It seems the app mostly run on guest work and normally it will just tell you the general family belong to it’s almost never specific and when it is specific it is most definitely wrong. ✓ Only good for basic common mushroomsAnything outside of common mushroom gets pretty much miss labeled, if there is a way to add more than one photo profile to a mushroom id, it’s not obvious. I had the same mushroom analysis 4 times with three different results, all of which ended being incorrect. Do not trust this app for foraging, it’s a liability. At best it can help confirm your own identification, but still recommend against this. The most useful part is the list of species where you can compare their notes on different species and the lookalikes..AshadowdeepVersion: 1.12

I tried several times with multiple mushrooms and it always identified them as "Penny Bun" mushrooms (aka Porcini, King Bolete, etc), a highly prized mushroom. I started doing some research and concluded these are not Penny Buns, but False King Boletes - edible, but a far cry from Penny Buns.
