✓ Change the name againGreat app, but seriously: what a ridiculous name. It's for use in schools and it's name isn't even spelled properly. The app isn't for pros, it's for students. Just name it iStudent or iStudy or something. My rating will go up when the name changes again..Version: 0
✓ Bug?Used this a lot and had it for quite a long time on my iPod and it was amazing but then I had an incident which caused me to loose all date for this app (and everything else) so I didn't enter information again until I got an IPad and realised it was a Free since I had the paid version on another divide which was great! But...I was entering information fine for class one and all the assignments.....but the button for adding another class looks to be missing its no where! Now I have an app that only helps me for one class. Hopefully it's fixed soon as this is a great app it's so polished, buttery smooth and the GUI is top, you could trick people into thinking this was a apple made app..Version: 1.6.1
✓ Support don't reply after 3 months of contacting themI had purchased this app years ago and used it for many purposes. When they added extra feature such as tasks I asked them why is it asking me to purchase premium membership because my initial purchase was "Lifetime Membership" of the Istudiez app, meaning anything inside this app forever no matter what is upgraded should be for free. I contacted them via email numerous times and received no reply. The lack of support is horrible too. Not recommended. I switched to another app..Version: 2.0.1

✓ Very Slow & FrustratingAt first this app looked great. Almost everything I was looking for, until I started entering in my study lectures, exams, assignments. As you enter more details the slower it gets. I got to about 35 entries (3 out of 4 subjects) and I am at the point where I want to throw it out the window. It also crashed on me twice. It would also be useful for another field where you could note the readings for each weekly class. Nb: I have an iPhone 3G still on iOS 3.1.3.Version: 0
✓ Missing one featureThis is a very good app that syncs with other iCloud devices which makes it easy to use. However, there is a feature missing. We aren't able to take notes e.g. Lecture notes in the app and are forced to use another app. It would be 5 star easily if we had the ability to add .doc and other formats such as .ppt and make handwritten notes for each lecture and view them by date or week. This would help to make revision for exams so much easier. And possible even choose which specific notes and documents we have taken are available to sync through iCloud and which are simply stored on the device as iCloud would have a limit and some files might be really big..Version: 1.6.5
✓ It’s Good but only for Mobile UseI used this app for 3.5 years of undergraduate, and it functioned nicely for my needs, and reminders were helpful. It can really only be used on one device because sharing is a false option. When I wanted to expand my use to the desktop or web, I opted for the paid “pro” subscription. BUT I NEVER GOT DESKTOP ACCESS. It wouldn’t let me sync my data, so I could only use the app in my mobile device. I wrote to them asking about the connection, because I could never connect my account and access it on web, and my card had been charged, and they said they were “working on it”, and I asked to be updated when it was fixed or progress made. I never heard from them. Canceled my subscription, didn’t really chase reimbursement because it was like $2, but I’m irritated that they didn’t at least prevent payment if connection was a known issue. To my knowledge, others have had the issue, and I’m not sure the developer has done anything about it. It was a good app. Dear developer, at the very least please save some people the money by being honest and don’t allow them to purchase “pro” subscription if syncing between devices isn’t presently possible..Version: 2.0.1

✓ Keeps crashingSeemed like a great app on the face of it. Looks great and appears to do what I needed it to do. However, during my first use of the app it has crashed 3 times. After the first crash when I went back into the app the classes I had created we're still there - however after enduring my 3rd crash went back into the app and the previous 3 classes I had painstakingly created were no longer there. Reluctantly not going to bother entering any more classes as I do not want to waste any more of my valuable time entering the class details only to find out they get deleted after further crashes. Disappointed - sort it!.Version: 1.5.7
