Good game, too hard to advanceUPDATE 14OCT19: I am very close to deleting this app. Ever since a recent update, the game has serious bugs that make continuing a waste of time and effort. The boat delivery board resets, if you leave the game. So, I stayed to finish out an entire string of orders. Then it crashed/reset on its own and I lost progress again. I have sent messages about this bug, even included screen shots and my email address for a reply. I have heard nothing back. Also, completing the special tasks, like getting rewards from the regatta, is near to impossible. One task requires that diamonds be used to buy trees for the silk moths. I guess they only cater to players, who have real money to waste on a dumb game. I’m beyond frustrated and mad! I really enjoy farming games and this is fairly enjoyable. However, I am now at level 15, where many opportunities open up. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to accumulate enough coins to buy more land or complete orders to get stars to advance further. ✓ It’s a good game but...This farm style game is pretty good but does have some elements that are maddening because it is not necessary for it to happen. Case in point, the Funky Market... you click on it and the market pops up with what looks like to be an assortment of items for you to click on, BUT even if you click on them immediately, there is NOTHING to select... everything is sold! My gripe is, why don’t the developers exclude all those that have sold everything from the list display. Only include things that are actually available at the moment. Yes, I know the stuff gets picked right away, but when I click on something that has 10 minutes to go, there is literally NOTHING in all the selections at the moment I click on it. That is not realistic, and it is frustrating. ✓ Serious Glitches Detract From am Otherwise Fun GameI was looking for an alternative to Township which has become a money grab for Playrix exploiting long time players. I though I had found it and was enjoying it despite some minor bugs and glitches (icons like energy or milk showing up in weird places on the map, etc.). However, the most recent update had a major impact on playability, and seriously impacted my decision to invest anymore time and effort in it. After 4 days and a lot of time and effort, I was close to completing the Dino Island event. Then they released a new update. The net result is that the island has reverted back to almost the beginning with the majority unexplored, my progress of 6 out of the ice dinosaur king tasks was wiped out, but I’m still showing I’m on that task now but with no progress. It took me 4 days to get this far. With the event ending in 2 days, I basically just have to give up. Sorry, but the QA is seriously lacking and it’s just not fun to have all your effort and time wiped out every time a new release introduces even more bugs. ✓ Lots of bugsThis game is good, the competition and goals are updated often. It provides a lot of mental stimulation. HOWEVER with lots of updates comes a lot of bugs and issues. After getting to level 40 I had to reset because my game wouldn’t load past 20% for days and I lost all of my progress. I’ve had problems with the game before and got help but it no longer seems like the developers are concerned with helping fix bugs. I couldn’t get any help from their support not even acknowledgment to my many requests and emails. The new market, the loss of extras daily/ no more selling for what you want in the market.. previously, things like this made the game more fun.. these aren’t the only changes.. they also changed the rewards for when you win on the submarine missions and boats. Reduction in energy winnings, to many changes in a short period of time. Everything went up, pays little, and requires more real money. Greed has a big part in this. ✓ DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!This game is an absolute cash grab!!!! They are constantly asking for gems, but they are VERY hard to get. There is also a clam that comes and takes your gems and extra gems. And if you accidentally tap the “spend gems” button, you’re toast. There is really no confirmation button. There is an adventure button where you can go to different islands and play there, how ever you need energy. Energy is so rare, you can only play the thing for less than 3 minutes. Same with the diving adventure. And the MARKET! My family and I downloaded this thinking it would be fun to do together, but NO!! If you want to trade with a certain someone, the only way is to put it on the public market. There is no private way to trade. And the thing is, there is a possibility that some rand-o could buy the stuff before the person your trading with can see it. ✓ Unplayable Game nowThis game had such promise, if only you could find the items you need to progress, without having to spend loads of gems, which cost lots of real money! The tasks are ridiculously difficult, given the lack of barn space to collect them in. The rewards for completing tasks aren’t worth the effort. Trees and bushes have shot up in price several times, with the cheapest ones costing 500 each or