Awesome! This may be my favourite game on the whole App Store. Simple risk gameplay with awesome custom maps is a combination that just works so well!.Version: 4.2

20% Battery RemainingI see this message a lot as I become so lost in a game of Conquest my phone is dying! This game gives me everything I miss about the boardgame and gives it to me in a very sleek and efficient package. The maps are fun, even if I choose the world map most often :p This is so worth the $2.99 it is not even funny!!! Buy it, it's a blast and an excellent downtime waster :).Version: 0

Risk - great versionWell done , great variety of maps makes this a great app I'm becomming addicted already! Would be good to be able to name the players and pick skill levels for each computer. Bluetooth or WiFi update version please......Version: 0

Glad I took the RiskTook a risk on this based on the previous reviews, but I'm so glad I did. The CPU can be tough, but I find this adds to the replayability. I think this is the best risk based game available, just really hope to see multiplayer in a future version..Version: 0

Long time user loved last updateI'm not sure what the multi-tasking issue was. I haven't run into a problem running the game on my 4S or iPad 2 so I can not comment on that topic. I can say that the game still keeps me on my toes. The latest update includes 9 new maps (total 50). With up to 7 opponents (including 5 levels of computer opponents), 4 ways to exchange cards for armies, 3 mechanisms to start up, and 5 ways to shift the attacker to defender dice risk - there are huge numbers of variations you can play. The "Greek Island Odyssey" and "Aboriginal Australia" maps are particularly tough. This is many times better than the old game from my youth. The "Galactic Maze has 224 territories and 20 continents. Still, you cannot throw the board at your opponent when you loose. Perhaps he can add that feature in the next upgrade..Version: 3.0

The Ultimate Risk GameI am a big fan of risk and having played other risk style games on the iPhone such as lux I have found this to be the best yet. The control are easy to understand and it's challenging without being too hard- the ai is very good. Buying a risk game need not be risky. Buy it today - you will love it!!!!.Version: 0

Great gameOne of the best in the app store. Have been playing this on occasion for many years. It’s always worked well and gives a large variety of play scenarios to provide different challenges..Version: 5.1.1

Get CanadaGet a map of just Canada and a map of just N.America. Oh ya and it would be cool if you made a mode where you pick map(real world) and a time and start by choosing which country(real) you want to be. Like for ex. be British in the exploration era(year) that would be amazing. I love the game I have had it for more than 1 year.Version: 2.6

A must! This game has to be the best app on my ipod, ive played it for 2 years straight and its still just as enjoyable! I hope there are some new maps coming! Possibly scandinavia and the baltic states would be a good one! Large baltic sea in the middle with lots of countries around it! Ive made my friends get it so the multiplayer is also amazing! And no its not bias.Version: 2.8

Love the game but...MY ARMIES KEEP RANDOMLY DISAPPEARING, I play with max computers on hardest difficulty and it really dampens an attempt to take a continent when 14 armies VANISH. Please fix this, happens almost every game at least once.Version: 5.1.1

GoodGood app. “Easy” AI setting should “easier”..Version: 5.1.1

ConquestI bought Conquest a few years back when Sean was doing it for the Pocket PC and for the PC. I think this is a first rate Risk Clone, and if anything the AI has improved a bit over the older PC versions. The graphics are nice and the iPhone interface works well. The variants and options are good, although this could maybe be improved by finding a way to allow for importing user generated maps as with previous versions (?). I just hope that Sean ports the rest of his games over too..Version: 0

Original risk, but betterIf like me you spent hours playing the original risk on the mega drive, you Will love this. the maps are great, the game play is great, but still get annoyed when you lose a 7-1 battle. lol would recomend this to anyone.Version: 2.6

Love this game!I've played this game for many, many years, back when one could even create their own map! I play this game daily, and I love it. The improved AI is appreciated! The only improvement I would request would be an option for faster play. E.G. - Extreme Fast where there is no animations for battles, the AI runs as fast as the processor will allow. I have an 8 minute walk from our parking lot to the office. Up until recently, I could complete a fairly large map as I walked into the office, I no longer can. 😕 I'd really like to see this improvement as this has been a great way to get my mind going in the mornings! Keep up the great work, thanks again!!!.Version: 5.0.1

Fantastic game!Excellent game, very challenging and I love the diversity and sheer number of different levels. Really happy to see they added more as well! Looking forward to future updates! Keep up the good work!.Version: 3.0

ConquestGreat game, dose not use much battery life so can be played over and over again. New maps all the time so new challenges, put game on hardest setting and cards on limit to really test yourself. Why pay extra for risk when this is just as good. Top app, good work people..Version: 0

Best Risk Style Game for the iPadIf you like Risk then you'll love this game. I actually found this version better than the Risk game for the iPad. The game is relatively easy to learn and play. I also found the AI to be pretty good and on "Very Hard" mode can be very challenging. The best thing about this game are over 60 maps to play on! All these maps provide. Wide variety of play. Some maps are very nice and challeging but others are very easy and some even lame. Fortunately, the great majority of the maps are good. I found those that are based on real geography to be the most challenging. The game also has a wide variety of controls that allow you to play many different variations. The only negative I've come across is that the die role every now and then can be a bit buggy. In some cases when I had a large army attack a much smaller one with 2 or 3 to one odds in my favor. I took an unusually large loss. Fortunately it doesn't occur too often. The only thing I would suggest other than fix that odd die role that occurs every now and then would be to have the option to create unit pieces than just show numbers and improve the map graphics a bit more. Overall it's a very good game..Version: 3.3

