Rocksmith+ Fast Music Learning for Positive User Reviews

Very goodI was disappointed with all the chord charts and little else but that has improved a lot since the initial release. Sure, we are missing many of our favourites from RS 2014 but I’m now finding the selection to be pretty good. It is now “just different”. Adding piano is awesome. Some good tunes in there even though it is new. The sheet music option is great but I want it to show mistakes. At the moment it is pretty bare bones. I’d now give it 5 stars but it has been pretty unreliable lately. Hopefully todays update will help..Version: 2.0.1

Been playing Rocksmith for 10 years. Love it!Just picked up this new Rocksmith and learned 2 new songs in a few days!!! Thank you! This method is awesome. I like that it gives the tools to adapt to my speed but also that it increases difficulty on its own as I learn the song. Though it includes classic tabs, I’m a gamer and a visual learner so I progressively got to prefer to follow the screen. The music selection is no bueno right now though. I hesitated to ding it a star, but they have a ton of songs so I’ll be patient. They had less songs before but more of the stuff I know. Please add more songs that I know and want to learn like in the prior games. Fingers crossed..Version: 1.6.1

Great playability on iPad with a midi pianoIt’s amazing how far iPads have come. The ability to have a mouse/keyboard USB (or Bluetooth) connected, external speakers and a MIDI piano. Rocksmith+ is exactly as I’d have hoped, and very impressive on the iPad. A great practice and learning tool. And when on the go, the ability to have a small MIDI piano and an iPad for practice is game changing..Version: 2.0.0

Close but no cigarI want to start off by saying I’ve been playing guitar for 10 years self taught and loved the rocksmith 2014 game, but this doesn’t come close to how amazing the songs were on it, I’m just disappointed that the OG rocksmith songs isn’t on here, like trivium, godsmack, a day to remember, etc, for a new player this is amazing, great way to learn guitar but the choice of metal and rock songs is bland, I really hope to see more new era music added like wage war and bad omens, or even Black Sabbath it’s a great great platform, but I’m just once again disappointed with the music we have to chose from, I love rocksmith and always will as it is so much more fun to play rather than read tabs and and play by yourself as to where rocksmith keeps the groove going, rocksmith always made me strive to complete a song I’ve always dreamed of playing and allowed me to work on it note by note but I’ve found things I’ve liked and found things I haven’t but that’s nature of the human beast,I would love to see guitarcade make a comeback and session mode, I hope to see this improve but keep up the good work! For a on the go guitar/ instrument experience this is great!.Version: 2.0.1

New update1- I love this app and have been using it for tabs since conception. It is a great way to pick up the basics of any song quickly. 2- the new update however has caused my mic on my iphone (which I have used since the beginning with no problem) to not pick up the sound from my bass consistently. Even though the notes are registering, it keeps pausing mid riff to tell me that I took a break. This is frustrating to say the least, as I do not yet have a midi to work through. Without the mic registering the notes, it is impossible to play a full song without getting interrupted and ruining the flow. 3- please make a compatible version for Mac!!.Version: 1.9.1

Great tool for a beginnerAlways wanted to pick up the guitar and finally found the app that I needed. It’s super simple to set up and very engaging. Videos are helpful and you can adjust the level of difficulty which is very useful for a newbie. Songs are fun and diverse. Highly recommend!.Version: 1.6.1

Just what we needed. All in all I have put in well over 1000 hours playing Rocksmith games since the original release of the game in 2011. First, you won’t find a better quality, more engaging, or fun way to learn how to play guitar with software, than Rocksmith. Second, the song choices are getting better with time, and there really is something for everyone at this point. If you enjoy playing guitar, and want to learn songs in a fun, engaging, and progressive manner, invest in the service. It’s worth it. This app is a very welcome addition to the collection of Rocksmith games. If you’re like me and have difficulty playing a repertoire of songs from memory, this is the app that will make playing around the campfire finally accessible, and you have a great backing track if you use a Bluetooth speaker. Literally the only issue I have been having is background noise interfering with the game picking up the guitar from time to time. Thank you to the entire Rocksmith team for all the years of work they’ve put into this game, and for being such an integral part of helping thousands of people learn to play guitar in a non-conventional and highly entertaining way..Version: 1.8.0

Love itBeen playing rocksmith since it’s first inception on my PlayStation for my guitar I have always wanted to try piano and again thanks to rocksmith here I am again .. thank you rocksmith.Version: 2.0.0

Great music learning appApp was easy to load and clearly walked me through set up, which is appreciated since I’m a beginner. Tuning was a breeze. I’ve already played “More Than a Feeling” twice! Look forward to digging into the rest of the song library..Version: 1.4.1

2014 Remastered vs RS+I really like hooking up to the PlayStation 3 or 4 and has more advantages compared to playing RS+ on an iPhone or iPad. Bigger screen, surround sound setup, and easier navigation unless running Apple TV via screen mirroring enabled on Apple device However, disadvantages for the PlayStation systems… is limited amount of tracks to play and requires purchasing song packs or individual songs at $3 a track or $8-20 per pack. Though, I wish RS+ would be integrated with the PlayStation 3 or 4 systems. I would gladly pay the subscription fee, and thank you for reading..Version: 2.0.1

