The phrase “a unique digital plant in your pocket” leads one to believe they are downloading simulation-type game, but this is definitely a puzzle game. That being said, the game is amazing. ✓ Oh my gosh!🤩🥹This game is amazing. Just by the start of this review, some of y’all reading this might think it’s spam, it’s not. I pre-downloaded this game so I could see what it was all about. Just the first chapter had me HOOKED. It took me only 5 hours to finish the game. By the end of the game, I was in tears, not only because it was over, but, because it has a silent storyline that speaks volumes. In my opinion, Prune isn’t just a game about trees, it’s a game that shows just how we are destroying our planet. Once you finish the game, reread my review, and I guarantee, you’ll agree. Huge props to the developers, because this is one of the best games I’ve played since Apple Arcade came out. While this game looks easy, I’ll tell you first hand, the further you get, the harder the levels get. For a mobile game, it has great physics and great graphics, especially considering I was playing it on my iPhone 11 Pro. It runs like a breeze and will only lag if you’re on less than 10% battery not connected to a charger. I would highly recommend this game, especially if you love puzzles, and even if you don’t, you’ll still get a kick out of this game. A great deal of gratitude go to the team behind this game, because it’s definitely one of a kind, and I could play it 5 times over. Now this review is getting pretty long, so I’m going to wrap it up. ✓ A puzzling story!(TREE PUNS INCLUDED IN THIS REVIEW!) If you haven’t noticed, the levels a a story of how a city grows! First, it’s just wide open area, then it shows that city builders destroy trees (that’s the red dots) then it shows that trees have very little space to grow in a city, then the scaffolding like stuff begins and well, the city has begun, then the pollution starts, and I haven’t gotten further than V (5). I think it’s a great game! It’s puzzling, addictive and very fun! I also have just one suggestion, create your own levels! That wood be really fun! ✓ Why is this game so short? This could’ve been the most epic game I’ve ever played honestly.This is a game that once I started playing I did not want to stop it was one giant meditation. It was really nice and peaceful to watch the plant grow as you prune it I loved the idea of this game it’s great for people who love nature and life and growth. The bad thing about this game is that there is only three or four sections of levels and that’s it. If I paid for this game directly I would’ve been so upset I would’ve asked for a refund because I got less than 24 hours worth of play from it I completed the game in about an hour maybe an hour and a half and I could have played this game endlessly for hundreds of levels! I like the music but not the wind sounds those stress me out. I’m going to have to uninstall it at least four stars because of that, but if they ever decide to add a bunch of levels I will happily pay for it directly instead of just the Apple Arcade + version to support the developers directly. This game has so much potential to grow, get it? and I would love to see hundreds and hundreds of levels and endless gameplay , just like a plant grows forever the game should go forever. there should be an easy way to make a variable version of the levels even like randomize the levels or a random level feature perhaps? ✓ Stunning, Silent StorytellingI don’t usually leave reviews, but I simply need to talk about this game. I’ve never gotten through a game so quickly and been so disappointed that I’d already reached the end, after about an hour of play. Prune has the simple strategy of other puzzle games, but tells a fantastical story behind the scenes. The “protagonist” is nameless but identifiable in our everyday lives. Prune takes you through the story of the trees which once only had to battle other natural conditions to fight for light. You can see the beginnings of industry and the trees’ concern only for survival, and at last their sabotage of and battle against the world that stopped caring for what gives it life to begin with..Version: 1.0.0
✓ AmazingI downloaded this game as it looked like a good play with a nice Japanese theme but I realised throughout the game it became more industrial showing that you must find light in the dark to grow or in this case to grow flowers on your branches, I thought this was just to improve the difficulty as I went on and boy was I wrong. On the second to last level after you complete it the whole reacter explodes (makes more sense if you’ve played it) and shows a desolate land with stumps of dead trees, it then shows a tree that is alive and as you cut down some branches it grows but never finds the light as there is no light, it opened my eyes to how easily everything can disappear in a click. It really projects our world and society today as a whole, it’s made me feel very #greenparty. I feel this game was very well designed and thought about, it’s not only fun but has a big meaning behind. 100% would play if u either are willing to spend £5 or have Apple Arcade (I had Apple Arcade)..Version: 1.0.0