GreatA great game for anyone who likes stratergy games. hours of fun and good AI. constantly searching for those choke points!!! 5 stars.Version: 2.7

GreatgameI play this every day and never get bored but i would like some new maps please.Version: 3.4

NEW MAPSLet me say one think before I start my review. This game is perfect. I have no idea what you are saying when the game crashes or the computer gangs up on you. I play on Very Hard and I win 75% of the time. I hate to say this but STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT AN APP IF YOU ARE TERRIBLE AT IT! I'm sick of people busting on the game when it is there I-pod that they dropped so the app doesn't work or something like that. If you are going to write a review write something that people will care about and that they will read! (HIT YES IF U AGREE TO THIS) The one thing that I was very disappointed to see was that there were no new map options. I got this game about the same time it came out so I have played every map choice multiple times and it is starting to get very boring to play each map so many times. How about a USA map with the 50 states, or Canada would be really cool also. Maybe do the 7 continents one map of North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Austrailia, and maybe an Antartica (I am not sure how to design the Antarctica though). I really hope that the next few updates will be closer together, like a week apart and not a month like the last one. Besides the fact that I was hoping for a couple of new maps the new update is perfect. It doesn't crash or anything like that. Thumbs up to the people who created this amazing game! I hope to see more amazing work by the developers! Good Luck.Version: 0

Does what it shouldA nice and simple Risk game, with a nice variety of maps..Version: 3.4

Great Game! This Is a great game that ressembles risk in a big way. There are options to turn computers on and off, so you can have between 2 and 8 players. There is a large bar at the bottom seperated into colors with number in them, I call it the "territory bar", is fractions out how much territory each player owns out of the whole map. There are many maps, so you do not get bored playing the same one repeatedly. You may see alot of reviews saying that the dice rolls are "unfair". This is a game of luck and these people don't get that, and if you aren't okay with it, there is an option for NO DICE combat! Basically if someone has 50 armies and attacks someone with 30, they will have 20 left! So stop complaining you guys! If you like risk or you like strategy, buy this app, it is 100% worth it! The only suggestion that I have is multiplayer, it would be really cool to add that in, because the computers can get old after a very long time. Great app!.Version: 0

Love riskThe game risk is the best, and so is this one, but I think the makers could have spent a bit more time on it. About half of the maps look like random squares drawn on a piece of paper(specifically starquest). Others that do look good, like skyland, are offset by messups. On sky land, look to the continent near the top to the right of the main volcano. The country that looks a bit like Italy, but without the water all around it, cleary looks to be adjacent to the country below it that is a border to the continent below. You cannot move or attack between them. Also, the continents are difficult to distinguish on that map and a few others. The computer is exceedingly stupid when it comes to the late game. Somebody (usually you) will be stronger than the others, but they continue to fight eachother making it quite easy for you to finish them off. Overall, this version of risk is not all that great, but it's bieng a risk game makes it worthy of 5 stars..Version: 0

Thank You Sean for ListeningThanks for listening for user "requests" to make the new animations optional. This new version is better than ever. I am going to download another one of you apps and make some in app purchases as a thank you. Again, I would gladly pay for more maps as well :-).Version: 5.0.1

More maps please!Great game, if not a little pricey. Would be great to see some more maps as mentioned in the product description..Version: 0

Pretty goodDoes as advertised.Version: 5.0.1

Great GameJust need to add more maps! Like North America, Canada, South America Etc.Version: 3.3

WoopsI wrote a review saying how horrible game speed was... turns out it is only slow on aboriginal aussie map . my bad.Version: 3.2

Love this gameI've been playing this game since I got my first iPhone. Love it. Can be annoying when the AI wins easily and you lose loads of units when attacking just a few. I play it all the time and would recommend it to any risk fan..Version: 2.7

Great funPlease get more maps..Version: 3.2

Great versionGreat version of Risk. Seems intelligent and fair to me. Can't imagine the negative reviews come from real players of the game. Check out the dev's website and forums. He's been making games for a very long time and is highly regarded..Version: 0

Save?I think the game itself is brilliant, and so addictive! Admittedly the losing 2 armies on an empty territory can be frustrating, but you get used to it and it is soon not a problem. There's only one way in which this game could be improved, and that is to create a save option so a player can have more than one game on the go at a time, eg start a game with some mates then decide to start a single player game too. With this added I have no doubt this would be my favourite app available from iTunes! Thanks.Version: 0

My favorite app!!This is by far the most used app on my phone. It is super fun and perfect for killing time. Everyone that sees me playing asked what it and wants to play!.Version: 5.0.1

Much betterI like this more than the risk version way more enjoyable and stays fun longer with the different map selections.Version: 3.3

IPhone X screen size plsPlease format for iPhone X.Version: 5.0.1

Addictive, needs to be harder!Love this game, the only one I playing my iPhone, even after 2 years! A few issues, agree on the sound, annoying you can't listen to music while playing. Also, I can easily beat the ai on very hard with all computer players active, I need a Super Hard level!.Version: 3.2

