✓ New kitchen package really funI downloaded this app months ago- I played the games and renovated the cottage over time- I added the garden package- it took a long time to earn the points needed to renovate the garden as I wanted everything and the points needed to earn items was very high- the points to renovate have now been adjusted so it doesn’t take as long to renovate- the new kitchen addition has been a lot of fun- I was able to renovate all three kitchens with points I had saved up until the kitchen package was available- it was worth the wait- the videos each day were really fun- they can be rewatched in the activity calendar- it was really fun to have three kitchens to work on- if more packages are made and they are as fun as the kitchen package I am sure I will get them- the only thing I would change is the number of games- there needs to be a few more games or activities throughout each package to earn points- I have enjoyed the Christmas app that is made each year, the card app & the coloring book app- thank you Jacquie Lawson & staff for all of your efforts in all of you products! 🌻.IhatemoderntechnologyVersion: 3.0.2

✓ Quiet funThis is a simple, basic game. You can decorate your cottage—a little. And you can play a few little games. But the game with the beads has given me hours of fun without the noise and lights of most games. I play an audiobook and play with no goal in mind. (Also, it gives the most points while you’re decorating your cottage.).Good typer.Version: 2.1.1

✗ Doesn’t workToo bad. Same thing as other reviews…even only 2 out of 3 cards sent didn’t work. Disappointing. Cottage showed up once and just tells me to redo w load or repurchase. Too bad because it looks like a nice site except that things do not work..New name pendingVersion: 2.1.1

✗ Work in ProgressAs usual, the Jacquie Lawson folks have exceeded themselves with the graphics. I agree with the other reviewers that playing the three games over and over to get points is tiresome. However, it’s a nice way to entertain yourself when you’re on a long phone call. The point requirements for some of the items are a bit high. After I met all the point goals and reached the level where you could redecorate the place by picking items from a catalogue, I stopped. I liked the cottage as is. After all, I put a lot of work in getting it in shape. ;) It would be nice to put fresh flowers on the tables or add books to the bookcases, but that’s not an option. It would also be great for the stationery activity if you could send your note to one of your contacts in your Jacquie Lawson contact list, but you’re not permitted to that. Seems strange. I was hoping to find several of the wonderful Jacquie Lawson easter eggs, but they only recycled the ones of the cats mewing and the dog lifting its head. For example, I’d love to see the sheep stop roaming and do something when you click on them. I figure this cottage adventure is a work in progress.
