✓ Interesting title hereThis version of DBD is awesome. It’s just like the PC/Console versions but now mobile. There are only a few issues thus far. 1) no known controller support, I will test it later, but I don’t see settings for that option. I suppose this definitely levels the field on fairness, though. 2) it keeps saying there’s an issue connecting to a lobby and after waiting over a minute each time, that’s a little frustrating. For many this could be game breaking, so this needs to be addressed ASAP. 3) It has a gacha system, which doesn’t truly effect gameplay at all, and they at least admit it straight to your face that’s it’s gacha because it says so in the title. Everything else seems to be unlocked like normal and fair, but these systems are dumb. It’s not even like other gacha systems where if you spend enough you unlock the items, this one you get 6 cards, and you can only choose 3 of them before they’re shuffled again. Edit: dropped it to three stars. Honestly it’s pretty laggy. Sometimes it’s great and runs smooth, but sometimes it is pretty awful. I play on an 2022 iPad Pro, so it’s got plenty of power to run the game smoothly. It’s the worst when you’re a killed and it’s already difficult to smack people using a touch screen, and frame drops just make the experience extremely frustrating. ✓ Lagging at low graphicsThis game has no optimization at all, at low graphics when you walking or running the game run smooth but the moment there is a quick moment the game stuck for 1-2 seconds and than starts running again, literally you get hit by killer if you get lagged and there is nothing you can do about it. ✓ A fun but frustrating gameIt's a simple concept but can be complex. 4 vs 1, sounds unfair right? Not quite. Every advantage and benefit of the doubt on a hit is typically given to the "killer". It eases you into when you first start. You will think your playing with all real people, more than likely it's not. I've wasted time playing this game for years and would only consider myself "experienced" not great. I can tell you I preferred the old version which offered more simplicity, functionality, fairness, and better playability. It can be a fun game at times, but mainly frustrating. I will say the new version has some additions that were great, however, the overall playability has went down. On every update they fix one thing but mess up three more. If you play as a survivor you will lose at least 60 percent of the time. Play "killer"and you will eventually win more often and rank up faster. Obviously it's a game catered to that side of the game.... no matter how much they make it seem even. I appreciate that it's free, I really do, the new version is more about the money side of the game. Crashes, lag, glitches, large hit boxes, ghost hits, etc.. You name it, I've seen it all. ✓ HorribleI only downloaded this game because I would see streamers playing on but I am trying SO HARD to like this game on mobile! First of all expect every game to have a killer that’s going to camp while you’re on the hook or tunnel you because you’re already injured. Literally every game, and they won’t do anything about it killers that camp and tunnel. The hot box is so broken and OP, the killers can hit you even after you drop a pallet and stun them, they’ll still be able to hit you even though they’re like 10 feet away because like I said it’s so broken! The matches are so laggy. Killers are overpowered compared to survivors even after you add perks like sprint burst the killers are still so fast and will always catch up to you! The killers are so much at an advantage compared to survivors with the speed and broken hit box. Might I add the maps are SMALL as heck which makes it so much easier for killer also. ✓ New UpdateDead by Daylight is my favorite game. And the mobile version is the weakest version of this game, although it is still one of the best mobile games. But with the new game update, several characters have been deleted and a map has also been deleted. I don't know if the game agents are going to return them or not, but unfortunately, not only the new character was not included in this version of the game, but also a map and several characters were removed. Please pay more attention to the mobile version of this game. I know that it is logical that the PS and PC versions of this game are better, but the huge difference between the mobile version and the other versions is a bit annoying. ✓ All my stuff was lostI had a lot of stuff in the last dbd mobile and now it’s gone I spent a lot of money and now it’s gone. I read the teachable perks on the characters and all said that you may unlock at certain levels. It’s not giving me a definitive answer to as if I will definitely unlock those teachable perks so that I can combine them with my favorite characters. I think bring the blood web from console version