Great game. Stats summary shows dice rolls ARE randomThis is a great game. I got it as an alternative to a similar game that rhymes with "disk"and in fact I think this is far superior. The number of different maps, difficulty levels, dice options, and card options make this a lot of fun. I don't understand the negative reviews at all. One complaint seems to be that the computer is favored by the dice rolls, but under settings there is a statistical summary which shows that the dice rolls are equally distributed. Another is that the computer will attack even for its short-term disadvantage, but this is actually a good strategy for a smart computer to use as it prevents you from getting continents too easily. It seems to apply this to the other computer opponents so I don't feel that this is a bias against the human player. Possibly these concerns applied to an older version but I don't see a problem now. I highly recommend this game, very addictive and a lot of fun. The only glitches are minor: the world map in the corner sometimes obscures part of the territories, and it is sometimes difficult to attack around-the-world from one end of the map to the other, while the computer can do so easily..Version: 2.8

Better than RISKThis version offers so many maps and options for any taste that I don't see how anyone can rightly feel they haven't gotten their money's worth with this app. I never found the dice to be rigged. There is even a statistical analysis of the dice throws to convince you of this. I think the people complaining about this just don't seem to understand that improbable does not mean impossible. If you throw the dice enough times, you will get improbably strings of results like losing 64 to 6. The frustration involved in such a defeat just makes it more noticeable. I've also been on the winning side of such lopsided victories but tend not to get as excited about those. Actually, I play with the dice off option which trades off armies evenly one for one on attacks and defenses. That takes the luck factor out and makes the game depend purely on strategy. The only reason I've given this version four stars instead of five, is because of the wild spinning that has started recently (but not that frequently for me) and the fact that it seems like when I play with my favored options, the territories are not actually randomly distributed but always come up in exactly the same pattern, and then are assigned to one of the four players..Version: 3.4

Great game. Simple and awesome! This is a great game and the maps and other options make it better then the game it was created to emulate. It has also been on the AppStore longer than the brand name version and is still being supported and improved when other developers have abandoned their versions..Version: 4.2

Great responseThanks for fixing the animations. back to being my favorite game... maybe some new maps next?.Version: 5.0.1

Good but...Love it but can't play while lying down (changes screen when rotated. Have to play sideways.). Fix and I'll rate 5 stars. =D.Version: 0

Awesome game!!!This game is super addicting and great for years of play!!! This game would be my absolute favorite if it included online play!!! Please make it happen!!!.Version: 2.7

Best game by FARRRRRHave heaps of games but this is the only game i can say i just keep going back too... 5 stars x x x x x.Version: 0

Simple but entertainingAI on max setting is challenging but not too much. Playing this game to relax and for this purpose its great.Version: 3.4

Solid Risk variantConquest’s interface could be more polished but the gameplay is enjoyable and can be customised. It’s fun exploring the different maps and developing strategies for each. Game stats would make a welcome addition. While I appreciate universal apps and the free ‘upgrade’, the iPad version needs further work—the menus are gigantic and you can’t zoom out to see entire map. Version 2.4 includes new maps but Russia has some ‘holes’ between two apparently separate territories and the old England is broken. Bought this after loving Lux Touch and needing more, but put off Lux DLX 1.1.1 by the negative feedback. And yes, the dice are random—random means sometimes you get a losing streak or 6 armies can’t defeat 1..Version: 0

ConquestA fantastic game! One major hiccup though, the A.I is woefully inept, it would rather waste its resources and position to block a computer opponent or ruin it's complete continent than secure it's own situation, this for me is quite poor,i play on very hard using all opponents, that's 7 computers, if i have a full continent, even the ones next to me will leave me alone, but another, will go through 4,5 or even 6 countries to break me, leaving itself open to attack, where is the sense in that? It comes across as being extremely petty, if that makes any sense at all.A continent with two countries worth one extra army after 10 or 15 goes will have up to 50+ armies in each of its countrie of a different colour, where is the sense in that? it's only worth one extra, why build up your armies for that? and leave all your other options alone?.Apart from that i have spent hours on this game, utterly brilliant!! but please have a fondle with the A.I make it seem more believable. Thankyou.Version: 0

This is goodAt first it may look bad but it isn't this is really addictive. The computer does cheat sometimes but if it was easy then you would get bored. Very well done just bought the full version.Version: 0

True to it's rootsFirst played this on pocket pc years ago and was totally addicted. This version stands up well to time. Excellent playability, easy to pick up but bl00dy hard to put down! Would love to see more maps to play on and more human players. Otherwise, good work, Fella!.Version: 0

Great game - recommendedGreat game - World map is the classic, but I am working my way through all of them. Had this on my old Windows Mobile Phone for years - the developer was really helpful back then - even providing a couple of spare registration keys when I had to replace my phone. Request: Could we get the full UK map please (rather than just England) and I would love to see the Enterprise back if possible!.Version: 2.7

Better than RiskYou really couldn't ask for more. I have no idea what the critics are on about. The developers have done a brilliant job, and it just keeps getting better. Download without delay!.Version: 2.8

Excellent gameMr O'Connor has created a really great game here and I felt I had to defend it from some of the negative reviews. On the hardest level it is difficult but not impossible. I've won on every map and would be happy to see some more added! It is challenging, like all strategy games should be. Also, try playing in multiplayer and maintaining some form of friendship afterwards! A really fantastic game that I've been playing on and off now for about four years. Bravo!.Version: 4.2

