✓ Nice app but incorrectNicely organised. Disappointed that the first two rules I checked are wrong. 1. Grass droppings relief. Relief is not automatically applicable. 2.. Abnormal ground conditions (GUR). "Free relief" suggests compulsory relief. Not so. A player "may" take relief but is not forced to do so unless "play prohibited" Surprising how few experienced GOLFERS are aware of this..Version: 2.41

✓ Rip OffA total waste of money. Do not buy this App. The range of rules are limited and some rules are incorrect. There has never been an up-date since the App was purchased. ✓ Rotation gets on my nervesThe application has a very good 1:1 conversion of the rule book. it's structured nicely and easy to navigate, BUT: from the headline the content the application switches vertical to horizontal, so you constantly flip the device, which is really inconvenient. ✓ Update is not workingFollowing an email conversation with developers, in which I was told the new 2019 Rules are ready, I updated the existing App to v8.0 which includes the option to purchase a licence for 2019. This worked - my money was taken! Guess what 1:The app now has a Version 2019 tab, but all it does is say “buy now” and then a dialog that says “purchase failed - something went wrong” etc. Guess what 2: Two emails from me have gone unanswered. I will pursue a resolution or refund vigorously! Moral: Don’t buy (yet).Version: 8.0
✓ Bad dealThis app. is slow to load and has a really dumb interface the looks like the old DOS MSFT way of organizing. Everything is one choice. then another and then another. Really slow and expensive. Buy a rule book. It is cheaper and easier to use. Totally lame application..Version: 0

✓ Good app butI don't usually buy apps at this price but as a keen golfer thought I would give it a try. The app is good but there are some things that need improving, the app keeps going crashing which is extremely annoying also when you get to a rule with several options the screen automatically scrolls through the options but it doesn't give you enough time to read them, an option to either adjust the time it stays on each screen or scroll manually would improve it.This is ashame as the decriptions and drawings are good. The app asks you to register but when you try to submit it a screen comes up in a foreign language which I cannot read. The price for this app is quite high, if it worked better it may be worth it to some golf nut like me. this could be a five star app but not yet..Version: 0

✓ Don't use to resolve disputes it's incompleteYou don't cover the rules at all. Two examples will suffice. The honour system fist tee. You say honour is by draw but the rules say in the absence of a draw then it shall be decided by lot. Water hazard - relief two club lengths from point ball enters hazard then you stop instead of adding - or a point on the opposite margin. Why don't you have a link to the rule in full and give us the opportunity to search the rules. So far every rule I've looked up has given a partial answer. For £6 it should have been a professional app instead of a game for kids. And that insults children..Version: 0

✓ Misleading AppI purchased this app based upon the video on 2019 Rules from the app owner which marketed it to get the app for 2019 rules. I purchased it in December expecting to get the new rules and the app only covered existing rules. I wrote the Developer to find out when the app will update for 2019. NO RESPONSE! So far very disappointed. UPDATE- Finally heard from App Developer and he reports I will receive 2019 Rules Update very shortly. The app layout is excellent so once it is current it could be a great app. Looking forward to update..Version: 7.0.1
✓ False advertisingWhy would I pay $10 for a rules app that is obsolete in 3 months????? The video clearly said, after watching the 2019 rules, to buy the app for the same information as his booklet. ✓ Not as good as previous editionsHave been a user and supporter of the app for years and paid and updated to the new rules. Not at clear as in the past and also not as easy to find situations or options. Currently not worth the $22 upgrade as the R&A version explains clearer the rules and options. Some rules don’t even have the correct options. Eg the OOB rule isn’t correct. It states you only have 1 option and that is to go back to where you played your last shot from?? ✓ Almost there...I bought this app because I tried cheaper one like it and it was lame. I downloaded this and really like it, it easy to use and actually has a good amount of information. The only problem I have with it is the startup/loading screen. As mentioned, it does take some time to get the app going. Kind of a high ticket price for now, but if they can speed up the loading time, we have a very nice little app. I'd give it 5 stars, but they need to speed it up, I don't have that kind of time on the course to wait for a start up screen. ✓ They lock you out of the application!This used to be a good app. I paid good money for it. Suddenly, they "update" it and lock you out of the app! They want you to send them your details and come up with a special password that you now have to remember, just to get back into the app. Sheesh! I paid good money for this app, but I'd rather delete it now than put up with this sort of rubbish. They have not done this in good faith. Locking you out of the application is never okay unless it is stated during the purchase and you agree to it. To take the app away from you further on down the track turns it into a rip-off. ✓ Charging for Rules Upgrade, really?I too discovered that I now have to pay full price for a rules upgrade. I purchased this app quite some time ago and was fairly happy with it and only assumed they would not be charging for rule upgrades. I was shocked to see they wanted me to basically purchase the app all over again to accompdate the new rules. NOT COOL! I have never been charged for an upgrade from any app before and this will be no exception. I am taking this app off my phone. Really bad decision on the developers part for us that already own the app. Thanks for the non support..Version: 3.0
