✓ PLEASE FIX DYNAMITE & ENERGYI really enjoy this game and so far it has been a blast. However a couple things worth noting that I think could use adjustment for optimal gameplay is energy capacity and the dynamite placement/recognition. Ever since the beginning of the game I have been able to do so much because I go so far beyond my energy bank's capacity...and now that I'm out of the introduction phase I can only remove like one big thing and then have to log off because I can't do anything else. I get you guys want money but come on, it's a bit ridiculous here. So I used my gems to get dynamite to try and clear two really big stones that cost a LOT of energy to mine and the game will not allow me to place it near both easily, and on top of that it won't select both stones in any of the allowed places, which is EXTREMELY frustrating. I feel this is something that needs urgent fixing because dynamite costs gems which costs $$, and therefore it should work as intended. I think this could be solved by increasing the dynamite's radius. My biggest problem is that when I first started they gave you the option to watch a few ads to help with energy and diamonds, then that option went away. A few weeks ago it came back and I actually liked being able to watch a few ads for some energy or diamonds. I understand that in-app purchases are optional but with no other way to get energy or diamonds I wind up buying just to finish a quest. This game has gotten so greedy, most games give a few freebies here and there as an incentive, not this company. They even limit the amount of chests they set out so that you can’t even use the keys you get from quests completed. The more offers available, the more pop ups you get. If you don’t purchase an offer, you will continue to get that pop up ad several times a day forever. I’m getting a couple dozen of them every day now. Sometimes 6-8 in a row, making it difficult to actually play the game! I know where the offers are if I want to buy one, I don’t need the game constantly popping up ads for them all day long. And don’t even think about getting support. There is none. Going from having six days to complete an event to having less than three has been very disappointing and now it’s even worse because the next event starts before the first event even finishes. That basically means you have to debate which one you want to finish because less than three days doesn’t give you enough time to finish the event as it is. I’m extremely disappointed because I left another game for this one specifically because of that fact. I’m used to glitches such as the app frequently crashing or getting stuck on the loading screen, but this past week all the energy orbs, free gems, and free speed ups that you can get by watching ads have completely disappeared. It takes hours for energy to re-generate and a whole day to get enough resources to make certain items. This is making it impossible to make any progress in the game or win any of the competitions to earn prizes unless you’re a paying player. ✓ My honest opinionI think this is a great game however the annoying thing about it is that:1;all the characters end up talking while I’m trying to do something and 2; the intro was weird it forced me to put items in places that I didn’t want to put them in and every time I wanted to do something it would just say “wait for intro to finish” but the game was going on /already started the characters were moving and it was telling me to do this that the other. On the other hand, the game is fun earning coins/diamonds and building on an entire island is a great game for me. ✓ Great game but everything takes too longThe game did used to allow you to watch ads to get energy which meant you could get consistent game play for a decent amount of time but all of a sudden that isn’t happening the option has vanished which means you can only play like a minute at a time and then have to leave it hours before you can play again so I am very disappointed but will now stop playing this game. ✓ Boring - just endless tasksUnlike games like Atlantis, Klondike & Family Farm Adventure, Bermuda is just endless tasks (often w nowhere near enough time to finish them even if you have enough energy because the creating of items required takes too long). Add to this the fact that you can’t access everything that’s visible makes this game very frustrating. For example, on monkey island I can’t go thru the gate despite everything being cleared. It keeps saying it’s not available. There is no obvious reason WHY & so the task of completing the island eludes me. Yet they gave me a frog island w only one DAY plus a few hours to finish it. They start you out at a river crossing yet there is no way to cross because nothing is accessible, even items that are not covered by the “fog.” I had to zoom out so I could see the whole island to see where the father was & that was where I needed to start. Yet when I first arrived on frog island, I was the daughter at the river. Very confusing & not well laid out. I’ve been playing this kind of game since