Great app & superb supportThis is an app I play a lot. Definitely worth the price. I had a problem with a download and the developer helped right away. Definitely recommend it..Version: 5.1.1

Dice are just fine -- ignore the whining and try this excellent game! This is an excellent and addictive game. I have no problem with the CPU's dice rolling. (People have been whining about lousy cards and dice for as long as cards and dice have existed.) My only complaint is that the CPU players occasionally act as a team. I just played a game where CPU Green and Blue, with strong holdings in Europe and North America respectively, allowed CPU Brown to capture Asia with almost no resistance, instead attacking me (in South America and most of Africa), or more rarely each other, round after round -- thus, of course, digging their own graves along with mine. No real players would ever use such strategy. Despite this occasional tendency, I enjoy the game. I play at the "very hard" level with "limit" card bonus (increases to max. 16 armies), and win about 75% of the time with random territories/choose armies, and about 33% of the time with random territories and armies. These are near-perfect ratios for me -- not impossibly hard, not boringly easy. I'm no super-genius, and there are several lower levels of difficulty along with permutations that I have found make the game much easier (choosing your own territories, for example, and allowing the card bonus to increase indefinitely), so I would think players of almost any skill and experience level would be able to find the right setting to get results similar to mine. Give it a try!.Version: 0

Great gameWould be five stars if only there were more maps or a map maker to make your own maps. A great game but needs more maps to keep the game as addictive as it is at the start. Dice roll seems fair , only ocasionally do the dice take 32 men for 1 but then that might actually happen in the real game!.Version: 0

Substandard at bestI agree with a lot of the reviews on here, the outcome of the dice rolling lies totally in favour of the computer teams. I love all the various maps but I would say 90% of the time you attack with a majority army and you lose yet the computer destroys your larger armies with 2's and 3's. I understand on hard you need a more aggressive computer AI and thats what I expect but you need to make the dice rolling fair..Version: 3.4

AmazingAmazing game, Bo better risk like game then this. Tons of maps and good ai. Please make the aboriginal Australia map function like the rest, as well as add new maps. Keep up the good work.Version: 3.4

Highly addictive. Beware! The most I've ever paid for an app but well worth it. Hours of fun. And the additional maps are awesome. Thanks for including a map of Middle Earth..Version: 3.4

The Best!!!My favorite game app ever. Played all the maps over and over, probably thousands of times and mastered all the mode options. Still love it. Great for winding down and relaxing with..Version: 5.1.1

ConquestExcellent adaptation of the classic board game. The dice rolls seem completely fair to me. My only gripes are that even on the most difficult setting the AI does not act aggressively enough and frustratingly will not attack a territory to complete a continent even though it would easily win! If these problems were sorted, particularly the latter then it would be worth the full 5 stars..Version: 0

Love this gameSure the graphics could be better and the interface a little complicated but once you get used to it, this is really a great game. As I read through the other reviews of those complaining I see those who find it too hard don't like it, but it's based on Risk, it supposed to be hard! fantastic, the best game I've bought so far..Version: 0

Great gameLike the extra maps but needs the old PPC England/Ireland map and others with more workable borders..Version: 0

My most used appI can't say enough great things about this app. I've never had it crash on me. I thought it was perfect and was suprised to see the recent update. The new features relieve me of the frustration when my fat fingers hit something by accident and are much, much appreciated. I would enjoy seeing some new maps as well as the ability to choose a map at random. My wife gives me grief because I'm always playing this game. I know it sounds "out there", but to me it is an excellent test of self-control and strategy..Version: 0

THE BEST 'RISK' APP!!Try not pay too much attention to the negative reviews, they're entitled to an opinion but don't let them influence you. The computer doesn't cheat with the dice, bad rolls go both ways. As for the no dice option not working, play with dice....the true RISK way. I play everyday, have done for months. Please keep up the great work Sean.Version: 0

Good Risk conversion with bonus maps.AI gives a reasonable challenge on hardest setting although Risk itself is a somewhat old game with built in flaws so once you know how to win it is hard for the computer AI to beat you unless it gets lucky early on. The extra maps are a very nice with a few of them being really hard to beat (although some are easy)..Version: 4.2

Win.The negative reviews seem to be from petulant people who don't understand probability. If this is you, don't buy this game. Graphics aren't good and there's no multiplayer but as a solo game it's very good. I've spent several hours playing this game so three quid isn't an issue to me. Great game..Version: 0

Blows Risk away!!!Worth the buy. Addictive too..Version: 3.4

Hugely addictive, very responsive developerFar and away the best game I have played on my iPhone. Dread to think the percentage of evenings over the last year I have spent trying to keep hold of Australasia in my bid to take over the world! Loving the range of new maps and top marks to the developer for the speed of fixes and updates too. This game was based on an Amstrad game I played when I was little - the only game where you could have up to eight friends playing at the same time. Conquest is better - and way more addictive - than you first think it will be. Top marks!.Version: 0

Great conquest gameSimple game. Lots of different maps. AI is a bit stupid and annoying at times, but a great game..Version: 4.2

