for almost every female character! ✓ X-Dive review15/10 gameplay Everything about this game is awesome. I love the cast of characters they added, the variety of weapons to choose from, and the numerous ways to interact is just making my heart a flutter. However, I do have one concern. I’ve recently been getting a odd screen whenever I open up the Dive story. It always send me to the Highway area, but all the levels seem to be in a straight line, all with boss logos on them. I’m unable to interact with the screen, forcing me to close and open the game again...only for the same thing to happen again..Version: 1.2

I started this game about a month ago now and I have dropped nearly $800 lol, it’s a gacha game and I like collecting all the cool looking characters. ✓ A Dream Come TrueBefore anyone asks: Yes, this game is worth your time! As someone who grew up with Megaman starting with Megaman 8 and the X games, I absolutely loved playing the mobile titles on my Nintendo Gameboy Color, my Nintendo Gameboy Advance, and my Nintendo DS. I believe this Action RPG is worth playing because it is well put together and brings back the nostalgia from playing the original games - even if this app does work with the standard tap and slide controls most mobile games use. Prospective players please note that this game is also gacha; I’m not entirely sure how I feel about the current pull rates, but even just playing as Megaman X is super fun so I’ll see how this goes. (I’m sure those with deep wallets will have better access to limited characters - like always - but that doesn’t make the less rare characters any less viable.) I haven’t unlocked multiplayer yet as of this review, however the gameplay is stellar (I use normal X’s buster shot & the beam saber for melee and ranged styles), the interface isn’t convoluted, and the music top notch. ✓ Amazing game, but it’s a grind gameLove the game mechanics. You can tell the the developers gave special attention to pay homage to the Rockman | Megaman legacy. To offer feedback to make the game better, please make resource cultivation less restrictive. Character/weapon/chip/etc development is at the core of this game and to do this effectively, you must buy-in. Which I understand, but the more value should be added to those who want to. At times I find paid EM vs regular EM confusing and limiting. The quotas to pull from capsules are too high to be enjoyable. For instance, your current Dark Codes event gives us 30 free every day OR 300 for 1000 EM. Pay $22+(32*19)=$763 or grind it. We need 6000 DC for 40 memory of our choosing. That’s maybe one rank up. Eliminate paid EM, be less restrictive. It’s a game after all. PVP matchmaking could use some adjustments. If it would require a paid subscription to maintain servers to do so, I’d be willing, but oftentimes I don’t find a suitable matchup. They’re either way out of my league/OP or there are no players at all. No game modes, events, or co-op play. Jus deathmatch..Version: 4.1
✓ A fun way to pass some time.I’m a huge fan of the X series and while this has its fair share of references to the original series, the gameplay is more inspired by the X games. It may not be a mainline installment, but I do think it’s a nice nod to the series and a fun little game. The amount of characters is a plus s too, as you can play as both heroes and a couple villains too and there’s plenty of weapons from across the series as well. ✓ Everything is fine, except no controller supportSo I’ve played this game for a little bit. I see that the gameplay is fine. The graphics are fine. The story is fine and the micro transaction stuff is fine. I don’t like is how it has no controller support even know most of all the other games I do play the Grandtheft auto series which came out like seven something years ago on mobile phones supports controllers except for this game, including capcoms relaunch of the MegaMan X game that was originally taken down which also doesn’t support controllers. I use a backbone controller for most my games and so far all the GTA games work with controllers, steam link works awesome with controllers, Apple Arcade works with controllers, Microsoft X cloud works with controllers and PS now works with controllers except for this game, so I just hope in the future that they do add it because everyone else has done it..Version: 5.0

✓ Latest Event DialogueThere’s a scene with Ico with her stating, “You seem a bit dim-witted, so it comes as a surprise you’re pretty clear headed! I was going to say that if you continue to make a scene, I’ll go boil hot water and pour it on your head so that it can wake you up.” (“I’ll go boil hot water and pour it on your head.”) I get it, Ico is nasty and pretentious, but usually, if you want to wake someone up, you usually use cold water. I was two years old and had climbed on top of a stove and reached for a pot of turkey grease and oil that just came out of the oven. I ended up with third degree burns and have a faded scar on my arm from scratching at my irritating burns at the time. Kids/adolescents are impressionable, and if they think this is normal amongst their friends, I promise you, those kids aren’t going to be on speaking terms anymore. It’s bad enough that Tik Tok will undo anything that should be normal behavior, but I think there are better ways to get your point across..Version: 5.0