Runs smoothlyIPad Air (5th Gen) runs as smoothly as the PC version. Same interface, all my progress and favorites were there when I logged in on mobile. Very cool implementation..Version: 1.4.1

Veny nice appWow! Amazing app! A must when learning to play guitar! Kudos to the devs! The interface is amazing too.Version: 1.2.5

I love the playing experience but song choice is still limited …I loved the Mac version of Rocksmith 2014 and only got rid of my iMac as Rocksmith+ was ‘imminent’. That wasn’t the case so I had to wait a long time… They have done a great job with the iPad/iOS version but there are a few limitations that I’ve yet to oversome: 1. There is one input in an iPad so you can plug in a realtone cable (with a usb>usb-c adaptor) for electric guitar but you cannot plug in earphones too (which is recommended for the game) 2. If to do that and try wireless headphones (I have Beats Pro) then the latency (time it takes from playing a string to hearing it) is too long to use that way 3. I have a multi input dongle type thing but I cannot sure that either to get combo of cable in and wired earphones out. 4. Song availability: given that Rocksmith+ has been available on other formats for a long time I’d have expected a better selection. Lots of “live versions”, named artists but not their big songs, etc. On a positive note they do seem to have most of the catalogue of my favourite band of all time, The Clash. However, most of the tracks that were core songs or DLC for Rocksmith 2014 seem to be gone now :-( 5. It is subscription only, which if they had better song selection would be fine (for me at least!) If they can improve the song choice then this will be fantastic!.Version: 1.9.1

Great for learning guitar and bassI remember playing rocksmith years ago back when I was first learning guitar, it’s awesome that it’s a mobile app now!.Version: 1.4.1

Most efficient & fun way to learn guitarI’ve been wanting to learn guitar for a while and never ended up paying for a teacher because I thought it was expensive and time consuming. Until I recently found out about Rocksmith+. In my opinion there’s no better way to learn than from playing a game from the comfort of my home. The cheapest, funniest and most efficient way to learn guitar is with Rocksmith+..Version: 1.2.5

Works like a charmI’ve been playing Rocksmith 2014 on bass the past two years on the Mac, and I’ve run Rocksmith+ via Parallels since launch. I can tell you that parallels with realtone cable is only just about playable.. then I found this app this week.. it works really well, very smooth and good graphics, virtually no latency issues with Realtone cable. I do have a usbc multiport adapter by Hubfinder and it also has headphone jack. With a slight tweak of the sound settings +10ms the audio and note timing is spot on..Version: 2.3.0

Thank you!Thank you for listening to my last request and adding Oasis! Could you please add some songs from Sheryl Crow, too?.Version: 2.2.1

What can I say…it’s the best guitar app outThis is good. Really good. Real music and access to all of the music they have. Please add your music tracking app to mobile. That would be icing.Version: 1.4.1

Works for meDownloaded this week, now play on my phone more than my laptop. Yes, some things do get kind of small, but worth it so I can sit down with my acoustic anywhere in the house. Honestly even if the library doesn’t have every song I could ever want yet they still have a lot of fun songs, enough for me to find something I like enough to get motivated and practice..Version: 1.4.1

Love Tabs, Hate SelectionThe addition of showing tabs is way more intuitive for me and makes the experience a lot more enjoyable and easy to digest. However, the song selection is fairly disappointing and lacks a lot, maybe all, of what past games featured..Version: 1.2.5

Really enjoying this for playing bassBeen using this a while and enjoying it overall. Lots of songs across a lot of genres for bass and new ones added pretty regularly. Songs seem accurate and sound good. I definitely improved my playing. A couple of requests if anyone reads these: 1) please add a way to sort the favorite song list for tunings and genres. My list is getting long and things are starting to get hard to find. 2) I use the tab view to play and it would be nice if I could see the lyrics like you can in just the standard view. Thanks and keep up the great work!.Version: 2.3.0

Can I do this? Sure I can! This is my first experience with rocksmith. I’ve always been curious about the experience so I decided I would give it a shot. The interface is beautiful, intuitive, and gets you started quickly. Most importantly, learning guitar is a daunting task, and I felt like it was actually an achievable goal thanks to the basics lessons and the fact you could practice with actual songs which is more motivating to me. My advice, give the trial a shot, and you’ll see if it’s right for you. I definitely enjoyed it myself..Version: 1.3.0

Cool AppLoving the app, however i did run into a snag at first with the noise reduction calibration After it starts, it was stuck in an infinite loop that never succeeded. After reinstalling the app, i made sure to grant premission to my device's mic. Im not sure if that what indeed the issue but now when the noise reduction calibration starts, it can actually complete after a few seconds..Version: 2.0.1

It’s not connecting to my iOS subscription help!I love the app. I’m trying to fix why it won’t let me log in. I have an account and I have the 1 year subscription but after two weeks it kicked me out, I can’t get pass the resubscribe process page even tho I got one. Help!!.Version: 2.0.1