above, depending on your level in the game and the cost of buying new land or buildings is astronomical so saving hundreds of thousands of coins is nearly impossible! Even after waiting days to finish a building, you still have to find additional items to complete it! Dead bushes and trees need tools to cut them down and fill up the available space. The tools have got much harder to find and the dead honey bushes can’t be replaced until they are removed, therefore you can’t make the honey for task items! The Funky market never has much in it, even when it has just refreshed! Half an hour to refresh and it’s full of sold items or just empty stalls! ✓ Cute but buggyThis is a cute game. I love the concept, the characters, the tasks and games, the islands. But it is buggy, even glitchy. The market is full of items that are already sold, making it nearly useless. Many players have complained but there’s no response. The cost of items increasing as you move up levels is ridiculous. An apple tree should cost the same on every level. The in-game chat for neighbors works sporadically and is very limiting. The islands are cute and I love this separate game, but the cost to clear them is high. Again, complaints from everyone but silence from the developers. I’ve paid real money for them in the past, as I want to support the game. It’s at the point that I am not sure that I will give the game any more money until problems are fixed. And finally, the regatta. Fantastic concept, I love it and my neighborhood. But it needs an overhaul. The tasks are too low in points to make a serious run for placing in top 3, and this is after an update. So they made it harder. And there are teams, regularly from outside the United States, that rack up impossible points in the first few minutes of the race. It’s impossible, so something is going on. ✓ Lots of bugs, NO customer serviceI love the concept of this game! However, there are many many bugs that make this game so frustrating it’s not worth investing time in anymore. The challenges are impossible to finish or to make any progress on unless you spend money for gems to clear land. There is a gem trap on the challenges in the form of a pop up box that will pop up quickly at the same time you are clearly land and suddenly you’ve accidentally clicked on this random box and lost all of the gems you’ve worked hard to collect. There is a coon trap in the store where you click on items to buy, the store takes your coins, but you never get the items. Add to it the multitude of other problems that happen on a daily basis in this game and it’s worth taking a pass on spending time with an unreliable app as this seems to be. I have contacted customer support several times for lost items on my account. I never receive any response back except a predrafted response telling me how busy they are and how updates have been made. What updates? Where? And please tell us how that is helping the issue we are coming to you about! Telling us you have made updates without resolving our losses is as good as the zero response that I have also gotten in the past from support. ✓ Ruined this gameThis game was great to start off with but did have a few problems with glitches, cheaters ‘doing’ a ridiculous number of tasks in the regatta (no way they could do 4K tasks!) and it was sometimes was a bit boring with the same old, same old tasks coming up. In March 2021, they performed market upgrades and other game enhancements that took my barn and silo from 1725 back to where it was when I first started playing the game. It cost me a significant amount of money to get the barn and silo up th where I could store my product. When told about the issue, the refused to put my barn and silo back to 1725 and offered a paltry 300 gems to make it right. They have done nothing to reimburse me for the money they’ve stolen from me. I have filed a complaint with the CA BBB, under belkin games, which they have ignored. I can’t be the only person they’ve done this to. Anyone else experiencing this type of issue should also file with the better business bureau. If others are going through this as well, a class action law suit will be filed. So you can’t sell orders to make money or make space in the barn because you don’t have enough space for the rest of the items needed for the order! Also, the time things take shouldn’t go up...lemon trees when you first get them took 2 hours and now they take 3 hours. I am at level 36 and the game has slowed considerably and yes I have spent money because I was enjoying the game and at times there are lots of things to do with the various islands to explore. ✓ What on EarthI have been playing this game for over a year now. I really enjoyed it. I am part of a fantastic community and we work together on the regattas and generally do really well. This new update is ridiculous. We used to be able to trade items we needed with each other in the market. Now you can only buy what the game decides to put in the market. All of the shops you need to build to make certain things as you progress, cost far too much money, trying to force you to buy in app purchases to speed things up. Levelling