so that I can choose what perks I want would have been a awesome power move. But if you can’t do anything like that then at least make the game so that when you max out a character you can equip those teachable perks with other characters. If you don’t do this this game ain’t going to fly. I have already lost a lot of money because of the new version that can out the least that can be done is to give out the choice of making combos with teachable perks. ✓ New Update is HorribleThis recent update had taken all balance out of the game. This game is extremely killer sided now and almost impossible for survivors to even play. DBD devs have a history of making the game killer sided and it was a sigh of relief to finally have some balance the past few months in this game. Now with this update, killers are being spoon-fed 4k’s again because all they do is complain. It’s so annoying not being able to have fun on a game you’ve spent countless hours and money on. All of these new changes need to be erased and go back to how it was, the game is no longer balanced at all and killers, yet again, don’t even have to try to get a 4k. Survivors are lucky if they can complete 2 gens in the time the killer has already hooked everyone. Please fix this as many people just as I have spent hundreds of dollars on this game and don’t want to watch that go down the drain just because killers cry if they can’t get a 4k every game. ✓ DBD mobile veteran but wasted moneyI played the old Dead By Daylight Mobile and I loved what I saw for the new version of it. I played this new version 2 days after it came out and it was a huge improvement compared to the old version. However, most of the characters and cosmetics I paid for with real money were missing and were replaced with Auric Cells and Iridescent Shards. Will you give back the missing characters and cosmetics which people purchased once its released back into this game? I also bought Steve and Nancy, as well as their cosmetics before they went off-sale in the game’s store. Most platforms of DBD allowed the people who bought the Stranger Things Characters to keep them and their purchased cosmetics. Will you give people back their Stranger Things Characters and player owned cosmetics if they had purchased them before they went off-sale? ✓ Seriously?Im so mad about the new feature they added to dbd. I had purchased the character tickets to level up the characters I wanted so I can have their teachable perks. I come back to update the game and all my perks are gone and now the game is telling me I have relevel all the characters again and prestige them to get their perks. Are you kidding me? So all that money I had spent on those tickets and the time I spent leveling those characters to 50 was pointless? And then on top of that. When you use a ticket on a character you cant even level it up with the leveling cards. Wow way to mess with all the players who previously purchased tickets and grinded iridescent shards to level up characters. All to have to re level them again and prestige them. 🤦🏾♂️. Fortunately, it has a bot system in place to 'take over' while you try to reconnect/reload the game at which point it will either (GUARANTEED) a) Offer to reconnect to current game which after a delay will allow you to pick up where the bot(s) left off - which will be offered 100% of the time in a game which was boring af, you done crap in, or your team were crap, and b) 100% NOT OFFER AT ALL to rejoin the game where you done particularly well, e.g. about to hook last survivor in a 32k 4kill game as killer, or about to see the exit gate open for your escape as survivor. Not even exaggerating. This this crap please asap, and while at it separate continents when connecting with other players - in EU I do not want to be paired with azn killers and survivors again, and again. Also, remember DH Exhausted on ground from main game? Yep, that's a thing here too. None of these issues were a thing on the BHVR version of the game (amazingly), it should be noted. ✓ 🥲I’ve played dbdm for so long. Pre much played it since the original version came out. With this new update I understand there will obviously be bugs but all the mechanics of the game so much more difficult to grasp. The game is laggy and buggy on my end it makes me not want to play anymore lol. Killers have an insane amount of range & I’m going to assume it’s lag because they hit me from like 10m away even tho I have good ping (30-40ms). ✓ Needs more improvement, with a help centre.I downloaded dead by daylight Mobile, as I play this game a lot on my PS4 and I would like it more when out and about, as it’s a very entertaining game. But sadly I and very disappointed with this, I can’t even load up to play the tutorial for the Survivor and killer cos it keeps disconnecting every single time I try, and I get right back to the beginning of the opening