before Facebook’s FarmVille. I wanted to run around and collect eggs on a conveyor belt and load them in trucks… There's one little chicken that runs around you can feed two or three times a day. You have to travel from island to island and you might find that you need an item that is only available on your home island so you have to go back there to collect one thing and then return back to complete the task. This happens a lot. They do offer quite a few packages and bushes laying around with free energy in them which is nice. However, when you click on something, it doesn't tell you what you're going to get if you spend your energy to chop it down so you can waste some energy doing this. There are a lot of the events like a snowman building one you will never be able to complete in time without buying a fair amount of energy. ✓ Used to be good…When I first started playing this game I thought it was better than any other world-building game because the energy usage compared to obtaining resources using energy seemed comparable to each other. But it killed it for me that on my second day of playing I got the “unreachable” everyone is talking about and the place is outgrowing with stuff, plus I can’t advance on my tasks. On one of the islands that we are having for a limited time, after spending energy picking up what I needed, it was nowhere to be found on my items! ✓ Chinese new year “Monster” Island disappearedReview on the game in general. It’s a decent game. A bit, unique from anything else I’ve downloaded before, so that was a nice change. While it’s nice to see new content, being added, different island, themes, side, games, and contest, etc. There’s things that were removed from the game that I missed quite a bit. This includes the 50% off energy on the temporary island for a specified number of minutes, and also a 50% off the usage of gems on a temporary island for a specific number of minutes. Both of those things added an extra element of strategy to the game. If you played your cards right, you would make sure that you had plenty of energy and then go to the island and get through as many of the tasks as possible. I think my biggest issue with this game is the amount of ads. It’s nice that you have the opportunity to gain, extra energy or a couple diamonds by watching add videos, but the type of videos that play are sometimes inappropriate. whoever they are sourcing for add video content, they might want to request that they keep it PG13 at the highest. It reflects poorly on the game, when the ads that they have playing our sexist, disturbing to some viewers, extremely violent, promote sexual situations, and a couple other, potentially nasty things. So for the reputation of this game itself, I would take a closer look at who your sourcing your ad content through. Now for the in game ads. These are the ads that offer you game content and exchange for real world currency. As a big component of the game is “temporary island“ there can be a overwhelming amount of ads, trying to interest players in purchasing items, extra energy, jewels, etc. They automatically pop up when you first log into the game, and after you perform a couple actions within the game. The problem is there is about a half dozen of these ads that pop up one after the other. Generally, there are two temporary islands active at once. That means that that’s a nearly a dozen ads that you have to wait for them pop up and then close. this can get very tedious. - - - Updated review I contacted the app creators through the game itself. They replied, fairly quickly, less than 24 hours. They were aware that there was an issue. They were able to give me a couple things to try to fix the issue. After backing up the game, so I wouldn’t lose my progress, I found that deleting it and re-downloading worked. Got a bit of a scare though when it looked like I would have to start over. Thankfully, a screen appeared asking me if I wanted to reload my old progress. Unfortunately, by the time all this got sorted out, the island that I had spent over $70 on packages for, had expired. I’m disappointed that I wasn’t able to get the. Niana monster, as a decoration for my island. Takes 24 energy for 3 pieces of ore, 32 energy to receive 8 logs, and another 32 energy for 8 stones. You will need 240 energy for the ore, 128 energy for logs, and 160 energy for the stones, so to complete this task you will need 528 energy. Energy replenishes at 1 every 2 minutes. Don’t worry though, there are “hidden” caches of extra energy and jewels along the way! All you need to do to get to those caches is unlock boxes using the keys you get from a trader by providing produced goods, which require supplies, that require energy to get. I reached a point that required real money if I truly wanted to complete a task and continue play. I put it down to the fact it was a really hot day. In a side quest to get olives off a tree you need marble (!), tree bark, and algae - no not 1 each. You get 1 olive off the tree and you need 4. I blew through about 100 energy on the marble alone.
