What is Contact Find? Description of Contact Find 643 chars
This application adds the missing full search to the contacts in your address book. Don't just search for first and last names, but find your contacts by their phone number, area code, emails address, city, street and so on. This includes full text search in the notes field of each contact.
Version 1.1 has several long awaited new features:
- Much faster startup because the contacts only have to be imported once and are cached afterwards
- Faster search
- Search for several keywords. It finds the contacts which contain all of them
- Explicit search for job, department and company field
- Newlines in the notes field are preserved

✓ This app is now even more valuable!Apple has truncated the notes field to just 12 lines in iOS4 instead of the full screen view it has in all previous versions of its firmware. For most business people, who have lots of notes, it is now very difficult to wade through your notes with iOS4. Your app shows a nice full screen view of the notes and makes it easy to read. Thanks so much. I have complained to Apple of how "stupid" is was for them to only show 12 lines of notes, but so far, as of iOS 4.0.2, they have not changed it..Version: 0

✗ 5 star app only used 1 star to gain attention from developersI would love to see an update that stops the needs to even use stock address book in a sense except for adding contacts and syncing to other apple devices and apps. As of now in order to see all contacts you leave the search field empty press search and all the main info pops up except for notes and dates or anniversaries. This could be easily fixed with a view all button that let's you view ALL INFO on every contact. Other than that one flaw this is one of my favorite apps..Version: 1.2.0
✗ Need to be fixedIt is unbelievable that this is the only existing full search application and that Apple doesn't provide one with the iPhone. This program then is welcomed but still is extremelly slow at startup and then it often closes unexpectedly. Piet, many people would pay much more to have an application like this really working, so please be smart and fix it soon!.Version: 0
