✓ Do not let children play this gameThe age rating for this game being 9 plus is completely wrong it should be 16 plus, the amount of truly disgusting things said in chat is horrific as a parent and I’m not easily offended. But for children aged 9 and over to be seeing the homophobic, racists and sexually explicit things said in chat by people who have admitted they’re adults to people who have said they are a child is a concern. ✓ Money grabber and unfair banning of account..To be fair, this game is absolutely fun, i had enjoyed playing this game, so much things to do, keeps you busy and of course, very strategic.. but if you want to progress as much, you will need to spend a huge amount of money, i spent quite an amount only to be banned after spending more than a thousand of dollars. I asked for a refund for i had received a receipt about a purchased successful after a week and a half i had not purchased anything using my card. I asked to get refunded but my request got denied. Then I received a message saying about abnormal refund and that they are gonna ban my account if i don’t pay the said amount. I contacted theants which they say don’t forget the “@“ but they never get back at me and totally banned my game account...Version: 3.13.0

✓ New Update Ruined The GameI’ve been playing this game for the past couple months and Ive really enjoyed it, but due to today’s new ornament update, Ive had a strong change of heart towards this game. Basically, there are weekly events that allows you to grind for ornaments which give buffs that helps you advance through the game. Ornaments are a cool way of showing off your accomplishments while also strengthening your anthill. With this update, it limits the amount of grid spaces occupied by ornaments to be only 10 spaces. Larger ornaments that take up 3 grid space are almost useless now as you won’t be able to use them. An entire weeks work of grinding is voided and the only way to increase the amount of ornament spaces is unlocked through spending real money. So there is literally no point at grinding to get ornaments in this game because you can’t even use them. Please change this or there will be a large portion of the ant community leaving this game..Version: 1.13.0

✓ Extortion/fraud warningAttempted to buy items in game and had a cc issue so the purchases didn’t go through. Unfortunately, Apple sent them the money anyway after my credit card information was updated and I never received the items I was trying to buy. When I initiated a refund through Apple, starunion decided to go and extort me. They basically demanded that I buy tokens to “repay” what was refunded or be banned. Since I enjoy the game and my fellow players, I bought the tokens, and then starunion took them from me. So they still got something for nothing. The joke is on them tho, since I was planing to get one of the $300 paid insects. Since they ripped me off for $9, I’m not gonna buy it. Short term greed killed a future, big sale. I just downloaded the game and was exited to play but suddenly something popped up in my face that said please try again later. ✓ Needs workIt’s a good game, but needs lot of work, the translation button is way to small, and it doesn’t translate the greatest, when talking in the chats, after entering your message, have to hit done then send, why can’t there just be a send button, and words said in chat, I typed in “ghosting” and it blocked out every letter but the g and the ing, it’s not a swear word, when out on the map it gets laggy so makes scrolling hard to do, while scrolling on the map if you click something the information pops up, but to get it off doesn’t work so well, you click in different spot and something else pops up, rallies, when someone sets a rally, there is a rally tab that pops up, we click it to join rally, but once you join it boots you out of the rally area and the tab disappears, so then you have to go into the chat to join a second rally, and why can only 4 ppl maximum join a rally, if you have 50+ people in an alliance, how is it fair to the new people trying to grow, because rallies are one of best ways to grow, customer support, there’s no way to contact customer support to give suggestions or to inform them of a glitch, there’s a gm, but each time I’ve tried to send suggestions all it does is bring up informational Q&A, I know it’s a newer game, these are a few things I’ve noticed in the week I’ve been playing, overall isn’t bad so far.Version: 1.11.1

They ignored my message for a week, then after I sent another message saying stop ignoring me they replied almost instantly and said we will warn him… That’s not enough, so I messaged back and said I don’t want him warned I want him banned it’s not okay. Still no reply after another week. Then I get warned for calling him homophobic in chat… clearly they don’t care about the players. ✓ Poorly balanced(updated)While there are good things about this game the poor balance between ants ruins the game. There are 3 types of ants set up in a rock,paper,scissors setup. While in theory it sounds good it isn’t!, 1 type of the 3 ants is far superior to the others which causes almost all players to use that ant obviously while if you picked 1 of the other 2 you might as well not play the game. The poor balance is very discouraging and makes you lose interest in the game easily. I would suggest looking for a better balanced game instead of wasting time and money on this. So does the developers care to rectify this you might wonder. Well they just came out with a more powerful ant favoring the 90% of the players that use the one type. ✓ Money sink and