✓ Good except when used in landscapeAmazingly, when the iPad is turned to landscape, all the controls disappear and a huge digital clock appears. There's no obvious way to control it except swipe up or switch to portrait. And as iPad covers and stands are designed to be mostly used in landscape, this is a bit of a dealbreaker. Personally I want a one-touch way to turn off the radio if a phone call comes in. Shame, as otherwise it is a good app, and excellent on Apple TV..Version: 3.0.2
✓ Used to work greatThe last two updates have made it to where it will only work on WiFi and not over any data. It was an amazing app before. Now not so much..Version: 4.1.2
✓ Slow to connect to directoryWhen using this app on LTE, at startup it sometimes takes a while for it to connect to directory. Station stream startup is also much slower than comparable apps. Not sure why this is but it is distracting. I love the interface and station selection but would really like to see faster startup..Version: 4.3.2
✓ Great on Apple TV and iPhone but not iPadA radio app that works great across iOS and tvOS. Everything syncs with iCloud. Features include alarms, podcasts and weather. Reliable, tons of radio stations and a simplistic albeit dated UI. The player is based on the stock music app interface prior to iOS 10. Sure it makes the app feel dated but it works fine. All is great unless you’re using an iPad. If you’re in landscape mode you get a digital clock and no way to access to the player controls. It gets annoying having to rotate my iPad almost everytime I use the app. That and implementing the iPad’s multitasking features, slide over and split view, would be much appreciated. Overall, iPad issues aside, well worth the asking price. Having tried multiple radio apps I’ve settled with Receiver and use it daily and my iPhone, iPad and Apple TV..Version: 3.1
✓ Runs HotYesterday’s update causes my iPhone 12 to run really hot every time I use the app. Never happened before yesterday’s update. Immediately when I close the app my phone cools down. There’s no link or email to notify them of the bug. I hope they fix it because I like the app but this bug makes it annoying to use..Version: 4.4

✓ Apple TV version stops if ATV goes to Screen saver modeWhen Using this app on the Apple TV it always stops when the ATV goes to screen saver mode which makes it unusable. If that can be fixed I would probably start using it again. From what I can tell, you can only use an internet radio station for the alarms. ✓ Money Grab-Clunky, cheesy interface. -Poor judgement when selecting genres for stations. -Can't search stations by city. -Quality of audio is on a scale from bad to terrible. I would love to give it a 5-star rating, however, it has started changing stations by itself every 5 mins. ✓ BatteryThis is IMHO the best radio app out there if you leave it hooked up to a charger, but if you plan to use the battery for any length of time, be prepared to recharge your phone (a lot). It really is super energy-hungry..Version: 4.3.2
✓ Good but misses important features.Really really need to be able to report failing streams and be able to add my own podcast feeds. Unless this is here but hidden some how. Also, on ATV needs to be able to show the rest of the podcast feed!! Also to fave radio and podcasts you have to hit play then fave. Why not tap the i in the list and then have it there? Got lots of stations though and seems the best for this on Apple TV. Syncing is also great, but please add the report and new podcast feeds. Thanks for the reply. I understand as you're using an API to list someone else's streams it can be awkward, but you're customer facing so to speak. Look forward to the new features and customer podcasts and what not. ✓ Favorites GoneSame issue as others have reported: my favorites, synced across multiple devices via Dropbox, have disappeared. Interestingly, when I re-add stations, they go back to their original position in the sorted list. Stations not previously in favorites go to the top, as expected. Also, window size is now off in the Apple TV client. Page titles are cut off, and editing option is not visible..Version: 4.2.1

✓ Generally unstableThis app has too many shortcomings. The lack of buffering and auto-resume means you will have frequent interruptions and will have to manually reset playback. Also, this apps crashes often taking the wifi stack down with it. Finally, I opened a support incident with the developer and never got a response. Try "TuneIn Radio" instead. It works far better than this app, has buffeting, auto-resume and recording. It is also very stable..Version: 0
✓ Don't buy - wait for the next version!I was interested in a micro Hifi that used the "vtuner" service. Their advertised stations on the website seemed quite comprehensive. So, just to confirm the service before I spent the big $$ on the Hifi, I thought I'd try the iPhone app. Unfortunately, not all stations listed on the site are supported by this app: it only streams MP3 & not Windows Media. Their support said they're releasing a new app that does support it - but this is a new app & not an update.