storyline to go right back to when I started for the tutorial trial. I haven’t even got into the actual game yet sadly. And no it’s not my internet connection either it’s 100 percent perfect. ✓ This new version was a letdownWe waited nearly a year for an update and when this new version finally released I couldn’t help but to feel disappointed. Half of the roster is missing, lack of maps (with most of the jungle gyms containing double pallets), terrible lag from both sides killer and survivor (as a result of making the servers global and not regional), with the perk system still being glitched, meaning you only unlock general perks and perks only belonging to the character you’re playing with, making you unable to use any other teachable you’ve already unlocked. In conclusion, all the issues mentioned above have made my experience playing this game absolutely miserable and the fact that most of these issues won’t be addressed any time soon because the devs are only focusing on cosmetics is what’s going to end up driving people away from the game. The fact that we waited a whole year for an update just to get a beta version of the game is what baffles my mind; meanwhile, the Asian version is getting major changes, we have to wait another year to catch up to them, which I’m not willing to wait. I’ve been playing ever since the game on mobile released, this version so far has been really lagging and have lots of bugs, you can’t vault the window and pallet without getting hit, plus killer can hit you from 2 meters away, I have 40ms-70ms and that’s considered really good, but it doesn’t help with the lag. And another thing, bots are extremely annoying, you basically get at least 2-3 bots in your games which makes it harder to win as survivors, I’ll tell you something now, I’d rather wait 10 mins and play with actual players than wait 1 min and play with a bunch of bots. ✓ Rip-Off, laggy, so out of date.The game was a pretty popular when the first big update came out. That’s alright, the Entity’s Treasure is a total rip-off. I don’t understand why they can’t just sell the skins without me spending money out of pocket to get repeated head pieces or clothing and never the actual skin I want. Dead By Daylight on PC and other platforms simply sold the Teddy Bear Trapper skin with a unique mori and voice lines on the store without me playing a stupid puzzle game. I can tell you’re screaming for money, aren’t we all… Ever since the new update my game has constant freezing and lag and then I’m dead. I have been kicked from matches out of the blue to my home screen. It is not my internet because in other platforms my game works just fine. ✓ Needs a lot of improvementIssues need to addressed: - killers ranked queue is extremely long 5 min plus. - as survivors pallet stun bugged making killers to still hit even after being stunned. - generally repairs of generators are extremely fast overall game pace needs to tone down. - needs more optimisation causing iPhones 14 pro max to heat up very quickly after 15 min of gameplay. ( on medium to high settings ) - stun from locked heads as survivor is broken making killers to grab the target instead stunning. - doing 360 on mobile is bugged. - the survivors ranks after 4 gets extremely difficult making impossible to get above 4 lvl. ✓ Progress and money wastedBro, I haven’t played DBD in ages. Since the update, everything I bought and had are wiped out. I spent like 30$ on the game on auric cells, I grinded for ages getting Moris and hatch keys. What a huge let down that the over a whole year of progress, suddenly just all disappear in an update. It was balanced and fair, now all you get is camping and targeting killers, also killers are way to overpowered and very speedy. Lit every match as survivor it’s lit just like all the other matches you have played. Also when I first played the rereleased version of this game, it was alr but progressively got worse because of those reasons. Also idk if the devs are even trying on this game because everyone has been asking for more characters and maps, but each update all we get is a graphics update or a cosmetic update which s honestly starting to get annoying now. And tbh lit the company they merged with is a company that owns identity V and lit I think that’s why the quality looks so cartoony. Tbh wish the devs could honestly listen to their community because many people are going to leave this game if they don’t. ✓ Fun game, but you lose your data/progressThis is a fun game, but unfortunately I and several other players I know have lost all of the progress and characters that we earned playing the original BE version. The migration support is so complex and broken it’s impossible to look up your old cloud ID and even submit a request ticket so I’m screwed. Definitely makes one think twice before spending money on a game. I think they worry more