✓ Dead in the WaterI have been using this app for years, and it does do some things well. However, the more you use it, the more you start to notice missing features, awkward processes that require way too many steps, and glitches that need to be corrected. For instance, there is no way to create a recurring assignment. You have to cut/paste over and over and over. Moving assignments is also cumbersome and clumsy. There are also times where the text is illegible or when selecting or marking off an assignment does nothing (an obvious bug!). Despite their subscription model for “Pro” access, this developer does NOTHING to fix or enhance the app in any way. (Don’t believe me? Just look at the date on the latest app update. Even that was for some minor fix and did not address the real problems with the app.) All I’m saying is consider this before you commit to spending money on this app. The subscription model is designed so that developers can sustain and profit from CONTINUED work on the product—not just so they can collect money indefinitely for doing nothing. If the developer is collecting a monthly subscription fee, they should also be working monthly to improve and care for the app. As you can clearly see, this developer is no longer invested in their product, so maybe you should not be either. I suggest going with another app with a more responsible and engaged team behind it..Version: 2.0.1

✓ Great app but subscription makes no senseThe app works nicely but requiring a weekly or monthly subscription for data sync when it can be done free with iCloud is terrible. I don’t need to register an account with a third party just to sync kilobytes of data where other apps do it just fine with iCloud and especially when a premium is paid for app features..Version: 2.0.1
✓ Istudiez proThis app would be fantastic if I didn't have to enter my classes septerately for each term or 'semester'. Perhaps a future update would see the app storing classes? Also, I have multiple lecturers for some of my classes, so being able to add them all would be nice. I would also like to see a way of viewing my weekly timetable without having to go through menus - a landscape timetable would be awesome. A few minor niggles with the UI is all I have. ✓ Not just for students! UPDATE***Updated Dec 09*** - Although still a good app since the last version it appears to have got much slower to load. The upgrade also wiped all of my old data which was a real pain! I sent an email to the developers at the time but no reply! Some way to go before it gets ***** from me I think. As a teacher I have found this app the best of the bunch, I have suggested a few additions but overall this is excellent. A must for any teacher wanting to keep on top of their timetable..Version: 0
✓ Fall from graceThe app is really well designed and has a bunch of useful features a student needs. As much as I would love to pay for the app, there are some dealbreakers. First of all, there is no permanent premium option. Given that my App Store balance comes from inconsistent birthday gift cards, a paid subscription is unsustainable for me. What if one year I run out of funds? I don’t care if a permanent option costs 20 or 30 bucks, but at least GIVE THE OPTION. Also, it literally charges you for platform sync. This has been the latest trend in these organization apps that I just don’t seem to understand. They just don’t work and aren’t flexible as they would be without the subscription. I prefer paying donations or subscriptions for extra features I want, the “bells and whistles.” But the app should still be usable without a subscription. This feels like the app is shoving the subscription down your throat and it’s really annoying! Finally, there hasn’t been updates for two years. And I am not willing to put my academic organization on an app that can, at any moment, crash or be incompatible with any future software updates, with no team working to fix it. From the other reviews, it seemed that the app used to be an ideal for students to keep track of their work. ✓ NEED A SCHEDULE!I like this app, it would really help me if it had more features and especially if it would allow me to put in a two week schedule that changes. (for example we have week a and week b, week a has my class schedule and the week after that I follow my week b schedule and then it goes back to week a and so on.) for my school every student got an iPad, so a lot of us are looking for an app like this I know that there was a highly requested review for a similar app to this called ihomework, but as soon as I read that it didn't have the schedule I wanted I didn't but it. ✓ Perfect App For School or UniAmazing UI, and is very easy to use. Lags a little after long-term use while setting up classes. the reason for my 3 star rating is that i run on a 2 week cycle, meaning i have different classes every day for week one, entirely different classes for week two and then the next week returns to week 1. so i can only use this app for one out of every 2 weeks. ✓ SyncingI have this on my ipad and phone. But when you do the cloud sync it doesn't sync everything. All the just calendar events don't transfer over. Very annoying. Other than that its great..Version: 1.6.6
✓ Wish I could revert to the old versionThe new version is awful. I hate the look and it's so buggy. It keeps losing my login details for syncing. If you have a course title that is long enough to go over two lines of text and a teacher and a room listed for a class they appear on top of each other in day view. When you try and add a new single class from the calendar page you cannot change the date when you are adding details. Overall I really don't like the new design, mostly because I really loved the old design but if you're going to stick with it at least fix the bugs please..Version: 1.7