Back to 5 stars!Prompt fix of the problems from very responsive dev. Top game. Would benefit from better AI as too easy to beat so keep having to give myself extra challenges in the games! All in all excellent though, and my most revisited game..Version: 0

NiceGreat update, game looks good, can u add a Canada map and a south America map on the next update, thanks.Version: 3.0

Very addictingI don't normally write reviews, but this is one game that deserves a review. It is addicting to the point that I have to delete it from my phone from time to time just to get work done. I tend to reinstall it on the weekends because that's when I have free time. To counteract the lopsided rolls, I set the dice calculations to "attacker advantage". I find this tends to more balanced results. The last time I reinstalled the game, I forgot to re-apply this setting, and I experienced the same problem as other users, where I attacked a country where the defenders had one army and I had 21 attacking, and I lost every army. The way the dice works has me thinking that the random number generator is time based, and the speed at which it does it's calculations is synchronous with the random generation. Maybe it's often popping up the exact same result for the attackers and the defenders? Anyway, great game none the less! It is really the only game I keep on my phone most of the time. :S.Version: 2.7

Better than "Official" Risk gamePretty solid risk like game. My go to. While maybe not as polished as the "name brand" game, the difficulty settings are better. With the "Official" game the A.I. Is the same no matter the difficulty settings. Harder difficulty only means worse starting countries. The game developer here did not take the lazy route for A.I. The higher difficulty levels do provide a more challenging opponent. My few quibbles with the game are that it doesn't provide an even more challenging A.I. If you are a solid Risk player, you shouldn't have much difficulty in winning 70-75% of your games with on the highest difficulty setting. A little better graphics or polish would be nice too, but not a big deal. I don't know if I'd pay the current price of $9.99, but I bought this in 2009, for a few bucks and still play it to this day..Version: 4.2

This version rocks!I've owned this app for years. The previous updates made me almost remove the app from my phone. With this version the UI is improved, the dice rolls are fair and the AI is better. Ive fallen in love all over again. Now please don't mess it up..Version: 5.0.1

Fantastic Living AppI call this a living app because the author is continuously adding and improving content. I have never had it crash. I enjoy the different maps, and although the AI is never as brutal as real players, it is an enjoyable game I keep coming back to. Keep the updates coming. A Games won % for each map by difficulty level would be nice..Version: 0

Love ItSame for me - most I've ever paid for an app, but it is a great game and it never gets old. I bought this because I love the game risk, but it was getting boring. When I saw that this game had 50 maps, I knew I would like it. These are just some suggestions: Some of the maps are terrible (no offense) for example, the maze maps, deep space war, and the space station maps, just to name a few. They are NOT fun to play. Often when I am one of the three teams left, the other two gang up on me. This is probably just my luck, but I thought I'd mention it. PLEASE come out with more maps in an update! I love the variety of maps, and most of the best ones are of real places on earth, life the maps England, Africa, or Middle East. This is an excellent game you've made, and I'd buy some of your others if they weren't so expensive....Version: 3.4

Fun!Be sure to set speed to max, as well as AI, great to pass time.Version: 5.2.1

Awsome game!!!!!!!I was wrong in light version this game is worth the $ Just would like a few more maps plaese other than that it is fun and addictive!.Version: 0

Great gameGreat maps that range between 5 minute games or 20.Version: 4.2

Awesome!I've owned this game for quite a long time now. It started out with only a few maps, but many many more have been added over time. I still play this game very regularly and have convinced a few other people to get it and they are also hooked! There are tons of maps to choose from, but since I've played it so much, I'd always appreciate more. :).Version: 3.4

FantasticGreat gameplay easy controls be much better if it had a treaty option..Version: 0

Loaded DiceSince posting my original review, I have had time to play all the maps. Addictive, is the best word to use here. It's fun, fast paced, and just plain addictive. The dice don't seem to be as overtly loaded as before; I don't know why, but it makes playing a lot more fun. When I first purchased this, the computer favored itself over the human players 95% of the time. You just couldn't play. Now it's about even. Ocassionally the computer will pull out a loaded dice session, but not like before. For that major improvement alone, I am raising my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. That having been said, improvements are still needed urgently: 1. Online Play 2. Better Tactile Response (attacking and moving can be a pain in the neck as the screen doesn't recognize your finger movement) 3. MORE MAPS!!! Overall though, I definitely recommend this game. There is also a PC version available which is 100 times better than the iPhone version. ORIGINAL REVIEW Overall the game is terrific but the dice is anything but fair. The computer just conquers freely while the human player gets nowhere. I cannot tell you how many times I've lost 20 or more armies to territories with 2-3 armies. The game maker needs to get out of his egotistical denial and listen to us, his customers. There is something wrong with the dice,.Version: 0

Great gameAnd they fixed the bugs - and the game works great again. One of my favorite Apps..Version: 0

Great gameI have normal risk. On that the graphics are great, awards make you want to keep playing, and it's only a buck. And this game is way better. The main reason for that is in the other game it was basically raise a huge army and push your opponent way back, and they'll do the exact same the next turn. In this, is it a lot more like playing with an actual person. Plus, the extra maps are great (mostly) and the play seems balenced. It is one of my favorite games, only beaten by clash of clans..Version: 3.4

