✓ Immersive Experience and Interesting Storyline!This is the second Netflix game I have tried and it did not disappoint. I was itching to find out what happens next. I think it took me about 6-7 hours in two sittings to finish the game. I think everyone should play it, 10/10 recommended. There’s a few tiny things that could be improved. For example, it was a bit difficult to manoeuvre with the control if I was trying to slide my finger on the screen. I had to move my finger in front of Alex which in turn made it difficult to see where I’m going. Also, the map was kind of hard to follow to begin with as not all routes were shown and sometimes it was in a different angle, so I got confused. And the fact that I couldn’t zoom in on the specific part of map, it simply zoomed in the centre. In the end, I didn’t mind it too much as I loved that I could walk wherever I wanted; and the zooming caused a slight nuisance. Other than some small things these didn’t hinder the game’s experience. The mysterious and creepy atmosphere was captured really well. I loved that in the end the conversations have impacted my relationship with the characters. I really enjoyed using the radio! At pretty much every new location I searched all the channels and listened to everything whether it was music or old recordings. I wish there were hidden things I could have done by listening to the recordings. Altogether, if you’re looking for an interesting story to play definitely give this a go. ✓ I can’t wait to play the sequel!!!It’s been a while since I thoroughly enjoyed a horror game. Though, this was more eerie than actually scary, but playing this alone in my pitch black room at 2am in the morning, headphones on really helped with the creepiness factor. I never planned on okaying this anytime soon since I’m a broke college student and you’d have to pay for this on steam, but I’m just gonna say. I’m glad I’m on my parents family plan because otherwise I would have never been able to experience this masterpiece. The story was beautifully structured, I love games where your decisions greatly affect the outcome, and I’ve played through this twice, and I was still enraptured. Dialogue changes on your second play though enough that you don’t really get tired of it (I played a second time the moment I completed my first play through). I loved the characters, though some felt harder to navigate around, but that just makes it more realistic. I did have some issues with how the MC sometimes stops moving when I try to go a certain place, but it normally either gets fixed if I just kind of swipe my fingers around the screen (sometimes angrily) or if I just restart the game. I’m still giving a five star though because it was few and far between for me, and I still really loved the game itself. ✓ Best gameI really enjoyed this game, you can check out different outcome, it’s really fun. You can restart the story many time by clearing your previous one or keeping the timeline your in. One small thing, when we climb down rocks or mountains the character sometimes get stuck. Other than that great story, captivating, I played all weekend trying different outcomes. If there could have a follow up story or more outcome possible it would be wonderful. I would play if you created a OXENFREE 2 with different characters or same kind of game but different story. The animation and art style are utterly gorgeous and I got chills just from the art multiple times. The amount of detail put into the game is incredible. Like they’ll make references to previous conversations and there are so many different options for dialogue and it all affects the story and how others see you. Someone said that you spend too much time walking but I don’t think so because you have very interesting conversations with the other characters while you’re walking and even then you don’t walk around meaninglessly. Very minor spoiler but when you finish the game it shows you what percentage of players had the same outcomes with other characters and there are so many different outcomes which is so cool and I really wanna see how I can get these different outcomes. I also love how many different ways you can end the game and how it makes you feel like your choices are endless. Anyway first game had me build this relationship with the characters and when the end eventually came, I felt the emotions of finally escaping the night. I also loved how this game talks of heavy topics such as loosing a loved one and suicide. Exploring the trauma the characters went through and are going through brought them more to life. ✓ Love it! However…I’m a HUGE fan of this game, I have it downloaded on my Play Station, my phone, and my laptop and I’ve played it multiple times over the years. I downloaded this version to support Night School Studios in their new Netflix launch and for the most part everything is just the same! But there were moments, namely in “flashback” sections and then a section right before the end where my screen just went completely white except for the characters or whatever a flashlight beam shone on. I loved the use of the radio, in the future, you could potentially include various stations akin to an EMF, which allegedly allows spirits to speak through it. Might add to the creepiness factor. Ghosts and WW2 references I loved it putting the pieces of this town story together was amazing to say the least!