✓ Doesn't quite get there ...On review it is another one of those GTD apps that lack a proper workflow - it will take longer to maintain and update the data than to actually get the work done. There are a number of modules that are illogically put together, defying the Apple approach of simplicity and accessibility. Setting up initially, with semesters and courses and whatnot is fairly simple, but there is no facility to change the terms (for example you cannot rename a semester to a term), you cannot insert past grades to map against targets for future work - or maybe you can, but I couldn't find out how, which underlines my previous point : when you pick up an app you should be able to go straight ahead and use it, with zero learning curve. That does not apply to this app. On the plus side, it is nicely designed, integrates with iCal and iCloud, and appears to be fairly solid and bug free. As a conclusion, I cannot recommend this app based on my experience of the workflow and user experience..Version: 1.5.6
✓ Most recent review. Pay attention!Your ghost notification was NEVER FIXED!!!! Your update changed NOTHING!!! I don't have ANY data entered to this app and WTH?? what biology assignment do I have to submit?? My notification options were all turned off in settings and I did not even have any semesters registered with your app. The problem continues. I even DELETED THIS APP and I think it somehow screwed my calendar or something and it STILL sends me notification after DELETING this app entirely. I first recommended this app to my friend as well, now experiencing the same problem at SAME TIME!! Haha like last night at 11:45 we both had alerts from this app saying our biology assignments are due in 15 minutes at Midnight. And you know wt? That happened after we completely deleted this app from both of our phone. Today, I am RESTORING my phone so that my calendar can reset, and there is no freaking way that I'm going to install this application to screw my phone until the developer takes this issue SERIOUSLY and DEAL WITH IT. People please DO NOT BUY THIS APP for your own safety, until this developer fully address the problem and put a note on the app store GUARANTEEING that all the problems with notifications are GONE. ✓ Gets worse and worseI downloaded this app when I started University and found it extremely useful for keeping myself, my lessons and my assignments organised. Unfortunately, having to constantly type in buildings and classroom numbers is rather frustrating and the lack of integration with iOS calendar and contacts means everything takes twice as much effort. Despite this I would have previously considered giving the app more stars but recently I have been unable to add anything to my timetable, it appears on the list of subjects but nothing appears on the calendar at all, if it isn't displaying this, what other important information is being hidden that could result in a missed submission date or failed assignment?! ✓ Notifications need workThe app is nice, clean, simple UI. However, the notifications aren’t there for me. When setting a notification for an assignment, you can only set one. It would be so much more effective if you can set multiple notifications for each assignment. I find it too easy to pass by a notification and if I don’t remember to reset it, will forget about it. I have been trained by other apps to set multiple reminders and use snooze features to which has countered my use of this system correctly, or usefully. I also find it strange that when marking an assignment done it immediately asks for a grade which is impossible to log if you JUST handed in an assignment. I haven’t found a way to go back and enter grades once I have them. I also find that I can’t integrate this calendar into my Google calendar so I have to toggle between two calendars when looking up assignments and events. This is not streamlining. I have paid for the pro version but really it has only been useful to me I terms of telling me class locations and times. I could just rely on my Notes and Google calendar apps for that and they are free..Version: 1.9.8
✓ I bought this app years ago and lost all premium featuresOkay so it’s really sad because Ive been using this app for years and it has been my life savior since then, I had literally no complaints at all and I bought the one time purchase app for my PC so that I could access all features and sync between ipad / phone / pc. Yet years later until today they tell me my 15$ premium version isn’t worth anything anymore because I now have to pay monthly to access all the features I used to have. I can’t sync anything through all my devices and even the grading system is off, telling me my gpa is 19 out of 4.3 (yeah i’m not that good). This is just sad, I’m done with apps that want monthly paiements and I’m now looking for another app that offers similar features for a one time payment. ✓ What Happened?!I bought the license for product in 