✓ Great application.. But..You are unable to download any larger recordings to your computer! I have searched for ways to resolve this but from what I can see most people on message boards have hit the same problem. There is a file you can download to your computer which supposedly enables you to transfer them but although I did everything it said it came up with no recordings found on my iPad to transfer yet when I look on my iPad they are there! So annoying as I have many recordings I would like to have on my computer so I can transfer them to disc to share with family and I can't. Its a shame they don't make it like the iPhone version which allows you to transfer recordings into iTunes. I wonder why they don't?Otherwise its a great application which works without crashing more often than not!.Version: 2.5.5

✓ Both the free and .99 version are reliableSounds weird but I wanted to record my sleep to see how and if I snored or possibly had sleep apnea. Recorded in charger for 6-8 hours straight! Picked up birds singing outside my CLOSED window, same with barking dogs, a train and yes snoring.. :( no sleep apnea! Now I believe my wife. ✓ Needs a 15 second rewindI've been very impressed with this app and have used it quite extensively for recording meetings that I am the secretary and scribe for. The major drawback that I have is to rewind and re-listen to something that had already been said during the meeting. It would be agreat asset to me if the developer could add a 15 second rewind to the interface. My problem of not being able to accurately go back without going back too far makes my task of transcribing the meetings too time consuming. With the addition of a 15 second rewind, it would make this app a 5 star app hands down..Version: 3.0.2

✓ Pretty Good!So. I read the negative reviews here - but a positive review on another forum. So - I really needed a memo program after using one on my treo for years. So, this program just works. and it works well - unless you have a quiet voice. I tried it when i was in the living room with my daughter - so i was kinda being quiet so i wouldn't interrupt her. and the playback i could not hear anything. Then later - I tried it in a more realistic setting for me - which is driving my car - and needing to make audio notes. and it works awesome! even with the radio on loud - my voice comes through loud and clear. I wish it worked better for when i talk quiet - then i would give it a five. but for what it is - i think it is very good. 4 stars. PS i haen't tried it using the mic on the headphones - this is just using the mic built into the phone it self. 1st gen iphone..Version: 0
✓ Nice piece of softwareI find the audio quality of this little player to be perfectly acceptable. I mainly use it for recording quick guitar ideas so I don't forget them before I get to my laptop and proper recording software. The user interface is very simple and it is extremely quick to set up and record a new idea. The free desktop software is okay but not great. It betrays its roots as recording software (rather than clip management software) by having a rather clunky interface for selecting and reviewing previously recorded clips. nFinity ought to drop this and build a very simple desktop app that mirrors the interface of the iPhone software. Two other important notes: - you don't *need* the desktop software to get clips off the iPhone (they're saved to WAV files in your Library - presumably as part of the backup process - Spotlight the names of your clips to find them); - the iPhone app does *not* sync directly with iTunes - to do this you either have to use the desktop app, or you have to drag the WAV files onto the iTunes window yourself..Version: 0

✓ Speaker ControlWhen you press the “Speaker” button, the only indication that the speaker has been activated is that the font size becomes slightly bigger. It took me a while to notice the change. ✓ Sooo UsefulI downloaded this app just to see if I would use it. For a few pence, its was worth the risk. From day 1 it was brilliant. I was in store the other day and a magazine had a web address I needed. I just used the recorder to tape it. Also things that you think you will remember, but never do are a thing of the past. ✓ Great app for a voice logTo be honest i really only just use this app to voice log some memories and events. However i find that all voice apps work best in a quiet surrounding, so just voice logging inside your bedroom (where its quiet and no one would find you weird for talking to your ipad) is a great way to use this/all voice recording app. The best thing about this app is that its free. If you really want a good app that captures great quality sound, of course you will have to pay for it. I was half expecting it not to record the furthest voices away but I was surprised that no-one has to direct their voice into the mic. ✓ Solution to file transfer...... is a program called DiskAid. Download it on your PC, and enable apps that do not have file sharing enabled, and you should be able to see QuickVoice under the apps tab, and the sound files under 'documents'.Version: 2.5.5

✓ Free is too cheap!I used this, paid for the Pro version, then reverted back to this. It's what Apple's built in app should of been. To make this near perfect app perfect: add an (optional) badge count of unplayed memos (as I for one need to be reminded that I made a memo to remind me of something); and lose the useless "i" button that take you to the App Store page for the not-so-polished "Pro" version. Do both these things, and nothing more (please cluter this beutifully simple app) and I'd happily pay. (What's wrong with the Pro version? It's slow to load (annoying when you want to record a quick memo) and ... well ... the voice-to-text feature is just too flakey to be of any real value.).Version: 0

Poor quality low volume recordings, promise of free software but requires contacting company by email to which they do not reply, no sync despite the description - again you have to email them to get the software and there is no reply. I waited on the hope things would improve and they have not, hence the bad review. I have found an alternative with much better volume and quality and built in emailing of recorded messages. Also if a file is mistakenly deleted there has to be a fail-safe put in place to retrieve the file; especially since the app will sort the files in a random manner. I placed my iPhone in the centre of our very large kitchen dining table. Upon review, the quality of the audio product (1.5 hours) was reasonable, given the limitations of the environment. I was able to understand the content of the conversation which was 100% intelligible, despite my young children playing a movie very loudly in the adjacent room. The trick is to make certain that in the From heading, you accurately write your own complete e-mail address, and not any other name, such as a nick name or even your correct name. This step is essential, as the app will otherwise generate an invalid e-mail address using your "new name" resulting in the recipient being unable to respond to you. ✓ Great app, but wish rewind was more accurateI think this is a great app, doesn’t use that much memory or battery when recording. I also use it for meetings, and when transcribing them, rewind is not so accurate so I end up listening to the same thing over and over trying to get to the place I want. If you could improve the rewind/fast forward to be more accurate, it’d be a 5-star app. 15-second rewind as another reviewer suggested would be great..Version: 3.0.3
