✓ No Wifi connection and Slow BluetoothThe app doesn't find my wifi network and won’t accept it when I enter it manually. It is really slow to also connect via Bluetooth however, when I go in to control the grill it times out and gives the “timed out message” it is completely useless as an app. My founders series 1200 is great but the app is an embarrassment..ShankasaurasVersion: 1.0

✓ App doesn’t connectI have a black label 1000 series smoker. The smoker works awesome but the app is junk. Will not connect to my iPhone through Bluetooth. I’ve seen several other post about this and you would think they would do something to fix this. ✓ Louisiana owns this AppI’ve been on the phone with LG several times about this app. Their hardware is AWESOME! The app is HORRIBLE!! Never connects to Bluetooth or wi-fi. I’ve interrupted several smokes to shut down & unplug the smoker with hopes it will connect. No, never does. Since Louisiana Grill owns this app now there is NO excuse for the issues. ✓ UselessThis app along with the previous Smoke IT app are useless, the price tag on my smoker wouldn’t have hinted at it being an overpriced manual pellet smoker. Neither app allows for probe temp settings. The only thing new with this app is that it updated my grill firmware. The app itself is EXTREMELY slow, it’s painful. People have mentioned the app for Android is miles ahead of the iOS App Store, they should probably fix that issue. Best you can do with this app is set the desired temperature, set a timer and power it off. It’s pointless in all reality, you have to stare at your phone just as you would stare at the smoker itself, or alerts for temperature probes and not being able to set that temperature is terrible. ✓ Temp probeWhen you set probe temperatures the icon on app is not showing target temperature. Notifications to iPhone are silent no mater what your volume is at. Makes the above issue useless. ✓ First Brisket!!Got through my first brisket, strange the set temp 250 around 2am changed to 180 for an hour before I noticed. Not sure if it’s smoker or app related. Set temp on probe 2 with app no problem. Probe one has to be set on the smoker, weird. Zero notification when you approach, reach, or exceed the set temp. Yes all iPhone settings are turned up and on for the app to notify me. Zero Graphing, zero export data that is a real bummer. Had to order a product made by someone else to achieve that. Hopefully that will be added one day. Probe not a big deal but something to fix. No graphing or data export those are a big deal for me. That’s why 2 stars.Scurvy GooseVersion: 1.0

✓ Cannot update grill.Grill hangs up at 42% every time I try to update. Due to moving house, my grill had been switched off for sometime and I was still using the smoke it app before it was shut down. That worked fine. When restarted grill it would not work so Downloaded the LouisianaGrills app. but before I can use it says I must update the grill. The update fails every time. It goes quite quickly to 42% complete and then stops at 42% and just hangs up. Tried customer support they just said it must be a problem with my Wi-Fi. That makes no sense of the download partly works.