Good game ...butIt's a great game but really takes the Micky with the dice rolling! For example I had 24 armies against 0, I did not take the territory, the computer had 2 armies against my 9 and took it! Played the free version before buying the full game, should have stuck with the free as I only play the world map, but that's me. With 50 or so maps plenty to keep you entertained..Version: 3.4

New updateSeems to be better now can play a game again no problems so far so back to 5 star rating for now well done for fixing the problems you created.Version: 0

Latest update fixed landscape issueApp is back working after latest update. Landscape bug where presses were miscalibrated has been fixed. Great Risk-like game..Version: 5.1.1

Thank YouThank's for fixing the game for iPhone 6s!.Version: 4.2

Good game- needs fixesThis was a great little game to while away the hours, but since the last update, placing armies on the map has become a lottery- the map jumps randomly and your armies end up all over the place. Also, in 'equal losses' mode, sometimes one of the computer places can kill your forces with no losses of their own- not good! Otherwise, and enjoyable game..Version: 3.4

Additional Maps Suggestion- Ancient World EmpiresI Love Conquest ! I made a similar suggestion a while ago, and was poo-poo-d by people whining about functionality. I have had no problems with the game play and love all the maps! Every addition is great! Now, how about adding some ancient world maps, like the Greek, Persian or Roman Empires? We could follow the path of Alexander the Great, and conquer all of the then known world. Or follow Rome's path to greatness conquering all the Roman provinces, and battle territories on the outskirts, fighting germanic tribes, etc. I think ancient maps would be great to play! Conquering lands with ancient boundaries and names. Or how about a European middle ages/early modern map, or Napoleanic War period? A good source for creating maps would be the books The Penguin Historical Atlas of Ancient History, Medieval History, Ancient Greece, or Ancient Rome (all great reads by the way). I am crossing my fingers, hoping these kinds of historical maps might be available in upcoming updates! Historical maps! Historical maps! Historical maps! Thank You!!!.Version: 2.8

Best risk-type gameThis is the best risk-based game I've played. Good maps and good options. My suggestions: provide more game play stats and in graph form. Also, the option to turn off notifications (eg when a continent is taken over) after being knocked out of the game would make watching the rest of the game less annoying. Love the game, looking forward to updates..Version: 3.4

A thing about dice rolls... (by the way, they ARE fair)I'm getting freakin' tired of seeing reviews saying the dice rolls aren't fair on every app that has dice in it. So here I make my stand. The only reason people say that the dice rolls aren't fair is because THE DICE ROLLS DON'T ALWAYS GO THEIR WAY! It's simple algebra to tell that sometimes you're going to get a dice roll that you don't like. Now think back to the actual board game of Risk. You remember the times that occaisonally a country with, like, two guys would fend off an entire army? It's fine in the real game, but of course on a software version they can just blame the programming. Maybe you should just invent a Risk version that doesn't involve dice. ;-) Well, anyway, a great game deserving of the five star rating..Version: 0

Setting the record straight…This is one awesome game; I play it several times a day and often at night when I should be sleeping. I know, I need a life. Is there one in the App Store? It seems to me that those who snivel and complain about the dice being rigged need someone or something to blame for their lack of skill and strategy. This IS a strategy game, and if you have a bad strategy, you’re more likely to lose. Watch how the AI plays, and try that. Remember, the defender has a slight edge, since a tie is a win for the defender. I don’t want to sound like a total blowhard, but it ain’t bragging if you can do it. I seldom lose, and I play 1 human/5 computers at AI Level Very Hard. I will admit I do lose from time to time. When I do, it usually happens right away. My quickest win is 8 rounds, but more often 10-12 rounds. I had one marathon battle that lasted over 200 rounds. One piece of advice for those who lose often: sometimes guerilla tactics work better than trying to take over and defend a territory. Well, I’d best sign off and get back to… the same thing I do every night. Try to take over the World! (apologies to Pinky and the Brain) Hopefully I don’t nod off, and the iPhone won’t fall on my face again tonight..Version: 0

One of the best gamesWell done fixing the bug one day post release! ————————————————- I've been playing conquest for years on all my apple devices. Clocked well over 2000 games, really enjoy it. The hardest mode is fair (still easy if you know how to win - Australia!), I don't know why everyone complains about losing to dice roll when it's just random rolls. More pieces you have for attacking better odds of winning..Version: 5.1.1

V2.0 Better than everI don't understand what the negative comments are about - the new version is even better with the extra maps and options. Great !.Version: 0

Conquest rulesA very addictive game but also deeply frustrating-I fail to believe that probability has anything to do with some ridiculous assaults I have made...and lost. The AI can consistently defend areas with a few units against massive numbers and yet when you try holding territorty with anything less than equal strenght you lose with minimal lose to him! That said you shouldn't let that put u off as I still lose hours to this great game...war is hell!.Version: 0

This is very close to the real game. If you like and are good at risk you will love this game.Let me start with this app is not perfect. If you are good at risk and love the game than go for it. I have been able to beat the game. It's hard. Here's my suggestions. Have multi player ability. Have skill levels. This game is set at a very high skill level. Include a copy of the rules. Have the ability to manually defend your properties instead of it being automatic. Have the ability to see what the other players are getting for troop replenishments. The basic flaw the program has is it moves very quickly through the other players and your not sure how many troops they will be getting so sometimes it seems unfair, but it's not. You just don't know how many troops they are getting. For those who ask how can 2 troops fend against 30. It's easy defense wins in ties. The real game is the same. For those that feel a small army can't defend against a large one. Wars have been won by a lesser force holding off against a greater force. The american revolution comes to mind as a prime example. If you don't get overwhelmed and take your time you can beat the game..Version: 0