up as you progress starts to take a century, the xp levels are set far too high. I’m guessing this so they don’t have to keep updating the game so often. There are a ridiculous amount of extra island adventures. They don’t last long enough for you to get even 1/2 way through them, so are basically pointless. The submarine is a joke too. The amount of oxygen you are given and the amount required are again another way to try and make you pay to play. All in all, I liked the game to begin with, I’ve had issues with it since November and no one helped me in the support department. I got to where I could not collect any honey because I can't plant more flowers since the dead flowers count against the crop limit and the game never gives me shovels to get rid of them. The persistent storage squeeze mean we cannot develop inventories of any quantity, making it impossible to fill hardly any of the timed orders. ✓ Nerfing the marketI have been playing the game for months now. And really enjoyed it. Finally found a fun and active neighborhood to join where we worked together to complete tasks and help each other out. Now with the latest update they have totally nerfed the market. Instead of players buying and selling with each other and the market updates every 10 minutes with several players with multiple bins of items they have replaced it with one that has 10 bins. And those items don’t change for 6 hours unless you spend 10 gems to get new items. On top of that where we had basically from over 100 possible bins when buying from other players we are down to 10...unless you spend gems to additional bins. The items they have vary and you cab find items that sold fast in the player’s market and you pay top price for them which was common in the player’s market as well. But you could also sell items at the highest price as well. Now you sell to no one (so you can’t sell to mates in need) but you can sell through your silo and barn...at the cheapest possible price. This also caused the regatta task to sell items to go away. One of my favorites to perform. Updates like this one will kill the game off because l am sure it is only the first in more to follow down the road to make you pay to play to get anywhere. I will give it some time to see what happens, but if money l spent on the game is going to upgrades like this...l will be keeping my money from now on..TheLicensedVersion: 40.1.22

✓ Very addictive but not worth itThis game is so fun and so addictive. I truly love the regatta challenges. Although there are two huge problems with this game. First the game is so glitchy. Kicks me out of the game and causes me to reboot it so often that it makes me scream. I would stop playing this if I wasn’t addicted to it. I have completely stop playing the great journey part of this game. Every time I log into that part of the game it immediately kicks me out. Second problem is the expeditions. The amount of product you have to put in those boxes is way more than what you get back from the expedition . Some of the product required days to prepare and it’s not worth the little bit of seafood you get which you have to do this in order to do some of the dishes. ✓ New MarketAs frustrating as it was to constantly have everything in the market purchased within seconds, this new market is a nightmare. We are now selling the things that we produce at a MASSIVE discount — how are we ever to purchase the necessary equipment to make the products needed to play this game when we barely make any money selling our products? ADDITIONALLY, there is a six hours wait for 10 new market products to become available. That is nonsensical. This has been a fun pandemic game, but I have put far too much money into buying gems to now have the rug ripped out from underneath me with the market change. ✓ Too many ads!I love this game and I’ve gotten pretty far in it too but I don’t think l’ll be playing it much longer. It’s the ads. I can’t take it. If they’re really necessary, at least have a paid version I can pay ONE TIME for so I can bypass them. Those ads are the main vibe killer. ✓ App crashingI’ve been playing this game for a month or so now, and I am addicted to it! It’s very fun, great way to pass the time. For the last week, I’ve been having problems with the app crashing. Especially when I go to the other islands. It started when I was going to “Faces of Antiquity”, when I would try to remove obstacles. Everything would get slow, and then the app would crash. I’ve made it past that island to the next one, and it’s still crashing almost every time when I try to remove obstacles, or when I try to return home. There have been a few times that I have also had it crash when I have been at my home farm. This is the only problem I have had with this game so far, but it’s making it harder and harder to play when it crashes on me dozens of times a day. I have a brand new iPhone and it is updated, so I know it has nothing to do with anything on my side. ✓ Lost the whole game, gems, progress - poor customer supportI contacted support over 4 weeks ago, as the game was not loading and when it did load I had gone back to level when I was on level 63.