2018 then about 9 months later they changed to a subscription model. At first, this was fine and I was open to pay a yearly subscription for an ongoing active project providing new features and bug fixes. After the initial launch of the new subscription model, all development efforts stopped. There aren’t even maintenance releases fixing the preexisting bugs. The task system crashes the application all the time, which is a paid feature. The UI isn’t optimized for the newest version of MacOS. I ended up canceling my subscription because I felt like I was taking it from the rear end by the developer. ✓ Needs workWorks on iPad alright but I wish it had a better note writing tab and weekly notes as well. But it get worse. The pc version (of which I paid $15 for btw) decided that my 2 week old license key was expired. Buuut it gets worse. Then I tried to install their other windows app from the store and it refused to open. This also eliminated some save data I had on my subjects. It’s hard to trust an app with my due dates when I can’t trust it to open or even keep my license key. If it hadn’t been for all of these bugs, I would have given it a 4/5.Version: 1.9.7
✓ Problem with calendar, crashesI bought this app a couple of days ago hoping that it might be useful for me at college (UK) but there is a problem with portrait view of the timetable. I have a ipod touch 4 gen and it just keeps crashing when i flip it, and the only way to resolve it is to turn the ipod off (home button doesnt work) which is very annoying and it means i cant use it at college yet. ✓ Fully featured but less than worth the moneyGreat application, all the necessary features are included: grade weights, scheduling, assignments, exams, partner invites, etc. I do wish there was an option for recurring assignments without having to link it to a scheduled class instance. Assuming this is designed for high school/college/university students, it’s a well created app. However, I do not think the price point for the mobile/desktop apps are fair. In past versions, the developer allowed for synchronizing iStudiez to Dropbox (possibly other cloud storage providers but I can’t recall, but Dropbox definitely was used) so you only had to purchase three mobile version. Which I did... Now, returning to finish my degree, I find that Dropbox compatibility/sync is entirely removed. Forced to login to their credentials, and if you want to sync, you must pay for a subscription. So I can no longer can use the functionality I paid for only a few years ago. And since I’m stubborn and want to use this app to organize my degree efforts, I sucked it up and got one. But for students in a country where the price of higher education is so expensive. It’s kind of hard to understand why this would be the pivot. Just my two cents..Version: 2.0.1

✓ Great but..I really loved this app. I had it on my MacBook Pro and my iPad. I use it all the time and I’ve been using it for years. Now I’m disappointed because I paid for the app on my iPad then I paid for it again on my laptop and now they’re asking for a subscription to be able to sync the app. I have it on both devices because some classes I use my iPad and others I use my laptop. ✓ Time for Me to GoI’ve been using this app almost continuously since I started undergrad in 2011. We’ve been through a lot of adventures and academic programs together, but iStudiez hasn’t changed much over the years. I took a year off from grad school, and when I came back to enter my courses for my new grad program, I noticed that there’s now a $10/year multi-device subscription plan with no new features. I can’t justify paying that much for what this app does when there are so many free alternatives which don’t charge any purchase or subscription fees and offer more and better features. I wish there was a planner app with features for studying for comprehensive/content exams for grad students; the features of regular planner apps don’t quite cut it when it isn’t structured like a class. Thank you for your help through all of these years - sometimes critical help - but this where our journey ends together..Version: 2.0.1
✓ Room for improvementIt's a very good app and definitely worth the money to buy. There're however some opportunities to improve it. * it's not easy to configure the app, it could be more intuitive * studying in GB it's quite difficult to fully utilise this app when it comes to grading. My course has units within the subjects, which have certain 'weight' of credits, then each assignment for the unit is graded (pass, merit or distinction). It would be great if the app would take non-US grading systems and allow to configure the app accordingly..Version: 1.5.6
✓ What the *$%£"%£&$&)&&$£"^*¬????Up until this morning, would have said this was one of the best apps ever and so worth what you pay for. Then installed the latest update...and promptly lost everything - all my data, everything I had BACKED UP, all of it. Am going to have to go through and add everything all agan simply because even if I bought another app for the same purpose, I'd still have to input all the data into that.