Best Risk Out ThereAwesome game, I have, and love the original version of risk, but playing the same map got boring. I would love to see a save feature in this game, allowing people to play a game alone if another coop game is going on. More maps would be appreciated. Thanks!.Version: 3.4

FantasticI have always been a fan of risk-type games and this one is simply amazing. Very rarely do I spend money on an app, so spending three dollars took some contemplation. Totally worth it though, as you get 50 maps! Would recommend to anyone and everyone...more maps would be appreciated. ;).Version: 3.4

Fantastic gameExcellently slick clone of the famous board game 'risk' only issue is with the dice. The author says it's not biased so how come I can win on hardest mode almost every time with dice turned off but struggle on the easiest mode with dice turned on!? Still play it though, good value too. Would be nice to see an update with some new maps though..Version: 0

Great gameHad this game for a lllooonnnggg time now and still play it regularly. The AI isn’t the best. But, eh - it’s ok. Any chance with the new internet network play feature that some infrastructure be setup somewhere where people can share/see active games and play those?.Version: 5.2.0

AwesomeIts a fun game and it's nice to see it is still being updated..Version: 2.8

Great version of Risk !!This is a great version of risk. Love the drag-to-attack feature - works all the time for me. The option to choose different maps gives variety when controlling Australia gets old!! My wish list for future versions - 1) allow multiplayer options over wifi for friends who are too cheap to play on a real board but can afford an iphone... 2) upgrade the graphics a little bit. thanks, sean. [iPhone 3Gs, 32GB, Telus Mobility].Version: 0

Addictive....Get this game!!!Love this app, it's so much fun, I can get a quick fix of taking over the world on the go! This new version has some great features - loads of different maps to choose from - trying to conquer England was Atlantis adds a fun new challenge to the game. Lots of options to vary on startup including numbers of players, difficulty, card bonus and whether you choose your own territories or not. Can't stop playing - an essential purchase for all fans of strategy games..Version: 0

Good game, add real multiplayer (instead local) please! This is a good game. Many imaginative map, could see author names all the tiles also. The mechanism of the game is simple but fun. However I felt the AI is too simple, and the game becomes unchallenging. For those who want to know the winning strategy against AI, here is my ideas (original setting, other configurations are simple too): 1. Be a nomad. Accumulating your army in a single tile, attack zero defense territory to gain card bonus. While AI attacking each other constantly to reduce their total army, your vastly strong army with one tile will be ignored by all AI. When the time is ripe you just be an assassin, kill a player or grab a weak province and fortify it, accumulating your higher income. To be a nomad you need to search a tile that have good transportation power, to reach many other tiles (your grassland) easily. 2. Be a land tycoon. In some map the key is not win a province, but just grab as many territories to gain 1 army per 3 tiles. This you need to notice the AI interests by seeing where they attack. And then you attack the land where no one interests. To secure your land you eliminate weak colors leaving only 2 or 3 neighbors. 3. This is by far the simplest, in the beginning just find a province that is very easy to defense, and accumulating your army to conquer that province. In world map it’s obviously Australia. After conquering just wait, as your income is higher than others, and they are constantly war each other to undermine their army. Then slowly crouch out, expanding. As you can see, the AI is stupid. It lacks the big picture. They can’t see whom is threaten all of them and be unified against that color. They just constantly war each other without knowing the number of total army. When one AI is hugely advantageous the AI doesn’t know how to properly grow and attack, and their army is useless. Their actions are often bizarre. So I would suggest adding online multiplayer server, so we can play real persons, that will be way more challenging. Also please add new maps, you have a lamb world map which only contains 42 territories. Why not combine the map of US, China, Europe, Middle East, Africa, etc, to build a vast world map? That will be very cool. Also in the end game where your army and land is way superior please add the function to auto attack all remaining land and win. So we don’t need to click all the land and do the boring work. Also in some map it’s unclear where is the border of province, and what is a province’s output..Version: 5.1.1

Need more worlds!Great game. Good AI. Many, many places to battle and conquer, each with their own strategy. Not too keen on the maze/hex worlds. Need some more worlds! How about Mars, the Moon, Jupiter and its moons, Saturn and its moons, Avatar, etc?.Version: 3.4

Great game new update...To many bugs on new update the game has a lot of bugs now that are very annoying!! Please fix!.Version: 0

Ten starsI would give the game ten stars if the developers made an online version, such as attack in facebook.Version: 0

Fun but...I agree with the 'loaded dice' theory. I eventually had to turn the dice function off and just go one for one, which is not as fun but less aggravating than having 10 men wiped out by 2. Also aggravating is that sometimes it will not less you select a target country to attack. I swipe and swipe trying to make an attack and sometimes have to stop because i can't make the move that I want. I would like to see a redo, when you accidentally place men in the wrong country for what ever reason. Overall I'm satisfied with the game. Would also like to be able to Bluetooth it..Version: 0

