✓ This will save you moneyI've been using this for years. It will save you money! The developer has consistently made improvements scanning is quick and reliable. The only down side is that once scanned the search engine technology is not as reliable. For example sometimes it gets the price of a used item rather than a new item. ✓ Wait a barcode scanner that works in CanadaThis is unbelievable. This scanner works in Canada on mostly all of my products. I tried everything else (and i mean everything) on the app store and i think I finished finding a good barcode scanner to compare deals! Now I only wish that it looked up Staples Canada, they have good deals from time to time on electronics (which you can save a whole lot of money on) If this app wasn't free, I would have not minded paying $1 for it. It's real fun to scan all that is in sight, but you have to hold the camera super still and it will have more trouble with some barcodes more than others. ✓ Amazing app for 3G SAfter reading previous reviews, this app sounded like a case of a great idea with poor execution. But I noticed some 3G S users who seemed to have nothing but good things to say, so I gave it a shot . . . I can only speak for my use on my 3G S, but for me, this app has been terrific. I've had a high success rate with the UPC's that I've snapped. I'm careful to keep a steady hand, but it seems to give more leeway with that than I expected. I don't know about older iPhone models, but for 3G S users, this app is amazing, and a must-have..Version: 0

✓ MrI've tried all of the free readers, and this is the only one that actually works ! It seems to be the only one you can Tailor to the UK. It also reads very easily. It finds CDs and books every time and if doesn't know the price, you can press the google search button and it instantly gives a retailer and price list. Very good free app :0).Version: 0

To my surprise it worked GREAT! and it was still really quick! While it's really great for electronics and appliances and that stuff, what I really like about this app is the library feature. ✓ Great app!Ok people who are saying that the scanner doesn't find any of the products they scan are obviously not scanning the right items. The scanner does not recognize food, drinks, living things, etc. because those things are not sold on the Internet. The scanner does not get data from stores! The scanner does recognize almost all videos and books. It also recognizes most everyday items such as cleaning products, electronics, etc. If it's sold on the Internet(not including eBay or other sites that let any person advertise things they want to sell), it may be recognized by the scanner..Version: 0

✓ Good appI buy large lots to sell on eBay and this helps me quickly locate an item and determine an approximate value. It recognizes most items and has a backup plan if it can't find it in it's database. In that manner it's 5 stars. But, the camera should be able to focus when I touch the focal point just like it does in the iPhone camera's normal operating mode. It's frustrating trying to get it focussed sometimes and I just have to restart the app. Overall I really like it though!.Version: 0

Only one complaint...This application is such a great one to have...scans books and other media barcode's in a matter of seconds and gives a list of stores that sell the product so you can compare pricing. Only this is I used to be able to email myself the results (either the last result or the previous 20), but with the most recent update, I can't figure out how to email or otherwise export more than the most recent entry scanned!! I really liked the ease of sending a list of the last 20 items, and wish I could figure out how to still do that!!.Version: 0

✓ Interesting ApplicationUsing a 3G S Camera It does work prvided you have read the directions and have the proper lighting. Functionality is a little slim. It would be nice to choose what stores we get our search results from; however I dont think there is a suitable online database which you can seach UPC codes for price comparison yet. ✓ Not bad at allThis app is great fun and works on important items most of the time. Don't expect it to work on packets of crisps and other minor items but on most items worth comparing prices for it works well. It even worked on the ipod when I had no Wifi and that was a surprise . Speaking of not "getting it", all the complaints I've seen are from users who apparently, are incoherant ranters who can't seem to grasp basic concepts in language, spelling or technology. ✓ Like this one!This is the first one that works pretty good. I have found that the item needs to be some what a NATIONAL products. I own a salon and most of my products where found. I went to a friends store and some of his items also came up. I checked out some books and it worked on newer ones and I tried it on some of my office supplies and also worked. I also tried the Red Laser app. This one is faster than RL, but RL isolates the results in the app's interface and doesn't have to open up safari. So, that makes the speed even in both apps. As soon as I did that then it worked great every time! You DO have to be patient in lining up the snapshot - you can't just snap in an instant and expect it to work. ✓ Works great, saves $$$This app has helped me find a product on the Internet many times when a local store doesn't have the size or color I'm looking for. It also helps me figure out whether the local price is reasonable considering the help I'm getting, and the "speed" of local pickup. It has saved me some major $$$ when the online price has been significantly less. In most store lighting the barcode scanner works perfectly (with both my older 3GS phone/iOS 3, and my newer 4 iPhone), and the search feature is reliable. Sometimes I have to search the product box for the correct barcode (shoes often have two different barcodes), but only one will scan into pic2shop. ✓ Good - "Results" needs helpThis app has saved me big bucks - my only complaint - in "results" it would be WAY nice to be able to go through and delete the items you don't want to save, as it will only save a certain # of items and delete the older ones. I use this as a "shopping list" - so I don't forget to get it online if necessary. Also, once you click on an item in the "results" - it's apparently IMPOSSIBLE to get back to the list! ✓ Great free tool...one requestI have the new ipod touch with camera. The app works perfectly as long as I have a wifi connection (and it is very quick and clever...we love it). It'd be perfect if it could store some bar codes when I did not have the connection, then look them up when I was back in wifi range. Would this be possible? Especially useful when wandering round a book shop, just launch the app, read the barcode and email yourself, I do this to usually buy it cheaper on eBay!! ✓ Coool AppThis App works like a champ. Someone told me about Redlaser. Then I stumbled on this App. While sitting at the B&N bookstore, I installed it, then scanned a few barcodes from the books and the App worked EXACTLY as advertised. It gave me every price available for the books I scanned. What would make this App even better given that it's free is I could use a Base price and for it to render percentage calculations savings relative to the Base Price. ✓ Great for booksThis app is great for finding books, where to buy and sometimes has info on what libraries have the book. It's not so good with groceries or wines, unless stocked by Majestic! I've used the app to scan a list of my reference books and email the details to myself to start a catalog so I know what books not to buy again. It found every book I scanned..Version: 5.6