greedy companyI’m all for investing my time and money in a game with a good company behind it but this isn’t that. They take the players best interests into zero consideration when making game changing decisions for paid items and constantly devalue things. Their customer support is non-existent. You basically have the lowest level of a customer service rep to voice your concerns to and they will not allow you to speak to anyone else or escalate an issue if you don’t agree with their answer. Just recently they apparently made a mistake with the cost of a pack and basically stole the money from the players that bought it. The PvP player element is also basic in the extreme requiring nothing more than a large disposable income. It is not at all interactive or requiring skill or intelligence. ✓ Eh…So I started out really liking this game. Most especially the ant life part of it. I liked seeing the different ants and insects. And creating an ant hill is fun. BUT if you don’t live on this game, drop money, and keep shields up, you will endure endless attacks and lose hard earned resources. Also if you’re part of a peaceful Alliance you can’t attack others or try to bring back more resources based on their own rules. But I refuse to spend money on a game where my resources could vanish due to some yahoo person coming in and wiping me out. Alliances are trying to help out and defend but communicating with your group is really hard. There’s no notifications to assist for help, leaving members unaware they are being ransacked. The chatting options are super lame. End of the day I have to work and have a real life. And there are 6 different types of resources you have to gather. Which is so bull. Each time you send your troops out to hunt animals to get the resources, it takes 3-5minutes per way, that’s 6-10 minutes round trip and you will get 100k of a particular resource. But you need 1.5 million of it. That’s 15times you have to repeat this. And your upgrade needs 5 different kinds of resource. So you have to sit there and wait for your slow ants to crawl each time. Trust me, you will definitely rage quit after a couple weeks, don’t waste your time. Or you can spend money and do none of the above. I guess that’s the whole point of the game. It either sends me 9 notifications all at once for one thing being completed and when listening to anything 9 notifications one and the other for one thing, and then send those same 9 AGAIN even after I’ve taken care of it. Of course even if you do have notifications on it will not notify you of anything important such as when your being invaded or scouted. Was just hit not an hour ago and received nothing. The resources gathering is off, I had max water without ever actually trying while it was almost impossible to keep other resources despite those other resources being so much more abundant. I love the design, the ants and even though I’m super tired of rok it was different enough to keep me interested. I will say though that the light contract us wildly overpriced and I don’t recommend it. Then the game and it’s violation of its own rules just wore me down… and down… and down. ✓ Scamming money on packs.I was into this game until i purchased a gift pack, to be informed the gift pack wasn’t actually meant to have those things in and actually I’m getting another gift pack which was substandard. They still took my money, admitted they had released the wrong gift pack but still changed it after the monetary exchange. I was tricked into purchasing something by these developers. The customer service is almost at a standstill it took multiple days to get a simple request done for my account. All these people care about is your money. I’ve spent over $200 on this game over the course of a few months and I still get ads and pop-ups in my face every time I login. I’ve been playing the game for months I know what the packs are I don’t need to have that crap shoved in my face every day. Also if you want to play a PVE experience go play something else. They claim that the cultivator class is more of a gatherer and not a fighting class where you play PVP. If you play a cultivator or a Hearder class you’re just gonna get farmed by people who put money into the game. People regularly on earlier servers will go make new accounts just to bully new players. There are zero systems in place to stop new players from getting bullied except for your typical shields. ✓ Started out better than it endedI'll keep this short. When I first started consuming time with this game, it did what it was supposed to. I upgraded my stuff, ants got stronger, upgraded more stuff, got new buildings. The game was time consuming and fairly interesting. Then out of nowhere I started getting attacked 3-4 times every few hours for literally MILLIONS of my resources I worked for weeks to build. That's where all my enjoyment with this game went out the window. I don't want a game where I'm pretty much paying a 80% resource tax to other players. What's fun about making a hundred thousand just to turn around and lose 2 million? NOTHING! (3 Stars for the beginning grind) (1 star if it wasn't for the fun/safe start).. ✓ Great visuals, but game is too complexThe graphics look good, other than some of the ant animation, because there are only 8 angles animated for the ants, making the movement look choppy at times. On a good note the spring animations, for example, look amazing and match the rest of the graphics. I also think this game would be so much more fun if there were less mechanics to the game. A simpler version of this game would be much more enjoyable for players, and