Great game, very well doneI've become totally addicted to this game and have played it 100+ times since buyig it. Easily the most used game on my iPhone. Larger maps and statistics are the only two things I can think of that would make this fantastic game even better. I'd love to know what my winning percentage is..Version: 0

Love this game!It has endless variety and can be extremely tough. It is my go to time killer on my iPhone. When it has me dominated and backed into a corner it can take hours of cautious tactics and persistence to beat. The only thing I am disappointed in is now that I have installed it on an iPad I wish it used the extra screen space to let me see a wider field of view instead of just enlarging the graphics..Version: 4.2

ConquestI first played this game on the Apple Classic 11 in the '90's, as risk, and it's a very faithful varient, very simple, very addictive, though basic intrusctions for the first time user would be nice, and a WiFi challange mode should be available. From my point of view well worth buying. On a final note, if you are looking for a modern HD graphics loaded modern game, this is NOT for you, it's a fun retro 90's game..Version: 0

ExcellentRevisions keep on getting better....keep them coming please.... Some new maps excellent .... Would like to see real world continent maps such as Europe please . Haven't seen any AI cheating .... Just random bad luck and coresponding random good luck too. Game gives many hours of pleasure..Version: 0

Simple funI’ve spent a lot of time on this game. Dev updates a lot for such a simple game. Very much appreciate what you do. Cheers.Version: 5.1

Best time passerI've had this app for years and I'm still not tired of it. Only thing that could make this better if there were missions to complete like in the old "Risk" game..Version: 3.4

Grandma’s FavoriteYes, I’m a 70 year old grandmother who played RISK (copyrighted) back in college! Staying up half the night, forming alliances, etc. and still have the board game in a closet! When Sean O’Connor came out with Conquest (copyrighted) on the computer, it was the first game I ever purchased! And transferred from upgrade to upgrade. And then there were phones, and then iPads! Thank you, Mr. O’Connor for providing me and my husband with hours upon hours of fun and competition through the years. I’ve downloaded several of your word games as well and they are challenging. They keep my mind sharp. And, you’ve never gouged us with in-app purchases! You are a true gentleman! Thank you, thank you, thank you!.Version: 5.2.1

The best risk clone going aroundI've tried the rest and this is quite simply the best Risk clone going around with true to the original grameplay and simple yet effective graphics. The best turbo that I have seen makes for quick games against challenging and sometimes very clever AI. There are fancier versions out there which lack the charm. Extra maps should keep you battling away for many hours. Highly recommend..Version: 0

Fixed and great again.I have played this for years. The animation made it so much slower but now they fixed it and game plays fast again. Keep up great work and look forward to new maps..Version: 5.0.1

Simply so goodMy best game with Slay on the iphone Multiplayer option would just be the next lever.... Keep up the good work!.Version: 3.2

Best Risk game out there - far better than LuxI'm a big fan of strategy games, especially Risk. I tried Lux and didn't really like it, but this version is much better. Apart from the obvious attention to detail, the computer plays an excellent game, and it's really easy to fire it up in a spare moment and have a quick battle. Great game, and well worth the price..Version: 0

Take the RiskAddictive, I waste more of mu time with this ap than all the others put together. Best app for the money. Only a troll could object to the wide range of maps and options. I do have a strong suspicion that the random number generator is not unbiased - there are too many bad runs..Version: 0

ThanksIts a classic game I enjoy playing. I've been playing off and on for about a year and a half and I can say he is good about coming out with new maps, keeps me looking forward to updates. It's nice someone changes things after so long, seems like most games just rest on their haunches after an update or 2.Version: 2.8

Great game, only a few flaws.I love RISK, so this game is great. Love the additional boards, would be great if they could add some more. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating is threefold. One, no matter what the developer says, each roll is not random in and of itself. It seems the computer is setup to make a roll random compared to the other rolls that have taken place in the game. Whatever the logic, it is flawed. I've played risk my whole life and have never seen anyone lose 30 to 1. In this game I have had it happen on multiple occasions. The odds of getting some of these large losses in a single game, paired with opponents steamrolling you in the same game; well... let's just say if this game was the lottery, I would have won multiple times. Two, in two of the boards there is a glitch in the ability to move between adjacent countries. You can go one way, but not the other. Three, if you try to start a game with the iPhone horizontal, half of the map is grey and you have to reorient the board. Small glitch that takes a couple of seconds to fix, but still a bit annoying. With this said, it is still a great game. The out of balance rolling can get a bit frustrating at times, but you can just start a new game when that happens..Version: 0

Fav gameThis is my Fav game in my iPhone. I brought it ages and ages ago, and I still can't put it down. Love the new maps. Computer doesn't cheat, I love the dice roll stats too. Great game worth paying a pound - great verity of maps - will keep you amused for hours/days/weeks/months.  Please add more maps soon .Version: 0

Still Highly addictiveI wrote a review for version 2.6 and the game has only gotten better. This is my favorite game app. For those who enjoy the original Risk game this is 50 times better (50 maps). The game play is easy to learn and variables such as dice/no dice, card values, number of opponents, yada yada make the play challenging even after several hundred plays. Some people seem to be bothered by the odds played by the dice. I will admit there are times in Defender wins mode that it seems you loose encounters that are clearly in your favor but that is statistics for you. You just need to adapt your strategy..Version: 3.4
