✓ Great app & access; coverage/availability increasingThis version of the bikes is different than the last, but it’s far easier to access. You can use the app or link your metro card. It’s been out like a month and they’ve added a ton of stations in that time. ✓ ECOBICI is awesome!Really enjoyed using this app while in CDMX! It was a great way to get around and see the city thanks to the addition of so many amazing bike lanes. The app could use some additional improvements with in-app navigation on bike lanes. It was most effective to use Google Maps or Apple Maps instead of the app to navigate thanks to their play by play directions. Me gusta que solo necesitas atorar la bici en la estación para terminar el viaje sin tener q usar el teléfono, también me gusta que desde Google maps puedes ver en tiempo real la ruta y las estaciones cercanas. ✓ Easiest way to rent a bike in CDMXI wanted to rent a bike while in CDMX and couldn’t figure out an easy way to do so. Luckily I passed by one of the ECOBICI docks. I used the QR code on the bike to download the app, filled out my details (worked well even with an American phone number) and was off. Returning the bike is a little confusing. Once you get to the dock you have to shove the bike in so the metal triangle on the front of the bike clicks into place. It took me a few tries - there’s no instructions in the app so if you don’t get it at first just try a couple times. Other than that it was a great way to get around town..Raz_fazVersion: 12.37.4

✓ Essential for CDMXI love these bikes and I use them daily and I can get around the city easily and much quicker than cheaper than an Uber. Yes, sometimes there are issues as others have said but I think this to be expected from such a big network of bikes so throughly used by people. As long as you take care while docking and make sure the bike is returned (wait for confirmation) you should be good 99% of the time. I had one time where I had docked but the bike was still registered out even though it was securely locked in the dock and I only realised a while afterwards. I just had to refresh the app like 10 times and suddenly it recognised the bike was docked, but I got charged for 2 hours. This was also my fault for not taking the time to check the dock had registration the return at the station. So just be careful and make sure the bike is confirmed returned in the app before leaving, even if it beeps OK..James92701Version: 15.33.3