it would make the tutorial simpler and make the game overall easier to understand. ✓ Terrible gameRoutinely had issues with things like shield durations which can be a huge problem if your shield expires hours early and somebody decides to wipe out your next. Another Huge issue is How this clearly Chinese company chooses to Censor your Avatar. Now I personally do not care what somebody uses as an avatar and in this game people got by with enormous cleavage pot smoking no biggie. So I paid for for a package that allowed me to change my avatar picture. I downloaded a simple picture of me from my torso up in my dress blues no weapons no slogans just me in front of an American Flag and the flag of the USMC. I was notified the next day that this simple picture was offensive in some way. Secondly that I Would not be able to upload anymore avatars until directed by them. I paid actual money to do this and find this level of Censorship ridiculous and hope fellow servicemen will take note before downloading a clear tool of the Chinese Government. I keep getting attacked by people now I know you might be thinking it’s not the games fault and half of it isn’t but the attacks make the game unplayable because they take your resources away. ✓ Ornament updateIf it hadn’t been for the update that just came out today this game would of gotten 4 stars. But now all the ornaments I’ve been saving up and collecting, the hours I spent moving the buildings in my base around so I can add all my decorations in the way I wanted them was all for nothing since this update removed all of them from my anthill. And now I can’t place even half of them down without spending real money in order to buy the fragments to upgrade the new building. This games becoming more and more of a money pit with each update. ✓ P2W, Racist servers, and egotistical server adminsMigrated from one server that began to have higher p2w alliances controlling, unfortunately landed in a new server that was a different language all together, translation is terrible for many words and if you don’t spend money you will quickly be lost then losing interest as your ant hill will be hit over and over by the higher lvl 25 ant hills… went to zone chat trying to find peace, all I got was bullying abuse and racist remarks then when I began to talk back to some I was told that one of the female profiles was actually an admin/ Moderator on the server and that she would have my account banned for speaking out. I’ve been contacted by fairy support and my account has been muted while the alliance that bullied and kept hitting my hill all still play on with no repercussions….. stay away from spending your money and I don’t suggest downloading the game save your frustrations….. ✓ Mostly decent strategy game.Good game, and it has a lot of potential. There’s a few problems that could be worked on - there are far too many servers and not enough players in each. This means you end up with 5-6 alliances controlling each, and nobody wants to attack their own server because of Server V Server. Server V Server has also become an issue. It doesn’t matter how much work you put in each day, how many points your server gets. 10 minutes before cut off, it all depends who has the biggest wallet. EVERY DAY offers points for buying diamonds, and it’s a complete killer. Nobody joining in SvS because of diamond buying and nobody attacking their own server. ✓ FraudulentWhen I first started playing this game I purchased a pack with my debit card and it clearly wasn’t secure because my card information was stolen and $100s of packs were purchased (the pack prices matched the purchases). I contacted the Ants team and they told me tough luck. I stopped spending but decided to give the game another chance. Now, 2 years later, they posted a pack for $5 and I bought it. Hours later they realized the pack price was wrong so they removed the items from my account, gave me a negative balance for some items, and told me the negative will remain until I collect the correct amount of items to bring my account back to zero. ✓ Ants Game Big LetdownThis game started great. Support and terrible refund policies tank it. I had an IOS billing error due to a bad connection during a purchase in my first week. I requested a refund through Apple, not thinking anything about it - IOS - should be an Apple issue. A few days later I received a letter in game from support saying that they were going to lock my account in 3 days due to a “malicious” refund. I explained that I purchased a package that is only available once per day and the purchase errored out. I then completed the purchase on a better connection. I received no response. I continued to make purchases thinking that I would hear back if there were additional supporting documentation needed. Instead I woke up to my account being blocked for literally 20 years. After about 15 hours I finally got a response from support which is now telling me that they will only release my account if I repay the refund. They are losing a customer over a valid $5 refund because they didn’t want it reported to Apple. I’d rate lower than 1 star if I could because of the wasted 2 weeks and the friendships I made in that time that now are lost with them having no idea why. ✓ After 3 yrs in ROKI left ROK because it became Tinder and a real life catfishing spot and I did not have the time needed to play seriously. This game is too compacted for me. For a start I am not a fan of the dark background it strains the eyes big time. I got raided now twice and there is nothing I can do about it. Luckily I have not spent any money on this game.