✓ Peak MegaManI’ve been playing MegaMan since Zero 1 came out for the GBA, that game lead me to a love of the series that hit its peak in StarForce: Dragon. When this game came out in 2019, I missed it. It flew under my radar until just two days ago. From the moment the game started on the Opening Highway Of X1, I knew it would be a good game. Controls are intuitive and responsive, with auto targeting picking off enemies with buster shots is easy. And the gameplay itself is fun. With several variations of Busters, Launchers Spreadshots and a slew of Melee, this game offers a unique and Dynamic RPG Experience. The Power Level System serves to keep lower level and underprepared users out of higher difficulty areas and missions, but skill easily makes up for the difference. It’s rare that a MOBILE game with a Gacha system has a reliance on actual skill, but here we are. My Free to Play Default MegaMan X with a power level of 40k is breezing through stages with a PL of 89K, all it takes is time and skill. If you’re a fan of the MegaMan series, this game is meant for you dear Player..Version: 7.1

✓ Mega Man fans will be happyIt’s so nice to have all sub-series of Mega Man represented here. With a controller, the gameplay is really tight and responsive, and the variety of weapons and characters make for interesting gameplay. There are some bugs present, but I expect them to be ironed out as the game goes on. It’s fairly easy to make a good amount of progress as f2p, but the amount of upgrade materials and sub-systems can be overwhelming at first. ✓ Not bad but also has flaws that impact longevityYou want a 2D side scroller gacha set in the Megaman universe? You’ve come to the right place! The game is split into Story campaign, all your dailies/some event, and PVP. Most new players complain about getting stuck in the story mode (as enemies become bullet sponges), but that’s just how gachas work. You’ll need to grind out the various ways of increasing your power level, and eventually story mode becomes trivial. It’s kind of neat that you can choose different weapons, from busters to sprayers to shotguns to machine guns to rocket launchers to swords, but outside these categories, all the weapons are pretty much the same with different properties like rate of fire and damage per shot. Where the game starts to fall apart is after you’ve cleared most of the PVE content and only really have PVP to focus on. PVP is unbalanced so that that people who connect game controllers to the game will always 100% win because it’s easier to exploit certain mechanics with a controller. Some people claim that when everyone can equally exploit, then there’s a layer of strategy involved, so maybe give this game a go if you already have a game controller? Otherwise, I find the gacha to be generous enough for FtP to be able to enjoy the game as a pickup without having to feel like you need to pay..Version: 2.0

✓ It’s Mega, man...nuff saidIt’s everything you could want out of a classic Mega Man platformer. Yes, you could complain about the micro transactions but that’s how these games survive anymore. Luckily, it’s not crucial to enjoying the game and if you’ve ever played a classic Mega Man game then you will be pleasantly surprised by this app. It’s nice to see many characters from the Mega-verse able to team up on screen and delve into some Mega Man lore. ✓ Controller support worksI’m not sure why there are so many reviews asking for controller support when it’s already in the game. This includes the Backbone controller. You just go to settings - controls. Tap on the button you want to map to controller. At the top where it says gamepad mapping click on “none” than press the button on the controller that you want to assign it to. You can map the analog stick or the dpad for movement. You have to click on the individual up, down, left and right arrows and map them accordingly. Works just fine using Backbone , Xbox controller, etc..Version: 7.2
✓ A Great Take on MegaMan XThis game is surprisingly great, and the controls work really well for a mobile platformer. Some of the weapon upgrades, slotting, and abilities are things I’d love to see included in a future Mega Man X installment. Seeing a lot of these stages re-created in a Maverick Hunter style is cool too. The only downside here is that there seems to be some audio bugs when going to the Home Screen and then re-entering the app, but this is pretty rare. The story is also really bad and a slog to have to deal with the dialogue. I wasn’t really expecting anything because this is a gatcha game, and these stories are usually pretty bad since they have to justify all of these different characters being in one spot. I just wish there was a cutscene toggle or that the skip button actually skipped everything, but this is honestly just a nitpick. This could change, but I feel that the game is overall pretty generous with what you get for f2p if you actually play it. It’d be really great to get a Steam port of this as I’d like to play it on a larger screen..Version: 1.2.4

