✓ Not very field friendlyIt’s not the functions, but the user interface that really, really lets it down. It may be fine sat on a comfy sofa running target scenarios, but it’s not really geared to use in the field switching between multiple targets , and ranges. Too slow, clunky, can’t seem to get it to save last settings . So every time you open the app you have to start again. It really needs work in this area. Immediately purchased Strelok after only one day with this.!.Version: 6.3.1

✓ Windage Issues - No Fix. Creator Is A TurncoatWhen this app first came out it was awesome. I loved it. However, about 18 months ago I noticed a glitch with the windage. Any time you change your maximum range your windage values completely change. I leave everything the same, it’s literally only the maximum range. So if you enter 500 yards as your maximum range your windage holdover may be something like 10”. Go back and change the maximum range to something else, let’s say 700, and now your 500 yard windage will say holdover is 15”. The further you go out the worse it changes. How can I trust this for competition, let alone hunting? I emailed the developer about this and they said they had no idea but would fix it. Well, here we are over a year later and still no patch. The straw that broke the camels back was that the original creator, Jonathan Zdziarsk, is an absolute turncoat. He believes AR-style rifles should be banned to the NFA list and has a lot of anti-gun rhetoric on his blog. Until the new owners publicly condemn his actions and prove he is not receiving royalties, I will no longer use or support this app. If that doesn’t bother you and you want to fork out the dough to buy this then go for it. ✓ KakaSave your money, gentlemen! This app is unstable. The weather, for example: you never know what U gonna get, I'm switching from NOAA to Geonames with very little result, numbers pops by themselves and don't match my GPS or Aeroweather app, which takes report from NOAA too. Altitude is always different. Can't obtain location or shows wrong numbers. Temperature jumps from -17c to +20c (what?). U close the app and loose all your entries, even when the SAVE is on. Need to re-enter agane. U choose one amo - it jumps to the other... I can continue forever... What a headache! Save your money, gentlemen, save your money. Sent from Rigel..Version: 0
✓ Sold outNow I’m beginning to understand why my messages to the original developer of the app went unanswered. He sold out to Federal Cartridge, a company whose own ballistic app was little more than a useless marketing ad. I had been begging the original developer to update the cartridge and projectile databases for nearly three years. Check the app update history. This is the first update in 2 years. This has been my go to app for over a decade. The data it’s solver generates is very accurate, provided you give it accurate correct inputs. Remember, garbage in equals garbage out. A very functional and easy to use app, still solid performer. But it has been lacking in some of the more recent projectiles and cartridges. Let’s hope the boys and girls from Anoka don’t F this up badly..Version: 6.6.0
✓ Target - Crashes on +I am disappointed as currently the IPhone 14 Pro, trying to add targets to the app as per usual just crashes the app and closes it. Not sure if it is a technical setting I am missing or not but purchased this app mostly for that feature. Hope to get a fix soon for this and after I would rate this a 4 star app for all the other great features it has..Version: 6.6.0
✓ BallisticsThis seems like a good app so far, but, there is no support for Federal ammunition what-so-ever. I use all sorts, from cheap, to top cost ammo. Would really like to see support for federal and others for .308Win/.223Rem. Will rate higher..Version: 4.2.3

✓ A waste of moneyNot user friendly at all compared to many of the other calculators out there. It is poorly designed and organized. It should be simple. Enter in your rifle data and save it. Enter your ammo data and save that. Then on your main page choose your rifle, choose your ammo, and then enter in station data and distance then press calculate. BUT IT’S NOT!!!! I spent 2 hours of my life that I will never get back, plus $10 to buy the thing hoping for something better than the Shooter Ballistic App. Hell the crap calculators put out by the Ammunition manufactures is better than this. I would rather go back to doing it the old way with pencil, paper and a slide rule, along with DOPE charts. More crap to pack but at least it is there and useable..Version: 6.3.3
✓ Very poor user interfaceThis program has Avery poor user interface. You can load you previous data edit the data but you can not save the changes. I think you have to create a new favorite and start from the beginning. The target analyzer simply does not work. I took a picture of my target but could never enter the size using the ruler it kept disappearing. I use the program OnTarget all the time an it easy to use..Version: 6.3.3
✓ BrokenI used this app for years to track shooting sessions in the “Target” tab and it was great. It would show MOA of groups and other analytics that were really helpful. That feature is now broken, you cannot view existing/add new entries to the “Target” tab without the app crashing. I reached out to federal and they have not responded. Don’t waste your money on this app if the maintainer isn’t going to fix obviously broken issues. I expect more from a paid app..Version: 6.6.0

✓ Required login after years of owning this appCount me in with those other commenters saying they uninstalled this app due to privacy concerns and being upset about paying $20 for an app that after several years of owning it, is now requiring I create a login and give them an email address. No thanks. There is no reason that my personal information should ever be *required*. Sure, make it optional and show people some on-boarding to inform them why they would benefit. As it is, locking out your long term users like me without any warning or visibly justifiable reason is just a sad show of how much you care about your audience and/or your user experience. ✓ Misses the markIn developing a load for my Desert Tech SRS, I fired 25 rounds, measuring velocity with a Lab Radar chrono and inputted that along with a plethora of other information the app required. The scope settings the app specified were off by a mile. I notice this and other ballistic calculators caution that their output is merely a guesstimate, and advise the shooter to confirm by range-testing the load. Now I know why. If you read reviews of the various ballistic apps you will find people complaining about apps crashing, locking up the phone or failing to connect to other Bluetooth devices as they should. My conclusion is that many of these apps are crapware..Version: 6.5.3

✓ App works well but..I like the app and believe it to have a lot of positive attributes and tools to really dial in your rifle. I do how ever believe for the price of the app the company does a poor job on keeping up with all the new factory loads that are coming out. As of today the app was last updated 3 months ago and very little was done to update factory loads. One of the hottest calibers out there is 6.5CM and the selection is slim compared to what you can find on the selves at Cabela’s and Sportsman’s Warehouse. If this part of the app gets an update this is a 5 Star app..Version: 6.3.2

✓ Sorry but that will cost extra even though you have already paid for it!Good app does what I need it to. I would like to use it on my iPad as well but that function to use full screen on iPad is an additional purchase which I’m not prepared to make as I’ve already bought it. Also I would like to use my kestrel and drop but sadly again that is an additional purchase! The idea of coming up with the very best ballistic app out there is greatly let down by their greed for more money off you for updating something you have already paid for..Version: 6.3.3
✓ Trajectory vs hud, windage totally different.I’m not so impressed with it cause trajectory schedule is different than the hud outcome which one can I believe. Elevation I’m not complaining about. It s windage that’s what the problem is about. Wrote them about it. Their response was to send screenshots about it which I did but did not have response from it yet.
