✓ Pathetic money gougingThis app is in your face immediately for a subscription cost that doesn’t match the schedule stated in the App Store summary. You don’t even get a chance to try the app before they insist on committing to a mandatory 3 day trial before they want $32. Apple needs to clean up the App Store. It seems as if a one or a few companies are colluding and pretending to be multiple developers to flood the store with similar variants of the same app, and they are charging ridiculous prices. Regardless of this, this specific app is over-priced and the developer needs a reality check if they think their pricing is worth it. Personally I’ll go to Walmart later today and buy a decent remote for $19.99 or less that I’ll own after that one time purchase without having to give overseas companies access to my personal data while also getting gouged on a ridiculously expensive ongoing subscription fee for something as simple as a TV remote app that kids in school can write. In fact, maybe I’ll write one in my spare time (been a developer since the 80’s) and just put it on the App Store for free to wipe out all these greedy companies that have lost their way. You used to be able to get an app like this for a one time purchase of $3. Yes… that’s what I’m going to do… I’m going to write one and give it away for free on here just to start cleaning up this stupidity since Apple isn’t doing it..Version: 1.6.4