about squeezing every dime out of us than just encouraging us to play more and migrate our data. The game itself is fun, but it can be frustrating against players (killers) that face camp and tunnel. Update: 3 more tries to get some kind of consideration and no luck. It’s been months and I’m less than halfway to my former progress. I still can’t use two of my killers unless I buy them with cash. It’s a shame because the game is pretty fun. I’d even be happy to pay because the gameplay deserves it, but they’ve treated me with utter disregard I would be rewarding them for terrible customer support and I refuse to do that. ✓ Terrible experienceIt’s a pretty common opinion that this recent update was a huge let down. For starters, it’s even more glitchy and buggy now than it was before, not to mention the design quality which overall has also declined. But my main reason for this rating/review is for the content they cut from the mobile version of the game. I spent real money a while back on this app for characters and skins that were removed by this most recent update. Like many others, I also lost my old account altogether, which meant losing any excess auric cells I was saving, also costing money. I reached out to Apple about a refund who ultimately told me that because of the time in which I made those purchases, it fell out of their policy for a refund and that it was up the the developers to make it right. I have heard and read many times before that Dead by Daylight’s developer team were hard to reach, but after searching and finding no scheduled plans of returning my lost content within the game, I reached out to them anyway regarding my issue and, about a week later, received a superficial email with a broken link on where to go to reach the right party to help. It’s clear to me that they can’t be bothered to right any of their wrongs for their supporters and that, as of right now, they have no plans of helping me. ✓ Ok but has potentialI enjoy DBD, and when I heard the mobile port was being re-released, I was very excited. I even pre registered. However, while the gameplay is fun there is a lot that makes zero sense. First of all, this game still has older, broken versions of perks like Dead Hard. It is not up to date, which is to be expected, I don’t expect it to. But the lack of controller support really kills this game for me. Controller support would make it an easy 5/5. Every other mobile port has it except this one. PUBG Mobile, CODM, Fortnite Mobile, etc. But this game doesn’t have it, and the developers refuse to add it. I could not tell you why, it seems they’ve already given up on this game and it just re-released less than two weeks ago. Touch controls for killer are horrific, I mean you can’t even change directions while lunging, it is unreal. ✓ Pros and consThe latest updates brought about many bugs and overall not so fun experiences. Not only that, I had an older account which had some skins and even the no longer playable Pyramid Head and that account is lost with all the skins and killers I already had. I had to make a new account and start from scratch. The more recent bugs are quite clear and honestly the game can be lackluster as some game play can be very slow and laggy. I do recommend this for players who are just starting as it gets you a game sense of how the game is working. ✓ Cant even load a matchThe game seems good at first, you play through the tutorials shop for perks etc, then you go to load a match and oh guess what you cant even get into a match because each time one goes to start you get a connection error that chucks you out the match and puts you back to the matching screen. I’m on an iPhone 14 Plus with very good connection so it really shouldn’t be an issue. ✓ Not the “Great New Version” I was expectingThe original version of Dbd Mobile was really close to the pc version, and when characters were released you could by them in the store, now you have to gamble for them, paying upwards to $50(5,000-ish auric cells) to get something that would cost 500 auric cells to get in the original version. Gameplay itself was overall pretty fair with good hit boxes, and a fair balance between killers and survivors. Now, it is more killer sided with horribly buggy hit boxes. On top of this, several characters and maps were removed from this version, including Mikaela Reid, Elodie Rakoto, all Silent Hill characters, Pinhead, All Stranger Things Characters, and all indoor maps. Players were given small compensation for the removal of these characters and were likely removed so they can paywall these characters behind this “Gacha” mechanic. In the end, the only improvement that was made was the graphics. Everything else was horribly ruined. The game has lost its more serious and mature tone and now matches more with the “silly” tones of IDV. I feel as if Netease ruined what Behavior created..Version: 1.7086.7086

