✓ EnjoyableAlthough I haven’t played another skee ball app, I think this one is enjoyable. I appreciate the fact that this game highlights a “hole” and you get 5 times the score! This makes playing last longer! I usually play the progressive version so I don’t have to restart as often. I do wish in the classic original version it was easier/quicker to restart/ start a new game..Version: 4.5
✓ What happened to one of my favorite apps?First, I am very glad to see Garry, David, and Bill again... I really like your iPhone apps and they are a lot of fun. I'm from the Atari 2600 era and on so I think this is very "cool" to be playing more games from these guys. Please keep up the great ideas and fun. I also see that I am not alone in having crashes after the latest Arcade Bowling update. Everyone I have shown this app to went and got the full version (they would often say "very COOL!" - heck, I think it actually pushed one friend over the hump to actually BUY an iPhone), but now those of us that upgraded to the latest update are dead in the water. As a software developer/tester for the past 13 years I wonder how a functional failure this obvious got past quality assurance. I'm sure it's being worked on and hopefully something like this won't get out again. I'm going to give this review 4 stars, not because the game is 4 star, but because I think an error like this rates the small demotion from 5. Now if you could work with the Pocket God developers and let those little natives play Arcade Bowling on the island...that would be a coup! =).Version: 0

✓ My addiction for the game hasn't fadedEver since upgrading to the full version (to get progressive mode) I've been addicted to this smart little game. It is WELL worth it from the lite version for the extra mode. Love how the music fades out if you have to stop for a short while. More developers should take a look at that feature. Request: please stop wiping out local high scores and stored login information with each update. I miss seeing that time or two that I really nailed it. Thanks for the removal of the banner ads. ✓ Has a few problems I would like fixedGreat apps...one of my favorite apps...however it bothers me when I put my phone on mute, and the music doesn't turn off. You have to manually turn down the volume. It's a small isue and for gowfun it is, it's very minor and still worth it. It is irritating when u turn ok mute mode..,and u are sitting in the midlle of study hall or the library...and the sound blasts in your ears and u yhink, didn't I just turn the mute switch on???:) please fix it. Also like many other umstable apps, this one dull crashed my phone to the point that l had to hold the sleep and the menu button for six seconds to reset it!!!:( :).Version: 0

✓ This App is GreatI love this app! Its so much fun to play, I've had it for about a year and play it almost every day! This is totally worth 99 cents, don't get the free version thinking its just as good, the free version only has the classic arcade bowling. But this one has progressive, where a hole will light up and if you get it in it gives you 5 times the amount of points. They also give you a goal that you need to reach every level, it lets you get a lot of points, my high score is 7,350!.Version: 0

✓ ~DEVS ~ READ Most realistic Skee Ball on the app store, but lacks value...Get the lite version, see if it isn't the most realistic skee ball action game on the app store. There is another Skee Ball app by freeverse, but this one is more realistic, the ball control is better, the graphics are better. The only thing that put Freeverses version above this one is the ticket earning ability and unlocking different toys and trinkets. I noticed Skyworks is adding Open Feint to some of their other games, They should definitely add it to this game. With possibly adding earning tickets, and being able to unlock a Ton of achievements using Open Feint. This alone would put "Arcade Bowling" back on the HOT List! ~~Note to devs ~~ Only add Open Feint to the paid version. This would be a beneficial reason for people to purchase the full version over the free version. Right now there is no huge reason to pay for the app. Take my advice Skyworks, Send me a royalty check later. :).Version: 0

I am much better at the lite version. 2) We have to quit the app so that we can get around posting scores. Can you add an option to skip score posting? Dont always want to post low scores. ✓ Great game but...This is a very addictive and enjoyable game. I particularly find survival mode the most competitive as I enjoy competing with other players from around the globe. However, what does not make sense are the power ups in the game. The if you max out on the power ups it actually hurts your chances of obtaining a higher score. It does not make much sense to me. Sometimes you need a little fun brainless distraction and don't have much time. Then this app is for you. I'm probably a little bias since I love the real arcade version with the wooden balls. But having said that, I wouldn't enjoy it much if it didn't live up to something close to the real thing. And the probabililty of scoring is the same. What's not to like? ✓ Love this appI bought it a couple months ago and still love it. When I take a break to play a few games this is always one I include. If you like aiming sports this little app will give you a very realistic experience & hours of enjoyment. I think it was called skee ball at the arcades. I loved it as a kid, with my kids when they were young and now love this. I pretty much only play the progressive game. With practice I keep getting better yet it remains challenging enough to keep my interest. I have yet to perfect my ability to get into the 100 point bin but it's coming along. I agree with others that it is slow to load & wish you could more easily/quickly select play again. I also would like a faster signage of the points required in the next level; maybe a quick pop-up rather than a scrolling marquee. But all minor irritants for the sustained pleasure of this game. I love the bonus feature where sometimes a ball landing in the 10 point circle returns to you for a do-over; just like in the real arcade game. Nice touch!.Version: 0

You can put English on the ball by tilting your iPhone. Lots of options, though I just stick to the basic original game. Don't care for the red and green lights that show up on the side. Disturbs the flow of the purple and blue. One thing I do not like is the AD that's in there still! I bought it. I shouldn't have to see an AD! It's at the bottom of the scores page. It's distracting and annoying. Also, it would be nice to be able to continue in the mode you're already in when you click to play again. Instead, now, it takes you to the main screen and have to choose which mode you want to play in. It's a fun game though. Just some minor things changed. I'd like to see a bonus round in black lighting or glow in the dark stuff for a round. That could be in it further in the game. Or not, I don't know..Version: 0