✓ Absolutely play this if you are a fan of the series.I’m an avid fan of the Mega Man series so it’s only logical I fell in love with this game. I’ve been playing before the international release through use of emulation and I have seriously been enjoying myself. Most of my problems with this game mostly come down to nit picks in all honestly. The Mega Man X series formula of satisfying platforming transitioned great to mobile and while not perfect, the feeling is still there. The amount of fan service is incredible as well. You can play as so many different characters spanning from the entire Mega Man franchise it’s actually crazy. The game is also receiving frequent updates so, you definitely have a reason to keep logging in. My biggest complaint as of now is just that I can’t transfer my main account to mobile. But it’s honestly not that big of a deal. A lot of people like to complain about the capsules but, most games of this nature require a decent amount of luck so, it’s not a very fair criticism. Overall I’ve been enjoying my time with this game as it feels incredibly quality which is something not many mobile games strive for..Version: 1.2
✓ Backbone/controller supportThis game DOES work with controllers (including the Backbone), but it isn’t mapped by default. You need to set up your controls to make it work. That said, because it doesn’t work natively (and why not?), it doesn’t get the “compatible with controllers” logo on the app, nor the ability for it to be added as a playable app with Backbone. That’s a huge miss. The game’s fine. I just wish the devs would stop moving things around or making users click through a bunch of dumb stuff every day. There’s a lot of games out there that use popular assets to catch the eye and make a quick buck in the in game shops. My only problem was this glitch i experience where whenever i open another app for a moment and return and return back to the game, all noise from the game completely stops. ✓ Dive story odd screenHello, I would first like to say that I love X-Dive. I’ve always been a fan of the X series, nonetheless most of the Mega Man games. So seeing this game come to America is a dream come true for me. However, I have had a reoccurring issue with my game. Recently, whenever I go to the Dive screen, it will automatically take me to the Highway stage select screen, which is fine. But the thing is that all the levels are in the middle of the screen, going left to right all labeled 1-1 and have the boss logo on them. I’m unable to leave the screen or do anything, causing me to close and reopen the game again. Is there any way Capcom themselves can fix this or is there something I have to do myself?.Version: 1.2
✓ Fun game but draw rates for characters are very poorIt’s a fun mega man game and I love that you can play with any character you want. The only thing that sucks is whenever there are banners with both characters and weapons, I’ve noticed that the odds seem to always to be in favour of the weapons. Multiple draws and it feels like 85% of the time that a weapon A rank or S rank always appears as opposed to an A rank or S rank characters appearing. Other than that, it’s fun..Version: 3.2

✓ Amazingly fun, but a couple small issues…For a MegaMan X (or any MegaMan) fan, this game is a wonderful mix of nostalgia and a fresh way to play a great series. There are two problems that keep grinding on me though; 1) If you swap out of the app for any reason, and swap back in without having closed it completely, all audio will be completely missing until restarting the app. I’ve caused this even accidentally so, so many times, and it’s especially irritating mid-level. 2) The *grind*. A lot of materials are more tedious to farm than they really need to be, which can make getting stronger to continue the story a real chore. I’ve not run out of stamina yet despite having played for almost a week now, but I can imagine that if I did/when I do, it would just be even more annoying and take away from the enjoyment of the game. While I can enjoy the game and get past these irritations, it’s definitely blemishing what could otherwise be a perfect homage to the X series, and the franchise as a whole. (If nothing else, PLEASE fix the audio bug. I don’t wanna have to keep restarting my game every time I get a text. 😓).Version: 3.2
✓ It keeps deleting my account!I have restarted this game twice now and it keeps deleting my linked saved data. The first time I bound with Apple, and when I closed and then reopened the game it made me start the tutorial and everything on that Apple account was gone. So I restarted a new game and bound it to Facebook, and the same thing happened where my account info was deleted and it started the tutorial again. Whhhhy? I really liked this game but if every time I close the app it deletes my data then it’s just not worth playing.Version: 7.2
