✓ Much better after recent updatesThe only thing I’d like to see changed is a way to edit the names of linked accessories without unlinking them first. The app is otherwise great with a fast UI written with Apple’s modern SwiftUI SDK..Version: 1.5.0
✓ Working reasonably well nowWe’re a few updates in from when the Dirigra was released and I’m getting much more consistency with the Apple HomeKit and Alexa integration. Devices are pulled through with their names and work as they should. There’s the occasional buggy response but nothing that causes fundamental issues. I’m very interested to see how it pans out with Matter support over this year. Three click types on shortcut buttons is now available in the home smart app, yay! If the development of the Dirigera is as good as it has been for Tradfri this will be an exceptional product in no time. IKEA obviously have a great dev team working hard on their smart products. Good job! I’m looking forward to future updates, I’ll be back to put a 5* review on soon I hope..Version: 1.3.1
✓ Easy setup, privacy consciousThe app is well designed and easy to use. Guided me through the setup of the Dirigera bridge as well as resetting and pairing all my IKEA devices - LED driver, motion sensor, smart plug. Was glad to see that the app doesn’t require an email address for basic functionality (in-home control and HomeKit), and only asks for email verification to connect to Alexa and Google Assistant. The Ikea app itself doesn’t offer out-of-home control (as other reviewers mentioned) but linking it with Apple/Amazon/Google easily provides that functionality. Overall nice, clean, simple, with a few clever puns sprinkled in, exactly what I’d expect from IKEA..Version: 1.5.0
✓ Getting better!No more hub “can’t connect to device” errors. The app is much more user friendly as it doesn’t freak out when trying to adjust a single blind. Feedback: Ability to view ALL BATTERY LEVELS in one easy location. Help: Scene is set to activate for 0730 (confirmed) but the pinned shortcut says 0230. No matter what time scene is set to, shortcut is always showing 5 hours off..Version: 1.4.0

✓ Potentially excellent, currently buggyThe HomeKit integration has some interesting bugs. If you add an IKEA sensor or remote for a blind your HomeKit automations will stop working for Ikea products. Removing gateway from HomeKit and adding it again after removing the remote is the only solution I could find. Having my blinds close and open according to the position of the sun is very cool!.Version: 1.1.0
✓ No problems so far!Was able to sync this with the gateway and add all of my devices without any problems. Also the integration with HomeKit works perfectly. ✓ Surprisingly functionalSurprisingly well functioning, and pairing was a breeze unlike many other apps/systems that do IoT. It's clear some effort and care has been put into QA, and it's much appreciated. As a feature, I'd love to see a preset for lights to do a sunrise mimic. A programmed sweep through the color temperatures in Kelvin that a sunrise goes to. I played with doing this myself but it was tedious, requiring many scenes. Regardless, keep up the good work and the simple & functional products!.Version: 1.22.1
✓ Just one thing missing . . .Works much better than the first app, but need to be able to connect to more than hub (two different homes) without removing one hub and adding another. If you could easily switch between two hubs it would be perfect..Version: 1.14.0
✓ Much better than the old one.Its much easier to sync lights and remotes with the new device and app. sometimes you have to repeat the syncing switch on-off or wait a bit longer, but it works and is easy to manage after..Version: 1.15.0
✓ Works really well!Not sure why many of the previous reviews slate the app as I only got this app and my Dorigera bridge last week, but it seems to me it works impressively reliably and smoothly. There’s not a single thing I don’t like about it and adding accessories to it is so much easier than it was with the previous Trådfri bridge. The HomeKit integration is also flawless and easy (worth mentioning it can only be done during the first 20 minutes the bridge is on, so just restart it if you want to scan the QR code on its back and add it to the Home app. This is however not a limitation of the app, so my 5 stars remain). You can very easily set up scenes in the app as well as change accessories, rooms, move accessories to different rooms. Honestly, if I didn’t use the Home app, I’d be extremely happy to use this one. It doesn’t give you the insights more intricate apps such as the Eve or Controller apps do (e.g. the numerical colour temperature of a light, or hue, or saturation level) but not does the average user need them, so there you go. Well done Ikea Smart team, I’m really impressed!.Version: 1.3.1
✓ Very good app, still needs a bit of workThe app is good and works with Matter and ZigBee devices. However, I just noticed that 3rd party devices do not seem to get recognized for what they really are: I got a zigbee powerbar today and all the outlets show up as lights. Sadly, in the Ikea app, there is no way to tell the hub that they are actually smart outlets. Lucky me, I can change it in my Google Home app..Version: 1.22.1
✓ Remotes stop workingUpdate: ikea exchanged the Dirigera hub and now all is working perfectly! all issues have disappeared! Bad unit I guess. Original review in Case it can help: After resetting the whole system, my latest issue is that remotes seem to fall asleep. I have both Tradfri and Rodret remotes and Inhave to constantly go to the app and edit the remote’s settings and press a button on each one for them to wake up. This is silly. And still nowhere to report issues or get support..Version: 1.20.0
✓ Does not work when I upgraded to iPhone 15 ProApp was working fine with my iPhone 12 Pro for years. When I upgraded to my 15 Pro, it did not offer me an option to sign on. It asked if I would like to set up a new profile. I tried uninstalling the App and reinstalling. Now I cannot get past my Select A Region. I chose United Stated and the app just freezes..Version: 1.19.0

✓ Solid home automationI’ve had IKEA smart home products for years now, and they’re always reliable, if sometimes a bit slow to respond (which cost them a star). They usually come on faster than they turn off, sometimes taking up to 30 seconds to go dark. But this could be the fault of the IKEA hub or the Tradfri light controllers and not this app..Version: 1.23.1
✓ Very easy to useI can only assume there have been updates since the negative reviews - I found it very simple and quick to pair all the items I’ve purchased so far and use scenes which allow you to set schedules. Will adjust this review should I find any bugs or issues further down the line. Couldn’t be happier with the piece of kit so far..Version: 1.8.0
