✓ SCAMI saw this app on a FB ad that had you scan your face to assess for signs of stress. Kind of gimmicky, but I took the bait. Took the pic, and then was emailed a link to make an account with the app to access my results. It was $1 for a 3 day free trial. What’s a dollar? So I paid the dollar with every intent on cancelling once I looked at my results. The face assessment isn’t even a feature of the app!! What are they doing with my picture?? I feel so uneasy now. After reading all the other reviews about how they don’t cancel your subscription when you request (it will NOT show up in your subscriptions in settings- you have to enter your email, then respond to another email). I went through all the steps and it’s still not cancelled. ✓ Interesting variationI recently cancelled my subscription and took a reading right after. Up until then, all of my readings said I was “zen” or “calm” even when I would be having full blown panic attacks right before the reading. After I cancelled my subscription? It shot up 30% stress level. Paying $7 a week to try it out was cool at first because I don’t have a device that can read HRV —only HR. But now I’m skeptical of the accuracy. Won’t be purchasing again but just a thought about my experience. The exercises/meditation/AI is pretty cool. It’s all in one place. You have to download the app, enter your details, then scroll down to cancel subscription. After that, you are prompted to visit your email address in order to continue with the cancellation process. ✓ Inaccurate readingsDepending on how I positioned my index finger over the camera lens (slight pressure differences can drastically impact readings/results) I received a very wide band of results that, surprise, elevated my stress and anxiety levels. I was in communication with the customer support team for days where I asked the same questions over and over again with no response. Finally they said they would refund and then in another email a few minutes later that they wouldn't refund me. I asked if they could confirm whether they were or not and they didn't tell me. They refunded the one charge that was taken out after they had emailed to say that they had cancelled it. They don't use the name of the app either on the bank statement instead using Reflectioapp. I complained through apple but because they make you subscribe through a web subscription it doesn't show up on your app purchases and not all the charges show up for apple to refund. I highly recommend not buying this app. To top it off, I'm chronically unwell and downloaded the app to help with managing it but was charged money I can't afford. Terrible experience. I’ve contacted apple and I’ve contacted the app owners but haven’t been informed yet as to wether my subscription will auto renew or will be cancelled. Not really very impressed. It’s a bit dodgy when app makers don’t make it easy to cancel a subscription. I’ve been going through a lot of horrible mental health issues lately and got the free trial and didn’t even think about being charged, i must’ve completely forgot about it, i don’t know because my brain hasn’t been completely with it..Version: 4.9.0
✓ Good idea but doesn’t read rightI like this concept but the readings are way off. Keeps saying my pulse rate is 58 when my Apple Watch and the doctors had very different readings. I have a high heartbeat so every time it says the same number I know it’s not right. Also confused on how it reads my energy levels. I find it funny it always says they are high when at different times of the day even at 4am I did it and I know I had no energy then. ✓ Bad start!Just joined did a test, said I was low & suggested I should do four things to de-stress. Start knitting, play with a pet, ride a bike or watch something funny! I took up knitting once, whilst the the group knitted a scarf each, I managed eight loops. Before you think that’s bad, the teacher made me the first five loops. 2 I don’t have a pet 3 I can’t ride a bike 4 Not likely to be in the mood to watch something funny after failing at the first hurdle with the first three!.Version: 4.8.0
✓ Unable to cancel subscriptionI signed up to this as a trial and then when I tried to cancel - it tells me to login - which it doesn’t allow me to do. When I do finally manage to log in I’m told to access ‘ settings’ to enable cancellation - nowhere is there a ‘settings’ option. When I go to FAQ’s it simply says ‘cancellation. To cancel’ with no further information. This is a rip off and they have taken a payment that I have not authorised. This is a rip off and a scam. Please do not sign up to this app. When I’ve emailed, I’ve simply received generic advice back saying ‘access settings’ and with no user friendly information. ✓ Very unhappySo I was very unhappy with this app so I tried to cancel it the next day after I download it because it really didn’t match any of the things that were going on with me. So I think it’s a joke, and when I went to cancel my subscription. Keep in mind I wanna warn everybody on here that you have to hit cancel your subscription then you have to put your email in there and then you have to cancel subscription again and then you have to wait for an email to be sent to you and then you have like 20 seconds to cancel it from that or they charge your account $20 whether you want it or not. Unfortunately for me when I did it for some reason I didn’t get my first email not to mention I am a single mom of four kids and then I also watch other peoples babies and so I possibly unfortunately pay close attention to it probably to hit the second time to get it to go to my email. and so I got charged the $20 and when I got that charge I made sure to be super aware to make sure that it definitely got canceled!! Let me tell you I have never ever had to do so much to cancel a subscription ever so it is absolutely ridiculous and it is like a trick to where you still get charged if your not completely careful!! ✓ Can't help people if app won't openIt was working for the first few days and it was helpful, providing an outlet and information that can help with my mental health. I bought the subscription as well but it was a waste of money because after a few days the app would not even open. It is disappointing because you think that you get help (I recommend an actual therapist though for those who need it)but you just get frustrated. ✓ DO NOT CLICK!I can’t stress enough do not click this app. I clicked the “free trial” & they signed me up on an ongoing account where money was deducted almost weekly and it was impossible to cancel. I had to email several people and almost look into legal action just to cancel a subscription that I never even agreed to. Once I actually found a way to contact them, they left my email sitting there for days before actually getting back to me. Honestly do not even click this app! I also in regards to the app itself, also very misleading. I would use the art seconds apart and get an extremely different reading/answer.
