✓ LOVE!!Great game! I love Sudoku so this is a great option. Same concept, but using colors. Challenges your brain in a different way. I'm a very visual person so using colors is a very satisfying to me. So glad I found this game!.Version: 1.6.1
✓ Oct. '12 update didn't helpI agree with reviewer Amy Bloch that it was a mistake to make the purple so much like the light blue. The thing that's even worse about this update, though, is the off-by-one error that shoves the squares for the notes out of their boxes to the right. Won't you PLEASE fix this? Please? Beyond this, I love this app. It's a peaceful way to spend minutes, and the range from easy to expert means it can entertain both my 5-year-old friend (especially after she found the All Notes button) and her math genius papa..Version: 1.6
✓ Color Soul.Color sudoku is awesome. I love this app. Unlike other apps, here the graphics are well laid-out and easy on the eyes. No extra bling, whistles or cute fluff to distract. Its elegant and clean. Well done. Working in color seems like a purer right-brain experience. I enjoy direct and indirect solves more because I can visually follow a pattern and see its broader play. The game plays out differently this way. It seems to have more soul, more plot. More satisfaction. The challenge of distinguishing close hues is an interesting feature and seems to depend partially on the brightness setting of your screen. It would be cool if we were able to create our own color palettes (or even pattern/texture palettes). Some of the colors are just too stressfully close to others and many of the color palette options are pointless. Some reviewers feel the skill levels are low (that the hard isn't so hard), but I've found the sudoku arrangements slowly get harder within each category. You just have to keep at them. The "challenge" feature is good for sharing, and I like that I can delete the time score from the message if I send one to a friend. It's not always about speed. To share a game, it helps if the friend has an iPhone. Evidently it's not so available to other devices. Lastly, while the price seems high, it's worth it if you actually play sudoku. There's a future with this app..Version: 1.5

✓ Reviewing color choicesHi, I love this Sudoku game. I wish there were more color palettes to choose from. Color invigorates and changes one’s mood. That’s why I love it. Some of the palettes are pretty when in the menu, but do not work at all when playing the game. Monochromatic palettes in particular are very hard to use because the colors are too like each other. ✓ The Best Sudoku AppThis has got to be the best Sudoku App out there. Easy to use, with literally 600 puzzles on it. Colours instead of numbers add a new twist. I like it better because then I can play by using patterns (choosing colours that contrast enough with each other that I can see at a glance what colours are missing in each row, etc. - without literally having to read all the numbers) I can play expert faster with colours than I can do medium with numbers..Version: 0

✓ Different twist on SudokuI love Sudoku and this version is really different. Using nothing but colors as your challenge brings new life to the game. It would have gotten five stars except for a few things, I would love to see an undo button, and some of the color schemes with the very dark colors, I find nearly impossible as you cannot tell the difference between a filled box and a box that has been filled with that particular dark color. Don't let that statement stop you from purchasing though, because there are plenty of color options to choose from that do not have that dark gray or dark brown color in it. But, let's face it, we mostly use them for the likes of Angry Birds. This app, then, is my Angry Birds; the relatively simple game that ends up dominating my use of the iPhone to the extent that all other vastly more impressive uses are secondary. If you cut open my brain it will almost certainly consist of coloured squares slowly being placed into a grid of 9x9 dark grey spaces. ✓ GoodOverall a very good game. Lots of variety. The only reason I don't give it five stars is that, for a game that's all about color, it has a few shortcomings. The background color on one of the color themes is so close in shade to one of the game colors as to be indistinguishable. And some of the color themes are shades that are so difficult to tell apart. I would love to see some more imaginative color themes. Or- here's asking for the moon- be able to select my own set of colors..Version: 1.6