✓ Another example of if it ain’t broke, don’t fix itThe newest update was truly a mistake. Yes, visually it’s more defined. But it didn’t need to be. It’s supposed to be a horror chase game. ✓ Spaghetti CodingThis new version is honestly worse than old DBDM, there’s too many bugs that have stayed on the game for far too long. The new developers are clearly oblivious to what they’re doing, they’ve essentially run this game to the ground. There’s now no Elodie, Mikaela, silent hill characters, & basically only 3 maps now. I don’t know if they plan to bring them back but I hope they do. The gameplay is okay at times but the screen is honestly so crowded, most of the time you get lag spikes out of nowhere & even if the killer is also lagging, it is still killer sided & they will win, its worse than the 60/40 ratio that regular DBD is because of how buggy this version of the game is. It’s very hard to enjoy the mobile version of the game for so many reasons but i hope they fix these things sometime in the near future. However, there are a few problems with the game. 1) The loading time required to enter one game. The first loading is to connect the game to other players and sometimes it kicks me out as well. Another loading is after everyone ready up and it takes forever to load into the game to play. 2) Once you vault past a window or a pallet, the killer can still grab me even though I've gone through the vault animation?? ✓ DBD MOBILE veteranThis game used to be so fun. I had every killer and spent a bit on survivors. The fact that they just restarted everyone’s game to where they had no survivors, killers, or skins they had for both parties, was just the dumbest thing they can do. And don’t get me wrong, it still kinda is but it’s aggravating when I play survivor and there’s literal BOTS on my team instead of real players. They can’t loop, all they do is run around, easily dying. I’m not even playing quick match, this is ranked. So I’m losing my pips all because dead by daylight can’t find me some real players to go against real killers. I’m doing all the work on my own. Meanwhile killers are prestige 3 and have all the perks they want. Dead by daylight needs to fix their bot players because soon enough, no one is going to play this game if it’s not fair for both sides. They shouldn’t have teamed up with net ease personally. They just made the game worse, I just want the DBD team to do things by themselves with their development team. ✓ Fun game, still issuesTired of being places with bots. Finished a round in nearly 5 minutes because all the survivors were bots. The game itself is fun for me, but I just don't like being placed with bots. For example, I was playing as ghost face and I was undetectable. I came up BEHIND a bot fixing a generator (there was no possible way it could've saw me) and it took off running. The killer bots ALWAYS know where you are, so there is very little chance of winning. In the old version, this wasn't an issue for me really. As for custom rounds, I miss where you could choose any perk/offering/add on from any character in the entire game. I play custom rounds with friends a lot and if we are out of a certain offering we don't get to use it at all. I gave a three star rating since I do still enjoy the game, but it can get repetitive and predictable with the bots. (i also miss the executioner).Version: 1.9194.9194
✓ Absolute trashThe game crashes every other match. They stole money because the new “update” deleted all the stuff anyone bought and made you make a brand new account. You can’t email them because the link they send you is a fake/broken link. The killers are way overpowered. You have to pay real money for a lot of the stuff you may want. It doesn’t match you with people around the same level as you, they can be just starting out and have nothing good to give and you’ll have a maxed out killer and nobody can win. ✓ Newest update blowsLove the game but since this newest update I get kicked multiple times a game. Just got booted 4 times in one game and after it finished hit with a match making penalty of 51 min. Ridiculous, this game has so much potential but these bugs are making it unplayable. Last the game could do with a better explanation on what the different perks and status affects are. ✓ Needs improvementIt’s a great concept of a game, and exciting to play but there’s a lot of issues with the gameplay. For example, sometimes it’s too unfair as a the survivor to escape the killer, due to the broken hit marks, giving the killer a much better advantage. It’s impossible to loop the killer, and trick the killer because it seems much easier for them to hit yo. The tiles seem to be broke in some areas of gameplay when you try and drop a barricade, or hide behind a tree or corner yourself behind a crate. I think this game needs attention to the survivors.
